Zenkai Hatake, Originally, Zenkai Blackbriar was born into an extremely wealthy and prominent family back in The United States. His mother, Shizuna Hatake, was the second wife of the man he called father: Byron Blackbriar. He was the third eldest out of six with two older half-brothers as well as three younger sisters. For the early part of his life Zenkai lived a relatively peaceful life where he was loved and spoiled by his mother and relatively ignored by his father who was too busy showing his two older brother's the ropes of his company to really care about any of his other children. Still, Mama Hatake's love was all he and his sisters ever needed, that and the copious amounts of money they were able to spend on toys, trips, clothes, and whatever else that could possibly think of. It was a good life, a happy life and one that he was content to continue to live until things inevitably went wrong.

Around Zenkai's tenth birthday his mother passed away in a car accident on her way to pick up her kids from school. It was a loss that absolutely devastated to Zenkai and his three sisters. The loss of the light in their lives brought them nothing but darkness and the realization that their father didn't really care for them. From that point on Zenkai took it upon himself to take care of his three little sisters, making their lunches, making sure they finished their homework, and putting them to bed. He did everything his mother did and he knew it would never be enough; he was just a boy, he couldn't replace their mother but he could try. His sisters seemed happy to have someone caring for them though and to Zen, that was enough.

The second tragedy came four years later, when their father, coming to the end of his life, realized what a horrible father he had been to his younger children. Though he couldn't change the past he was determined to make their future a better place. Thus Byron changed his will so that all of his kids would be receiving equal parts of the company and his wealth. While his passing was certainly lessened by the fact that they'd never have to worry about money ever again, it drew the ire of their half-brothers who believed they were the only ones worthy of inheriting their father's wealth. Thus, their plan to regain what the brother's thought was their rightful inheritance was born.

On one rainy night while Zenkai was hanging out with the eldest sister, Marlene, an assassin broke into their with the intent on killing all four of the younger siblings, saying as much as he drew his knife getting ready to 'stage an unfortunate break in'. Luckily the youngest two were at a sleepover and not home, leaving only one of his sisters for Zen to protect. Unfortunately, Zen was a kid, and to make it worse, he was a kid with a strong quirk. He had never really learned to use his quirk in the first place, seeing it unnecessary since he had no plans to ever become a hero so when he used it on the would-be assassin, things went wrong VERY fast. The fight with the assassin wasn't an easy one and Zenkai lost himself to the combat as his need to kill the man took over. After firing a few atomic blasts with his quirk he ended up wounding both the Assassin and his sister, setting their mansion ablaze in the process. In the resulting chaos as the mansion began to collapse around him Zenkai was unable to get to his sister and pull her to safety, something that would haunt him for the rest of his life.

In his distress and panic, Zenkai did the only thing he could thing of doing: he ran, he ran far and ran fast and decided to completely vanish from the face of the earth. He knew that his brothers wouldn't stop coming for him and he could only hope that his other two sisters would be safe with their friends. Eventually Zenkai stopped running when he ran into a Buddhist monk somewhere in the depths of China. How Zen got there was beyond him, he had no recollection of his escape from the states and only managed to snap out of his fugue state when the monk told him that he was safe. Thus he began living with the monks in their monastery, adopting their way of life in hopes of containing the monster within him.

Four years passed in relative peace, his days filled with chores, meditation, bland food, and sparring, but at least Zenkai didn't need to worry about dying. Though he missed his sister's terribly and regretted what he had done he had learned to detach himself from his past and his life, while he disliked some aspects of Buddhism it gave him peace to follow the way of enlightenment and at that point in his life that was what was needed.

By sheer dumb luck, on his eighteenth birthday, Zenkai ran into his maternal grandfather who was visiting China from his home in Japan. While older, bigger, and dressed completely different, the older man would never mistake his grandson and quickly brought him back to Japan to live with him. It was here that Zenkai found out about his mother's side of the family who was estranged after she had married Byron, a man that his grandfather vehemently disliked. His grandfather was the head of a hero agency and his mother was supposed to take over before running off with Byron. His grandfather was getting old now and hoped that Zen would take up the mantle of hero. This was where Zenkai began to formulate a plan of his own, he would learn to become a hero and eventually go back to the states to kill his brothers and get his sisters if they were still alive. Thus, The honored one enrolled in U.A. University.

King of The Monsters is a mutation quirk that turn's Zenkai into the human incarnation of Godzilla. While Zenkai does gain some lizard-like scales and enlarged canines as perks as well as a more durable body (Not represented by his quirk but his Con stat) The main ability of his quirk can be broken down into one main feature:

Atomic Catastrophe: Zenkais's body functions like a self-contained nuclear reactor, the energy of which he can release and manipulate at will. The directed energies can take various forms, including but not limited to Beams and Balls of atomic energy. When this energy comes in contact with something solid or whenever Zenkai wills it, the blasts begin a runaway chain reaction and explode. The blasts themselves are extremely hot, while the resulting explosion generates tremendous force due to the runaway reaction.

The longer Zenkai uses King of The Monsters the more of a toll it takes on Zenkai both mentally and physically, cracks and fissures will begin to form across Zenkai's body causing him physical pain as his the atomic energy within him tries to physically rip itself out of his skin. As the titan continues to fight he becomes more bestial in nature as well, losing himself over to the quirk causing him to attack friend and foe a like as he tries to destroy everything in front of him. The generation of atomic energy also consumes a lot of calories which makes him almost nigh constantly hungry.
