✧ Dream World Broadcast ✧
Tokyo, 8:00am Monday.
A flamboyant man approaches the stage from behind it. Decked out in a blue and red mix-match palette with includes his hair, clothing and even his eyes, a bright smile is plastered to welcome in those that are observing him. Cameras are around to broadcast the speech on local news channels, as well as a decently sized crowd below him. He stands on the grand stage of his own creation: Dream World. A place for imagination, for possibility, but most of all for fun! He bows and promptly straightens his clothing out once more. A few steps are made to approach the red beguiled microphone. A well-maintained hand grips it gently, each finger placing themselves in the perfect location.
Finally, a breath before the speech escapes him. "Welcome one, welcome all! My name is Aka Ao, and I am the owner and founder of what you see all around me- Dream World! I wanted to create a place for people to intermingle, no matter of their path in life, in a safe environment. This world is far too divided I believe, and I want nothing more than to have people from totally different walks of life to be able to call a stranger their friend! I'm sure many of you are going to come here with your co-workers, your friends, your family, or your lovers. I urge you to enjoy yourself with those people, but if you have the time, try saying hi to a stranger, to go on a ride with them, to allow them in line before you. A small act of kindness goes a long way, and it makes it a lot less awkward if you get stuck with them!" He'd laugh at his line, before realizing that he had gone a bit off topic. Eyes would shift left to right before he'd settle back to the discussion at hand.
"Everyone is just a friend you haven't made yet, or a person that you aren't able to understand. Please, enjoy Dream World with all your hearts, and keep it close to your fondest memories. If you wish to learn more information about me, or about the park, I'll be around, in the crowds, enjoying my creation just as much as you all are!" He'd pause, trying to gauge the live audience as well as make sure that his gaze was clear for the cameras. "That being said, anyone from any walk of life is welcome here. It does not matter if you are a hero fighting for the people, or a villain trying to make it right in your own way- we are all here to enjoy the festivities. This is the reason that I have dubbed this day, our opening day, to be a Unity Festival! Make this opening day something to remember." He hoped that his humbleness would come off properly. "You're all my honored guests, so please, bring someone you love, or maybe someone you do not, and make their day just a bit better with a special moment between the two of you!" He'd bow, the live crowd clapping idly at his odd but sincere speech.

After Aka looks to the camera once again to show an award-winning smile, the broadcast ends with a ticket flying onto the TV screen to show the times and dates of Dream World.

Nerima Prefecture, 7:00 pm, At the Tower left behind by The Tortured With most people focused on Dream World's festivities, there was no better time to gather in this place. With Tokyo's government having deemed the tower a quarantine zone pending further investigation, with a bit of preparation, it wasn't much of a challenge to move to the tower's apex.
From the tower's shadow, in a particular blind spot, a small black orb would phase into reality and then open, allowing two individuals to step out. Once it had provided the transport, the orb would expand, forming a camouflage around that point on the tower.
The two individuals, with their features obscured from the darkness surrounding them, would quickly move towards the interior with one of them being particularly chatty "So that's all this guy was for, huh?" a faint purple glow from the mans visor could be seen "You sent all of those guys out there to- wait you sent me too? Was I supposed to turn into one of these things?!?" the indignation was palpable. There was a brief pause before the other person spoke, "I did so on orders. I'm not the one you should be bringing these concerns up with; I'd start with The Elementalist and work your way up the ladder. Now, hand me the device." The 'purple man' would clasp his hands together to summon a small metallic orb, which he would pass to the other person. "So this is gonna hit all of Japan?" The other person would slowly shake their head as they placed a palm against the tower, creating a small hole in which the orb would be placed inside. "No, the experiment was only a partial success. Had the biomass expanded through all of Nerima, it would have. The size of this tower means we'll only get Tokyo and some of the surrounding areas." he'd remove his palm, and the opening would shut, a green light emanating from the spot and then shooting up and down the tower, turning its silver coloration to a glowing green one. "This should be good enough."
As the energy built up and the glow intensified, it would start flowing towards the tower's very top. From there, it would be released as a wave of green light that spread across the sky of Japan. Onlookers near Nerima who would be the first to see this could easily mistake the energy as if they were looking at the northern lights. Still, unlike that natural phenomenon, there was something eerily sinister about this display. This would come nearly moments later as the 'harmless' light descended on the earth and infiltrated high and low; no place was safe from the light.
It would take only a few seconds for the madness to erupt. In nearly the same instant, every individual would fall under the effects of the machine's light, quirk factors being shuffled around almost aimlessly, and people falling into sleep they couldn't wake up from. Perhaps even the most frightening would be those who would be ripped from this reality, fading into nothingness on the spot and being thrown into an alternate world.
The Dream World.

Tokyo, The Dream World Festival, 7:00 pm.
"I'm surprised they managed to pull this off; I was sure I would have needed at least to take care of a few criminals down there." The Pro Hero, Sun Knight, would speak openly to the four other Pro Heroes gathered at a vantage point during the festival. They were all brought on formally as security but more accurately as a deterrent given their status. The group consisted of 5 Pro Heroes ranked highly, with a few amongst them more renowned than the others. The Tokyo Government, which sanctioned this event, chose these five for a reason. Carrion and Willow, who was slumped over, sighed loudly and exclaimed, "It's so boring! Why couldn't they get someone else and let me go on patrol?" The next to speak was a much smaller girl with bright blue hair and odd-looking eyes ""(: revo lla si siht nehw syad wef a ni lortap no kcab ot ecnahc ruoy teg ll'uoY !noirraC ,yako s'tI" she would say this entirely in reverse which wouldn't come to a shock to anyone in this group. "I think it's nice to have a break from patrols," Egg-sue would try to change the direction of the conversation. "Don't you think so, Starling? ....Starling?"
All eyes would move towards Starling Soul as she was chosen to lead this small group. Even with her face as inscrutable as always due to her atypical features, the group could collectively tell that she was distracted by something. This distraction would tie directly into her quirk for Starling as she could feel...a disturbance? It was as if something or someone was trying to project their will over reality. For someone like her, the sensation was a direct assault on all her senses all at once, and as a result, she was the first of anyone in Japan to recognize the danger of the light coming from the distance.
"An incursion."
Her coworkers were confused by what that meant, but trusting in their senior, they would watch as she unfurled her second set of arms and began to weave a fixed point in space for herself. The ground would swell and then rise, forming a large plateau that she would position high enough to see the light coming towards them. "I do not know what is coming. Whatever it is, it will take all my power and concentration to stop everything from falling apart." Her several eyes would scan the crowds of people and then flit back towards the other four heroes gathered. "This will change the reality we live in. I can feel that. I entrust the rest to you four; unfortunately, there is no time to explain." Truthfully, she didn't know the full extent of what this light would do. All she knew was that whatever or whoever was doing this, they had used a quirk on the same wavelength as her own.
The light descended, and the Dream World Festival would erupt into chaos. Sun Knight and Oreh would fade like the others, but Starling Soul was quick on the draw as she would use her quirk to grab a thread between them to track down where they would end up. When she peered across this rift in reality, she was shocked to see just how many people ended up in this alternate space. It was a space that overlapped with their reality, and yet it was impossible to move between the two unless...
For now, it was Starling Soul's job to ensure this didn't all fall apart. She was the only one who could anchor the two together, albeit just barely. Who knows what would happen if the people transported into this space were to drift too far?
She would make sure this 'Dream World' would endure.
