✧ THE REMNANTS OF THE RAGNAROCKERS ✧
Shibuya Prefecture, The headquarters of The Ragnarockers from Boss Battles [IA] - 4 weeks and two days after the Dream World Incident.
“...They went out to sea?” Carrion balked at the idea that a bunch of shitty vigilantes would take a boat and sail around. “Probably out for more junk.” he would pick up one of the ‘junk items’ that the Ragnarockers kept in their base and inspect it before putting it back down. “Sol, you listening? These are your people; we’re here to investigate, not daydream.”
The woman standing a distance away from him was known as ‘The Underworld Hero: Sol’ with a quirk that fit her epithet called ‘Soul Fire’. A former Ragnarocker who had reformed and became a Pro Hero was the best person to investigate her old squad and what the sudden change they experienced was all about. They had fled to the sea, and from the reports of those who came into contact with them said they were acting uncharacteristically violent. She knew firsthand that none of them, especially Hati, went out of their way to harm individuals. Sure, they had occasionally dealt with collateral damage, but who hadn’t?
“I…just don’t understand. I know Yggdrasil well; she wouldn’t have agreed to this.” She would check a compartment in one of the drawers in which Heimdall always kept any intel. It was empty except for a small picture of Takako, his sister, who had gone missing not long ago.
“Listen Sol. All I know is that these guys were “acting” suspect once they started their return trip from their little pirate adventure.” He’d approach Sol, looking at what she was inspecting. “Don’t get caught up in nostalgia. They decided to stay criminals, and WE took the path we needed to. Is it really that hard to believe that they’d go a little nuts?”
Sol would contemplate the question. The heroes and various aligned others who managed to take most of them down meant that only a fraction of her old gang could be questioned: Surtr, Heimdall, Jörmungandr, and Skölll. She had managed to use her connection to them to speak to them in the facility where they were being held. They were all confused and said the same thing when their ship reached the spot where Yggdrasil had told them to meet her. When they got there, they felt an intense pain, and all they remember was waking up here.
“It just doesn’t make any sense...Yggdrasil would never lead them on a wild goose chase.” As she continued inspecting the HQ, her and Carrion’s phone would go out with an emergency alert. An alert from…Starling Soul??? As the two gathered to read the message, Sol’s eyes widened in shock. An order to gather as many willing heroes as possible and start an assault that only meant one thing. “Carrion, please take over the investigation. There’s only one reason Sköll would agree to something so dangerous.”She was there, and she was in trouble.
