Ah, this was a bit embarrassing. He wanted to be better than other heroes, but at the same time he didn't want to pretend that his combat prowess was something to smile amount. He was weak when it came to hand-to-hand combat, and relied more on wearing his opponent out or hoping that they couldn't catch him. It could work sometimes, but other times there was a complete fear that came over him at the idea of losing in a fight that he could have prepared for.

That was why he had decided to go to a dojo that he had heard about. It had been operating for quite a while, and it was low-key enough that hopefully his presence would go under the radar. Auden wasn't exactly sure when was a good time to show up either, but he case semi-prepared with some looser fitted clothing and his hair tied back. It was the thought that counted, and he wasn't expecting someone to start training him just because he was a hero or because he was semi-famous as a model, clothing designer and CEO. Today, he went there for Auden and Auden alone, without anything else attached to him.

With a deep breath, Auden would go to what looked like the main entrance and peek his head through.

Another day, another shift at his family's dojo.

It was routine at this point. Sousuke didn't have any classes to teach today, so he spent his time on maintenance. Raking the last few leaves that had fallen as the autumn season reached its conclusion. Polishing the glass cases that held their awards free of fingerprints. Switching some lightbulbs he noticed were no longer working. The building was old but his family took great pride in helping it stand against the test of time.

The sparrow was sweeping the hallways now, the last chore he was to complete before he got a well deserved break. He passed by his father's training room, smiling at the headlock one of the man's students was giving another before moving on. He eventually reached the entrance, smiling at a stranger who seemed interested in what they were doing.

The smile dropped when he recognized the hair and wings.

There was no mistaking it; the person standing there was the CEO of Rising Phoenix. That talent agency he cry-laughed about when his cousin mistook it for a place that built dioramas but was otherwise still pretty big. What was he doing here? Actually, forget that, he needed to go.

Sousuke glanced back frantically to make sure his dad was unaware of their new guest before he flew to the entrance, blocking the blonde's entry by holding the broom horizontally against the doorway. He shook his head with pursed lips. Please leave, you do not want to be here.

Hopefully he wasn't too obvious. He tried his best to tuck his wings behind his back, but it was really hard for them not to stand out. He had just gotten done getting them professionally cleaned and maintained, so he had been told to keep them up to dry and set properly. Because of that, they were extra extra shiny, and quite soft to the touch.

As he felt himself get excited about being able to go and get some training, some feathered fellow came to block his way. He'd blink downwards just a tad, his eyes looking at the man through his sunglasses. Was he doing that for a reason? Auden peeked behind him and wondered if it was because the floors were wet. "Um... Are you closed?" They didn't sound closed, with the distant grunts and movements of those training.

"I was wanting to try to see if I could get some lessons..." He wasn't sure if the person in front of him would be able to help him, but it was clear that he didn't want Auden coming into the establishment. Maybe he didn't dress correctly? His red eyes would go down and scan his clothing; sure, he hadn't gotten time to get himself a gi, but it was still good enough, right? "Is there no open enrollment right now? I could come back another time if so." The things that he said were all that he could think about, as he was certain that the person in front of him didn't hate him. If he did, then Auden truly wasn't sure why. To try to brighten whatever anger the other may have towards him, he would look to his back and then point. "I like your wings, they're so elegant."
