So, picture this: Tokyo, right? Big, BIG fuckin' place, with everything that anyone could ever want (aside from affordable housing). In there, the thing that Mel was looking for were new clothes! Again! But it's different this time, because just recently, as he opened his closet, he saw a heaping variety of girl's clothes and almost nothing for the men, aside from some plain shirts, sweatpants and a few suits. Like sure, he knew that men's fashion in general is a steaming pile of shit at the best of times, with a lack of variety so disastrous that it can drive a person to tears - while the good stuff only fits the big macho American types. Men's clothes that looked fashionable in someone who is, at best, androgynous? Yeah, all either lame, tacky or just girly which, at that point, might as well just use girl's clothes like he has thus far.

Still, this won't do! Fashion's fashion and there is surely some minimally androgynous, if not masculine, clothing that he can wear and look good while wearing it! And not just good in that he's so pretty naturally that it all works out - no - an ACTUAL outfit that complements him and looks great! And if he has to somehow make that miracle come true, then he has to shop in the best place one could ever find in all of Japan: which brings us back all the way to the beginning: Tokyo! That's why he's here, why he's wearing a striped white and purple tanktop that showed his lightly defined stomach and a short black skirt, all for the summer time! And, of course, hair's tied the way it always is, this time with some black bows to contrast the pink hair.

Fool that he is. A miracle's only a miracle because it just ain't supposed to happen without divine intervention! Even though he had hauled ass through more places than he'd ever care to count, he just hadn't found anything that fit him in the way he liked - or looked any way he liked. It all looked tacky on someone like him, while the rest FELT tacky just to wear! Like.. outright uncomfortable! How do men survive this shit!? WHY ARE DENIM PANTS SO UNCOMFORTABLE!?

Ah.. So he stood there, yet another high-end clothing store, his cortisol likely spiking by this point, perhaps about to reach a breaking point where he might just go on a destructive rampage to let go of some steam, as he had done before. Unless, of course, he is lucky enough to find someone with an eye for fashion even finer than his own! ..If he were to find someone like that, he could probably relax and ask THEM for help!

Honestly, that sounds much more likely than he first assumed so, curiously, he began taking a good, hard look at other people shopping here! He hadn't given anyone the time of day yet as he usually would, so who knows what he might have missed?

Shopping is one of the things that makes Auden the most happy. It doesn't ever have to be anything special, but the feeling of going out and even being able to just browse makes him feel at peace. Perhaps it was the lack of being able to as a child, or his adolescent years where he forced himself not to. Now, he could go out whenever he wanted, to get whatever he wanted.

Usually, he likes to go over some of the new trends to see if he'd be caught in it. Even if it was in style, that didn't mean he was going to subject himself to. The trends that went around were sometimes too ridiculous to even imagine that they were made by a human.

His eyes traced over some rather bold clothing options in front of a designer store. The colors were too bright that they made him nauseous, and there was enough fishnet to go fishing with. He'd glance to his left, seeing a pinked haired individual who also didn't seem too impressed. "This stuff is... It wouldn't look great on you, no offense. I doubt it would look good on anyone at all." Sometimes, fashion was meant to be admired from afar and not worn. "Hopefully you weren't looking forward to wearing anything of this collection."
