In the criminal underworld, there were strings of fate connecting hundreds - even thousands - of people. From time to time, one of the strings in Akita’s web would be tugged on and his attention would be drawn elsewhere. For a price, he’d offer up his services to whoever called - and this one was someone he happened to owe a favor. Doctors that would help you recover from wounds that were obviously from fights were rare nowadays. People like Akita couldn’t afford to go to hospitals. Instead, they had to seek help from those on the outskirts of society. Akita owed a doctor like that a favor. The thing was, though, that Akita was absolutely certain that he didn’t want to show up in his usual costume so he decided he’d need some sort of disguise instead.
The doctor owned a coffee shop and usually worked alone. That meant that some sort of barista outfit was probably Akita’s best bet. He could wear an autumn festivities mask, and get away with no one recognizing him. Akita packed a little apron in the colors associated with the cafe in case there wasn’t an extra one in the coffee shop. In the bag he’d carry to show up to “work”, he’d have his gear. Hopefully he wouldn’t have to use his venom bomb indoors, though.
Kysaly was the type of person that could attract bad attention real fast, and Akita guessed something spooked them if they were asking Akita for protection. As far as Akita understood, the good ol’ doc was dealing with some sort of stalker. Those were never great to deal with. Akita’s outfit idea would allow them to harmoniously blend in, and though Akita’s form wasn’t very menacing, hopefully whatever stalker Kysaly was dealing with got scared off whenever they realized someone else was there. Akita didn’t want to get into a fight that would cause any sort of destruction in the coffee shop, but as long as Kysaly avoided his venom then he’d do what was needed of him since Kysaly’s life mattered the most here.
Akita would show up at the back door of the coffee shop, staring up at the camera that watched the back and waving before he knocked on the door. It was kind of cold this morning, so he wore a jacket. Hopefully it was warmer inside, and Akita was pretty sure he’d be getting some of that coffee for himself to warm up. He waited there, wondering if he too was being watched. Did the stalker have enough free time for that? Dealing with that thought every day had to be plenty scary.

[attr="class","AudenContain"] [attr="class","AudenHidden"] Bad Vibes and Good Drinks[attr="class","AudenBody"] KysalyUsually, the issue of Kysaly's safety was always up in the air. They worked on people of all walks of life, which meant that it was easy to be faced with uncomfortable situations. They'd gotten death threats by more than one person with both guns and knives. For the most part, those types of interactions meant nothing to them, as it was something that was part of the job. Going to heal criminals in your free time? You have a high chance of getting your head cut off. Thankfully, many of the people that used them for their services understood that they were trustworthy to a certain degree.
Sadly, that also meant that they could get a bit too comfortable. Recently, there had been someone stalking them; coming into the café every day, asking when they would leave to do other things, wanting to know personal information... It was all a bit too much.
Hearing someone at the back door of the shop, they'd open it only after having a vague idea of who it was. "Hm, thanks for being able to show up for me here, I've been a bit worried." It wasn't often that someone with their expertise with people are actually worried for their safety. "It's good to have you here, can I get you something to drink or eat first?"
