Nanna is the kind of person that is easy to get along with, but difficult to really get a sense of. She rarely shares how she is feeling with anyone, be it physically or emotionally. When she does comment on things she does so in a casual, matter-of-fact sort of way and tends to keep her personal ego out of it. She is fond of silly jokes that might not make sense to most people, especially puns, and she is the sort of person that will take a nap even when she isn't at home in bed. Nanna might not be very large in any physical way, but she has a larger-than-life presence. Often darting around in an almost floaty manner, she comes across like the weight of the world doesn't really rest very heavily on her shoulders at all. Her long straight hair has a tendency to sway this way and that and trail behind her, with a light and bouncy quality to it even when she isn't using her Quirk. She tends to smile with her eyes nearly, or entirely, closed and often engages in little physical gestures towards those that appreciate it such as hugs, holding hands, pats on a shoulder or back or head, and playful pokes and prods. She tends to favor light and flowy clothing, even in the winter - although she does wear a lot of layers and oversized coats to avoid being cold. Although she normally carries herself in a pleasant way, when genuinely angry she comes across as ice-cold, stiff and uncharacteristically focused.

There isn't all that much to say about Nanna's past, which is probably fitting for a person as focused on the present as she is. She's from Danmark, and from a comfortably well off but not particularly special family. She had a lot of interest in the rest of the world from a young age, and she grew up reading and watching all kinds of foreign media. It was actually a friend that got her interested in Japanese culture, heroes and villains and other similar things. A girl from the same neighborhood named Freja Helt that Nanna has known for as long as she can remember, since before either of them could use their Quirks.

Where Freja was really determined to become a hero herself, going so far as to get into a hero prep school in Danmark, Nanna was never interested in it. No matter how many times people suggested she give it a shot, Nanna insisted she didn't want to be a hero. That didn't mean Nanna had no interest in doing the right thing or helping others, quite the opposite, and as a kid she often got in trouble. Rather than settle down and follow the rules more, Nanna just got better at getting away with it. When Freja went on her trip to Japan and Nanna didn't get to go, it was probably lucky that things worked out that way. Something really bad happened that resulted in Elias, Freja's twin brother, dying and if Nanna had gone she might very well have died too. As it stands, even though she wasn't involved in the incident or directly effected it did still change things.

Freja doubled down on hero studies, eventually leaving for UAU, and while the two did not get to hang out as much Nanna was none the less proud of her friend for pursuing her dream. In the meantime, Nanna was following her own sense of right and wrong and making her own plans on how to get out into the world. Starting with Japan, Nanna actually was going to just buy a plane ticket and get her passport and see what happened... but luckily an exchange program opened up and without much trouble at all Nanna found herself attending UAU's general education courses and living in Japan with the Lien's as her host family, and as it so happens Mei Lien is also attending UAU's general education course.

Focused on making new friends, hanging out with current ones, and experiencing life in Japan, Nanna still has no intention of being a hero - but if a chance to do the right thing comes up, that's what 'Matador' is for!

QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Dansevise allows Nanna to freely alter her body weight without changing her shape or size, making herself very light or extremely heavy. A permanent feature of this quirk is that she has what look like meters on the outsides of her upper arms, with little triangles pointing up and down at the top and bottom, and when inactive the meter is normally half full at a neutral resting place. When active the meters visibly empty or fill as a visual cue to if she is making herself lighter or heavier and by how much - although each 'pip' in the meters do not seem to correlate to specific weights and are more a vague representation of how much she is pushing her Quirk at the moment. There is also a very small audible chime that gets lighter or deeper for every pip of change in the meters.

QUIRK DRAWBACKS: Dansevise does not make Nanna any stronger, so heavier weights can slow her down or make it difficult for her to move until she undoes it. Similarly, reducing her weight can make it hard for any of her actions to have any real leverage and hinders how much impact she can deliver. The meters on her arms can giveaway how she is using her Quirk and what to expect if someone is familiar with it, and the small chime sound when adjusting her weight can also be a giveaway. The biggest drawback is that when she uses her Quirk too much it suddenly inverts in an extreme way, such as making her so heavy she's unable to move and gets stuck in an imprint in the ground or becoming so light she floats out of control.

[b]QUIRK DESCRIPTION:[/b] Dansevise allows Nanna to freely alter her body weight without changing her shape or size, making herself very light or extremely heavy. A permanent feature of this quirk is that she has what look like meters on the outsides of her upper arms, with little triangles pointing up and down at the top and bottom, and when inactive the meter is normally half full at a neutral resting place. When active the meters visibly empty or fill as a visual cue to if she is making herself lighter or heavier and by how much - although each 'pip' in the meters do not seem to correlate to specific weights and are more a vague representation of how much she is pushing her Quirk at the moment. There is also a very small audible chime that gets lighter or deeper for every pip of change in the meters.

[b]QUIRK DRAWBACKS:[/b] Dansevise does not make Nanna any stronger, so heavier weights can slow her down or make it difficult for her to move until she undoes it. Similarly, reducing her weight can make it hard for any of her actions to have any real leverage and hinders how much impact she can deliver. The meters on her arms can giveaway how she is using her Quirk and what to expect if someone is familiar with it, and the small chime sound when adjusting her weight can also be a giveaway. The biggest drawback is that when she uses her Quirk too much it suddenly inverts in an extreme way, such as making her so heavy she's unable to move and gets stuck in an imprint in the ground or becoming so light she floats out of control.
