[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]Zenkai blinked a few times as they watched Farrin get to work doing what he did best. Though unlike the times before, the sense of adulation that the Monkey King got from seeing his friend go to town was completely absent. It was odd and if Zenkai could feel, it would be sad. Luckily Zenkai could not so he just watched on by Marlene's side and awaited further orders from the one he guarded.
It didn't take long for those orders to come in the form of saving the now plummeting civilians. The sapphire-eyed titan's body leapt into action as if it was designed to save people from tragic fates. In a way, it now was, while their primary objective was to protect Marlene, they were allowed a secondary objective which was to become a hero. It was something that Zenkai would probably have despised if they were still human. They remember their dislike of being forced to do anything at all, even if they wanted to do such a thing as well. Ever since acquiring Marlene's quirk though it all seemed like a dream. There was no hate anymore, nor was there any wish to deny being a hero.
It did not take much time for Zenkai to rescue some of the falling civilians, his body had not changed and he was still as fast and strong as ever. After depositing his charges safely on the ground he turned towards his friend as Marlene addressed him. "we will need your strength later, we will dispatch the villains while you recover." with that Zenkai turned to Marlene with a blank expression on their face.

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]It vas strange, he had gone to sleep after using his quirk once and when he woke up he had an entirely different quirk. They knew that they had been sleeping for quite some time and they weren't entirely sure what had transpired that granted him his new metallic form but they knew it wasn't good. They surmised they had awoken due to the quirk change, being an automaton meant he no longer needed sleep, even though his voluntary hibernation was wholly voluntary. And since they were an automaton that meant there was almost certainly only one person in the whole world that knew what he could be going through. Unfortunately that person turned out to now be human.
Marlene Lovechild could be considered the person he attributed the title of girlfriend to but seeing as they had not spoken much less saw each other for quite some time their situation was currently in flux. Regardless of their current situationship Zenkai could not seem to leave Marlene's side. In fact it was basically all he cared about, if he cared about anything that is. Robot feelings were weird, and be weird, he meant almost completely nonexistent. They felt content spending the past two days by Marlene's side until she felt the need to do something about her unconscious mother.
This was how they ended up in their current predicament, helping a wounded hero fend off some gangsters. Farrin was here too but he didn't seem to care as much, if anything they felt a slight sense of relief knowing that with the aide of the time turner there wouldn't be much trouble. At least from the gangsters.
"Do not indulge in violence too much" The bionic titan warned Marlene as she swatted villain away like a fly. If she had their quirk there would only be trouble. It had taken Zenkai years to learn how to control the rage that accompanied his quirk, though if anyone could handle it, it was Marlene.
Zenkai lunged at one of the gangsters that tried to sneak up on Marlene and quickly buried the mans face into the concrete with a single blow to the head. They might have an entirely new body but they were still as strong as ever, at least stronger than these thugs.
"My name is Zenkai Hatake" The titan spoke before holding his large metallic hand out to Marlene "we must go inside, I shall take you there"

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]The artificial sun roared above Zenkai's head as they watched the battle unfold below. They Watched the dragon dip, Kenta bounce around and Mei Lien's unfortunate demise. They didn't know the vigilante at all but they answered the call to fight a villain which made her a good person in their mind. It also served to further steel the Monkey King's resolve. The fear of their quirk quickly faded away in the face of an actual killer. The storm had become irredeemable in Zenkai mind after taking a life and now he would answer for his sins. Zenkai growled with effort as the gigantic ball of atomic energy began to shrink as the titan began to condense the energy. Their entire body strained with effort as the sphere of brilliant sapphire light grew smaller and smaller, rapidly becoming more unstable as the golden boi tried to contain so much energy into such a small space. Once the sphere was finally the size of an exercise ball, the titan jumped. Falling from on top of a building was oddly calming, the only sound Zenkai could hear anymore was the wind as they quickly approached the ground and his opponent. Farrin, being the brilliant boy he was had noticed the Monkey King's plan and had reacted accordingly. After assaulting the sad excuse for a villain the time turner launched the boss into the air with a vicious upper cut, sending the man directly towards the plummeting titan. " Your mother must be ashamed she raised two losers"  It took less than a second for the pair to meet in the air. As soon as the two were close enough the King of the Monsters shot their hand out, plunging the orb of atomic energy directly into the man's face. A split second later everything went white, a second after that the sound of the explosion echoed through the blocks. As soon as the atomic energy touched skin it rapidly expanded in a massive explosion that immediately vaporized a chunk of the nearest building and shattered every window in a two block radius. The sudden release of energy tore the two apart sending the storm rocketing back down to earth while essentially sending Zenkai up into the fucking stratosphere. It didn't matter much to the titan though, he had done his part and Justice had been served. [attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]As the long dormant atomic energy began to awake and course through their body, the golden boi couldn't help but feel like what they were making a mistake. They new the necessity of using their quirk but everything in Zen told them that they should just sit back, relax and let the rest take care of the boss. It was just their quirk, it wasn't really anything special but still, it felt like once it was done there was no going back. The door had been sealed shut for so long that they doubted they'd be able to shut that door again.
A small, brilliant ball of sapphire energy began to form within Zenkai's hand as they activated their quirk. The energy gathering above their palm was slow at first. It had been years since they had last used their quirk and just like a stiff muscle it took a while for his body to adapt to its usage once again. It always amazed Zenkai that something as beautiful as the orb of aquamarine light they had conjured could cause so much destruction, in fact, that was the only thing it was good for. The light it gave off could nourish no life, only take it. The universe had been cursed them with the ability to annihilate anything in their path in a blink if an eye and Zenkai had never really forgiven it for that. Hell, the monkey king didn't know if they ever would.
The ball of light grew bigger as Zenkai continued pour their energy into it, the chaotic storm growing worse by the second until the inevitable happened. A giant like Zen on top of a skyscraper in the middle of a storm was just begging for lightning to strike them and strike them it did. The monkey king was brought to their knee as the electricity shot through them, sending their heart into overdrive in an attempt to counteract whatever had just happened to their body. The golden boi let out a groan of pain in response, the lighting was certainly worse that it was before but they wouldn't be deterred from their mission.
The dark, cloudy skies suddenly lit up as a small, secondary sun came into existence over head. The King of the monsters had finally gotten the hang of their quirk once again and was channeling everything they had into their attack. Violent swathes of energy lashed out from the sphere as the titan fought to contain the atomic energy in it's current shape. The ball of light in its current form served two purposes. The first was to let everyone in the vicinity (Mainly Farrin) know what the hell was about to happen. The second was to taunt the storm. They had insulted the cringey businessman the entire fight to build up their ire. Now it was time to put his hard work to good use. If they could lure the boss into the air and closer to them they could at least minimize the collateral damage of the attack.

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]Well that definitely pissed the boss off, the dude basically flew into a blinding rage at Zenkai's words. Well, it wasn't just Zenkai's words, a fucking actual dragon had something to do with it as well…and the three other people actually attacking him as well. Zenkai didn't want to rush to any conclusions but the dragon definitely looked slightly familiar. Kind of weird considering the golden boi had definitely never seen a dragon in real life before. Still, seemed like it would be pretty easy work considering the group of people that had assembled to fight the dude. Just like how Zenkai wanted it. Now he could sit back, relax and enjoy the show. And then the boss decided to release the gas.
The sapphire-eyed titan honestly had no idea what the stupid cloud of smoke was but they knew it couldn't be good news. Zenkai knew enough to know that they weren't about to breath in a lick of the noxious fumes. That meant that their ability to distract the boss by insulting the shit out of him was severely hampered. This meant he'd actually have to contribute to the fight now and considering how the dude seemed to be able to regenerate from any amount of damage it seemed like it was finally time to do something.
"Oh no, the wind is too strong" Zenkai mock- groaned as they felt the wind come down on them. It was a hell of a lot of force and if the monkey king had stayed under it they probably would have been crushed to the ground "whatever am I going to do? Somebody help". Instead they rolled with it, jumping to the side as they fell to the ground before slowly rolling away as once the villains attention was drawn to Kenta.
Once Zenkai was finally out of the way of the chaos and out of the bosses vision he began to climb the tallest building around. Once at the top, Zenkai looked down at the chaos taking place below them and let out a loud sigh.
And then they began to channel their energy.

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]Zenkai could see the relief on Kei's face as he raised his pinky to his roommate. It was a simple gesture but it seemed to mean a lot to his friend. The golden boi understood, they shared a bond over the secrecy of their quirks. As soon as their pinkies touched the deal was sealed. Zenkai would never reveal the sophomores quirk, even if it killed him. "Deal's done, secrets sealed, you never have to worry about me ever telling anyone. Hell, if anyone finds out and you need me to beat them up just let me know"
Upon seeing the quirk, the sapphire-eyed titan's eyes widened as he started to realize the full potential of Kei's quirk. It now made complete and total sense why Kei would want to keep his quirk a secret. Zenkai thought his quirk was strong but what Kei could do could change the fucking world, topple industries and even just flat out kill people. Still, for college students this quirk could be used to cause extreme havoc.
Zenkai looked over at Kei, his face completely serious, looking around the room before leaning in. What they were about to say was of grave circumstance. "Can you make someone pee forever?"

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]The titan blinked a few times as they felt a wait on their arm. All they wanted to do was to bash the would be Assassin's face in but there was something getting in the way of that. Zenkai turned his head to see Freja holding onto him for dear life, begging him not to do something they both knew they would regret. There was a part of them that wanted to throw their partner off and continue on their mission. But the better part of them, the part Freja was begging to wake up won out.
With a sigh the monkey king relaxed their fist and stood up off of their opponent. Zenkai put a hand on Freja's head as they pulled out their phone to call the police. "I'm alright, I'm okay" The golden boi tried to reassure their friend, the blood from the wound on their arm tainting the girl's Grey hair red. "Don't worry, I was just putting the fear of God into her" Zenkai chuckled as they lied. They both knew what he would have done if Freja had not intervened.
Once the police had arrived and taken the woman into custody Zenkai turned around and began to walk off "I'm hungry Helt, you feel like some food?" They asked, trying to play off as if they weren't still bleeding or the fact they hadn't almost killed a woman over a simple name. Freja would have questions that they never really wanted to answer but at least going to get food might give him enough time to come up with a good lie.

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]The face that Zenkai gave Kei said it all, Kei was asking the one other person in U.A.U who didn't reveal their quirk to keep it a secret. On one hand the sapphire-eyed titan understood the need for verbal confirmation. If you wanted to keep anything a secret the other person needed to swear on it and even then there was a chance that they would just go around blabbing to everyone else. On the other hand, Kei could have just used his knowledge of Zen's quirk as leverage to ensure the golden boi's silence. Alas, Kei still had no backbone so there was only one true option.
"You know I ain't about to go blabbing to anyone…but if you need me to say it outloud, I promise to never say a word about it." To emphasize this point the monkey king even held up their pinky in the case that Kei wanted to make such a heavy promise. "I'd be a hypocrite if I went around blabbing about what you can do while asking you to keep mine all hush hush" Kei was a good lad to boot, he didn't deserve any such ill will.
"Though I got to say, your quirk seems like it would be a hell of a lot more useful than mine" Zenkai didn't have any idea what their quirk really could do but the fact that the dude could basically enjoy infinite milkshakes wad pretty interesting "So…What that thing do?"

Zenkai winced and looked away momentarily as his opponent was "Impaled" on horsefaces teeth. The look of shame on the pairs face from what just happened clearly evident. It was good though, the fight had essentially ended without any bloodshed…well mostly any at least and hopefully Horseface would learn his lesson this time. If not Zenkai had a feeling that the new guy would be more than happy to turn him into glue.
"OH, Uh, Zenkai" The sapphire-eyed titan spoke, rubbing the back of their head as the owner came out of the burger joint to greet him. "Milkshake sounds great" Zenkai wasn't one to turn down free food, especially Bernies milkshakes, they were banging. "I didn't do much though, it was mostly that dude, I just served as a distraction." Antoine certainly was a mysterious fellow, laid back and chill but Zenkai couldn't help but feel like there was more to it.
"A photo?" Zenkai grinned. They didn't exactly care to be photographed but since their new bud seemed go hate it, Zenkai was more than happy to make him just slightly more miserable and drag him into the photoshoot opportunity. "I Would love to" The Monkey King smiled as he bend down and wrapped an arm around Antoine's shoulder before holding up the peace sign. "Who wouldn't want to mark this momentous occasion, you guys can be the first to have my picture"

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"] CRACK, the familiar sound of Freja's bat hitting bone echoed down the street as his partner's bat connected with the Assassin's knee, shattering the bone and causing the mysterious attacker to cry out in pain. It was the beginning of the end for the Assassin, with her leg injured there was no way in hell that she would be able to get away from the sapphire-eyed titan now and Zenkai had absolutely no intention of letting her get away at all. She knew about them and for that reason alone she needed to be silence.
Before the woman could react to her knew Injury Zenkai grabbed onto their opponent before bending backwards and suplexing them straight into the ground, the asphalt cracking slightly under the force of the impact. In almost the blink of an eye the deadly assailant was successfully dealt with. While she might not have been unconscious from that last attack, combined with her broken knee meant she wasn't going to go anywhere anytime soon. Now all they had to do was wait for the police. Or did they?
The Monkey king sat down on the Assassin's stomach as they lifted a fist into the air, bringing it down onto her face. Maybe they didn't have to wait for the police this time. Maybe she'd be better off dead. If news of her death got back to Michael it would almost certainly be taken as a warning… To leave them the fuck alone and to stop searching for them. Maybe once…it was the right thing to do.
