Takamiya Hoshino is a spritely young lady with no abnormal features or mutations like some of her quirk-bearing counterparts might display. She is not overly colorful, nor is she particularly eye-catching. Her fair complexion, silvery hair, and blue-grey eyes blend into a backdrop well enough that the brighter, more unique individuals will easily overshadow her.
While she may not stand out in a crowd, that doesn't mean she isn't attractive. Hoshino has taken exceptional care of herself, so she remains very fit and mostly blemish free, not something that just anyone can claim. It definitely takes work, but it has paid off for her!
Hoshino is a lithe and spindly girl. There doesn't seem to be much to her but wiry muscles and attitude. She has long, slender legs and arms, a flat toned belly, narrow shoulders and hips, a slim waistline, a small, firm bottom, and a modest, yet shapely bust, many features which may be enviable, but generally not all at once. She just ends up looking a bit underwhelming and vulnerable to strong gusts of wind.
Hoshino's tendencies for her outfits bend aggressively towards showing off what she has, or in her case, doesn't have. She's prone to revealing clothes, even trimming her uniform to have as short a skirt as she can get while simultaneously raising the bottom hem of her top to the maximum allowed. Her daily wear isn't much different. Depending on who is giving their opinion, Hoshino might be considered far from genuine. She has assimilated a number of different personality quirks into her own, sometimes even large portions of personality types, and created a complex persona out of it. Even though Hoshino adopted these various traits and quirks, it is what she honestly likes or wants to be, so others might say she is genuinely living the way she wants to.
A large portion of her personality comes from her upbringing. As part of the Takamiya Group, she has been fostered for the business world, and can be exceptionally talented at hiding her emotions. Likewise, she is capable of adopting a very proper and businesslike mien that can allow her to integrate in that particular circle.
Another large portion stems from her family's history. The Takamiya clan was historically a shinobi clan, and though they are not actively practicing their shinobi ways, they do maintain the old traditions, teach the techniques, and make use of the teachings on a personal basis. Hoshino's desire to become a hero despite her obvious shortcomings undoubtedly stems from this aspect of who she is and what she has learned, especially since she uses her shinobi traditions in lieu of her quirk.
These create her surface layer. Hoshino often appears withdraw, disinterested, quiet, and calm. She goes about her day without creating waves and plays video games in her free time. It isn't anything too abnormal.
However, with the flip of a switch, the stuff that actually makes Hoshino who she is can come to the front. It's like an energetic, somewhat bombastic gamer otaku merged with a delinquent punk, or some sort of mainstream TV persona gangster, and somehow managed to not split apart at the seams.
What was once a rather composed and amicable young lady switches into a very aggressive, passionate, and focused girl who has a major rebellious streak, a serious lack of patience, a tendency to spout nonsensical, threatening phrases when confronted, and a problem whaling on gacha games.
She's not intolerable to be around, but it can be very jarring for those unfamiliar with her to run into Hoshino when she switches things up. Generally, it is triggered by something, such as frustration or a need to complete a daunting task, but once it does it sticks around for a while. This personality does tend to put her at odds with authority figures, and she has a major dislike of any such figures she views as impotent or corrupt. It is very likely she will get in trouble on occasion because of it.
Hoshino considers herself something of an artist and an individual of impeccable taste, and has been known to tag walls and other surfaces with spray paint when she is out and about. She has been scolded several times for it, but hasn't been in too much trouble to date.
Of course, her aggressiveness gets turned towards being a hero, or in her case, more of a vigilante. She may be in the hero student course, but she has no intention of waiting to learn before trying to make the world a better place. She doesn't put up with weakness, nor does she tolerate cowards, fools, or bigots. Hoshino ventures out into the night and tries to take on trouble makers (like herself) and generally gets into trouble doing so.
Hoshino is a little different than some heroes. She doesn't hold back, she isn't going to show any mercy, and she will use every tool at her disposal to win. She knows that she isn't like everyone else, and that most of the villains she will encounter will be superpowered by their quirks. The responsibility placed upon the shoulders of the youngster was great, and it necessitated certain things. Even as a toddler, Hoshino was surrounded by aids, effectively ladies-in-waiting, who waited on her hand-and-foot. They took care of everything she needed, but more importantly, they steered the development of Hoshino from a rambunctious child towards a more even-keeled and proper young lady.
Resistance was expected, experienced, but ultimately futile. Hoshino was not given the option to dissent or become her own person. She had a destiny, and that destiny was to take over the family business and lead it to greatness. If she wasn't ready, it would be a failure on her father, a shame on their legacy, and possibly devastating to a corporate empire.
To raise her as the proper young lady she needed to be, as soon as she was of age, Hoshino was sent to school, and not just any school, but the best school that money and influence could buy. Her father had a firm belief that education wasn't as important as connections, and perhaps there is some merit to that, too.
This elite and prestigious school served as a foundation for Hoshino that she'd benefit from going forward, and also served as a starting point for numerous friendships she'd have well into her later years - many of which could yield possible benefits for the Takamiya Group.
However, traditional education was not the only thing that Hoshino would learn. There were also the traditions the Takamiya family. Information, skills, techniques, and history needed to be preserved, and like the rest of her family, she would be taught. Hoshino would learn the ways of the shinobi.

It began mostly as conditioning. Physical attributes needed to be raised, as did mental fortitude. Without them, she'd find learning their methods too difficult. She took to the training well enough, and results were promising, so her father was pleased. He may have preferred a son, but in today's world, it didn't make so much of a difference. A successful daughter like Hoshino would suffice.
Her training soon began to evolve, and with it, so did she. She was no longer just some little heiress to the family fortune, all prim and proper, but someone on a journey to a complex existence fill with intrigue and danger.
One thing her parents underestimated, or did not account for, began showing itself around the time she was accepted into her high school. Hoshino had spent so long under the thumb of her parents that she never really figured out who she was. Unlike most other kids her age, she had no identity for herself, and so she began assimilating things around her that intrigued her and quickly, perhaps even haphazardly, wove a tapestry that would serve as her self.
Hoshino picked what was popular at the time, or whatever sparked her interest. It could have been anything, and sometimes, it was. She took up being a bit of an otaku. She found a fascination in anime and video games, two of her greatest passions to this day. She picked up manga and even started writing her own fan manga which helped develop some decent art skills which eventually translated into street art.
Where the otaku was often the passion or coolness of something found in hobbies and introverted activities, Hoshino's other side was quite the opposite. She also assimilated the delinquent, the troublemaker, the stand-out crowd. The ones who rebelled against society to make a name for themselves, the ones who stood up to authority and never bent or broke, the ones who presented themselves with extreme confidence and even aggression, asserting a type of dominance over others.
These aspects of Hoshino came together and created a rather eclectic and unique set of skills, hobbies, and interest. Art, music, sports, video games, fancy cars, motorcycles, and more. Everything blended together and by the time Hoshino graduated from high school, she had become almost unrecognizable.
It could have been a horrible development for many, but Hoshino's training from her youth persisted, and she could switch from one to the other in the blink of an eye. So, her father was not entirely dissatisfied. Hoshino was still a suitable heir. Hoshino, being quirkless, could have ended up that way. However, she had been empowered through years of psychological training to believe that she was just superior to others in some way, or, at a minimum that no one was better than her.
In a characteristically appropriate choice, yet an extremely unexpected one for her father, Hoshino applied to UA university. As someone without a quirk, she was immediately less capable of becoming a hero than others who had some useful super power. However, she had some things that other people didn't. She had a lot of money, influence, and connections to acquire numerous support items that could make up for her natural short-comings, and she had an innate fierceness and a suspicious willingness to endanger others (mostly villains).
By combining these things, Hoshino was able to use her ninjutsu training, a lot of explosives, and a healthy dose of tenacity to pass the entrance exams, joining a handful of other students in UA's illustrious history to prove that a quirk isn't necessary to become a hero.
Her methods and mentality, namely being less suited to the work, yet among the fiercest and most aggressive of her peers, led her to get the nickname Lemmings, which would become her hero name. Much like her, the actual rodent is a small, impotent creature willing to take on any threat despite being woefully inadequate to do so. The name has stuck, chiefly due to being quite appropriate.
Perhaps the success went to her head, or the desire to do good was already there, but Hoshino wasn't entirely willing to wait for her hero license to actually do hero work.
She gathered some friends, purchased an apartment nearby to use as a headquarters, and from there, operates as a rather unsuccessful vigilante while simultaneously attending UA University.
It has resulted in her getting in a bit of trouble from time-to-time, but thus far it hasn't been anything she couldn't talk, or bribe, her way out of. This isn't an outfit for the self-conscious because it shows a lot of skin. As the base layer, it uses a simple black sports bra and hot pants with fish-net cutouts on the sides. Hoshino then adds a white crop top tank top, a jacket, boots, and open-fingered gloves.
A number of smaller bits and pieces are added here and there for accents and aesthetic design elements, including a thin, flowing skirt-like strand of cloth and a longer tail on a cloth belt. Overall, she has nailed the cyberpunk ninja look rather well, and does so without drawing way too much attention to herself, except for those who gawk at this fit young lady.[/blockquote]

Each camera is a tiny thing, hard to spot on its own, but certainly not invisible. Hoshino has a tendency to "hide" them in little plushies crafted in her image.
To facilitate the control of the PreySense Suite, Hoshino uses a handheld device. It can be a bit of a cumbersome set up at times, but it greatly improves her ability to counter threats in an area she has established herself in.

Despite its rather ingenious engineering and self-reinforcing internal structure, Judgement is not as sturdy or stable as an actual, solid weapon and is therefore unsuited for certain tasks or lengthy engagements against particularly strong foes.

Like C4, it is very insensitive and difficult to detonate without a blasting cap or proper detonator, so when it is deployed it must also be given one. Hoshino's tape is designed to be innocuous and has a colorful, holo-foil backer on it.
As a shaped charge, it forces the explosion in a particular direction. Some rolls are shaped to go outward, and create an explosive wave while other rolls are the opposite, and are designed to cut cut or blast through things. Like C4, it is extremely good at that particular job, and a strip of ripper tape wrapped around something can slice it in half so long as it isn't too sturdy.

They are not overly dangerous, but they do pack a good concussive force. They can be thrown and detonated or rely upon a blasting cap to explode on impact. Though they do create a tiny bit of shrapnel, they are mostly used for concussive force and are certainly enough to disorient someone. If enough are used at one time, they can be very dangerous!

He keeps his attire simple and effective. Even though he prioritizes comfort above all else, he understands he can't walk around in a sweater and sweatpants 24/7. There's standards to society. That aside, he does the bare minimum. If you look at his closet he's a cartoon character. There's the same outfit multiple times in multiple colors. He'll mix and match at random and try to cross pollinate between get ups to make it look like he's trying. It gets the job done, okay...

Tabitha is exactly what one would expect from a self-proclaimed shut-in who also boasts about being the best occultic detective in Japan. Despite her somewhat crazed appearance and her less than perfect social standing, Tabitha is actually quite open-minded and pathological, which often leads to her growing on people who seem to have a high enough tolerance to put up with her random and sometimes inappropriate actions and comments. But a lot of her social issues stem from her being a shut-in. It is highly unusual for her to be spotted outside without being forcefully dragged out or given an intriguingly good reason to be outside.
Tabitha is also someone who loves to procrastinate for most jobs unless she holds a person requesting something at high speed. Her procrastination also feeds quite well into her patience, as it isn't unusual to see her staring at things or overexamining items or situations in the hopes that a far easier answer will appear over time. Her open-mindedness, along with her creativity, is also an additional motivation for her to continue to solve questions and puzzles. But because of how she often views things, it isn't uncommon for her to try her best to avoid openly close-minded people, as she finds them occasionally overly difficult to deal with.
Being into the occult, she has a few more hobbies that others may find strange, such as candle making, gardening, and even tarot cards, along with occult readings, of course. In all of these hobbies, she is highly interested, even enough to practice them alone by herself or even make candles and attempt to sell them to others with the belief that certain scents would ward off evil spirits and bring good luck.
But much like everyone else, she has things that tend to make her shy away from situations, one of which is overly bright lights, which has been assumed to be a side effect of her shut-in lifestyle and the general lack of natural and bright lighting. She also prefers quieter areas, finding it much easier for her to focus on her task at hand when she finally decides she needs to finish a task without being forced to do so.
In terms of love, Tabitha tends to let the spirits decide for her as well as inspecting the best possible quirk to match with her own in the hopes of creating the perfect occult detective to further propel their family into the spotlight. She is also well known to be clumsy, often tripping over sidewalks, overly focusing on things and people, and walking into poles or walls. It is also important to note that she has somewhat of a quirky sense of humor, which can often be mistaken for debauchery.

Born to a pair of mixed-race parents, Tabitha has been surrounded by strange dealings. At the time, both her parents were wildly interested in the paranormal; their first meeting happened at a convention dedicated to the otherworldly. Her birth was not initially planned but greatly welcomed, as she would be the first child born into a family, which some people believe would never have any offspring to continue their line.
Where most children growing up were ready for fairy tales for them to dream of becoming princesses who were saved by gallant knights, Tablitha was read occult stories about how to not only spot the supernatural but how to defeat them. Even in the world of quirks, these lessons would be slightly effective, something she mistook for the stories of the occult being true.
Her family often traveled from place to place, not only to attend meetings and conventions but also to take odd jobs that other people wouldn't bother with. While out and about, they often took the time to collect knowledge as well as learn the necessary skills to upkeep and even create nifty gadgets and weapons to subdue the otherworldly, which many people would begin to believe were simply early signs of quirks, but her parents knew better.
They would eventually pass on their knowledge to their children. At the time, she was young, but she also picked up the information very quickly, even adding small spins to make everything a bit of her own. A skill she would continue to use to help upkeep her strange but manageable lifestyle.
Her family met many along the way and built bonds with plenty of people, even enough to get Tabitha into a manufacturing program, from which she graduated quickly, and enough to get a low-level manufacturing job creating hero equipment.
Of course, her family's lifestyle had rubbed off on her, and in spite of her quirk, they only believed in the occult more, which also forwarded her own beliefs. It didn't take long for her to begin to work along side her peers as initially a secretary—humble beginnings for someone who would eventually brand themselves as one of the greatest occultic detectives.
Her time was spent in the shadows of her family, which would often allow her to watch but never participate in their many adventures. But as she watched, she would often take notes, keeping track of everything she could and saving every penny she could get her hands on until the day she had made enough to move out and attempt to make a living on her own.
Tabitha's destination? In Japan, the partial home of one of her parents, she took the opportunity to move in with her distant family, not only learning the language but also how to live every day as an adult away from her parents. Her life was fairly simple—as simple as a life with quirks could be. She tried her best to refrain from her occult stories and lessons learned from her parents.
Picking up a job at a local hero agency as a secretary, yet again, her life was good. In her small town, she would hear stories of things they couldn't quite explain, even with quirks and repeated strange occurrences. She would try her best to keep her occultic curiosity under wraps, but eventually it would find its way to the surface.
Spending all of her savings, she would buy a two-story building with a small shop and office on the first floor and a home on the second to open her own occultic detective agency to help keep Japan safe from all the things the public believed to be fiction.

Because of her quirk, she acts as a magnet to the spirits, drawing them in and allowing her to use them in interesting ways, such as binding the spirits to others to gift them boons or hinders, which she refers to as charms or hexes.
[ul type="disc"][li][b]Ghostly Warnings:[/b] Tabitha's quirk also allows her to hear the voices of these nearby spirits. The voices will actively alert her to danger, although the direction of the oncoming danger is unknown. But this ability isn't perfect and can be set off falsely if emotions are running high.[/li][li][b]Ghostly Passing:[/b] Tabitha is able to change her body, mimicking the spirits. This makes her intangible, allowing her to move through objects.[/li][/ul]
[b]QUIRK DRAWBACKS:[/b] When binding spirits to targets, she is only able to increase or decrease one attribute per binding, its bonus or relinquishment matching the rank of her quirk. She cannot bind an infinite number of spirits to multiple targets; her maximum number of targets to bind is two, typically using one for herself and one for another person. The binds also last a total of two posts before needing to be reapplied.

I am someone who hates the spotlight, but loves to help up-and-coming heroes. I try to be kind, and encourage those around me to do their best regardless of the circumstances. A lot of this stems from my short-lived time as a pro. Some of my students find me a bit odd at times, because I'm as much of a fanboy as some of the kids. I can spout facts about famous pro's like it's nobodies business and I tend to get overly excited at my students various quirks! How could you not? They've all got the coolest abilities!
Rookies are the best.
I am however, a bit of a perfectionist. Whether I'm working on myself, or a students progress. Everything has to be perfect, I expect no more and I expect no less than perfection. Of course, perfection doesn't happen overnight. But by the time you're ready to collapse at the end of the day, you can rest assured you won't have so much as a step out of alignment. Sometimes it can be a bit too much, and I'm learning that. But it's just how I've always been.
Much like any hero though, I aim to be as good as possible. Villains, bullies, cruel individuals tend to boil my blood and get me riled up. I won't hesitate to knock such people down a few pegs and it can get me in a bit of trouble sometimes because I tend to not have much of a filter when it comes to them. Oh well, nothing wrong with being honest in my opinion.
That's kind of my feelings in a nutshell! I can be a bit of a dork. I'm high motivated and I live for student successes! So I look forward to seeing what the students of UAU bring to the table!

Is he a boy? Is she a girl? If you look at me and have to ask yourself these questions, then I've groomed myself immaculately. I would say my appearance is heavily androgynous while leaning on the more feminine side of things. Why? Because I can. Who doesn't like lustrous long hair? Glowing skin? Blame my mother for the feminine facial structure and high cheekbones though, can't craft that sort of feature in the bathroom!
Anyways. I'm Sayori. I've got mid-back length burgundy hair, naturally colored. I'm not a fan of dying it unless I'm feeling experimental. I've got fair skin and while I'm a bit on the shorter side, I make up for with with my giant personality. Or at least I try to. Maybe I'm overcompensating? Do I have a height complex?!
Getting off track here. I've got Fuschia eyes which nobody in my family knows where they came from. It's not a trait that runs in my family and neither of my parents had even a remotely similar color. Guess that makes me unique in my family line. Kind of like red hair being genetically passed along and resurfacing a dozen generations later.
Overall, I'm fairly well muscled. I keep in good shape but I don't go overboard to the point where I'm all rippling and gross muscles. I keep fit, but not like...overly fit. Have you SEEN some of those bodybuilder? They look like someone jammed a bunch of bowling balls together and painted them skin color, nooooo thank you. Not that I'm judging, to each their own. But it's not for me. I prefer athletically soft, I guess most things about me are pretty soft. Except my punches, beware!
What else do I add here? I've got a tattoo of a pegasus on my left shoulder, but nobody really knows about that. Except you. If you tell anyone...I'll stare at you grumpily like a dog who got too little food! Punk.

Well! Where to begin? Should I start with my mysterious past? Or perhaps my dark brooding upbringing? Let's go with neither, because that's not me at all. I was actually the product of a quirk marriage. Yeah yeah, I know. Morals and all that. I don't agree with it either, but if it hadn't happened I wouldn't exist and it's also part of the reason I'm a bit estranged from that part of the family. But not the other parts. I've always been close with most of my family whom didn't go against my own morals.
So! I grew up in a fairly wealthy household. One that was paid for by the quirk marriage. Ah yes, the act of selling oneself to stay afloat. Gross. Anywho! My childhood was good, not what you'd expect in a wealthy family. I was raised with a gentle but firm hand that allowed me to explore my passions and develop how I wanted to within reason. It's how I ended up becoming such a fan of heroes. People who spent their lives putting themselves on the line and changing the world for the better. Oh! And they had super cool quirks! Gosh, my room was SO full of action figures, news clippings and memorabilia. I'm pretty sure my parents haven't changed it since I moved out all those years ago.
So yes, I grew up as a huge fan of heroes, aiming to be one when I got older. I worked my butt off. From Martial Arts to attending UAU and finishing at the top of my class. It was time to get out into the world and be the hero I wanted to be...
...And I hated it.
I know. That sounds terrible. Let me explain. I didn't hate the part where I got to help people, or stop a villain. I didn't hate collaborating with other heroes in emergency situations. I loved all the actual stuff that came with Hero Work. What ruined it for me, was the media. Camera's in your face every time you save someone. A ratings system to determine who was the most popular hero. Paparazzi trying to snap pictures of my perfect arse every chance they could. Kidding, I don't have a perfect arse. But the snapping pictures thing is true! I loved being a hero, but hated the spotlight that came with it. Just let me save someone and slip away with a smile. But no, heroes have to put on some stupid pedestal and paraded around like circus animals.
So I quit per-se. I didn't announce my retirement, heck I even still have my pro license to this day. But I decided that my time could be better spent fostering the next generation of heroes rather than existing alongside the current generation and all it's media attention. I took a job at my alma mater and have been happy since! There's something special about seeing the potential that students hold, knowing that the world will be in their hands and I can make a difference by helping push them in the right direction, the path I refused to walk.
I do resurface once in a while in the hero world. But not in any significant way. Rescue a cat from a tree, blast a thief off his feet, and then I walk away. Unless there's a big crisis, I'm content to stay where I am happily existing. In retirement. Sort of.

...Is what I'd totally say if I was a villain. But alas, that's not me. At all. In fact, I'm more likely to confuse you with the fact that I occasionally speak in a rather archaic form of English and Japanese. I say thou and art a lot. But don't blame me! Blame the fact that I was stuck in a simulated universe for almost thirty years that was more fantasy land than it was real world. One would think my old man would have thought about that. Maybe he didn't have time or something and thought I'd enjoy the fantasy world? Sorry. Guess I'm kind of rambling here.
Let us move on to me as a whole! I am...uh. Boy. It's hard to break your personality into words isn't it? Is it selfish or vain to say I am kind and try to be nice to everyone I meet regardless of their walk of life? Or to say I'm determined and would happily spend a day trying to encourage someone who is having a hard time? Maybe. But that's me I guess. Ever since I was able to help people I've always been the type to do so. I'd give my last dollar to someone even if it meant I didn't eat that night, the bullies took advantage of that a lot when I was in high school. But, in a way I figured at least one of them was eating well because of me so I could live with it.
Despite my, let's call it, affliction. I try to make sure that every moment of my life has meaning. When you can literally see your own clock counting down, it makes sense to try and fill that time with as much as possible. I work myself so hard because I want to leave a mark on this world before I'm gone. Not a scar, but a legacy that people can look back and smile at. Like some of those incredible silver age heroes. It's why after all these years I decided to attend UAU.

Alright! Not sure why I'm describing my appearance on this application thing, but I'll give it a shot! In Japan, I am considered a giant. Standing at 6 foot on the nose, I'm well above the countries average. Likely something to do with my heritage, a lot of people in my family are pretty tall! Though not Satori, he's like 5'2". He gives the best hugs though. Anyways! I'm a healthy weight for my age and I've got shoulder length soft pink hair. It's ALMOST pastel, but not quite. I've thought about growing it longer but I don't know. I'll ask my hair stylist next time I see her.
I've got Light Blue and Fuschia eyes. They're two-toned and the best reasoning the doctors were able to give is that they were damaged by a small chemical leak when I was in stasis, though with how long I was under they had time to heal properly so luckily my vision hasn't been affected!
I guess I'll move onto the obvious though. I've got a crazy tattoo on my right arm. It's made up of layers of symbols from my wrist to my shoulder. It's kind of a living tattoo, with each layer of symbols denoting a unit of time. From seconds to years. This is related to my quirk but it also serves as a constant remind that we only get so much time in this world, so make the best of it.
But yeah! That's my general appearance in a nutshell. I've got a nice bum and some athletically toned arms from archery but you don't wanna know that, do you? Perv.

An audible click followed by the crackle of static echoed through the fairly empty room. There was nothing in here except a projector hooked to an older looking computer, and a chair. On the opposite side of the room a video crackled to life. A japanese man with a smile that could light up a room. He had hair of dark pink and white swirled together and after a moment or two of playing with the camera he nodded, "There we go." He turned the camera around to focus on a young girl with pastel pink hair sitting at a table in a garden, scribbling on a piece of paper. In the background it sounded like explosions were happened every few moments, plumes of smoke were visible over the gardens fence.
"A completely innocent creature. Born in a time when the world has barely scraped the surface of these...quirks. You'd think that when given superhuman abilities, the world would change for the better. And maybe it will. There's just as much good as there is bad and the government has no clue how to handle it all---"
"Papa! Come look at my picture..." The young girl said, waving an arm at his camera, a series of moving tattoo's swirled on the skin of her arm. The man behind the camera sighed and the picture clicked off leaving the screen black for several long moments. After about thirty seconds it came back on. The man was sitting in a chair with the young girl sleeping in his lap. He looked exhausted, behind him the telltale flickering of flames could be seen though no fire was visible.
"This is not the world I wanted to raise her in. Without a mother, without a place to grow up safely. The world is in flames. But, I think...I've found a way to save her. A way to make sure that she gets her chance to light up the world." He looked to the side where a blackened room sat, a series of wires leading into it.
"A way to preserve her. Until a better future. The only thing is that in doing so, I'll never see her again. But what's missing out on her life, in exchange for making sure she gets a chance at a life?" The man reached up, running his hand over the hair of the sleeping girl. THe man picked up a remote and pointed it at the screen which flickered and went black again.
When it came back, the young girl was sitting on a padded seat. Several wires and IV tubes were attached all over her body. A series of wires protruded from her back as if they'd been attached to her spine. The girl was flexing her fingers a little, "I...It hurts Papa." The man came into view of the camera holding what looked like a helmet except it looked like it would enclose someones head fully. No visor. No anything.
The man crouched down and looked at her, "I know sweetie. But the pain will go away soon. I promise when you wake up after our little test here, you'll be free from the pain and be allowed to play all day ok?" The girl nodded, putting on a rather brave face and leaning back. The man smiled and lifted the helmet, "Now. Deep breaths and relax." He placed the steel helmet over her head and pressed several buttons on the interface built into the side of it before attaching several tubes and wires to the back.
He pressed one more button and the screen went black, flickering back to life with the camera sideways and the man standing over the chair, now with a protective perspex casing around it. The chair was hooked to hundreds of machines in the room as the man ran his fingers over the glass, his daughter laying there, lost in the world the machines had pulled her into, "I love you my Daughter. When you wake, know that I love you. Know that this was done only because I love you."
An explosion was heard and the whole room seemed to shake. A snake of shadow swirled into life around the mans right arm while a snake of light did the same on his left, "Time to make sure you survive." He leaned down and turned off the camera one last time which a sharp squeal.

29 Years Later

In the countryside there was a monument that had stood for forty years. The statue of a young girl who looked completely at peace as she reached towards the sky. The monument had no words. Nobody knew of it's origin. Only that people came far and wide to admire the long stretching fields of flowers that surrounded it. A great battle had been fought here many years ago, a small village had been levelled and lost to time. Now reduced to no more than this monument and the flowered fields. Some said the flowers each represented one of the souls lost in that battle during the vigilante era years ago. Beauty to represent the dead.
But the truth of the place was deeper than that. Deeper of course meaning underground. Fifty feet below the monument in a chamber lit only by the flickering lights of hundred of machines. The hiss of air exchangers, the beeping of monitors and...the sound of a drop of water dribbling endlessly from a small crack in the ceiling. The room had been designed to last decades. But much like anything in the world, Mother nature had worked her tendrils into the space. Moisture and roots had long since caused a hairline crack in the roof of the two foot cement chamber. A single drop of water falling endlessly upon a series of cordage leading to one of the many machines.
It took years, but eventually that drop had made it's way through the cord. Had set off a series of failsafe's and for the first time in forty plus years, the voice of the five year old girl came from her lips. The helmet on her head crumbled away and she was left shivering on the strange chair as light flooded the room and red lights and alarms flashed.
"P...Papa?!" Came her voice, hoarse from years of not being used. Panic set in quickly as she yanked herself from the chair, needles tore from skin, metal housings popped from her spine and while the pain was excruciating the adrenaline injected from the machines to wake her kept her going. She didn't remember much from that day. Somehow she'd made it to the steel doors that slid open with a hiss, somehow made it up the stairs as the second set of doors pushed open, through years of earth and roots, forcing themselves open and letting daylight rush in with a loud 'Whoosh'.
She never forgot the smell of those flowers for the first time. That first breath of air in many many years.
The place was a tourist attraction, so when a girl, covered in blood with wires hanging off every inch of her body stumbled through the fields of flowers, staining them red, was seen. Things went into motion quickly. Police were called, Heroes arrived and she was whisked off to a world completely unlike her own, a world nearly three decades into her future.

2084. That was the year that I woke. The year I realized everything I'd ever known when I went to sleep was gone. No father to speak of, No home, No family. Only an endless series of scientific studies from the time I woke at six years old until I was ten and finally injected into the foster care system after spending five years as a lab rat. Now, in Japan. It's not often that children in foster care get adopted and I wasn't the most appealing case given the lack of medical records, and my very depressed personality even at ten years old. But unlike many, I got lucky.
Keiko Hayashi. A single mother, who wasn't able to have children. She'd taken me in. Taken the lost little girl and given her a home and it's where I spent my life right up until the day I decided to attend UAU. If it wasn't for her and her family, I'd have been no better than the other lost children. She made me the woman I am today and while I carry her name, the one I was given by the doctors when I was first discovered has stuck more. My name is May Hayashi. Or as everyone calls me, May Twenty-First, the day I woke and joined this strange new world.

But it also takes away from her remaining 'time', denoted by the multilayered tattoo on her right arm with sections denoting years, months, days, hours, minutes and seconds. Overuse of her quirk can also exhaust her to the point of collapse. At her current level she is only able to use up to 10 minutes of time without completely exhausting herself and passing out.

Kenpachi's personality can be summed up in two words. Loyal Wolf. She is without a doubt one of the most beneficial people to have on your side of things however the second that her loyality is betrayed or if you think about stabbing her in the back she has a habit of being even worse for y ou than whomever you had been using her to go on. She's fiercely intelligent and tends to keep herself covered on many aspects, ranging from finances to food to friends or family. She thinks back frequently to a time where her strength meant everything and her mind was just a perk of the job she was on.
She tends to keep things simple and prefers black and white situations over those that require too much thought. She harbors a healthy respect for heroes and villains and their willingness to commit to their roles but she has always felt that her purpose was to stay away from either.

Icebreaker is what one would call amazonian. She is muscular, fairly well trimmed and good looking. Keeping her fur well groomed from head to toe in such a manner where it assists in her muscle definition. The only parts of her that are excessively furred is her mane around her neck and shoulders, her long lucious locks of hair and the end portion of her floating tail which is more like a long flowy feline of sorts.
Aside from that she is often seen wearing golden shackles and a large sturdy collar with chains for some reason she refuses to elaborate on. Mostly to go with the blacks and blues that she deigns to wear to sort of offset them. Her eyes are shaped like omega symbols and they are a shocking frozen blue. Her tail is broken into two separate sections, the long flowy bit and the connecting rings.
The ends of her hands and her legs end off in pads and claws. The latter of which seem to look razor sharp but she keeps them blunted to a degree to avoid... Incidents. The last thing that is on this long list of oddities is that of her smile, perpetual and well kept her pearly whites are one of the few things that she enjoys showing off.
Underneath her golden metal collar is that of a nasty scar that goes from one side of her neck to the other. In a likely attempt to kill her it instead has rendered her... Completely mute.

Kenpachi Beifong.
Born to a single mother, quickly abandoned by her mother due to her mutant genes she was found by a pair of well meaning monks. They believed that her apperance was that of a test to them and they desired to bring her in the world as a caring individual. They failed in some degrees but succeeded in bringing her up in such a fashion where she was kind hearted in some ways.
Others she was more cruel than the world that looked on her so harshly. She didn't like the temple, didn't like all of it's ways. She was young, foolish and brutish. Eventually desiring to leave the temple, to strike out on her own in a hard world. Her 'parents' didn't tell her no and wished her well. Understanding that she needed to grow.
What Kenpachi didn't know is how harsh the world was to those unprepared, brutalized, beaten, starving. She resorted to petty thefts to get by, stealing bits and pieces to make a whole. It took her years before she stole from the wrong person.

Impressed that she would even try to steal from them, they instead inducted her into their local group. Punishing her for stealing from them by making her work for them in varieties of ways. Teaching her the ins and outs of the area in the meantime. It took years. Years she had plenty of. Her 'boss' was also a practicitoner of the old blade; one that he willingly [and monetarily] would teach Kenpachi. If she antied up, he'd extend her a lesson or two.
Time passed, things grew more difficult but also easier in a sense. She was older, stronger, wiser. Probably a little too hot headed. Lashing out at places that didn't need it; gaining attention from all the right people. Or all the wrong people in some cases.
Barely in her twenties she struck out a third time, hurt the wrong person. Got more of a punch from that then she expected. Her sword that her 'master' passed down to her broke in a fight. Her 'enemies' thought to try to slash her throat. Leaving her to bleed out in the middle of an alleyway. Not realizing she could generate ice she managed to halt the flow and get to a hospital.
They couldn't save her vocal cords even if they could save her life.
The same people that attacked her went to her boss, to her friends. What little 'family' she had in a sense. Killed them with her own weapon. Broke it a bunch of different times too. You'd think that the cops would have put two and two together that she wasn't the one that did it.
But money talks more than she could and instead of a trial that made sense to her. Instead she was cast into prison to waste away for the rest of her life. It was only because of a detective looking to get revenge on the opposite family that she was even given a second chance.
"It doesn't add up, she was in a hospital when they were killed"
Was the only line from law enforcement that she ever cared to hear. A judge that wasn't on the payroll of the other family ended up pardoning her. Returning her her things, a hearty sum of money as an apology and... The broken blade that stole her friends, her family and her boss away.
Ten years in prison that yielded nothing but bitterness, a desire for revenge and a hearty appetite.
The first thing she needed to do other than establish a little bit of territory was... get some friends. Some likeminded people. ANd maybe... Just maybe. She could find the people that ruined her life and... well ruin theirs.

Bean goes about day to day life with a carefree enthusiasm that is easy to mistake for being on a perpetual sugar rush. She doesn't get bogged down in what-if's, maybes or should-haves and even when things go wrong she is quick to bounce back or let it roll off of her like nothing happened. This can sometimes give the impression that she doesn't take things seriously or doesn't value the feelings of other people. In truth, she just is a naturally positive person that has a hard time dwelling on the negative or bad feelings at all and tends to forget that other people don't work the same way she does in that regard. Add in the fact that she often doesn't really even understand why something might be bad or the potential consequences that could happen and even when she's trying her best to take a situation seriously she still ends up coming across as an optimistic airhead that gets herself into trouble.
Mistreating people and especially her friends is a quick way to actually piss her off and when properly motivated she is just as willing to throw down as anyone else - even if it means getting beat up. However, in most situations if she can avoid a fight she'll use whatever bribery or tricks will work without even the slightest hint of shame. She is self aware about being an airhead and is fond of calling people out for being tricked by one whenever they try to pull a moral high ground on her.

Thanks to her Quirk, Bean looks a lot different than she used to and sometimes changes up small features about herself - most commonly trading eyes with someone to change eye color. She usually doesn't change anything about her actual build as she is fond of how she is now: short with a hourglass build and short hair with a perpetual case of bedhead. She also has seam-like lines along one arm and leg and around her neck, along with large staple-like pieces of metal, that seem to be a visual manifestation of her Quirk - even if she trades pieces of herself for someone elses these always appear in the exact same places on whatever her current parts are. Bean like all members of The Hummingbirds has a tattoo of a hummingbird, in this case on her left shoulder.
Bean carries herself with an upbeat and casual confidence, often bouncing about when she walks or talks or even standing still and could rarely be considered to actually be 'still' in any real sense at all. She is always moving her arms this way and that, and is comically prone to quite literally losing her head in her more scatterbrained moments.

Who Bean's parents were, or why Bean ended up alone in the streets one day as a toddler, is completely unknown. Maybe they died tragically in some kind of incident Bean can't remember, or maybe it was a sad case of being abandoned intentionally. No matter what the cause, a member of The Hummingbirds came across a lost, exhausted and starving boy that couldn't even speak coherently yet. While most children in situations like that ended up being sent to orphanages, The Hummingbirds ended up raising the boy themselves. They taught Bean how to talk, and even a little bit of reading and writing, and came up with the name 'Bean' - although back then it was 'Lil Bean', a nickname that still gets used by the more affectionate members of The Hummingbirds... and sometimes by enemies trying to be mocking. Growing up, Bean was a bit strange compared to many orphans because he never questioned who his original parents were at all. As far as he was concerned The Hummingbirds were his actual, one and only family and that was plenty for him.
Instead, a lot of his childhood was spent idolizing the older members - in particular @eiji despite being the older of the two - and wanting to find some way to be useful to the gang. He was usually told 'when you get older' and things like that, but being useful to the gang actually came a lot sooner than anyone would have expected once Relove Relax revealed itself. Even though it couldn't do very much at first, being able to take things apart and put them back together at a touch was an incredibly useful skill and it was almost a given from that point onward that Bean was destined to be their mechanic. It didn't take long for Bean to discover there was more to his Quirk than taking apart and putting together objects, learning that it could be used on himself and other people - thankfully safely and without the horrifying results that taking someones arm off would normally have. As Bean got older, he privately struggled with questions of who he was and other difficult subjects until one day realizing that some of the people he idolized were more in the 'I want to be' way than anything else. Around this time, Bean came across and ended up becoming friends with a girl that was endlessly curious about what his power could do until eventually asking about swapping pieces of bodies permanently. It was a scary experiment, with lots of trial and error, but after succeeding Bean has since fully embraced living as a woman and finally feels more at home with and confident in herself.
Currently she still works as The Hummingbirds mechanic and is just as much a member of the gang-family as ever, and known as the Left Talon of the Hummingbirds due to her help supporting the group - a title that often gets misunderstood by outsiders as implying she is dangerous or some form of enforcer. As a way to help people, she has taken to using her Quirk as an unlicensed service to assist people with various bodily issues be it prosthetics or swapping things around, and her primary motivation is making people as happy with themselves as she is with herself.

[b]QUIRK DESCRIPTION: [/b]Relove Relax generates a visible field around Bean, roughly arms length on either side and as tall as Bean is, that allows her to manipulate connections between physical objects through touch. This works on anything solid and Bean can choose to disconnect an object from itself, connect two different ones together, and reconnect objects in different ways than they originally started - such as swapping someones arms and legs with eachother. This Quirk is completely nonharmful even though it looks like things are being cut apart, mostly good for crafting or 'surgery', and disconnected parts are protected to a degree: a disconnected heart would not have the fragility of a heart removed through other means, though it is not impervious to damage either, and would continue to function and keep the owner alive despite being seperated from the body. Disconnected parts are still linked to eachother even when placed far apart or in different orders than they were originally and parts capable of movement are still capable of moving after being affected by this Quirk.
[b]QUIRK DRAWBACKS: [/b]Being touch reliant makes Relove Relax bad at handling anything from a range and has no effect on 'intangible' things such as the different types of energy, and similarly cannot affect gases or liquids - it has to be at least an amorphous solid like glass to count. While this Quirk is able to reorder things like putting a wheel on the roof of a car or an arm on someones back, it cannot change the actual composition of the things it is working with - Bean can change where the fingers are on a hand, but they'll always be those specific fingers. Same-thread usage of this Quirk can be undone by negation of the Quirk itself, a strong 'Presence' combating the effects of the Quirk, and for living creatures simply expiring over time unless whatever effects were done are considered desirable by the target. Overusing Relove Relax causes Bean to randomly fall apart until she can rest and recover.

[u]Belief, drive.[/u] Aiden Markusson is a man of power and deceit. In a world becoming more and more full with extraordinary people, those who can bend the world to their will with a thought, he is hellbent on acquiring and maintaining as much power as he can. facade is a snake among flowers, with the belief that if he can not sway others with charm, then subterfuge can be just as effective. He collects favours and blackmail like memorabilia and manipulates anyone he can to do the things he can't (often paying off quirkers as security or to do his dirty work). This may seem to be the result of paranoia or megalomania, but ultimately it's a misguided survival response. Aiden knows his strengths, knows that powerful people will always take the world from the powerless, and knows exactly what he needs to do to ensure he's one of them.
[u]Actions, words.[/u] Outwardly, facade seems very straightforward. He is a smiling businessman, open about what he wants and what he can give. He will start a conversation laying out the rules of engagement. Aware of his leverage to the point of stating it to his enemy's face. In this respect, when Aiden can get what he wants with money or threats, he will be honest. When he can't, he will lie. Taken off-guard or presented with someone of a similar mind to him, facade will bluff with a stone face or a scowl. His pleasure is known, his displeasure is hidden. Fangs hidden in the smile. As far as how Aiden treats others beyond honesty, he is usually fairly diplomatic. While he will make his goal explicit, facade knows that other people are best enticed with their goals. Convince people ideas are their own. Misdirect anger and blame. Gaslight. Never play fair. Treating others with compassion is for heroes and fools.
[u]Cracks, blemishes.[/u] This is not to say that Aiden is some perfect mastermind, though. He is overanalytical, obsessing over innocent details as if they suggest danger. He is craven, backing down or fleeing if he cannot guarantee his own safety or if confronted by legitimate threats/intimidation himself. Most of all though, Aiden Markusson is prideful. He overestimates his own intelligence and cunning greatly, being susceptible to the same kind of 'diplomatic' plays he himself employs. If someone were to catch him in a trap, especially one of his own devising, facade would crumble, powerless. Without his influence, without bodyguards to hide behind or idiots to puppeteer, he is nothing. The second mask slips to reveal true vulnerability.

There are two sides to Aiden Markusson: the mask and facade. The two have drastically different demeanours and fashion senses, so let's detail them separately.
As Aiden Markusson (known online as AidM), the public co-owner and CTO of a couple of tech startups, he never appears in public without either his mask (a black studded half-mask with an 8-bit display over the eyes) or significant (prosthetic) alterations to his face, sometimes including scars or facial tattoos. This outfit also often includes a black leather jacket with a cloth hood (so as to further obscure his head), with various patches/pins of whatever punk, progressive and/or sci-fi things that are trending at the time. In this more public appearance, Aiden is very introverted and reserved. He speaks quietly, or not at all, and avoids eye contact, preferring to stare at the floor or some other tech project of his. He's humble, downplaying achievements and praise. His body language signals social anxiety and discomfort with being the center of attention. This is facade's greatest deception, an intentional effort to garner sympathy and an air of benevolence by masking his more openly sociopathic and selfish tendencies
Behind the false face and false heart, facade's appearance is comparatively very plain. Almost always dressed in casual wear, with mostly unremarkable hoodies and tracksuits save for a couple bearing horror/sci-fi graphics or pop culture hacker slogans. The few times facade does bother to dress formally, in as bland a business suit as he could find, he makes the small gesture of combing his hair and nothing else. facade does occasionally use a mask similar to his habitual one (face fully covered by a higher-definition display screen) when making anonymous dealings with other villain/criminals, but will usually deal with such figures using his real face. Behind closed doors, in isolated alleys and on the other side of a two-way mirror, facade reveals himself to be an almost entirely different person. He's direct, assertive and confident. He speaks bluntly, with a note of a sly smile every now and then, and examines every part of those he meets, especially their eyes. The windows to the soul. He knows exactly his value and relative position of power in any meeting of egos he willingly sets up, making this explicitly known to others.
Aiden possesses a teenager's physique: thin & wiry, with very little defined muscle or visible fat. While he is pretty physically fit (with the best home workout equipment he could reasonably buy), this doesn't show and one could be forgiven for presuming Aiden is weak or out of shape. Normally and as facade, Aiden has perfect, upright posture with his head held high in confidence. When making public appearances though, he adopts a slight slouch, casting his eyes down while speaking to appear introverted and shy. It's quite the interesting duality to observe, if you can get close enough to the screen to see through. Despite how he may appear, Aiden is actually ink & scar free. He has fake tattoo sleeves/patches and prosthetic blemishes which he can apply to pretty great effect, along with projecting images on his skin if he has access to the technology for it. Aiden's 'tattoos' typically fit an anarchist or punk aesthetic, with one of his staple ones literally being an anarchy symbol on the neck/chest.

Aiden Markusson was born in Reykjavík, Iceland in early 2078 to Dr. Markus Magnusson (a pioneering Icelandic quirk scientist) and Sarah Evans (an American makeup artist), both quirkless. The family moved to New York City (Sarah's hometown) not long after. Aiden grew up amidst the turmoil of the growing Pro Hero industry, still-evolving Quirk regulations/legislation, wide-sweeping demographic changes, etc. His parents were fairly wealthy, having hands in the rapidly changing entertainment industry and field of quirk science respectively, and so he didn't want for much during his childhood. He saw the stark difference in opportunity and outcome between his richer and poorer classmates as he grew up, how it shaped people. Aiden saw it laid out in neon lights: money is the root of power. He 'inherited' his father's analytical mind and his mother's trade skills, but not either of their passions for their fields. Aiden loved coding and visual effects, the arts of making something appear from nothing.
Aiden, now in university, publicly became more introverted, more focused on his work. Meanwhile, he started discovering the criminal underworld of both his city and the world at large. Villain comms networks found themselves on Aiden's phone, which fascinated him (and promptly encouraged him to try modifying his phone to prevent further tracking). Covert deals and under-the-table hacking projects funded his college life, while his degree projects quickly grew in scale and complexity until they became marketable products all their own. During and after finishing his Comp Sci/Electrical Engineering double major, Aiden co-founded 3 tech startups, 2 of which survived to today.
The first is ProjectYou Ltd., a collaboration with animal quirker fashion designer Luna Greyfoot. The company produces clothes and accessories inlaid with flexible digital screens, which can be programmed or linked to another device to display pretty much anything the wearer desires (his masks being prototypes of these products).
The second is Unique Variant Solutions Ltd., co-founded with Aiden's father and his associate Dr. Matthew Brown. Unique Variant is a company dedicated to both funding research into the ways that Quirks impact the daily lives of their holders and into engineering products tailored to individual or similar quirk drawbacks, to improve the quality of life of mutants and others whose Quirks may hamper them.
Both companies started small in NYC, but have now become multinational, with Aiden leading expansion himself via business deals with small support equipment, technology and clothing companies abroad to bring them into the fold. We find Aiden today only a year or so on from graduation, with a quickly rising net worth from repeated investment & illicit partnerships and growing influence with industry and political higher-ups. He has garnered a sizeable online following as AidM and now HiSato, with a reputation as a shy, humble and progressive tech genius. facade has gained a reputation as a magnificent bastard, facilitating villainous activities and providing invaluable services out of the public eye. He's still got room to grow in both of the skillsets he has used to achieve his wealth, and Aiden Markusson plans to make that growth exponential.

The collection includes an ultrasonic whistle (similar to those used for training dogs) and a very low-power shocking baton (which sees more use as a taser), among other, more innocuous tools.

Along with this, the hardware side of computing was funded by Aiden's parents initially, getting him whatever top-end parts he wanted for his self-built PC. Aiden pursued these avenues further in university as well, and now has degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, regularly using those skills as a rising star in the consumer tech field and a black hat hacker-for-hire. The tech he designs is exceptionally high-quality, even for his unofficial clients, and any malware he creates would be difficult to crack for all but the most experienced programmers. His preferred method is the creation of small, concealable devices which mainly serve to create various visual effects or sounds to give the impression that he has some kind of power, backup or weapon. There is significant debate/theorising online as to whether Aiden Markusson actually has some kind of secret Quirk, and this is intentionally cultivated by him. Never play fair. [b]SKILL DESCRIPTION:[/b] Though he isn't formally trained in it, Aiden has quite the skill with makeup, prosthetics and other tools of visual deception. He learned from his mother, a makeup artist in the film & TV industry, and very regularly practices by applying various alterations to his own appearance whenever he has to appear in public, with enough subtle differences to make followers think it's an intentional brand. Combined with his affinity for technology, Aiden is very fond of utilising screens and vfx in his disguises, as evidenced by his signature product/disguise. Not to say that Aiden's disguises are infallible though, a number of people online have correctly pieced together Aiden's true appearance from consistent features, and his alterations are obviously fake under close inspection.

Iphigenia is described as a very dependable and measured person. She prides herself on problem-solving and being able to support those around her to an infallible degree. Naturally, this comes with a bit of stubbornness since she has a hard time accepting she might be wrong but her intent is always one for the betterment of those around her.
Filled with compassion for others which is only slightly overshadowed by her inquisitive nature. She is always interested in how and why things/people work the way they do with a particular interest in investigative work even from a young age. She excels at finding solutions to practical problems but this doesn't mean she disregards being emotionally supportive and social.
She is much more measured than she was years prior, taking an approach to most situations with an approach of 'assess first and then act'. Even with this newfound outlook, there is definitely still a fire behind her eyes from when she was a leap-first type of person. Given the right circumstances, she can be just as reckless as she was in the past but ONLY in situations where no one will get hurt.

By conventional standards, Iphigenia would be considered a fairly attractive woman. She has light red hair tied which is primarily tied into a single long braid and has eye-length bangs with two longer side bangs that frame her face. She is very fastidious when it comes to her hair as she likes to be seen as professional in any public appearance whether she's working or not.
Perhaps her most unusual physical feature is her golden eyes. They are very vibrant even in the daytime at nighttime they have a slight glow to them.
For her hero work, she keeps it simple by wearing a black businessman suit with a white shirt and black tie tucked inside of it. This is usually adorned with smaller gadgets and a small first aid kit lining the inside of the top. For her casual outfit, if in public, she wears a nearly unbuttoned white jacket with a black dress inside of it, long black stockings, and high-heeled shoes. When she's either in her home or around people she trusts she will forgo all of this and wear a simple hoodie, sweatpants, and some comfortable shoes.

Born as the first and oldest daughter to a fairly well-off family in Greece, Iphi had a wonderful childhood. She was an only child until she was about 8 when her younger sister was born. From the moment she was born, Iphi felt a strong desire to protect her which continues to this day.
Not having much of a desire to join the hero world initially, Iphi didn't really focus on anything related to her quirk. Being a mutation she had some natural benefits that helped her exceed in school, particularly her eidetic memory. This in turn made Iphi a bit of a punk as all she needed to do was look at her textbooks once and she would gain perfect marks which left her with a lot of free time. One of her favorite things to do in her free time was to watch crime shows finding the mystery the most appealing part of them.
When Iphi eventually graduated High School her family was approached by a recruiter from UAU who was thoroughly impressed with her perfect marks and her quirk being registered publically meant that they were very aware of how she was able to do so. UAU didn't really seem like something she was interested in, but she was convinced by her parents to go given that it was a fairly prestigious school. As a result, she shares the honor with a small number of students for getting in through recommendations instead of the normal entrance exam. Of course, this meant she needed to move away from home but Iphi shared a pinky promise with her little sister that they would talk to each every day no matter how tough things got.
It was at UAU she met her future coworker Amane in the hero course who she became fast friends with continuing to this day. Compared to other students in the hero course she didn't have a quirk that was able to give her any sort of supernatural advantage such as being able to generate fire or fly. What she did have was an excessive amount of brain processing power and used that to her own advantage to learn as much as she could during her time at the school.
At graduation, she joined an agency named 'Ouros' after the hero who ran it. For a few years, she went into the field frequently learning how to properly fight and became slightly reckless in the process trying to make up for her lack of an offensive quirk. This all came to a head one fateful day when she was overwhelmed by a villain group and Ouros came to her rescue losing their life in the process. The following caused the other senior members of Ouros to leave which left the agency in a bad way. Both Iphi and Amane being the only ones left had agreed to refocus on being an agency focusing on investigative work.

The initial ability granted by this quirk, prior to Iphi spending time training, was an eidetic memory in that she can recall anything that has ever occurred in her life. This in turn grants a vast amount of information and knowledge on anything she's learned giving her innated encyclopedic knowledge of science, mechanics/technology, literature, history, etc. Not only does she hold what is considered an "infinite" vault of information but she can also process information, her own or otherwise, at incredible speeds, allowing her to analyze and come to conclusions at an unprecedented rate. She can use the variables of a given situation to predict/perceive [Not to be confused with future vision] the paths that lead to certain outcomes, based on what choices are made. This percentage of accuracy for this is directly proportionate to how much she actively knows about a subject, object, or individual. [b][AWARENESS][/b]
Due to the nature of High Spec, the user is capable of instantly formulating incredibly intricate strategies; such as being able to plan several steps in advance with the information at hand. She can create elaborate complex plans/strategies and apply them not only in battle but all activities that involve intellect, e.g., strategic games.
While this quirk doesn't require eyesight to be used for Iphi it is like she is always looking in AR Reality as she chronicles information and new analysis as little pop-up bubbles that she can 'filter' to determine what specific thing she's looking for with these being updated whenever she learns of new information.
[b]QUIRK DRAWBACKS:[/b] High Spec has no inherent offensive or defensive capabilities. It simply boosts intelligence and processing power to a high degree but has no capability to interact with the world in any way.
The biggest limitation of the quirk is a lack of knowledge. For anything that is unknown or something that Iphi doesn't have any knowledge on she won't be able to use her vault of information to employ any of the more advanced qualities of her quirk.

For combat, Tai Chi is focused on movements and correct posture including where your hands and feet should be as well as where to apply force, and how to absorb, redirect and control the incoming force. It works as a very fluid fighting form with movements being able to be intermingled without prior intent and can flip from offense to defense without issue. It is a fighting style that focuses on control, achieved through turning an opponent's own strength against them, rather than directly harming the opponent.

Ryo is, to put it simply, a personality. He is confident, outgoing and in his element in large crowds. Enjoys teasing friends about the most disparate of things and is probly a little bit too nosy for his own good. Inherently curious and fiercely brave he is ready to "fight" until the very last to see his vision come true. He is rather relaxed and laid back, preferring informal wear to what he's usually required to wear for his job. Even then, the most "formal" you can find him in is just a loose shirt with sleeves rolled off and a tie.

Ryo looks like a humanoid bunny pretty much, with light fur, blonde hair and differently colored eyes. He wears a yellow and black hoodie, white shorts and black/gold rubber leg supports.

Ryo is only half japanese and knows the language thanks to his father, but has spent the majority of his childhood in England. There, outside of his quirk, he pretty much would grow up the same as any regular kid, up until after his High School. His near perfect scores pointed him at having the uncommon spark of a genious. He would quickly secure a scholarship at the most reknown law school in England and soon proceed to ace his exams to the point of being able to take the Bar examination after completing his law studies in just seven out of the usually eight required years.
From there, his success in the rising field of Heroic Intervetion type lawsuits while mostly working as a prosecutor garnered him the nickname of "the Prince of the Forum" by the press. He was quick to garner fame an a sizable amount of funds, which he put towards opening his own Law Firm, moving to japan in the meantime after feeling he needed a change of air and wanting to experience a slightly different judicial system. Living up to his name, he would quickly pass the bar and find himself particularly in his element in the east continent, which only helped increase his fame, disposable income and wish to further invest in his firm.

Yuma is the cool slick dude who always appears calm, in control and slighly overconfident about himself. He is incredibly charismatic, pleasant to be around and incredibly empathic, quickly able to pick up clues and read the mood. While he does have a rather substantial inferiority complex given his past, a need to always prove himself to others and is slightly envious of his sister's success, he hides that side of him pretty well and doesn't really let those thoughts get in the way of his family. He loves all his siblings to death and has an expecially close bond with his Elder sister.

Yuma is a 6 feet tall humanoid fox, looking pretty much similar to his elder sister Skald in physique but with a few key differences. Most of his fur is a golden blonde color instead of dark gray, he has purple marks on his body instead of red colored ones and most importantly: he only has one single tail instead of multiple. Naturally, feet and hands are turned into paws tipped with sharp claws and he walks with a digitigrade stance rather than a normal human stance.

Yuma was born five years after his older sister and has been pretty much been growing up in her shadow ever since. While his early life did not have any hardship and was actually the reason he shares an incredibly deep bond with Skald to this day, things took a turn later down the line, during the transitory period that would lead his sister to resign from police duties and take on the hero mantle.
He was always enamored with the idea of becoming a superhero and save people by fighting bad guys, so much so that he almost jeopardized his studies to try and get a hero license. Sadly, the hero committee deemed his quirk too damgerous for him to use in active combat and not powerful enough to contend against villains, thus rejecting him and turning down his request to enroll in hero bootcamp training.
The event deeply scarred Yuma's confidence, even more so when his sister was quickly becoming becoming a successful and reknowed hero not too long after his failure. This was the first cause of his insecurities and the envy for his sister's success was the thing that pushed him towards the path of vigilantism. Finding a way to get himself an alibi, he would soon begin patrolling at night, learning to fight on the streets and striving to eventually get his vigilante persona "Kyuubi" the same recognition Skald commanded from the masses.
And if people decided he couldn't do it openly in the light of day he would prove them all wrong in the shadows...

[b]QUIRK DESCRIPTION: [/b]Much like his older sister and younger siblings, Yuma's quirk is a dual quirk that allows superior control over their body's appereance. The mutant side of the quirk was passed down from his mother's genes and has turned his physique into a hybrid between a human and a kitsune, albeit with one single tail instead of multiple, though these changes are more due to genetics themselves and don't particularly influence Yuma's outside of his base appereance.
Yuma's quirk's other side, however, can allow him to shape-shift into another person's appearance after consuming some of their blood. After the transformation he becomes perfect copy of the target, including tiny details like their clothes or their voice if he chooses to also replicate those. The amount of time the user can utilize a particular transformation is proportionate to the amount of blood that is consumed prior to activation, though generally a cup of blood equates to roughly one day's worth of transformation time. The quirk can also allow the user to briefly duplicate the Quirk of the person they transformed into, provided they are close enough to said person in an emotional sense, and they have enough prior knowledge of said Quirk through studying and researching.
[b]QUIRK DRAWBACKS: [/b]This quirk can only aesthetically transform its user and cannot replicate their target's personality, knowledge, or other such details, which must be discovered separately by Yuma if he wishes to mimic their target in a precise manner. The amount of time for the transformation, as well as how much blood can be ingested is still limited and will eventually run out. Transforming does also give the user a certain liking towards blood, as well as an innate desire to taste and drink it which can cause problems or get out of hand real quick should this dependence on consumption be indulged too much or too little.
The most important detail, however, is that the quirk itself doesn't grant the user any level of knowledge about mimicked quirks, thus severely limiting the user's ability to use said copied quirks until they have studied them enough to use them properly. Not only that but copied quirks can only be used when transformed and only if Yuma close enough to the original owner emotionally, and even then it will always be weaker than the original.

Simply put, Shu is a dick. A well intentioned dick, but a dick nonetheless. He has no qualms about speaking his mind at any given moment and can somewhat irritable around others. However, at his core, he is a very caring and loving individual—willing to go above and beyond to ensure his people are well cared for.
Furthermore, the tanuki lives by two guiding principles:

He believes that nobody should feel that they need to box themselves in to appease others and should live their lives to the grandest.[/li][/ul][div][font size="2"]
[/font][/div][ul type="disc"][li][i]Strength Defines the World:[/i] In order to live a life unimpeded by others, strength is essential. Those that hold the most power get to define the rules of the world around them. Physical prowess, money, determination, unique skills. All of these are aspects of strength that a person can utilize to achieve their goals. However, he is also of the belief that the strong are obligated to protect the weak.[span style="font-size:13.333332px;"] Because having the power to define the rules of the world and not improving the quality of it is a waste of a person's strength, in his eyes.[/span][/li][/ul]
[b]Appearance[/b]
The tanuki stands at 6'3" and weighs in at around 260 lbs. A child of mixed heritage, Shu has a bronze or caramel-esque complexion. His eyes are golden and seem to shimmer in the light, as if they were actually made of the precious metal. Shu's black locs has started to gain flecks of grays—to which he attributes to Zazie rather than his age. Despite having retired from being a pro-hero for roughly a decade, Shu has not let that deter his physicality. Sporting a very athletic build it would be easy to assume he was still in active duty.[/font]

[font color="#6a6a6a"]Tragedy and grief are two specters that have haunted the tanuki since he was a child. The son of the American pro-hero, Ororo Boros, and the Japanese pro-hero, Techtonics, Shu grew up idolizing heroes and the impact they had on the world. Unfortunately, at the age of ten, tragedy made its first strike. Both of his parents were killed in the line of duty, sacrificing themselves so that a dangerous villain could be subdued.[/font]
[font color="#6a6a6a"]One of America's top pro-heroes, War Dog, had been a long time friend of his mother's and, in his grief, he offered to take custody of Shu. His family and godfather ultimately agreed, feeling that he would be able to provide a better life for Shu, and so he was sent to America.[/font]
[font color="#6a6a6a"]While living with War Dog he was treated like a part of the family, viewing his children as his own siblings. Due to War Dog's and his parents' reputations Shu was able to get into the Howlett Institute, one of the best schools for heroics in America, fairly easily.[/font]
[font color="#6a6a6a"]By the age of nineteen he had already made a name for himself as a pro-hero in America under the name of Tanuki. His crass but brutally honest nature seemed to resonate with various demographics across the nation, garnering him much praise as well as criticism. [/font]
[font color="#6a6a6a"]At the age of twenty-one, Shu had started to develop his career as an international hero by working in America and Japan. This was also the time when he would be more intimately introduced to the woman who would become his wife, [a href="https://i.imgur.com/cuYBiva.png"]Shahar Ogolakanu[/a]. The two had both attended Howlett at the same time, but rarely interacted. But now, Shahar was working with the Hero Associacion as a member of the H.A.R.M. (Hero Association Resource Management) Division. In short, it was her job to ensure that all his equipment was up-to-date and properly registered. With enough time, the two started dating and married. [/font]

In the same year, the couple learned that they would soon be parents to a beautiful baby girl. They opted to name her Zazie in honor of Shu's late mother.[/font]
[font color="#6a6a6a"]As mentioned before, Shu is what the hero community considers to be an Icarus. Tragedy would strike again at the age of thirty-one. The downward spiral began with the news of War Dog's nemesis, Pride—the man who killed Shu's parents—escaping from confinement. The two Symbols of Strength sought to band together, but before they could properly make a plan the villain struck. Tactical and efficient. Their family irrevocably shattered in a single night.
War Dog was killed early in the encounter. All other aide from heroes was rendered useless. Shu had been momentarily downed by the villain. All seemed lost. Until Pride vocalized his intent to kill Zazie as well. In that moment, something awakened within Shahar. Her quirk's power grew to exponential levels, far greater than what a simple adrenaline rush could produce. She fought blow for blow against the monster single-handedly, long enough for Shu to recover. However, Shahar knew what needed to be done. Shahar ordered Shu to create a dome around her and Pride, demanding that he maintain it at all costs. Reluctantly, he did as instructed and Shahar unleashed every iota of solar power she had ever absorbed. She quite literally became a living star and in the process incinerated Pride on a molecular level.
In the end, when the dome fell, Shahar was the only thing left. However, her body was clearly unable to handle that level of power. She was white hot. Her body breaking away into embers. Shu tried his best to hold her, using his quirk to mitigate the damage as they shared one final moment together. Her final words before body disappeared completely was: "Be her strength."
And that's what he did.
Being unable to save his wife and second father, Shu retired as a pro-hero. And knowing the pains of losing parents in the line of duty, he simply couldn't allow Zazie to grow up as he did. The loss of one parent was one too many. So he moved to Japan permanently to raise Zazie alongside his father's family. He took over a bar that his uncle used to own and has lived a relatively domestic life for the past nine years.
But even in retirement, some habits are hard to kick. While he legitimately runs Noyote as a business, it also serves as a front for his services as an information broker. The intel he gains is generally passed on to heroes, police, and vigilantes so that they can deal with the issue without Shu getting his hands dirty. He also moonlights as a self-defense teacher, typically taking government contracts when Noyote doesn't bring in as much money as he'd prefer.
Fatherhood has also brought about its own unique challenges for the tanuki. Especially, when the child is very much like him. The latest conflict is the fact that he retired from being a hero. [a href="https://i.imgur.com/Q4UFWfj.jpg"]Zazie[/a] calls him a hypocrite, given his belief that the strong should use their power to change the world for the better. He argues that [i]she[/i] is his world. All the same, they're managing to make their little family work. Even if they get on each other's last nerves.

Xillions[/b], as the name would imply, is a meta ability that allows Shu to create, manipulate, and transform into a near infinite amount of micro bio-organic adamantine substance that greatly resembles black sand. These black granules operate as an extension of Shu's own body, responding to his every whim—at times, even reacting on instinct. The level to which Shu can control the black sand is essentially on a molecular level, allowing him to manipulate its density and appearance with a single thought. In short, the capabilities of this quirk are only limited by his own imagination.
When transforming his body into the black sand, Shu likes to refer to this state as [i]Satetsujin[/i], or "Black Sand God." [a href="https://i.imgur.com/9AJDPu3.gif"]He can transform a single digit or his entire body[/a], and in doing so gains all of the properties of the black san. Since he is physically becoming the black this means that Shu becomes capable of manipulating his body in the same way he would normally control the quirk—essentially becoming a living construct. While in this state, his consciousness exists in a hive mind state between the granules allowing him to experience the world in somewhat omnipresent scope.
Shu's most common form of manipulation is done in the following ways:
[ul type="disc"][li][i]Constructs:[/i] Using the black sand, he [a href="https://i.imgur.com/x5G1r48.gif"]molds it into various shapes[/a] that can be used offensively, defensively, or supplementary.[/li][/ul][div][font size="2"]
[/font][/div][ul type="disc"][li][i]Tanukitsuki:[/i] Otherwise known as "Tanuki Possession," Shu will transform his body into the black sand and [a href="https://i.imgur.com/VcfMlxB.mp4"]alter his appearance[/a] to resemble other people, creatures, or things.[/li][/ul]
In terms of drawbacks, Xillions has its fair share. For one, the quirk is heavily reliant on Shu's mental and emotional capacity. Altering his state of mind by any means could effectively render the quirk inert, or at the bare minimum dull his ability to control it. This is especially true when in his [i]Satetsujin[/i] state. If he isn't careful he could potentially lose all sense of himself and be stuck in a sort of limbo state.
Additionally, while the granules are bio-organic, they are still ferrous in nature. As such, they can be susceptible to high powered magnets unless they've been heated up to certain degrees.
On the subject of heat, the granules are potent conductors of heat and electricity. Too well, in fact. When granules reach high enough temperatures they begin to break down structurally and burn up completely.
[i]Tanukitsuki[/i] also has its flaws. For one, not matter how well Shu is able to reconfigure his form it is still made of black sand. As such, any close inspection will give away the falsehood of the form. He is also not a mimic, so any voices that he makes would have to be his best impression.
Shu is also required to eat a large amount of iron-rich foods to support the production of the black sand.

Fighting comes as naturally as breathing for the tanuki. Even at a young age he possessed a frightening aptitude for dismantling anyone that dared to face him. This skill has only amplified with age and experience. Making use of his heightened sense of awareness—which he calls his "godly insight"—Shu is capable of deconstructing quirks and abilities to their basic principles after viewing them only once.
To maximize the usage of his "godly insight," Shu takes on a primarily defensive approach to fighting. By maintaining a comfortable distance through swift evasion and redirecting attacks he is able to properly observe his opponent and discover weaknesses to exploit. Once found, he can deliver devastating, decisive and debilitating blows to whomever has the misfortune of fighting him.
[a href="https://i.imgur.com/4QTT4LW.mp4"]When viewed in combat it doesn't necessarily even seem like he is doing much, but none of his movements are wasted. Every action has a purpose, and it's all to bring him closer to victory.[/a]
When he is feeling particularly cheeky, Shu will even "steal" the movements of his opponent. For example, if an opponent has a signature punch, after proper observation he could mimic the strike as well as the opponent. Though, sometimes he will have to utilize his quirk to make up for potential physical limitations in order to accomplish this effect.
[b]Shahar's Omnitool: C-[/b]
An experimental device that Shahar created, using technologies acquired from Sovereign Technologies. It's an implant device that offers him a wide spectrum of services through the use of [a href="https://i.imgur.com/BRYuw61.mp4"]hard light[/a]. It's most prominent feature is its ability to analyze materials and breakdown their chemical make-up. Typically, Shu will use this feature to examine a crime scene to find trace elements of clues or verify the quality of products. There is even an AI assistant installed that can help him allocate and compartmentalize his information. Though, most often he uses the omnitool as a communication device to keep in touch with Zazie.
