[attr="class","header"]Bored on Patrol
[attr="class","body"]For the most part, tonight had been a relatively quiet night. He had stopped a burglary, but punches hadn't been thrown. Kozue had stepped in wearing his helmet and bat, and the guy bolted. Was it good the store didn't get robbed? Yea. But that didn't do Kozue any favors on curing his boredom. Given how this night had dragged on, Kozue had grown antsy. He was itching for a fight. Work today had been brutal, with him working a rush solo, only to get chewed out by his boss on the way out. Kozue just needed someone to vent against. Giving a sigh, Kozue sat down atop the ledge of a nearby rooftop, lettings his legs dangle. He leaned against his aluminum bat, looking over the ledge for something of interest. A purse snatcher. A mugger. A robbery. Anything. While a crime free night was good for the people of Tokyo, it wasn't for this vigilante.
He slipped off the bag that he had slung over his shoulder, and set it down beside him, setting his bat beside that. For being a vigilante, his "outfit" wasn't anything special. A red sleeveless hoodie, along with black jeans, sneakers, and the black duffel bag he was currently searching through. The only thing that made him look even remotely serious was the black modified biker's helmet helmet strapped to his head, fully concealing his face and identity. Taking a bottle of water from his bag, he unscrewed the top, before disconnecting the voice modulator from his mask, and lifting it up to reveal his mouth. He brought the bottle up to his lips and took a swig. Given his quirk, it was probably best to stay hydrated. Preventative methods were usually your best bet when dealing with heat exhaustion.
Despite having only done this vigilante thing for a few months, he was really starting to feel like a professional. He was getting a good understanding of this part of Shibuya and had a few pretty good patrol spots marked out. And he was even expanding his range, trying out new areas, like the one he was tonight. But given how slow tonight had been, he wasn't sure of how likely he was to returning here. He had overheard rumors of a group of twins who were robbing local convenience stores over on this part of the ward, but tonight had ben quiet. It was probably just a rumor anyways.
Looking up at the black Tokyo sky, he sighed, detaching the police scanner he had strapped to his belt. Most of what he had heard over it had been mindless chatter. A few drunks and general misconduct. Nothing worth getting involved in. He was looking for something big. Or at the very least interesting. He flipped a few switches, making sure the little radio was still working, before clipping it back on his belt and taking another sip of water. Today had just not been his day, and it sucked that tonight didn't seem to be his night tonight either. "Man, I'd kill for some action." Kozue said with a sigh, screwing the cap back on his bottle and stuffing it into the bag. As much as he hated things being quiet, he was aware that it still needed to be done. If he wanted to be a hero, he had to get hands on experience. This was his best option. Only one he could really accomplish.
