''Tradition you say? Kanjo-san, pray tell, how many of these sleepovers have you partaken in?'' She wasn't odd for not knowing these things, for not having grown up with these experiences. Friends, a social circle, people she could rely on... Was she? She had always known she wasn't the best at making friends, but Jun was starting to make her realize just how much of a weirdo she was. Then again, how much of it was Masao herself, and how much of it was the way she was raised? She couldn't say for sure, all she knew was that despite barely talking to anyone on campus, the students at UAU was the closest she had ever gotten to other people so far.

''Indeed, we lead busy lives.'' She pondered the whole situation for a moment, getting kind of lost in thought as she wondered what Jun's upbringing might have been like, and how and where the two of them differed. ''...Baeber?'' She looked at Jun, stoic, but ever so slightly dumbfounded. ''I do not know of this Baeber knight you speak of.'' She paused for a moment, maybe she should just come out and explain it all to Jun. How much would she retain in her current state? She had no idea, but it was worth a try. ''My quirk, my armor, is considered a sign that you are fit to lead the Ando family. It has been passed down in my family since the genesis of quirks as we know them. Similarly, whoever has the armor, must inherit the hero name, Paragon. What type of knight that is, I cannot simply explain to you, but in a sense this name is built on its own kind of tradition.''

[attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... Jun took in a deep breath, definitely impressed with Masao. Though it was questionable how much she'd remember. "Exactly like Baeber! And I know all the rules of the sleepover, and I know the very first thing we're doing is watching her fight for the Holy Grail!" She pointed at Masao, grinning ear to ear. "And just because I have never been to one doesn't mean I don't know how they work!" She swayed a little on her feet, exhaustion beginning to eat away at her. Realizing this, she abandoned the idea of making potatoes and went back to her plate. "I thiiiiink Imma go watch some of that. You should come with me! And then we'll talk about your boyfriend!" A fact that Jun had already forgotten. Though it was more likely she'd pass out. Masao Ando

She felt like a grandmother listening to her granddaughter harp on about some new fangled slang that was entirely foreign to her, but Jun seemed excited to she just nodded along. Whatever Baeber was it clearly meant a lot to Jun, at least in the moment. Masao didn't mind at all that Jun was so fixated on being in the moment, it was probably easier than thinking about the past and getting into all sorts of... Feelsy, sappy stuff. ''I suppose that is a valid point. One does not need practical experience to be aware of basic concepts.''

She got a little nervous when Jun swayed on her feet, but thankfully she didn't trip over herself. She couldn't help but hesitate, looking at the mess they had created together. With a small sigh she brushed it aside. She could clean it once Jun had fallen asleep and apologize to whoever tried to use the common kitchen next. ''I will gladly accompany you.'' She said, following Jun on whatever crazy journey she was about to take her on. ''However, I do not have a boyfriend. As I previously mentioned I do not have time for such things as romance or companionship.'' She was very firm on that point. No romance, no secret romance, in fact there was no romance in her life at all and it was going to stay that way! She was going to grow old, retire and never be married, never date, never any of that. ''Could it be that what you mean to say is that you have a boyfriend that you want to talk about?''

[attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... Jun leaned over and looked back at Masao, blinking. "Whaaaaaaaa? No way, a girl pretty like you could totally get a boyfriend!" Of course, at the word "boyfriend" Jun started giggling maniacally to herself because...well, it was ridiculous. Especially when Masao mentioned she probably had one. "Hahahaha, no! I don't have time for dating! I'm too busy with painting and heroing and and and, taters!" She held up her plate with a goofy smile, heading back towards her dorm. "If Ana comes back, just smile and wave! She may sound mean, but she's super nice and I like her!" She paused when she got to the door, thinking. "...Did I bring Fate from home? It's in my stack right...? Oh, Masao, you're here! Did you know what I did with my copy of Fate?" She opened the door and went in, no doubt to start her fixation on finding Fate. Masao Ando

She narrowed her eyes a bit at Jun. ''I appreciate the compliment, Kanjo-san, but I somehow doubt that.'' It wasn't exactly her looks she was worried about, but if she really had to get into it, she didn't know the first thing about being a woman. She didn't know what kind of dress looked good on her, didn't know how to apply her makeup beyond the basic stuff. She didn't know how to walk in high heels, or what girls usually even talked about. That wasn't getting into the fact that she had a man's name, she was expected to take over the family business as a man even though she wasn't and to top it all off, she wasn't good with people either! Her? Get a boyfriend? Preposterous, ridiculous. Jun didn't know her as well as she knew herself. She didn't see all the ways that she was flawed... She didn't see all the ways she felt weird, or out of touch with her emotions. Not because she wanted to be cool, but because it was genuinely hard for her to express them as well as other people. She took a deep breath. ''Besides, I'm too tall.'' She turned her head away from Jun in embarrassment.

''See, that was exactly what I was getting at. You have your painting and your taters. I have my training and my weapons. I'm too busy with that too.'' She gave a casual shrug. ''We aree the same, you and I.'' They totally weren't, but she wasn't about to look like a fool over Jun's silly antics and questions. ''Is that your roommate? Duly noted.'' She wondered why Jun stopped at the door, but didn't say anything. Despite being a bit of a wreck herself, at least Jun was actually having fun and not freaking out while feeling numb, or anything else she could be feeling. ''Fate? Your fate is your own, surely, I cannot affect or decide that one for you. Unless you mean Fate as in a book, or a movie, in which case no I haven't the faintest what you are talking about.'' She followed after Jun.

[attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... Jun walked in, the clear divide of the room being evident. Ana's side was orderly, neat, and clean; Jun's was a partial wreck. Her bed unmade, books and DVD cases strewn about. Jun approached a stand that had a mountain of them stacked on top, muttering, "Fate, Fate, Fate, Fate, Fate!" repeatedly. "Youuuuu are pretty talk! But some guy might like that!" She giggled. "'Some guys like a woman that can kick their ass!'" It was a clear reference to something else, though Masao wouldn't know that. And Jun was still a little too high to realize that she cursed. "Aha!" She pulled a set free, holding it above her head. On the cover would be a similarly armored woman to Masao, only she was blonde instead. "I didn't leave it home! Or...did I bring it with me last time I left? I dunno! C'mon!" She brought up a portable DVD player and began to fiddle with the case. And after much effort managed to get the disc in to play it. Masao Ando

The divide in the room was more than a little jarring to say the least. Ana's side seemed nice, almost reminded her of her own room with how neat and clean and orderly it appeared. Now Jun's side however... She was willing to let her off the hook for now, mainly because she was hurt and because she bet she wouldn't be able to keep up with her chores either if she was on pain medications herself.

She crossed her arm at Jun's reply and resigned to hanging back a bit while her friend looked for the Fate DVD. ''Those guys you describe are nothing short of depraved deviants.'' She said harshly, her face turning red, a little surprised to hear that come out of Jun of all people. She still vividly remembered Jun getting into an argument with Yoko over drinking at the yacht party. ''Besides, should you be swearing? That's unheroic behavior, Kanjo-san.'' She said it as if she never swore herself which was definitely a lie. She just wasn't as unhinged about as someone like Gen or Ylva.

Once Jun found the DVD she couldn't help but take a peek. ''You are correct, that armor does bear a striking resemblance to mine.'' Maybe it was wishful thinking since this was an anime movie and all, but maybe she could learn something from watching it? ''How many times have you seen this DVD?'' She blinked her eyes and found an appropriate place to sit. Oh well, even if she learned nothing at least she knew Jun wasn't alone and freaking out about what she had gone through.

[attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... Jun held up her finger, thinking. "We have to watch that next!" she says, followed by the humming of some ancient song. As the movie began to boot up Jun looked up to think. "Uhhhhh. Enough? I dunno, I tend to watch other shows more often than this. But this one's nice! Gives me weird funny feelings, though," she says, scratching her chin as she let out a yawn as the show started. After about ten minutes Jun slowly started to nod off, the moving pictures and sounds not enough to keep her attention as the drugs began to really take affect. Slumping to the side, forgetting that Masao was there, she let out a muttered, "Baeber, noooo," before beginning to snore lightly. Masao Ando

Jun was certainly an enigma when she was affected by drugs. She felt bad for thinking it, but she was starting to realize why Jun might be so adverse to getting drunk, and it wasn't just because it would mess up her diet, or workout routine. She could only imagine what kind of beast drunk Jun would be and she prayed, both for her and Jun's sake that she never saw that day. Naturally she didn't recognize the song, but hey, Jun was in a good mood, right?

She expected her to have watched the DVD many times, but her answer somehow still left her with more questions than answers. ''Weird funny feelings? How do you figure?'' She asked, but immediately regretted asking since she knew Jun would just go on another rant anyways, and she was getting in the way of the film watching with her own constant talking. As the show started she turned her attention to the TV. Might as well since this was her life for... However long the runtime of this thing was. Once the show really got going she couldn't help but start overanalyzing, her brain kicking into gear as she theorized about where the plot points would go and tried to pinpoint what internal logic of the power systems were. She hated to admit it, but she was getting into it in her own, nerdy way. When Jun slumped to the side it startled her a bit, but she didn't move for fear of startling Jun. ''Kanjo-san?'' She asked softly, looking over at the other girl. ''Junsuina Kanjo-san?'' She blinked her eyes and looked closer. Yup. Out like a light. Then she looked back at the DVD, then Jun, then back at the DVD.

...Perhaps it was best she stayed by her side until roommate Ana made it back, just in case.

And that was exactly what she did, either staying there until the episode was over, or until Ana made it back. Once she got up, she made sure to be extra careful to not wake Jun and made sure to tuck her in and put the DVD back where Jun had found it, because yes Masao had committed that to memory. As she left to go to her own room, she couldn't help but shudder a little bit. She really hoped she never got badly hurt enough to be put on some of that same medicine.
