He had to double check he wasn't drugged when someone brought him the news of this Dream World in which criminals and known villains could walk around freely? There was a non zero chance this was a trap buuuuuuuuuuuut when did that even stop Rav? Plus if Penny was there he'd have the chance to taunt her with no chance of retaliation. That was enough for him to show up.

He waited in line, a decent head above most of the others gathered here and much to his surprise he did recognize some faces from the underworld who he wouldn't have expected to see out in public. On the other hand there were also Pro Heroes in the same lines standing just inches away from criminals with arrest warrants. Rav's smile would grow ear to ear as she thought about how much he could see and how much he could get into just by being here.

Out of the corner of his eye he noticed someone who, aside from the rabbit ears, was fairly nondescript. She was clearly looking for some cash or something to get a ticket and it didn't take long for Rav to step out of his line and move towards her. "Hey little rabbit~ You lost? The line to get a ticket is over there~" his arms folded into his sleeves, and he'd bent down next to her so they were at eye level. She didn't look special, but he'd been surprised before. "Ravindra or, I guess, Indra?" he'd cup his chin in thought. "Guess since heroes are off limits, I can go by whatever I'd like. You~?"

Waking up at the crack of dawn upon the sounds of hubbub and people working to set something up nearby where she lives was not what Tomari was expecting or hoping for when she went to sleep last night. So after rolling herself out of her sleeping-bag and throwing her coat on over her shoulders, she decides to scale down the side of the building like she's done hundreds of times before. Once out in the streets proper she is able to ascertain what all the commotion is about.. Some carnival had wandered into town and decided to take up residence close enough where she would be bothered by the noise of it all. Greeeat, this will certainly do well for her already present lack of sleep.[break][break]

Deciding that now that she's here she may as well head inside to see what sort of stuff she can rustle up to eat, you can imagine her surprise when the ticket-vendor asks her for a startling 1000 Yen. She steps back, even angrier than before and more than a little bewildered, crossing her arms beneath her coat as she takes a second to mentally recover from the string of unfortunate events. Her sulking is interrupted, however, by a much taller man with an air of professionalism about him and.. a mix of other things she can't quite place.[break][break]

"I can't get it. I don't have any money." Her tone is tired, yes, but with a spiteful underlying tone that betrays how annoyed she is not only by the situation but immediately being questioned about being one of the only people not cheerfully strolling inside like it's the easiest thing in the world. She huffs and shrugs, "Toki Tomari.. An' what do ya mean, 'off-limit'..? Got a problem with em..?"

He wasn't exactly super recognizable and even if he was Rav didn't tie his pride into his infamy. In fact, based on his work being unknown, it would be ideal for anyone other than him. There was too much fun to be had!

He would take a moment to look Toki up and down before raising a finger as if a lightbulb went off in his head. "Well, you're in luck~! It would be a real shame to come all the way out here just to sit outside the gate!" he'd unfold his arms and gesture for her to follow him towards one of the ticket holders. Money was never an object to him, unlike Penny, who...ya know it would be fun to run into Penny here. Hero License or otherwise, there wasn't much that his ex-wife could do given the circumstances. He'd take out 2000 yen from his wallet for two tickets and hand one to Toki, providing she trusted him enough to accept it.

Regardless of whether she followed him or not he'd enter the main gate and upon arrival would be handed a map of all the facilities and activities that Dream World had to offer. He'd look over to a Pro Hero who he did recognize from a 'walk' when Rav killed a partner of his. Taunting him, knowing there wasn't anything he could do, hed give a overly friendly wave to which the man would grunt and walk away. Assuming Toki caught all that, he'd point at the man as he walked away. "See that? Pro Heroes can't do a thing here. Whether you're a criminal or otherwise, we have immunity. Isn't that a riot??"

Toki would squint up at the tall, imposing man for a couple of seconds as he jovially dismisses her question. When someone has that sort of reaction to a question like that? It really shows a confidence that you don't see in many folks in the scene, a confidence that Toki would be ashamed to admit leaves with a subtle shiver down her spine. Not of fear, at least not of the conscious variety, but a similar feeling like when you're facing down a hungry bear or.. the smiling face of a killer. Toki is only briefly grasped by this train of thought before she is shaken out of it by the man gesturing for her to follow along with him towards the inside of the fairgrounds.[break][break]

The black-haired youth watches as he casually pulls out the required bills and pays not only for his ticket but one for her as well, pushing it down into her hands almost as if he wasn't going to take no as an answer. Even if she was a total stranger, this guy has gone out of his way to spend his hard-earned (or otherwise) cash in order to make sure she isn't excluded from the festivities for monetary reasons along. She finds this a bit.. Was he scheming something? Planning to take advantage of her? But- Surely if he planned to do that, he wouldn't be so open about his status and appreciation of the punishment-free zone that Dream World has seen fit to provide.[break][break]

Toki takes heavy steps as she follows behind the man, deciding she may as well stick around him for a little while since he was kind enough to purchase her a ticket.. Once she receives the map of the park, she takes a moment to glance down at it and judge the selection, only to briefly catch an absolutely bitter look from someone she can easily recognize as a popular hero here in Tokyo. This guy might be a little bit more serious than she thought..! She huffs out and flicks her bangs from her face slightly before replying, "Seems like it wasn't a bluff.. So, tell me, who are you then." It's blunt, yes, but he hasn't done much to dissuade her curiosity, only spur it further..! She continues, "'m Toki Tomari..I'm uh, a nobody. But one of those kinds you don't wanna meet in a dark alley.. Ya know..?" She half jokes, trying to subtly hint towards her.. er, bad habits.

Just call me Rav or Ravi~" his eyes would scan the crowds of people for anyone familiar, only getting a brief glimpse of another person from his organization who was clearly trying to blend in with the crowd. It made sense; that was what he should have been doing, but that was really, really fucking boring.

"Toki Tomari, huh?" his eyes narrowed as he hummed in thought, trying to remember if he'd ever heard of the name. A full name like that would make a bad alias regardless so he shook his head. "Never heard of you! Seeing as you're willing to follow me I'd guess...a petty criminal? an aspiring vigilante that plays by her own rules? stop me if I get it!" in this world you were either famous, infamous, or paranoid enough to remain out of the spotlight, although their were plenty who fell into multiple categories "Oho~" Rav would raise his hands feigning fright. "Remind me to stay away from dark alleys from now on." he'd fold his arms back into his sleeves and begin to walk specifically towards the food court. God, part of her wants to try and dissuade this guy from being so boisterous in such a crowded and public place but- In all reality, there's no reason to. If the place truly has been turned into a sort of safe-zone, she should have no worries talking about usually quite sketchy things, right? She rolls her shoulders slightly and reaches into her coat, pulling free a cigarette and a cheap-looking lighter the first of which she places gently between her lips before using the second the spark a small flame and set the cigarette alight. She takes a moment to inhale deeply and hold the smoke there for a couple of seconds before replying, "Yeh, I know your name, tch.." She rolls her eyes, "I mean.. who are you, really. What's your deal. I get that you are some kind of shady fella that isn't appreciated by those hoity-toity hero-types, but- You know what i'm like.. gettin' at, right..?" [break][break]

Though, asking these kind of questions she could be expected to answer similar ones in kind, so she isn't too opposed offering up some information to this guy since he's already done her a solid. Plus, her status surely isn't much to compare to whatever this guy has done if a pro reacts like they did to him. She puffs out a cloud of smoke through her nose and nods, "I'm just a nobody. A faceless jerk who takes what they want when they need it, even if it doesn't belong to them. Isn't much else past that.." She punctuates this by withdrawing the cigarette from her lips to let flick the ashes down onto the ground below her carelessly, holding the lit stick in her hand down below for a while, "My quirk though? It's hard to explain. It's a natural defense mechanism with no real offensive capabilities. Long story short, not many people could hurt me even if they tried their damnedest, maybe not even you, especially not m'self.."

Rav was a different beast when it came to criminal activities; not only did he not disguise himself in public, but he relished in the opportunity to do so.

"A nobody, huh?" It was true Toki wasn't on his radar, and his job was information gathering, but he didn't think being a nobody was a bad thing. In fact, a nobody was exactly the type of person he would eventually need for his plans. "An automatic defense? Seems handy!" while she was in the middle of taking a drag from her cigarette, he would test this automatic defense of hers. A child walking by with their parents was munching on popcorn and Rav would create a small, nearly invisible orbital field and snag a kernel from the top. He would increase the rotation, and then at the right trajectory, he'd launch it at Toki's forehead. It wasn't traveling fast enough to do anything more than be an annoyance, but if her quirk worked at this level? He'd need to keep her in mind for the future.

After all, what were the odds that after his little adventure with Mummy and her super regeneration quirk that he'd find a nobody with a quirk to defend them automatically? Between those two and Laila things were moving a lot quicker than he expected and that was such a good thing. "So, if you're a nobody, then you're probably looking for work, hmm~?"

Toki gives a drawn out little sigh as the man does his best to go into more detail about himself. This answers some questions, of course, but it raises an equal amount that she would like to ask.. But she doesn't want to be annoying to this guy she just met. She nods her head up and down before rolling her shoulders and responding, "Force of habit, I guess.. Sorry to be a wet-blanket, mister.. Eheheh.." She raises her cigarette to take a long drag from it, filling her lungs with smoke and slowly losing a bit of tenseness she had built up over the conversation and just- generally being in such a public place.. Having people with the ability to get a good look at her in such a cheery place.. she doesn't want anyone to get the wrong idea of her. She really doesn't want to be seen as some wayward student looking for a fun time, to be honest.[break][break]

Usually, Toki's quirk would not detect such a small infraction towards her, but the small amount of movement does not escape her passive senses, coupled with the fact that Toki is extremely on-edge here in Dream Land.. In the blink of an eye, Toki is a whole body's length to the left of where the kernel is headed, seeming to not have noticed her own lightning-fast movements in the slightest until a couple of seconds after the fact. She glances down at her feet and then back up at Ravindra, "Popcorn..? Really? Tch.." She gives the slightest of smiles as she scoffs and shakes her head back and forth before piping up again, "You'd be hardpressed tryin' ta hittin' me with a bullet, respectfully, mister."[break][break]

The slight glimpse of entertainment is short-lived, however, as the man brings up the subject of employment. Toki Tomari has NEVER had a job before.. She hasn't committed any crimes on the behalf of anyone else, or really solely for the expense of anyone either. She squints at Ravindra. She tentatively shrugs one of her shoulders before asking, "Work, eh? What can you offer me? What am I gettin' out of this..? What makes ya think you can just snag me up so suddenly..?" She doesn't mean it confrontationally, but her gruff and tired voice might not communicate that.. she might come off a little abrasive, but she genuinely wants to know why she could entertain the idea.

Meanwhile her eyes lock on a particularly gaudy-looking sorbet dish, three colorful balls of the stuff contained within a cup with little sprinkles layered on top. Such a meal would be incredibly childish, even if it looks delicious, so her eyes quickly avert towards the same thing that Ravindra requested from the stall. "Honestly..? Ya got me there, chief, I haven't hit the road just yet. So- What are we talking, exactly."
