I've always been athletic. The kind of girl that could never sit still, and joined a dozen different sports clubs to push my body in different ways. I wanted to go pro and compete at the highest level. I didn't really care about which sport either, just with any sport where I could become good enough. Since my quirk to produce fire was so destructive and hard to control I chose to live my life as quirkless.

That is, until the accident.

That day I was headed to practice, but all it took to crush my dreams in an instant was a drunk driver. I don't remember much about the incident, other than some strange figure lurked over me and carried me to the hospital. When I came to everyone talked about the abomination that helped save me.

Unfortunately, my recovery wasn't a swift one. I lost my ability to walk and the doctors said I would never regain it no matter how much I trained. I became extremely depressed as I sat in that hospital bed, wondering what I should do with my life after losing the shot at achieving my dreams. When I was at my lowest, the 'abomination' came back to check on me. It snuck into the hospital in the middle of the night, but when I saw it at the foot of my bed I didn't scream. Somehow I could tell it didn't want to harm me.

Turns out the monster everyone was scared of was just a heavily mutated quirk. Apparently they lived in the sewers of the city and rarely ever came out during the day due to their scary appearance. They had only broken that vow to help me, but wanted to see how I was doing afterwards. Me and the monster became fast friends. Others might find their appearance scary, but I knew they had their heart in the right place. I opened up about my quirk, my dreams, and how I felt directionless after I lost my ability to walk.

That's when the monster made an offer to me.

Their quirk was a parasite type that had the ability to transfer into other people, and there was a good chance it would give me the ability to walk again. They had wanted to fuse with a person, but because they weren't evil they didn't just want to snatch a body. Even so, they had always wanted to know what it's like to be treated like a normal person, living a normal life. Their only condition was that with the added power of their quirk and mine combining, I should try to become a hero and protect people.

After taking the offer I made a full recovery, and my quirk became a dual type.

I spent a few years in UAU before graduating and becoming a sidekick for the hero Recall, also known as Iphigenia Pavlina. At first I was nervous and excited to be learning from such a renowned hero, but I quickly learned that she's a complete workaholic. You wouldn't believe it, but she can go for hours without eating or drinking anything. Sometimes I wonder how she gets through the day... Well, that's why I'm here. Working for her and Gleipnir's agency, doing my best as a hero and taking care of my mentor.
