[Shirayuki Mai]

Shirayuki Mai's days were split between her hero work, teaching at UAU and working as an instructor in her family dojo. At present it was the latter of the three she was engaged in. It wasn't an uncommon occurrence that someone interested in learning or simply testing their skills wandered in and a fair few had caught Mai's interest in the past, this latest occurrence being one of them.

She wasn't entirely sure of the man's reasons but it mattered little in the end. He was here to improve his skills, a pursuit Mai was more than familiar with and wouldn't hesitate to assist with. The fact that it let her temper her own skills as well was not calculated into the equation but certainly a welcome bonus. Keeping her posture relaxed yet ready to go at any moment she kept a close eye on Mel. When it came to martial arts her gut feeling rarely failed her and the opponent in front of her seemed skilled indeed.

In fact, she'd made sure to clear the surrounding mats just in case and grabbed her scarves to make full use of her combat style.

"Come at me whenever you are ready." Mai spoke in an even tone, her breathing rhythm not changing in the slightest due to her words focused as she was. Her arms raised into a more guarded stance. Whatever move he threw at her she'd make sure she was ready to take on.
