i. introduction
Nihil Lux, or nil for short, is an organization that specializes in covert operations and espionage. Sworn to secrecy by its members and allies, only the government and the hero association are aware of its presence. Agents therefore act as freelancers to the public eye, or may even be employed in different companies altogether.
ii. levels
The standing of each agent is outlined by levels, which dictates their eligibility in missions as well as access to certain information within the agency. The higher the level, the more authority they hold over those of a lower level. Specific rules apply to only levels 0 and 1.
level 0.
Everyone starts here. In the field, level 0 agents are always accompanied by a level 2 or higher. Missions only consist of reconnaissance and members are to disengage should they be compromised.
level 1.
Level 1 agents may no longer have a partner should they choose not to have one, but it doesn't mean they're alone. A level 2 or higher still accompanies them whether they realize it or not.
