It's not that she's close-minded but she's the type to be skeptic until she's presented with solid proof.
She has a strong preference for working alone. It's not easy to gain her trust and make her rely on you. In fact even to people she considers friends, she rarely asks for help and will refuse offers to help on principle. When there is an option to complete a task on her own, nine out of ten times, she will take that option. Still, while she isn't the most sociable person, she doesn't turn away people who approach her. As long as you are sincere and genuine, she will entertain you until you are satisfied or her social battery runs out. In which case she would politely excuse herself from the conversation. Feeling awkward and worrying about appearances are a waste of time to her. She simply bows out from the gathering when she has had enough.
When asked if she has any hobbies she would say that she has none. She has dabbled in a few but she was never especially interested in the arts or recreational activities. The closest would be her predisposition to living a healthy lifestyle. She absolutely loathes getting sick as it puts her in a position where she has to depend on others. Exercises, balance meals, health tips, and different kinds of diets are the kinds of entries that would show up a lot in her search history. Despite being one of the hardest workers among her peers, she probably gets the most sufficient sleep. She goes to bed at a set time and can wake up in the morning without needing an alarm clock.

She was the shy kid who would tag-along and be led around by her more adventurous peers. Noa herself was knocked out during the events and only found out what happened when she woke up in the hospital the following day. Her injuries were bad too but none that she couldn't recover from. Her friends however became crippled for life. It wasn't her fault, but the 'survivor's guilt' took a toll on her. The young girl who once just followed her friends around was now serving as their crutch and support.
This went on for a couple of years until they eventually moved away to get better treatment abroad. By this time Noa's outlook in life had changed drastically. She felt that if she had been more reliable then her friends wouldn't have had to suffer their fate. She buried herself in her studies and training with the goal of becoming a hero who prevented such tragedies. More than half a decade since that incident, she finally finds herself in UA, a very different person from her youth.

As a side effect of this quirk, the user can also detect sources of water and thus manipulate it even when it can't be seen directly up to 30 feet away. Simply moving water around only takes concentration. For more complex manipulations, hand gestures and movements to direct the water the way the user wants are needed.
QUIRK DRAWBACKS: A source of water is absolutely required as this quirk cannot create water from nothing. The user can only manipulate water in vapor or liquid form so ice quirks and freezing temperatures can directly counter this quirk. A sufficiently dry environment is similarly a counter as there is no water to draw from the air. When drawing water from the atmosphere, water from the user's own body is also utilized in the process and so overuse can lead to dehydration in addition to the heavier stamina drain. A liquid substance must be at least 90% water in order for this quirk to work on it without issue. If the percentage of water is lower than that, then the user suffers the same drawbacks as drawing water from the atmosphere. A mental limitation prevents the user from using this quirk to manipulate water inside living things. In normal use, severe headaches are the main indicator when the quirk is being overused. When detecting water, a 3 foot thick wall of concrete or concrete-like material between the user and the source can block the user's ability to do so.
