[attr="class","header2"]OVERVIEW
» NAME: Daisuke Hollow
» AGE: 21
» GENDER: Male
» AFFILIATION: Vigilante [Ex-Hero Class]
» ALIAS: Kagesaru/Saru or Dai [Friends]
» OCCUPATION: Vigilante/Hitman

First impressions often lead people to thinking Dai is cold and uncaring due to his lack of emotion and expression, but that couldn't be further from the truth. In reality, ever since he lost his twin he has mostly worn a neutral expression and struggles with expressing himself naturally, as if the connection between his brain and emotions has been constrained. Regardless, Dai is surprisingly trusting of people when first meeting them and cares a lot for others, willing to risk his life to aid those who need it. He doesn't think all Villains classify as 'evil' either, nor do all non-villains classify as 'good'. He is often friendly and supportive to those around him, and he'll take a friend's secret to the grave.
To those that get to know him, no matter how friendly the relationship is it always feels like he is just out reach mentally, as if there is always an invisible wall cutting him off from others. He can also be pretty sarcastic and rather blunt when he feels he needs to be, especially when it comes to the topic of how to treat people who have gone too far. On that topic, he shows a shocking amount of cruelty, likely linked to what he experienced before help arrived the day his twin and mentor died.

Dai was born into a traditional clan that prided themselves on their skills in the martial-art style of Ninpo. Daisuke and his twin, Tobisuke, were sons of the Clan Head, Jinkei. However their mother was not from the clan, nor Jinkei's wife, Sukemari. She had been a courtesan, and as such, she gave up the twins as soon as they were born and returned to her life, leaving them on Jinkei's doorstep. It had been Sukemari that had found them and the hasty note scribbled on a scrap of paper that explained who they were. For a brief moment, the twins had death loom over them in the form of the wife of their father, but her decision not to blame them for her husband's disloyalty is what saved them. Instead, perhaps influenced by her inability to have a child thus far, she took them in and gave them each a name stemming from her own.
The two were raised in mind to become Heroes and represent their family, as their uncle had before them, and were trained from an early age in their family's style of Ninpo. Between the two, Dai had always been slightly lesser than his brother. It took him longer to learn and memorize such a broad style, and he could never move as effortlessly as Tobi. Still, he gave it his all to keep up, often training despite injuries or pushing himself dangerously far just to not fall too far behind his twin. Through what seemed like perseverance alone, Dai was still accepted into U.A. the year he turned eighteen, the same year as Daisuke. Thus, the two brothers set out for the big city.
Despite being twins, Dai & Tobi were nearly polar opposites. Where Dai was reserved and serious, Tobi was easy-going and kind. Too kind, in Dai's opinion. In their second year they worked at a Hero Agency and shadowed a Hero known as Cypher, and more than a few times they ran into conflicts with Villains where they were separated from their Hero chaperone. It was often these times that the brothers would fight, mostly because of Dai's extreme views on how to deal with those he deemed 'evil'. To him, jail was not enough. They could always be released or escape to hurt more people. Tobi however was adamant that all people deserved second-chances, so the two could clash whenever they took down a villain until Cypher eventually found them and managed to break them up.
Dai had always believed his brother and mentor were being soft by letting evil people live, but he was always outnumbered on the topic and eventually backed down. Had he not been right, he may have gone on to become a Hero. But, one night when the twins and their mentor were out patrolling, things went horribly wrong.
They were on the rooftops scouting when they heard a scream and the cry of a child from the top floor of their building, and Dai hesitated as Tobi shot forward with Cypher immediately going after him over the edge and into the building through a window. Dai dove after them a second later but as he swung into the room, a coil of barbed wire caught him around the throat like a snare and tossed him hard against the wall before he even had a chance to land. Dazed, Dai slumped against the wall with the sharp tendril still tight around his neck. He could do little more than watch as his twin and mentor fought for their lives. The villain that controlled the tendrils of barbed wire had been taken down by the trio a few days prior, but Dai would later learn he had escaped during transit and returned with a grudge. In the small room, the Villain was far stronger than he had been out in the open. He quickly over-powered the Hero and his side-kick, and by the time help arrived Dai was the only survivor, and even then they had nearly been too late.
After he recovered and returned to school, he quickly began catching the notice of his peers, but not in a good way. If given even the slightest opportunity, he would try to kill Villains he deemed evil, and was caught numerous times making them suffer or injuring them slowly. Unsurprisingly, he was eventually kicked out of U.A. after an incident involving a video of him being posted online by a bystander that showed him cruelly killing a villain on a rooftop. After that he vanished from the law and began to reappear as a vigilante. Though he has been known to also do jobs as a Hitman for hire, surprisingly willing to even work with villains, he is picky with his targets and will only kill those he views as evil.

QUIRK NAME: Sanzaru Link
QUIRK RANK: C-
QUIRK TYPE: Emitter
QUIRK DESCRIPTION:
This Quirk can create a sensory link between the user & target. When linked, the user can transfer his sensory inputs to the target, or vise versa, to essentially 'share' senses. However, it can only link 3 of the 5 basic senses; touch, sight, & hearing. To establish a link, the user must ingest organic matter belonging to the target [With OOC Consent], such as a hair, blood, etc. Although this quirk's true strength lies in espionage, it does have a few offensive abilities should a link be present during combat. One method is by Dai sharing his vision with the target to disorient them, effectively making them see what Dai sees. Another is by sharing his sense of touch, which causes the target to feel any pain inflicted on Dai himself. This however only applies to the pain itself, the wound/injury causing said pain remains with the original body, in this case Dai's.
QUIRK DRAWBACKS:
This power is most effective the closer the target is to the user, and should the target move too far from the user the link will become strained and harder to maintain. Also, although he can share/trade all 3 senses simultaneously, doing so expends a lot of energy and fatigues him quickly, as well as poses a higher risk of disorienting himself; restricting him to linking 1 or 2 senses at a time unless in an emergency situation. The link will also be broken should he become unconscious or too exhausted to maintain it, and he can only maintain one link at a time.
