History.
Early childhood.
Kana only has faint memories of her Father, who was deemed unfit to raise a child by the system. She was adopted by her two loving mothers at age seven, all of them growing up to be a family over the years. Both her Mama and Mom supporting her in her dreams to be a hero, which Kana wanted to become in order to make a difference to the lives of those in less than fortunate situations.
Middle School.
Despite only having the mandatory control over her quirk required to graduate from quirk control lessons, she knows a lot about it through research and theorizing. That was when she decided to enroll in gymnastics at age 12 to further her goal of becoming a hero. It was through gymnastics that she met her first friend- an aspiring artist named Yuurin, who introduced her to the rest of the gymnastics team. Although it took some time for her to warm up to everyone, the group eventually became friends.
High School.
Continuing gymnastics, Kana and her team made it to second place in the Nerima City, Tokyo championships in the 10th grade. Her desire to become a hero only grew after Yuurin's dad was killed by a gang who mistook him for someone else. The group of friends sadly grew distance in their last years of high school as many of them withdrew from the team. Kana picked up a good training schedule by this time and was working out tri-weekly while tutoring middle schoolers in science for a bit of cash. She finished high school with advanced credits in biology, environmental science, mathematics, and history.

QUIRK DESCRIPTION:
The user can grow the aquatic plant known as Giant Kelp from their body and control it as if it were another limb. Growing the kelp requires water intake which is taken directly from her body's stores. After the kelp strand is grown, Kana is able to do many actions with them, including but not limited to the following used in her current fighting style:
> Forming a condensed fist surrounding her arm to enhance a direct punch. No stat changes happen. [Fist Form - Surrounding]
> Forming a condensed fist out of extended kelp. No stat changes happen. [First Form]
> Forming a rope out of extended kelp to immobilize enemies. No stat changes happen. [Reaching Rope]
> Grabbing onto a ledge of a building or another surface for further reach and mobility in parkour. No stat changes happen. [Name TBD]
> Surrounding (part of) her body in condensed kelp to protect from physical blows. No stat changes happen. [Algae Armor]
>> As long as the kelp is still rooted to the main body it stays functional and controllable, though after 4 hours of continuous use they fall off/dry up unless Kana is consciously pushing to extend the time, which will lead to severe drawbacks. With training, this limit can expand slightly.
>> The extended kelp limbs can grow as long as 35 feet and are most stable at the location of major joints. Kana can currently control 2 separately rooted kelp strands, as the concentration required is extensive to form shapes with them. Both limits can be improved with training.
QUIRK DRAWBACKS:
>> Kelp Control takes water stored in Kana's body and turns that directly into the controllable aquatic plant that makes up her quirk. If she pushes herself too much-- through making too much kelp or even keeping the same kelp limbs alive for more than 3 hours-- her body will suffer from dehydration which can in turn to lead to fainting. [In more serious cases, her quirk-induced dehydration can cause low blood volume shock and seizures]
>> Kana needs to passively hydrate more than most people even without the quirk active. The average adult without special quirk conditions needs to drink 9 (bio females) or 13 (bio males) cups of water. Due to her expanded circulatory system with more blood vessels, Kana must drink 15 cups of water as a base. The more controllable kelp she creates, the more water required.
>> The quirk is weak to dry, blistering hot weather, hot surfaces, and fire.
>> The quirk is also weak to bladed weapons.

SKILL DESCRIPTION: This ability allows the user to use their body in different ways than the average person. Acrobatics can help the user to contort their body to avoid attacks, to move differently, or even to get into positions they would be unable to otherwise. Due to Kana taking competitive gymnastics for over six years, she's gotten quite good at it.

SKILL DESCRIPTION: A medium sized, black backpack with a tube that connects to a water storage bag in the main pouch of the backpack. There is another slot fitted for keeping a first aid kit and any other items Kana may later bring with her. The bag itself is created in a way to minimize the sound it makes in movement.
