"Alright, good job! Next time, let's try to limit the number of crotch shots you go for, Tanaka, that was a bit excessive and, literally, below the belt. This is training, your classmates don't deserve that. NOW! Let's do... uhhhh, Miroru-san versus Poetri-san next."

The petite redhead popped up and ran her hands through her hair, flattening back her fox ears a moment before they popped upright again. A quick shove of her sleeves got them above her elbows, showing off the bandaged forearms on each side. They didn't seem to be covering existing damage, judging by how she moved, rolled her wrists and shook out her hands, but there was likely some reason she was wearing those.

She took her place on the packed earth of the training fields and looked back towards the class, unsure if she remembered which one was Poetri-san. That was such a cool last name. Was it foreign? Probably. European, sounded like, but Miroru couldn't remember where the other student was actually from!

There are various joined class between the heroes department and support department but to her current knowledge, this kind of classes is not popular for the support students. But for Zahra? She decides to think outside the box and use this class to run some tests on her robot and to record some content for her youtube channel.

Fortunately, the teacher allowed the use of Daedalus beforehand. If she didn'tget that approval, she would withdraw from the class. With that said, what appears in front of Miroru was not a little girl but instead a towering 10ft Daedalus stand tall. Zahra doesn't know anything about Miroru so she is going blind and hopeful that she can come out fruitful.

"Well, Hi Miroru. What is your quirk?" Zahra straightforwardly ask the question but her action didn't match her action as a red beam is blasted from its face directed at Miroru's lower half.

Miroru's head tilted back... and back... and back further as the robot marched into view. THAT was her opponent? That hulking monstrosity entirely managed by directed control signals via either wired or wireless methods?

That hardly seemed fair.

The laser blast wasn't exactly expected, but Miroru felt the amplifiers kick in to focus the produced photons, and squinted as that big "eye" lit up and launched the concentrated beam of radiated laser her way! She lifted a hand like a Jedi, as if to Force Stop the beam mid-air- only for the beam to slam into her palm and vanish entirely without damage.

"My quirk has to do with electromagnetic energy- like light," She explained. "Which gives me a lot of very mean tools to use on mechanical enemies." She lifted her ither hand and released a crackling sphere of sparks, releasing it as static to mess with Daedalus' sensors briefly. "But that wouldn't be very fun for you, so why don't we make this more of a David and Goliath sorta match? In other words..."

Miroru dropped into a boxers guard and yelled up at the bot! "COME AT ME, BRO!"

The fuck!

That was such a cheat! How can Zahra can beat her when she can just erase the only one meant of attack that does Daedalus has effortlessly!? Due not really experienced on fighting since that is definitely not her forte, she felt lost on what to do next and she decide to scrap the idea on actually publishing this spar as a video on her YouTube channel. With that said, as inexperienced as she is, she at least knows that she just can't stand still and do nothing.

With a heavy move where it moves rather slowly, Daedalus lift its arm and lunge forward Miroru with the hope of landing a heavy hit to Miroru. But with how slow its movement is; there are many room for Miroru to actually evades it effortlessly if she didn't caught off guard. Zahra understands that so as in chess; Zahra decides to cut her escape route with another laser targeted to the ground creating a wall of laser and produce a huge crater on the ground.

Miroru caught that momentary pause and grimaced a bit. "Sorry. That's kinda how I feel most of the time. I don't get to fight folx in my spectrum of control very often, but I'm pretty good at managing when I do. But! Let's take this hand to hand and see what you can- OHO!"

The heavy bot lurched forwards and threw a haymaker that clearly had extremely respectable force behind it, but contrary to the action most would take, Miroru actually lunged CLOSER, ducking under the blow and throwing a hand out to intercept the laser with her Quirk , the beam zagging erratically in midair before collapsing into a glowing sphere of angry red light! She released the first beam she'd eaten as well, leaving two red spheres pulsing in the air above them!

"Say- how durable is your robot? How easily is it repaired? I could try a few different things to take it out, but I don't want to, like. Ruin your gear?" Miroru asked as she danced around the clumsy blows. "I could do an EM pulse, but I'd think that would fry some components that would be a pain to replace, right?"

Ayolah!^* Zahra gasp when she hears upon what the redhead can do. She is not a pushover nor wants to be hero to begin with so pushing herself to the limit on the cost of monetary problem is not something that she is going to face now. So, she only do one thing that is obvious for her to do and that is...

Step back.

Zahra declares that she gave up upon this spar, I surrender, there is nothing much I can do here Zahra claims straight out as she gets out from Daedalus revealing someone that is even shorter than half of the height of Daedalus. I gonna built some laser-dependent robot suit in the future Zahra start to talk herself while controlling Daedalus remotely as she walks from the area.

Miroru paused as Zahra stepped out of her bot, taking a pace backwards to give her room and wincing at the surrender. "Anooo... sorry, Poetri-san," she offers to the petite girl. "I didn't mean t-"

Miroru cut short as her tail fluffed and her ears shot upright. "You've got ears too!" She cried, surprised. "Uh- yeah! That's a really good idea! Specialized rigs can be super useful, but they're best if you have intel on your opponent beforehand so you don't get stuck with a specialty they can neutralize. 99% of our classmates would have had to deal with those nasty blasts the old fashioned way- I don't think anyone else can just yank light energy like that."

Miroru stepped closer and offered her hand for a good close on the match. "If you want, we could collab on a more physically focused model that isn't reliant on exploitable blasts?"
