Today was Hinamatsuri and the golden boi had absolutely nothing to do besides bother the shit out of the only girl they knew they could locate today. They had asked Freja on their last patrol if she had wanted to do anything with them for Hinamatsuri but they had honestly forgotten her answer to the question. Regardless of what it was they had figured Freja would probably want to spend the day with them rather than other girls her own age, they were besties after all right? Wait, what if she was their bestie but they weren't hers? That was almost certainly the case but it didn't really matter to Zen, they were still cooler than almost everyone in this school barring Freja herself.

"I got a ton of nail polish and face masks from the convenience store as well as snacks, there are like a bajillion K-dramas and Shojo on Fletnix and I drank some soy milk this morning so my estrogen levels are higher than usual, let's get our girl on." The sapphire-eyed titan walked across the room and deposited the plastic bags on his friend's desk. They had decided to forgo their usual outfit for a comfier polar bear kigu, it was Hinamatsuri after all.

"So I figured we could watch something romantic, talk about crushes, drink wine, paint nails and then we can play Smash bros!" The monkey king chuckled before leaning down to get close to Freja's face, looking in her eyes with his usual shit eating grin. "Unless you want to smash, bro"

[Freja Helt]

Freja let out a yelp as her door was kicked down. She lived with three other girls, Rin, Emilia and Yunagi, but none of them were home at the moment, wouldn't be for a while. ''Y-You startled me!'' She shouted back, her face already red from embarrassment at the yelp she had made. She was indeed in her jammies, but she hadn't tied back her hair yet. ''I was just getting everything ready.'' She finished dragging the vacuum cleaner into its usual closet space, having just vacuumed the entire dorm flat. On their last patrol, they had both agreed to an unofficial challenge. Zenkai thought he could make Freja look cute, and she claimed she could make them look cuter. She had totally studied all the hair and makeup videos the week prior too, so there was no way she was going to lose!

''Look at you being proactive. I haven't even left the house today.'' She stuck her hands behind her head as she tied her hair up in a simple ponytail. ''You like K-dramas and Shojo?'' She chuckled at the comment about his estrogen levels being high. ''That's cute, is it a polar bear?'' She referred to the kigu, wondering if she should have worn one too. ''Crushes?'' She was getting some glasses out for them to drink said wine from, when Zenkai leaned down, her eyes looking directly into his when he said what he did. ''D-Don't look at me when you say stuff like that!'' She immediately turned away to cover her blushing face, Zenkai was too damn good at teasing her and making her feel all kinds of embarrassed. Usually this type of teasing didn't get to her. Years ago she would have reacted as if she was still a guy because well, she was, wasn't she? It wasn't like she actually liked being a woman, this was just her curse putting her in this situation.

Or did she? Maybe she did kind of like being a woman. It had been almost five years since the incident that made her this way and with each passing day she could feel more and more of her old identities slipping away. An internal death of self, but from the ashes of that death, someone else was beginning to rise. Neither Elias, nor the Freja of old.

''A-Anyway!'' She cleared her throat, face still red as a tomato as she turned back towards Zen and tried to recover. ''Show me those hands! I'm gonna paint your nails first, then kick your ass in Smash Bros later.'' She grinned confidently. She was in fact, not good at Smash Bros.
