AWARENESS (B) PRESENCE (D-) CONSTITUTION (D) SPEED (A-) DEXTERITY (C-) STRENGTH (C-) CQC COMBAT (C-) Jack Orion	Leo was just sitting on a high up platform, wearing his shimmering black suit made of coalesced dark energy. Wth one leg under him and a feet dangling, he watched people around the training ground moving about and going on with their training routines. He watched as they moved about more and more, not really in the mood for training. If anything, he was collecting information about other people quirk and attacks. Naturally, given how he was, he was being given a wide berth by other students... not that he minded much. "...Hm..." Leonard mumbled as his head turned to the dragon guy doing some kind of anime poses. He was there too it seemed. They had already met once, fought once too. He didn't really need to know much about his powers, yet one thing jumped in his mind. Something he did not realize during the time they fought. The tail dragging behind the guy was way too big than what he remembered. He watched as the guy waved it around a bit. Yep. Too big.  Leonard would slip down from his sitting spot and land gracefully on the ground. Then, light squeaking signaled his walking forward towards the white dragon guy. Some heads turned, but otherwise most people were disinterested in what the ex-villain was doing. The young white haired emitter stopped a few paces away. The dragon was still doing poses and stuff and Leo did not feel like interrupting for the moment.

Faster.

An army of targets stood before him. Almost a hundred, he counted. Blue, shimmering and motionless. A timer at his hip, counting down the time as Jack readied himself. Steam escaping his mouth, hunched forward and claws bared, his tail swishing from side to side in anticipation. It didn't matter how many times he had to do this - he would get the results he wanted. The results he needed. He needed speed. Efficiency.

FASTER!

At the sound of a buzzer the dragon boy shot forwards towards the army, as fast as his body would take him. Slashing through each hologram with his claws, swiping at them swiftly with his tail, Chaos Energy coursing around his body. A whirlwind of movement that refused to cease, he would quickly tear through each and every last obstacle in his way. Within a matter of seconds, there would be nothing left except the cosmic dragon in the middle of the field.

He took a deep breath, stopping the timer on his watch. 28 seconds, this time. Tch. How many people would have fallen in that time, he thought? 20? 30? More? He grit his teeth, shaking his head. No, no, NO! It wasn't good enough! He would rub his temples, grunting as he would start to reset the simulation again.

It didn't matter how many times. He needed results.

Hearing the quiet squeaking behind him, Jack would briefly glance back at his visitor. Raising an eyebrow at him, but not paying him too much mind, he would continue to tweak with the settings of the simulation field as he approached. "Something I can help ya with there, Leonard?" he asked. He hadn't exactly heard a lot from the guy since their last little training session where Jack was playing villain. Which, given some of Leonard's comments, he still found hugely ironic.

Not that he blamed him too much. He didn't know the guy's past, and he was more or less trying to play the part of the destructive villain at the time, even if it was more to buy himself time than anything else. Whatever got under the guy's skin at the time wasn't really any of his concern, either way. Unless that was what this was about.

He walked closer... to the side. To the console. He looked back at the guy, then down at the ground. He finally decided to speak. "How do you move about with a sausage dragging behind you." Leonard asked. Behind the extremely insensitive bluntness there was a hint of curiosity and a side dish of honesty. The ex-villain did seem to have trouble figuring out why someone would want to have such a big noodle hanging from their lower back dragging them down. It was like begging to get it snagged somewhere. Well... not like there was much choice probably on having it or not. But still. Leonard then turned over to the robots. "You're still charging in like a bull, is it for rule of cool? Clearly your light is faster than your body." Another fair, if still rather blunt, observation, perhaps also a veiled compliment and a hint of acknowledgement. Very few things had Leonard in a pinch when it came to reaction times and sheer speed. "If you have multiple targets, why don't you just use your power to attack? Energy is faster than matter. I can understand your approach on single fights, but with a crowd it'd be better to just deal with all the stuff simultaneously."

A sly smirk would quickly form on Jack's face. Admittedly, that wasn't the first time he's gotten that question - but the phrasing...oh, that phrasing. "Well, I mean...I gotta wear looser underwear cuz of it- oh! You said the back?" he cackled, shaking his head a little bit. If he was gonna call it a sausage, he really should have expected the jab. "'Bout the same as all of you non-tail havers, brother. I was born with it, so."

He would turn around, crossing his arms as he would face Leonard, that long 'sausage' of his still casually swaying to and fro, from in front of him to the back of him. Another raised eyebrow at an interesting question, even if as he spoke he basically answered it himself. As the simulation would start to reset itself, Jack would start to walk forward towards the dummies. "Hm...you have a point, there," he would say, light starting to emit from his tail as he would walk.

Then, with a swift movement, Jack would spin, swiping his tail towards the dummies. A crescent of energy would fire, cutting down all of the dummies in one fell swoop. Crossing his arms again, he would grin back over at Leonard. "Wow! Would you look at that! Almost too easy! Except..." he said, a small frown forming on his features. "That kind of defeats the purpose of training. Wouldn't you agree?"

He would approach the console once more, starting to reset the simulation once more. Admittedly, this at the least took his mind off of things, his mood a little bit brighter than it was a few moments ago. "There's a phrase I've heard that I take to heart a little. 'With great power, comes greater responsibility'. Kinda hits hard when you're a walking talking space nuke," he said, looking down as he tweaked around with the settings more.

"You are right, to a degree. My Quirk would in theory make things like that easy. Except you've seen first hand just how destructive it can be. And that was me holding back because I didn't want to actually hurt you. Besides..." That smile of his would fade for a moment, his body pausing as a whole. "I've had a bit of an eye-opener recently. Found myself in a situation where my Quirk was almost entirely useless. Makes you kinda realize that your Quirk can't always save you. 'Swhy I'm training my general speed and reflexes," he explained, sighing.

He really hated thinking about that day. And yet here he was.

He guessed he should have expected someone like the dragon to go for it. Then came the other part of the conversation. The one he was actually interested in. "Is it useless because you can't use it or because you don't know how to use it? My quirk is naturally weak to yours, yet I was able to go around that by applying it differently. Perhaps you should try to find different applications. Energy isn't always destructive." Leonard fired back, before his gaze went back to Jack's tail. He waddled to the dragon's side, reached out with a hand and... *poke* A light, very very gentle touch. Then a pause and a hum. Leo was still trying to figure out how he would move around with so much weight always trailing behind him. Perhaps that explained why he was faster than Jack. "You do have a point, somewhat. A quirk is just one side of you, and effective training is supposed to train the whole of you." He would conclude, moving over to the dragon's right side to see what kind of settings he was inputting to make himself go faster. Remaining in contemplation for a few more beeps of the control pannels, Leo looked back up to his... Friend? Rival? Acquaintance? Did he even entertain the thought of wanting to be better than him? "Hm. I wanna try something. Run the program like earlier. Before you do though..." He chimed, extending a hand towards Jack... intending for the Dragon to grab it, provided Jack trusted Leo enough of course. Though, much like their current conversation, Leo's intentions appeared nothing else but genuine, without an ink of ill intent.

Jack raised an eyebrow at Leo's questionable retort, a bit of a frown forming on his face. "...This guy could absorb my energy and turn it into strength. Honestly, never seen tech like it before. Prolly would have REALLY tickled my curious side more if it wasn't for the fact it was bein' used to murder people. Had to resort to going hand-to-hand, and ended up launching myself in the air with some help and using my Quirk to basically charge into the host at full force. Prolly on the news, it wasn't that long ago. So...fair enough." Again, he shook his head, gritting his fangs. Gripping the sides of the console, taking a deep breath.

Unfortunately for Leo, that was probably the worst possible time to really be poking at his tail. The moment the slight sensation hit him, the appendage seemed to move entirely on it's own in a swift manner, the tip wrapping around Leo's forearm and squeezing tightly, it's grip like iron. Meanwhile, Jack hadn't seen to really move from his spot at all, aside from the death glare he was giving the other white-haired student. "...You haven't been around a whole lot of other mutants like me, have you? Lil' surprised, given it was my sister who got you into the school, right?" he asked, remembering a conversation with Skald a while back regarding their first confrontation. Obviously, given the circumstances he agreed to give the guy a chance to improve.

Doesn't mean he really liked being literally poked at.

After whatever little spat that interaction would cause, Jack would release Leo's arm and go back to fiddling with stuff. May as well amp the settings a bit to blow off that little bit of steam. However, before he did a whole lot, he would look a bit surprised at Leo's suggestion. Looking up and down from his hand to his face, and back again a few more times, he couldn't help but snort. Laughing a bit and holding his face a bit to avoid being seen blushing, he would shake his head. "You are NOT beatin' the innuendos today, man."

He would smirk at the probable confusion that would follow. "I mean, Jesus man. Starin' at my ass, calling my tail a 'sausage' and then poking it. Now ya wanna hold my hand? At least ask me out to dinner first man. Lucky I swing in all directions otherwise I'd probably be offended." he chuckled, before finally gripping his hand. "That bein' said, got me curious at least."

It did make him very curious about Jack's tail again. So he could use it to grab stuff, and it moved pretty quickly despite the size.  "Does touch on it bother you? Strange. Last I know your sister is pretty okay having her tails hugged or poked. They are very fluffy all things considered. Besides, it's not like I'm harming you. I'm just trying to... understand some things." Leonard replied as if nothing was wrong in the most curt tone possible. Well, he was always curt but perhaps this time he was curt-er? *poke* A light, very very gentle touch once again. Then the bou seemed satisfied with his findings. He was released and then Jack said a bunch of things that actually broke Leo's serious expression and had him slightly puzzled for a few moments. Then came an answer delivered once again as if it wasn't much of a big deal at all, as if it should be already be taken for granted. "If you want to go on a date with me you can just ask me instead of implying. You are kind of good looking and I do like the color of your scales, plus so far you're the only one who managed to actually be interesting enough to look into a little bit more. Perhaps you boast a little too much, but outside that your personality is something I don't mind being in the presence of. Right now I was more focused on training and quirk talk but sure, we can go grab something to eat after." Just like that. No pushback, no nothing. Leo simply agreed to spend more of his day for Jack specifically and take him out to dinner. If it was a dating proposal, it was probably very anticlimactic. Though it showed one thing, Leo actually genuinelycared enough for Jack to entertain the though of spending time together. Considering how introvert and lonely the guy was on the regular, perhaps Jack scoring a date? Hangout? With the Little Devil was actually a big W.  As Leo's hand was finally grabbed and held, the white haired teen took a few deeper breaths. The black suit around his body started bubbling lightly before losing form and turning into an amorphous mass of pure black. "Huh. This is a little more difficult than I had anticipated. I need you to hold still for a couple moments." He ordered, as the black mass suddenly started moving, latching onto Jack's arm, the one holding hands with Leo, before travelling further up. In a matter of seconds Jack's body was coated with black, the same black that minutes prior was hugging Leo's body. It felt slightly cold as it kept wrapped around him. Leo let go of Jack's hand and huffed lightly, his dark energy quickly solidifying again, this time around Jack's body. The dragon mutant was now wearing the selfsame dark suit he had seen Leo wear during his fight. The material would feel slightly rubbery and very elastic as it snugly hug his form from neck to feet like a compression shirt, all the while leaving space on the back for his tail to safely poke out. It did not restrict nor impeded movements. So far just felt like a normal bodysuit. Leo had to take a moment to sit down, looking actually quite winded. There was something special about that particular creation compared to any other thing he created with his quirk, he didn't ever need to strain that much to do something. "Oof, okay... getting you fully enclosed in armor is a no for the moment... i need to figure out how not to burn so much stamina. Wearing my suit should do for now." He said between breths, before waving his hand at Jack, shooing him away towards the training bots. "You can go the simulation again now... man I need a moment to concentrate. You can go ham though, use as much of your quirk as you can." He laid down on the floor with a sigh, swiping off some sweat too.
