[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]Zenkai couldn't help but burst out in a roar of laughter as the storm-wielding villain confirmed his relation to the lightning monk they had fought with Freja a few weeks prior. Though the dude wrongly assumed that Farrin was apart of it the golden boi was in no rush to correct the mistake, honestly it just made the whole situation even more hilarious now that the Time Lord was an unwilling participant in their opponents plans for revenge.

The sapphire-eyed titan was so busy laughing in fact that they didn't even notice the first few bolts of lightning that started to rain down on their position after the taunts. Their laughter was immediately cut off when one of the errant bolts struck them directly in the chest knocking them flat on their ass. The monkey king let out a small groan as they felt the familiar taste of copper in his mouth that came with being struck by lightning. It definitely wasn't the most fun feeling in the world but it seemed to hurt slightly less than the first time they dealt with it with Freja.

Brushing himself off, Zenkai let out a little chuckle before following Farrin up the side of the building. It became rather trivial work with the speed boost afforded to him by his time turning friend and Zenkai made it to the top of the building just in time to watch the storm bringer eat a car to the face. It was a classic move and one that the titan very much wanted to imitate but also one that appeared to be wholly ineffective. Well…it was effective, the shit head just healed up right after. Great, storms and regeneration, what an unfair combination….

Zenkai grinned and shook his head slowly as the Storm averted his attention to Kenta and one of the newcomers, threatening to kill them as well. "Man! I knew it! You two are exactly alike! You shoot electricity, you're both obviously insane, you're stupid as fuck, you have AB-SO-LUTELY no rizz and the worst of it is you're uncreative! I mean, c'mon my dude you just keep saying unworthy and you've said you'd kill someone on three separate occasions, do you know what a thesaurus is my dude? At least get creative with your threats and your speeches! If you're going to try and be a villain you can't just have the powers my dude, you need the drip, you need the rizz, at least your bro had that monk vibe going, you just look like a disgruntled used car salesman." The golden boi was more than happy to site back and taunt their opponent to keep the lighting and wind focused on them. They knew what they were capable of when it came to taking opponents attacks. Plus, being the diversion was the easiest job of all, all he had to do was talk shit. And he was very good at talking shit.

"You'd think someone who could summon storms would have at least some drip"

TL;DR: Laughs their ass off then gets hit by lightning before delivering the most scathing review of the villain's life that they've ever had

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]The sapphire-eyed titan blinked at his roommate's question. At first he didn't understand what Kei was asking, wasn't it obvious that he wasn't using a quirk? The engineer's clarified the confusion by pointing out Zenkai's physique which made sense, they were built like a fucking tank so it was easy to mistake his monstrous body as the result of a quirk. "Nah dude, I'm just built different, lifting furniture is easy but it's not my quirk, kinda wish super strength was tho, that would be cool." Zen flexed his fingers inside the gauntlets "Can't believe you actually thought that was my quirk dude, that's pretty funny…and sad…why would I need gear to make me stronger if that was my quirk?"

The monkey king would have enjoyed teasing and bullying Kei all day for his lack of knowledge but it had been intentional on Zenkai's part. They didn't enjoy using their quirk, hell they couldn't even really remember the last time they used it. It was very potent and extremely dangerous and they had resolved to never using it again. Unfortunately in the process of becoming a hero their eyes had been slightly opened to the dangers that lurked in the world. The monkey king hoped his gauntlets would be enough to level the playing field against those who used their quirks but he knew eventually he would be pushed to use his quirk and when that time came it would be better if his gauntlets worked with it.

"Mutation actually, but the mutation does make me an emitter so…both technically" The temperature around the gigantic student flared up a couple degrees in response to the feeling of vulnerability that came along with the explanation of his quirk. With a loud sigh Zenkai looked around to make sure absolutely no one was looking before holding his hand out "Don't. Fucking. Touch. It" The enlightened one warned as a small sphere of sapphire energy sparked to life above his palm. "Pure, one hundred percent atomic energy, explodes on touch or on command" A second later the orb fizzled out as Zenkai shook his hand, trying to hide the tremors that now over took his arms.

Zenkai took in a deep breath and did his best to calm his heart rate as his mind screamed at him for activating his quirk. They couldn't explain why but there was an overwhelming sense of dread when they looked at the energy in their hand. Luckily Zen was pretty good at not showing many emotions and he was pretty sure that Kei would remain unaware of his uneasy.

"So, thing you can work with that?"

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]It didn't take Zenkai very long in their search for entertainment to get lost. They were still relatively new to the city and had little to no experience navigating the sprawling metropolis. Even when he lived on New York City he was chauffeured around so his sense of direction was shit at best the familiar path back to U.A.U. had turned into a strange, run down road. It wasn't until he passed the same apartment complex three times that he finally realized that he had no idea where he currently was.

The confusing situation Zenkai found himself in would have upset him more if he didn't feel the need to walk off all the food they had just eaten. Instead the sapphire-eyed titan just calmly walked around looking at the various sights as he tried to mentally map out where he was. If he was going to be a hero in Japan he probably should do his best to memorize his surroundings but it seemed like so much work! Especially when they had a phone with GPS!

That was it! The titan quickly pulled put his phone and typed in his school on the maps app before they started walking again, only to stop and turn and walk the other way when he saw the little person on the screen start to move farther away from the school. If he ever made it back at this point it would be a miracle.

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]"Alright Helt, better have your Jammies on and your hair tied back, it's time to do our nails" Zenkai shouted as they kicked down Freja's door. Today was Hinamatsuri and the golden boi had absolutely nothing to do besides bother the shit out of the only girl they knew they could locate today. They had asked Freja on their last patrol if she had wanted to do anything with them for Hinamatsuri but they had honestly forgotten her answer to the question. Regardless of what it was they had figured Freja would probably want to spend the day with them rather than other girls her own age, they were besties after all right? Wait, what if she was their bestie but they weren't hers? That was almost certainly the case but it didn't really matter to Zen, they were still cooler than almost everyone in this school barring Freja herself.

"I got a ton of nail polish and face masks from the convenience store as well as snacks, there are like a bajillion K-dramas and Shojo on Fletnix and I drank some soy milk this morning so my estrogen levels are higher than usual, let's get our girl on." The sapphire-eyed titan walked across the room and deposited the plastic bags on his friend's desk. They had decided to forgo their usual outfit for a comfier polar bear kigu, it was Hinamatsuri after all.

"So I figured we could watch something romantic, talk about crushes, drink wine, paint nails and then we can play Smash bros!" The monkey king chuckled before leaning down to get close to Freja's face, looking in her eyes with his usual shit eating grin. "Unless you want to smash, bro"

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]Zenkie grinned and walked over to the smallest robot in the line, now that the punches were over it was time for the kicks. Of course since it was just a single kick to each robot it left the golden boi plenty of time to talk with his roommate which meant he would be forced to answer the question whether he wanted to or not. Thankfully he very much wanted to. It was a small point of pride to be this specifically lazy. Yes he was built like a tank and yes he could probably get a lot stronger but…

"Yeah! I do!" The sapphire-eyed titan said cheerfully as he delivered a kick to the first dummy. "Since I don't use my quirk I need something to give me an edge when I'm finally forced to fight and having gear that makes me stronger and let's me hit harder seems like the easiest solution!" Zen delivered yet another kick. "Like yeah. I could probably train a whole bunch like Farrin does but I'd rather use that effort to focus on other things so… Getting you to make gear sorta feels like a shortcut to that y'know? One less thing I have to train! Easy peasy." The titan continued kicking at the dummies while struggling with an internal dilemma.

For a few minutes the giant freshman was silent as he beat the shit out of the training dummies with his feet before he eventually spoke up. "Yo…you think if I told you about it, could these things channel my quirk through them?"

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"] Zenkai couldn't help but chuckle as Marlene grabbed his collar and lifted herself up to look him in the eyes. She was a goofball that was for sure, of course the android would vehemently deny any such accusations but her lack of social awareness in her actions seemed rather clumsy and endearing! For a second the golden boi thought that she was going to give him another kiss in front of everyone, instead she began to explain to Zenkai why they needed to become the best skating couple at the ice rink.

The sapphire-eyed titan was rather distracted by the fact that he had his hands on his would-be girlfriend's bottom but he had could the gist of it. She felt embarrassed and slighted by the people's chuckles and now wanted to show them up. Something Zenkai was more than happy to help her with. Except for the fact that he wasn't really a skater. Sure he knew how to start and stop and skate around but he only knew how because of Hockey, he didn't really know any figure skating moves that might help her.

"Alright, I guess its time to skate backwards?" Zenkai asked, figuring that was one of the few things in his repertoire that might be useful to the automaton. "Just follow my lead I guess? You're a pretty fast learner you know? You've got a pretty good butt" Zenkai had certainly meant to say brain but his mind was still on her tush from when he had to hold her up.

Instead of getting flustered and addressing the mistake, Zenkai began to teach Marlene how to skate backwards albeit with an entirely red face.

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]"Don't have to keep worrying about me, Time Lord, I'm fine. Can't say the same for Luchador over here though" The golden boi easily launched himself to the next building over with his bucket full of popcorn chicken in his arms, only managing to lose one precious piece in the process. "Even if I didn't it's not like I couldn't survive the fall." It wasn't an overstatement either, Zenkai was built to last, he could take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. Of course he had never truly tested the limits to his durability, that would take too much work after all, but he was confident that he would most likely survive the fall, probably intact enough to still enjoy a burger or two before needing to go to the hospital.

"Honestly, I could care less about the patrol, Burger Town just released a new triple stack breakfast burger with a fried egg and a hashbrown and I'm going to try it today or someone is going to get hurt." One of those statements was a lie. when it came to patrols, the sapphire-eyed titan could really care less about his duties, the burger he could care less about. They had their popcorn chicken and while they would love a burger, hurting someone over not getting one was way too much work.

Suddenly a huge gust of wind hit the trio and the surrounding area sending everything and everything that wasn't nailed down into the air, including Zenkai's popcorn chicken. The monkey king could only look on in utter terror as his mid-patrol snack was lifted into the air. The freshman couldn't help but fall into the pits of despair as he watched his preciously little morsels float away, never to fulfil their true purpose of find their home in his stomach. It was a tragedy the likes of which were only rivaled by the greatest of disasters.

"Alright, I was lying earlier, but I will hurt someone over that."
