[attr="class","rhythm"] Yusuke had slowly distancing himself from being one of the actual performers of his MONSTERBAT shows, rather taking advantage of the persona to allow other people to don the helmet and cycle through different performers on the concert.  Such a transition had been working in his favor that he had more time to work on some experiments in the crawlspaces of his apartment when he was finished mixing audio and songs for the music performances. Also during his free time did Yusuke take more times acting as MØNSTERBAT, his vigilante persona that used his own music label as a pseudonym and alibi.  More of a hiding in plain sight kind of alibi, especially with him working in the more technical sides and utilizing others working to muddy the waters for those performing investigations on him.  As MØNSTERBAT, he would have found himself coming upon a lead as he flew over Tokyo Harbor one evening, finding himself landing atop one of the harbor machines as he was enjoying his lunch.  "Balogna Sandwich, you never fail to impress," He chimed to himself as he munched on his lunch that he kept in a ziplock within his puffy jacket, doing some people watching as cargo crates were being lifted up and off of some ships. However, as he ate one, he heard an odd sound.  Pausing, he would stop his chewing to focus more on his hearing.  Besides the pitter patter of dock workers walking, the splashing of the waves, the groaning of the ships' stressed metals.  And the most haunting sound of all, a deft BONG, BONG, BONG....  BONG BONG BONG. The distinct sound of one of the metal crates ringing out, as if someone was slamming a hand on it through the interior of it.  Now that he was quiet, he was hearing quite a bit more things.  Voices, very faint from where he was located, but one that would slam on the crate in response barking angrily in words that were too far away to make out.  Then the crates would stop the banging sound.  Another that Yusuke could hear from his nearby position was the sound of radio crackle, with a person speaking into it that sounded authoritative and Yusuke was only able to pick up on every other third or seventh word... "CRKKKKKT...  Sergeant......  Position.....  Warrant needed......  What.....  wait?....  F!@$!" Before hearing the sound of plastic slam into plastic, like a police radio.  If what Yusuke was getting out of this was accurate, it means something shady is going on in these docks and the police were performing a sting operation. As much as Yusuke knew that he should probably work with the police on this one, something screamed at him to act now.  After all, the banging within the storage crates on the ship just concerned him in a big way.  Because on the one hand it could be some rowdy animal or creature that was desperate to get out.  The other, much more dire option, was that it was some sort of trafficking operation of humans.  Regardless, he needed to do his own investigation before acting.  "Ughhhh, when the city sleeps, the bat comes to sweep," He gave himself a motivational pep-talk as he ensured that he'd be covered by the lack of moonlight this evening.  Kicking off of the crane, he would start flying and gliding above the ship, using his Echolocation abilities to get the lay of the land and hopefully gain more information.... [Teji Sanzo "Limbo"]

When the sun had set and villainy came out to play... Teji was busy drinking coffee. Black, of course, given that she had already downed two entire mugs of the stuff and lacing it with sugar would be a one way ticket to the doctor's office—assuming the copious caffeine wasn't. A quick four hour nap after work was all the rest she'd get for now, lured to action as whispered stirring in the underground had tipped the secret villain off to something interesting.

The woman sighed, stretching a bit before slipping into her costume with some difficulty. "I really need to buy better shit." The sorry state of her gear. Rookie equipment in the hands of a seasoned pro! Her manager's salary wasn't quite enough to cover for a one bedroom apartment and cushy civilian life ALONGSIDE funding an entire illegal moonlighting trade, and Limbo often saw stolen wealth distributed to those in need, but Sanzo was seriously considering getting an upgrade.

By the time the mighty magician had taken to the darkened rooftops and streets of Tokyo the night was in full swing. The low light would be perfect smokescreen for his activities today. Word along the grapevine pointed toward some sort of smuggling operation bringing in valuable cargo this very night—and relieving dirty criminals of their hard earned cargo was always such a delight. 

As Limbo slipped through the docks things became much more complicated. Undercover police presence—unmarked cars with bright, alert men dressed too well and cleanly for the area parked just out of reasonable sight from the shipping area. It seemed the authorities had caught wind of what was going just as easily as he had. 

Skilled as he may be, Limbo was not arrogant. Stealing from wary and armed thugs was one thing. Stealing from wary and armed thugs while a large police presence was setting up jaws for a trap was another. The magician considering pulling out, leaning over the edge of a dockside warehouse and staring at the boat contemplatively.

A flitting shadow caught his eye—Limbo swiveling his head up and straining to pick out anything against the black sky among the light pollution. A thought crossed the villain's mind. "Bonjour." Spoken in a soft but clear whisper, distorted by his suit's mask to sound almost robotic yet masculine. Limbo waited, seeing if anything would respond.
