Despite this, most find him to be a very amiable and even friendly person, one who is honest and hides little to no secrets. In short, he is an open book.
While normally energetic and focused when pursuing a goal, left alone he is rather lackadaisical and mellow. If he does not feel stimulated, he will often times put in the bare minimum of effort to succeed, which more than one of his instructors has called "laziness." He is also very scatter-brained, the haphazard of thoughts, ideas, and plans that constantly rush through his mind leaving little room for much else, like remembering what he walked into a room for, or what he had for lunch the previous day. He tends to carry a small notepad to jot thoughts because of this.
He absolutely adores sandwiches, especially if they come with pickles. And if they don't, he will add a pickle onto it. An entire pickle. He dislikes tall people due to them constantly casting shadows over his work and looking down on him and hates heights because of how far down they are. But above all else, he hates boredom. He calls it the silent killer.
Bongosu can often be seen speaking out loud and is known to suddenly burst out into with phrases, no matter where he is, whether it be a classroom, bathrooms, on the sidewalk, or in mid coversa- "EXCELLENT! ONTO THE APPEARANCE!"

While other children played in the sandbox, he would conduct experiments using distilled elements from local sources, such as condiments and school supplies. After one too many of his 'experiments', his parents would decide it would be best to place him within a program more suited to children like him.
In this new environment, Bongo, as his classmates had become calling him, prospered, achieving high marks on exams as well as lessons. In middle-school, his father would obtain a promotion in his job that would see the family moved across the country. This presented a dilemma, as there were no comparable programs in that region for Bongos to attend and maintain the same path he was on. And so, his parents would decide to leave him in the care of his maternal grandmother, Omura Aoi, formerly known as the Shining Brillaince Hero, Integer. While under her care, she would tell him of the stories of her younger, more adventurous days. While not a real fighter, she assisted her peers with her mind instead, formulating gear and plans to help them win their battles and resolve conflicts.
This would leave a lasting impression on Bongo, one which he'd hold dear through the rest of middle school and into high school. By now having grown into something of an actual genius, both through natural talent and applied determination, he would begin a new master plan, to bring a new brilliance to his generation of heroes, as the new Integer.
But first, he'd have to graduate from U.A. University. And far, he's ticked off one year from that goal.

The clones are 1:1 copies of him upon creation, in terms of personality, and memories that he possesses. They act, think, and react just as he would in most situations. However, though they resemble closely, slight differences can be noticed that enables people who simply pay attention, or who know Bongoyashi, to guess who a clone is and who is the original.
He is able to make up to ten of these clones at a time, and cannot make more unless one is destroyed.
QUIRK DRAWBACKS: Bongosu's clones, while being copies, are wholly independent beings from him. They do not share a hive mind, nor any sort of telepathy or sense sharing. Information gleaned after their creation must be relayed between each other in conventional methods, lest it be lost upon their destruction. Which tends to happen quite frequently.
They are all rather fragile creatures, similar to the original. A hard enough punch or impact is enough to destroy one, after which it 'pops' into a cloud of smoke. Bongosu also cannot not rapidly replace clones once they are destroyed, as the creation of one takes some effort, maybe him extremely tired if done multiple times, back to back.
