Zeke and his brother, Nihlus, were orphaned during a villainous reign of terror in Italy; he doesn't really remember his parents, so while their absence represented a rather large hole in his life, it's not one he remembers fully to begin with. So, he and Nihlus bounced around orphanages until a particularly wealthy family took them in.
A dream come true, right? Not so much. This rich family bit was a front for some criminal syndicate researching particularly powerful quirks. He and his brother were separated, and so Zeke was left alone among these many malicious minds. For years, they poked and prodded. They forced him to express his quirk in as many ways as possible. Forced him to fight others, too. Eventually, his power grew too volatile, volatile... and powerful enough that he managed to escape.
Zeke had released not only himself, but some of the others this dark organization had captured. They were in an unknown land, far from home, and the chase was on. Their captors would not let them go so easily. Many were retaken in the escape, but Zeke had escaped with the help of another former captive, Natalia. They reached a nearby fishing village and found they were now in Japan.
They tried for the authorities, but this only appeared to signal the syndicate to their location, drawing their attention and seeing the police officers involved all killed. Many attempts were made to take Zeke and Natalia back, so they stayed on the move. Theirs was not strictly a defensive effort, though. Zeke needed to find Nihlus, so the two searched and searched, to no avail. Eventually, they would become an item bound by trauma and support.
And like all else in the boy's life, it was not meant to last. They were found and cornered by their enemies. In a last stand, Natalia gave her life, using an immensely powerful quirk to level the building they hid out in. Zeke never found the body. He did, however, find a name. Ouroboros. He beat it from a dying man’s last breath. Since then, Zeke has been on the prowl, making a few connections and Allie’s, hunting for Ouroboros and his brother. He came close only once, encountering one of the notorious "Fangs of Ouroboros:" their very best agents. While he survived this recent encounter, it required such an extreme use of his quirk that his body has been left mostly broken. Yet still, he persists.

QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Zeke's body is lined with a quirk factor that emits specialized radiation that multiplies the force output of nearly anything within his personal space. Essentially, he packs a lot more punch behind his attack. Whether jabbing with his fist, swinging a blade, or firing a gun, the attack will become profoundly powerful as more force is added to the blow. Additionally, the blows delivered while touched by this radiation loose concussive blasts. This quirk increases Zeke's strength to quirk rank when focusing this radiation on himself. He can also buff up to one nearby ally's strength by one rank per quirk tier.
QUIRK DRAWBACKS: Zeke can only focus on a limited number of objects. He can deliver that extra firepower through an attack, a weapon or an object. He can't cause the air around him to suddenly explode with extra force or bequeath his strength to too many people or objects at once. There's only so much of this radiation to go around in a single moment. Additionally, using higher firepower moves can easily backfire, as it has in the past, causing Zeke to harm himself. And lastly, using his quirk for too long will tax him physically, draining him of his strength.
