終ノ空 Shion walked down the busy hallway that was lined with entrances to various rooms filled with sounds of machinery. It was honestly impressive how these support students managed to spend literal days in this building. You couldn't even pay Shion to live someplace this loud and. . . artificial. Even though the department was dwarfed by the number of students who wanted to be heroes, himself included, there were still more labs in this building than Shion could count. A room with what appeared to be a large mechanical arm, another room with four turrets encircling and flashing their targeting lasers at a large mirror, a room that had many jars full of orange liquid, a kitchen where people were just making cookies. . . And finally, the lab he was looking for. Toto was held tightly in both hands, their companion neglecting to look at them all that fondly today. A few weeks prior, Shion had managed to ask Sumi, one of the other students to try using Toto for one of her experiments. If it went well, he'd be able to keep the gear she was going to attempt implanting into his quirk. A knock rattled at the door to the lab, the guest of honor was here. Sumi Okita

[attr="class,"memoryDarkbody"]Like most support students part of Sumi's responsibility was having hours in the support lab where anyone could walk in and make a request. It was non negotiable as a result of attending UAU in the support class and while some people were basically dragging themselves to do this Sumi loved those open office hours. It was not only a good chance to socialize, but some of the requests she got were really challenging! The creativity of other students was really fun for her to see firsthand. So when Shion came with a request for something that could work with his quirk organically she was happy to help.

Having spent the last week trying to come up with different applications for what Shion requested and using scans she had taken of Toto to try and work out something that would suit the hero student. Glasses on and her hair tied back she was ready when the knock on the door came "Come in!" assuming Shion didn't hesitate to let himself into the lab she would greet him with a smile and direct him towards the table where she was set up. "So, it took a bit I've never made something for a quirk that has its own consciousness but I have a few things to try." she'd gesture to the three crystalline structures she had on the table with each of them being a different color. "Whenever you're ready, we can get to testing; one of those will surely work, I promise!"

終ノ空 "Thanks, Okita-san! You're the best!" Shion's shift in mood to accommodate his peer was immediate as he registered her presence. Instead of his current self, it was like not a day had passed since he had crashed into that yacht party. Toto, who had been carried into the room, was quickly laid onto the same table as the hardened chemical compounds like a body ready for autopsy. "We can start now." His eagerness masked by a casual tone, Shion put on a pair of safety goggles and rubber gloves. Procedures from science class in high school was still fresh in his mind. Thin fingers began sifting through the forest of bristles that were on one end of the creature's body, his movements not too dissimilar from a monkey looking for bugs in hair. "Those go in, right? Completely harmless to you or I since its specifically tuned for Toto's structure." she would hand the crystal to Shion assuming he accepted it. "Whenever you're ready! This first one is going to create an oscillating frequency that should work by disturbing the space around Toto....or it's going to make him shake like crazy until he spits it out.
