| [attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... Jun was settling into the idea of volunteering at the orphanage a little more frequently, but similar to last time she reached out to Kei as a support she could lean on; while she didn't want to put pressure on her associate, she knew she wasn't going to survive this on her own. As much as she loved her other friends, Kaida's soft side took a bit of effort to coax out. Not only that, but she could be a little abraisive, and while Jun wasn't perfect she could at least take it. The same could be said with Yaoyao, but after the last incident where the shadowmancer had to deal with a kid it was better to seek out a friendly face. And so the pair would find themselves outside the Tokyo Home for Lost Children yet again. This time they were volunteering in a much more generic capacity, doing a little cleaning here or there or maybe even tutoring the kids. That was more likely, right? As they entered in, though, the same trainwreck teacher they encountered last time, Miss Hiryu, looked up and looked probably much more worse for wear. Regardless, she gave them a wide smile as they entered in. "Ah! There you two are! I heard you had been volunteering here again!" Kei Hada |

Kei was back here again. He liked to think Girls' Day went well last time he and Jun were at the orphanage. The kids had fun with their crafts and no one got hurt despite that slight scare of several things floating to the ceiling. He was even gifted a doll from one of them, which was literally the sweetest thing and he had to hold himself back from cooing at the gesture. It now sat proudly on his desk in his dorm. He had to admit though, it was nice not having to plan a session this time. It was going to be a simple day of minding their own business with chores, maybe some tutoring if it came to it. Either way, it'd be easier than last time. So long as no one tried to prank them with their Quirk again that is. In any case, there they were, back at the home, baring witness to the frazzled but otherwise energetic caretaker. The concern on Kei's face was as prominent as back then, but he tried to mimic the smile. "Hey Hiryu-san! Yeah, we're here again!" He clapped his hands then spread them wide a laugh. As if he knew what he was doing. Kei curled his fingers awkwardly. "Right- just point us to where you need us and we'll get to work!"junsuina

| [attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... "Splendid, splendid! Actually, there was a special task I was hoping you could help me with! You see, many of the children seem to have formed a gang." Jun blinked, looking back at Kei as she adjusted her bag, looking worried. "Gang? Like, a street gang...?"Miss Hiryu paused, thinking. "Well, a gang is not exactly accurate. A group? A club? They've formed something called the Knight's Brigade. You know, something devoted to truth and justice and all that. And in the process they've started to harass some of our latest arrivals." She clasped her hands together, smiling brightly. "Do you think the two of you can reel them in before something goes out of hand? There's one girl in particular-" There was an audible THUMP further into the building, causing tremors to reverberate in the room. Without a second through Jun tossed her back aside, moving through the door into the compound with the intent of tracking down the trouble. Though not without Hiryu trying to stop her: "Miss Kanjo, wait! Er...Mr. Hada, we recently got a troubled youth in her preteens and has bounced around several homes. We've agreed to take her in, only because it was either here or juvenile hall. Please, help diffuse the situation! I would hate for things to get out of hand..." Kei Hada |

Kei's brows furrowed and he glanced at Jun just as she looked at him. He mouthed at her silently. A gang? But oh, the caretaker was elaborating. Except it still didn't ease him in the slightest. The oldest kids in the club would be what- 12? 13? Hardly the age one should be serving justice in. And from the way Hiryu was describing it, he was right. They were only using it at as an excuse to be bullies. The thump made Kei jolt in surprise and he leaned against one of the chairs in the sitting area, fearing that he'd fall over from the tremors. When that didn't happen though, he could only watch in horror as Jun threw her bag and ran straight to the cause without a second thought. He called out at the same time Hiryu did. "Jun?!" He groaned. It's always the hero students who did this. It's a good thing he hung back, because now he knew they were going to deal with a kid who would've gone to juvie? For what crime exactly? His mind was already concocting the worse ones but like- it's just a kid. Surely he was overreacting again. Fearing for what they would find, Kei nodded at the caretaker instead of asked further questions. "Okay, we'll try!" And just in case, since he didn't need the mobility like she did, he picked up Jun's bag and followed after her through the door. junsuina

| [attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... The building itself was relatively square, but based on the tremor Jun figured it was coming from the west wing. Running through, she passed by several other caretakers as well as a few kids, all which would direct Kei once he came running by. Jun would pause, looking over the doors and piecing together that this was some kind of dorm. Made sense. And her intuition paid off, for another tremor started up only this time was above her. Looking around, she found a stairwell and darted up it, coming up nearly right next to a scene. There were five kids in total, three of them ducked down and cowering at some of the destructive power being used. A fourth was the little girl that played the prank on Kei and Jun the last time they were here, standing defiantly (though pale) against an older girl. This girl was obviously much older than the grade schoolers around her, obviously in her preteens. Her hair was partially dyed blonde, as indicative of her roots being a darker color. She was, for all intents and purposes, a punk. Seeing as how things could get out of hand very quickly Jun put her hands up, taking a breath. "Let's all calm down, alright? There's no need for us to fight one another..." It would at the very least give Kei the opportunity to catch up. Kei Hada |

"'Scuse us, thank you, I'm so sorry!" Was all Kei could repeat as he ran past the people so he didn't lose sight of Jun. Not that he would either way, the caretakers knew exactly where the commotion was so they were pointing at where he should go. They had to work under the same roof as it for who knew how long after all. And that was the sad part. They had to wait for a hero student to come by to resolve the situation, unused to dealing with it themselves. This was possibly the first time they took in a potential juvie kid. The thing was, Kei wasn't sure if he could do any better than they would've. He regretted coming back to the orphanage. Just a little bit. But it was too late to bail now. Before he knew it he reached the scene as well, spotting a familiar face standing between some scared kids and a stranger. The stranger had to be the new arrival. He hugged Jun's bag close to his chest as he looked between the two sides made. "Yeah guys. C'mon, what's up?"junsuina

| [attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... "Screw you, noobie, I don't have to listen to you!" She pulled what looked to be a marble from her pocket, holding it up as it began to glow. The girl prepared herself, and glancing up briefly Jun saw two craters on the ceiling. Explains all the debris, she thinks, positioning herself between the delinquent and the instigator. "Use your words. You're toting way too much power to-"This did nothing to dissuade the girl as she chucked the marble right at Jun. Thinking fast, she managed to put up a shield angled down the other direction, as to deflect the heat from the blast. Thankfully, it wasn't super potent, but it was enough to worry Jun. "Kei, I'm going to give you an opening, pin her arms!" The girl blinked, a frown crossing her face. "Hold on, I thought you high and mighty types say we can't use our quirks! What kind of hypocrite-" she let out a scream as her thought was interrupted. Behind her Jun had formed another shield, one just barely taller than her and mentally yanked it towards herself in order to scoop the girl up into it. She went from perpendicular to parallel with the ground in quick succession, and with it Jun called out: "Keep her from reaching into her left pocket!" Once things settled (and the girl stopped struggling) Jun would look over at the instigator, frowning. "you should probably tell us what's going on."Kei Hada |

The thing in the kid's hand was glowing. Okay. Okay yeah that's not usually good. And then she straight up threw the glowing thing, which made him duck out of instinct at the sudden bang from it. Was that an explosion? It was small but like, it would've exploded on Jun if she didn't block it? That was still dangerous!Kei straightened once the hero student called to him. "Pin her arms?!" Right, he was better at that than she would be. At least he didn't have to worry about his grip dissipating as time passed. "Right, okay!" He ducked again but for only a moment, letting metal arms eject from his pack to grasp onto the limbs of the girl, one for each appendage. And due to how Jun positioned her, the arms moved to hold the girl back against the ceiling. The ceiling? He looked up at her as he waved with a strained grin. "Hi... Sorry- can we not make things explode please? Someone could've gotten hurt."junsuina

| [attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... The girl let out a shriek as she was suddenly hoisted out of the makeshift stretcher and pinned up against the ceiling, first by her ankles which caused most of the contents of her pockets to fall out onto the ground; marbles, small pebbles, a bobby pin or two, and a metal pen. Once Kei had her completely in place Jun just looked up, dismissing the construct. "Not quite what I had in mind, but uh. Good job." At the very least she could focus on the instigator herself. "Hayami, what did you do?"The younger girl turned red, looking away. "I-I just wanted her to join the Knight's Brigade..." Jun nodded, frowning as she crossed her arms. "You shouldn't strongarm other people into joining things they don't want to do, or try to force other people to think the way you do. It isn't very nice, and could lead to problems just like this."Hayami blinked back tears, nodding as she looked down at the ground. "I'm sorry, Miss Girlfriend..."As Jun pinched the bridge of her nose regarding the lesser of two evils, Kei had the unfortunate task of dealing with the absolute storm above him. "Screw you, noob, I don't have to listen to you! You and everyone else here aren't strong like I am, you're below me! Hell, let me down from here, I'll kick both of your asses, just you watch!" Cool, okay! The pouring of things out of the girl's pockets was not intentional but it meant she would be out of things she could throw at them. Granted they were just little bits and trinkets but who knows- one of those things could've been dangerous. For a moment Kei smiled at the praise, proud that he did something good to help the situation. "Thank you!"Then he fully registered the first part of Jun's sentence, causing his face to contort to one of horror. "Wait, I wasn't supposed to do this?" He sucked air through his teeth in a hiss. God he was bad at this. But you know what, it's fine! Jun could handle the disciplining, though he thought she was going to direct her words to the explosive attacker. So colour him surprised when she spoke to the one standing in front of the scared kids instead. He recognized her even, from when they made those dolls. Shock was on his face when he questioned the girl. "Hold up, you're leadin' the Knight Brigade? Hiryu-san said you were harassin' the latest arrivals. Is it really just so they join your group?"Before he could ask more - and notice the Girlfriend thing didn't let up since the last time - the stranger above him was yelling to let her down. Which Kei couldn't do; her deliberately throwing bombs around was too dangerous. He looked up at her. "I can't do that. Not until we're sure you won't be hurtin' anyone." Maybe she'll calm down when she realizes there's no way for her to get out? So he simply placed his hands on his hips. Confidence in his gear was key. "Besides, if you're strong, you should be able to break free yourself."junsuina

| [attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... Kei's statement seemed to spark something in the girl, and she thrashed even harder against her restraints. "Just wait until I get down from here, I'm gonna shove my fist so far through your face-" and she'd devolve into various rabid noises. Jun looked up at the girl, then over at Kei. "Well...we can't keep her up there forever." She turned and dismissed the other kids, who began to scurry off. As they did that Jun began to pick up some of the things that fell on the ground; pebbles, a few marbles, other strange bits of brick-a-brack that she figured a boy would have. "Guess she's a...firecracker." It was a strange thing to see Jun try to insert comedy in a situation like this, but between Kei and this girl she figured some form of ice breaker was needed. A less explosive one. It seemed to work, too, as the girl just stopped, dumbstruck. "Are you making fun of me? You, an adult?" she scowled, and instead of thrashing started trying to strategically get free. "I'm gonna tell on you two, and then you'll get banned, and then you'll get arrested for using your quirks on kids!"Jun sighed, looking over at Kei. "Alright, I guess introduce her to gravity...I can take care of her if she gets out of hand again."Kei Hada |

Kei did his best to ignore the screaming from the girl above them, thankful his gear was as strong as it was to resist the thrashing. She wasn't getting out anytime soon, thank god. But he couldn't help but furrow his brow when the other girls were sent away. "You're lettin' them go?" Kei thought they had to do more than lecture the club on forcing others into things they didn't want to do, especially when their 'justice' had been a reoccurring thing. He trusted Jun's judgement though. Maybe her words were enough. Another hiss escaped him at her thought. She was right, the last girl couldn't stay on the ceiling forever, but he was still hesitant to let her down when she was still yelling. Though he let out a snort at the joke. "God that's so bad." And the girl seemed to agree. Kei looked up at her with a frown. He didn't like the idea of getting arrested, but surely what they did counted as self-defense? Besides, she was wrong about one thing. "Uh. This isn't my Quirk?" The support student tapped a metal arm. "I built this."His frown was then directed at Jun. "If you're sure..." He had a bad feeling about this but she did say she could handle it if things went wrong. So he did as he was told and set the girl down on the floor before releasing her to let his quarms retract into his pack. Now to see if things were gonna go wrong. junsuina

| [attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... Jun shrugged. "We should probably focus on one thing at a time. For now, we have a hornet's nest to deal with," she says, indicating the girl in front of them. And a problem she was intending to be, as the moment she was set down on the ground she fell on her knees, scrabbling for an object to use on them. As she picked up a pebble and began to cock her arm back, she'd be face to face with the barrel of an eight-pound cannon; it was something that Jun didn't really want to use, but seeing the color drain from the girl's face meant that there was going to be a level of progress. "Set it down, nice and gentle. You're a little older than some of the other kids here, and you should act as such." she sighed, looking over at Kei. "Let's start with some introductions. I'm Jun, a hero course student from UAU. This is my friend, Kei Hada of the support department." Looking up, the girl let the pebble drop to the ground without a shattering kaboom. Seeing this, Jun let the cannon vanish. "And you are...?" "Screw you!" She shouts, pointing at Jun. "don't pretend like you care for me!" "...I mean, I figured I'd ask you before I ask Ms. Hiryuu..." "One thing at a time. Gotcha." It made sense. The small group didn't put up much of a fight so they were let off easy. And surely they could find them again if they needed to. The "hornet's nest" on the other hand however? She was going to be a hassle. Especially since she was already searching for more ammo to throw at the duo as soon as she was let down. He should've seen that coming. Jun's heroic instincts made her quicker on the draw than him, which he was thankful for. What he wasn't as psyched about however was what she decided to do with her action. The preteen's face wasn't the only one drained of colour. "Jun?? What the hell?" came Kei's question. Because seriously, what the hell? He couldn't do anything but watch the one-sided stand off, stress-addled mind already thinking of the worst scenario: the girl throwing her charged stone in a panic and a hero-in-training pulling the trigger. Jun wouldn't do that of course. Then again Kei also thought she wouldn't be pointing barrels at kids. So what does he know, really? His relief was evident when both girls dropped their weapons. And once the anxiety lessened - only slightly, it's hard for him to relax in these things - he couldn't help but huff an incredulous laugh at the hero student's reaction to the girl's response. "Of course she's not gonna tell us who she is, you pointed a gun at her." He took a deep breath and let it out slowly. He was jumping to conclusions again. Kei turned to the preteen. "Sorry about that. I'm Kei. Hi." He raised a hand to wave and let out an awkward laugh. "I'm glad we got the Knights' Brigade off ya. We heard they've been harrassin' a lot of kids, so I hope they'll stay off your back now that we're here to deal with 'em." Now that he knew she didn't start the argument, it was easier to understand what caused her to act the way she did. It reminded him of someone else he knew. "Jun's right though. It's either we learn about you from you yourself, or from Hiryu-san. And really, I doubt she'd know more about you than you." junsuina

| [attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... Hearing Kei's reaction, plus the later jab, made her feel a bit uneasy. Did she take things too far? She started the hamster wheel, replayed the scene, and...okay, yeah, maybe it was a bit much. The guns were something she hoped she didn't have to use too often and hoped they could be a way to coerce cooperation, and in this instance it worked. It would be difficult to justify its use on a kid, though... Letting Kei take point for a little bit, Jun took a half step back and spun one of her rings. The girl, meanwhile, frowned, and got to her feet. "It doesn't matter. I'm not gonna be here for long anyways. You can take your well wishes and stick 'em!" She turned to march back into her room, and Jun began to move to stop her...but then remembered she did just threaten her life. So she did nothing; maybe Kei would have better luck, if he tried.
