Some people, however, especially unique or interesting individuals, will catch Renka's attention in a completely different way. What began as selfish self-serving will gave way to verifiable obsession, wherein Renka sees her life as worthless and meaningless without the object of her obsession somewhere in her orbit. This leads to a very unhealthy cycle, where Renka engages in risky, impulsive activities so that she may ensure that the object of her obsession stays in her orbit no matter the cost, from stalking, extreme jealousy, and even murder of those she sees as threat to her relationship with her obsession. Invariably, the object of her obsession gets freaked out by all of the aforementioned horrors, and they attempt to escape Renka's "love", leading to the last and final stage of Renka's obsession. When her fear of abandonment and betrayal is triggered, Renka falls headlong into extreme panic and fury, and becomes desperate to keep her obsession just to herself. Incapable of dealing with these emotions in a healthy way, Renka instead lashes out, often either killing or severely maiming the object of her obsession, usually with the misguided goal to keep the obsession from leaving her. If she can't have them, nobody can.
Unfortunately, before the obsession kicks in, Renka hides this side of herself surprisingly well. To the world, she is a friendly and cheerful girl, more than a little flirtatious, with a bubbly, fun-loving side. Few people live to tell the tale of what lurks beneath that facade.

It was at this time that Renka was kicked out of her parents house and began a long string of couch surfing, often living with romantic flings for weeks at a time until they got sick of her. It was only when Renka picked up work as an escort and hostess that her life began to stabilize, wherein she was finally earning a livable wage to warrant her own apartment, and finally getting the attention she had been deprived of for so long.
Unfortunately, Renka simply isn't suited for such an industry, and frequently curated relationships with clients, a practice forbidden in hostess and escort circles.
