 IN THE CITY OF FOOLS, I WAS CAREFUL AND COOL [attr="class","eire"]The lighting for the small lab booked out for Aneko's use was dimmed, and the workspace swiftly changed from its neat and orderly presentation to her flagship mess of wires, circuitry, and various materials littering the desk's surfaces. It was often difficult to stick to one project long enough when roadblocks became clear, so she'd go from idea to idea, keeping the previous ones around in case she thought of a solution. It was one of the many flaws that she was working on, the inability to stick to one thing at a time, and never completing anything. It was a miracle she was able to create something for herself, without being stuck endlessly theorizing. She was hardly making any progress on the assignment she had been given and she lacked the inspiration to continue for the day. However, with so much time left with this particular lab, she thought it'd be just a waste to leave... so there she was, leaning back in her chair, with a random manual covering her eyes. If someone were to enter, she would surely wake up, and it'd be an easy way to convince them she wasn't slacking off during school hours! Though it wasn't like people weren't aware; many of her professors and friends knew her as a chronic procrastinator. However, it wasn't as if she didn't get things finished on time, it's just that her workflow often made people doubt that she'd get things done on time. Which is not her fault! In her eyes, people just had to have a little more faith that she could complete designs a day before their deadlines... okay, maybe it was totally reasonable that people didn't like having her in group work. Regardless, it wouldn't be a stretch for her professor to assume that she wasn't doing anything of importance currently, much to her dismay, as she disliked having work shoved onto her plate. but they tore me apart like a hurricane. ✗ difficult Difficult and often apathetic, most people find it hard to work with someone like Aneko. She's standoffish, rarely holds her tongue, and will make it clear if she doesn't like you. However, behind those layers of angst, she's a lot like others; a misunderstood teen who failed at developing communication skills. Her clever mind was often contrasted heavily by her gloomy appearance, which led to her keeping to herself most of the time as she knew many of the kids in all of her years talked behind her back.[break][break] Past the days of staying quiet to her haters, she's lost the filter that once made her a model student and often chews people out for talking crap behind other people's back. Whilst she's still discovering what she wants to do post-graduation, she's often decisive on smaller matters and will drag anyone willing to be pulled along by her whims, which either lead to random hangout locations that she never got to try or wherever she's planted her workshop for the time being. Both her home and workspace are always a mess but she somehow manages to find whatever she needs through it, as if it were all a strange, dysfunctional system, known only to her. [attr="class","sectimgr"]  APPEARANCE[attr="class","sectdesc"]Aneko stands at a moderate height of 5'3" and maintains a healthy weight, often maintaining either an indifferent expression or scowling when something annoys her. She has dark purple hair that reaches down to just above her waist, which she often does up in a ponytail. Her choice of attire is often dark clothing, consisting mostly of comfort clothes that aren't difficult to move around in. She hasn't put any thought into her hero outfit yet. [attr="class","sectimgl"]  HISTORY[attr="class","sectdesc"]Aneko was the first of two children, and grew up as an older sister that strived to set a good example for their younger sibling. She was naturally gifted with not only the ability to learn fast, but also the work ethic to make use of it, which led to her developing quicker than others; this quickly led to isolation amongst her peers, though she maintained a somewhat cheery personality at home despite this.[break][break]
Applying to U.A. university was mostly a whim, one that her grades and smarts could support, luckily. She had always loved to tinker with gadgets and had even created a few gizmos of her own, so she was naturally drawn to the support program they offered. While she's still majorly unsure of what path she truly wants to take in the future, she wishes to change her image heading into her post-secondary education, and shave off the quiet girl she was and actually make some friends. The activation of Erasure is denoted by glowing red irises, and is deactivated upon losing line of sight of the target (including blinking). She can design and develop support gear up to the same rank as this ability. Using gloves that allow her to manipulate wire embedded into her clothes, she's able to trap battlefields in matrixes of wire which punish poor movement and thoughtless approaches by tightening a group of wires to wrap around an object. She can manually adjust the sharpness of these wires, to either cut clean through the object or simply hold it in place. It is most effective in closed spaces but clever thinking can lead to application outdoors.
