While battling the big ball-bot, with the corner of her eye, Marlene could see Thea having been flung by one of the robots she fought. Slamming against the wall. Sliding down. Helpless. She was already engaged with the blinded machine, the logical thing to do was to finish it off before moving to assist an ally. And yet ... briefly, the memory of the original flashed before her eyes. She was in a similar situation. She was not helped in time. A bot's protocols glitched. Or she landed poorly. Either way, she was gone.
And the knowledge of what could happen changed Marlene's course of action. She looked up to Jake.
"Finish the disabled controller bot. I am going to assist our colleague."
With that, she rushed over to Thea, heavy thuds and a cloud of dust in her wake. She was upon the bots attacking the girl, from behind. Delivering two blows, and breaking with her fists through the machines' chest cavity, before letting them slump down to the ground. Her eyes fell on Thea, briefly, to examine her physical condition.
"Are you alright?" - the automaton asked, offering a hand to stand up. Surely by then Jack would be able to defeat the crippled robot too, and get the glory and crowd cheers and other things that organics often cared for. For Marlene, the fact that her comrade for the test was alright was reward enough. The alternative was ... stressful.
"You have it figured out." - Marlene said to the girl, mirroring the phrase she said at the start of this combat. "Command me."

[attr="class","skullbody"]Before she could even act, Thea watched as Marlene arrived and dispatched the two robots with singular strikes. A feat the mentat knew she would never have been able to accomplish. To say she was envious was to put it lightly. The back of her mind raged at the indignation of being beaten against the wall only to be saved like any of the actors here was humiliating. The fact that she was the only one in any real danger added to the sentiment. In a room full of so called victims, she was the one really being rescued.[break][break]
"Yeah, I'm fine," she lied through her teeth. Her upper body was covered in freshly forming bruises. Her nervous system was flooded with pain signals that she struggled to drown out under a sea of memory and hallucination.[break][break]
"I already told you what I know," she spat. While she'd already unveiled their plan, she had omitted what little else she knew. "Well, I know at least one of them can change momentum and velocity. Not sure if it's the one with the spiked hair or the flat-top American." She had small glimmers of their abilities, actions reminiscent of a fighting game from one but zero context for the other. Either they were new heroes, or they weren't from around here.[break][break]
"This is probably when they're gonna show up. We should get to Jack before they pick him off." She ran off back towards where she last saw the dragon boy. "He's still where I left y'all, right?"[break][break]

Now that the first of the ball-bots had been defeated it was time for the grand entrance. The two heroes assigned to play as villain's had been chilling in one of the nearby buildings monitoring the entire situation, waiting for the right moment to enter into the fray. It was to be an impossible situation, too many variables coming at the students at once for them to handle everything. They would need to pick and choose what goals they wanted to accomplish or they would be at risk of failing the event entirely. Might Sai hoped that the student's youth and determination burned bright for the upcoming battle while Kenshin just wanted them to get the civilian's and get the fuck out. Almost as soon as Thea was back on her feet, the building exploded into debris and rubble as the two "Villains" entered the scene, sending a gigantic piece of concrete hurling directly at Jack and the robot. " YOU AIN'T FROM MICHIGAN IF YOU'VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE!" Might Sai shouted as he landed directly in between Jack and the other two students, cutting them off from each other. His partner, Kenshi was a lot less enthusiastic. Standing back to back with his partner he let out a loud sigh, holding up his fists and a long sword that cackled with electricity. " Final round...Start" Some info: Might Sai: Quirk: Arcsys: The ability to manifest directional buttons, controlling the direction and velocity of anything that they touch. Jack would glance over at Marlene as he would lounge against the remains of the robot he destroyed, taking the moments he had to breathe and prepare. The red-haired girl seemed to have things handled well for the most part, though before she could actively destroy the robot, she would decide to leave Jack to finish it off while she assisted Thea. "On one hand, fair, on the other let's remember we're supposed to get by on our own merits too. That might dock her points," he pointed out, already aiming another finger gun towards the downed robot. "Not that it's any of my business, I guess. You do you, boo."With that, he would promptly shoot towards the robot's head, sending it clear off it's body. A slight cold chill would tingle in Jack's arm for a moment, before subsiding. His eyes narrowed, knowing that wasn't the greatest of signs. Either he needs to start using more concentrated shots, or stop holding back against the big villains and try to end things quickly. He wasn't about to fail this just because of his own weakness. Shaking his head and taking another deep breath, he would again wait until they regrouped and get the finale underway. However, it looked like the 'villains' had other plans. An explosion from above would send a large slab of concrete quickly hurdling towards Jack! Acting purely out of instinct more than anything else, Jack would quickly vault out of the way, the slab slamming into the destroyed robot. As the young dragon would process that he basically almost got crushed, two men in similar uniforms would descend onto the battle field, separating the group of three between them. Ignoring the two's opposite attitude's for a second, Jack would snarl at the duo for a second. "OI! YA TRYIN' TO CRUSH ME OR SOMETHIN'?! LAST I CHECKED, THIS IS AN EXERCISE, YA NUTS!" he barked, Marlene's comment of something apparently dying during something like this at the front of his mind. With recklessness like this, no flippin' wonder! Irritation aside, Jack would take one final deep breath, before grinning devilishly at the two. "Though, thanks. Now I won't feel too bad about this," he said, the aura of Chaos Energy beginning to grow around Jack, before condensing into a golden light as his appearance would change. "Hope y'all ain't sensitive , 'cuz I'm aboutta light things up!" With that, Jack would fire off a couple of blasts towards the duo, before trying to get in closer towards Marlene and Thea by trying to go around the robot he destroyed for cover. Gritting his teeth a tad bit, not exactly being the biggest fan of their opponents at the current moment, but sticking his anger off to the side as to not let himself be the one who's blinded.

The masterminds behind the attack were here!
And they were strong. Marlene watched one of them lob a sizeable concrete slab at Jack. He dodged, but it could've been bad. A projectile of such size and velocity could damage even her own metallic body. Splitting up against this caliber of enemy was dangerous, she thought. That would land them a defeat in detail. At the same time, the automaton did not have enough data to determine if the three of them could win even if they fought together. Her eyes fell on Thea, again.
"Do you know what each of them does? One of them has a sword."
She would wait for her companion's tactical analysis, before taking an action. Once having received it, she would remain where she is. The lack of reach was fairly detrimental, as Marlene discovered. Still, there was something she could do. Picking up a slab of concrete, still big enough, though smaller than the one lobbed at them previously, Marlene spun herself in place and let it loose. It flew through the air like a concrete shuriken, going for the fellow with the sword. Her rationale was that hitting a sword with a slab of concrete would not be good for the sword.
Until Thea came up with a better plan, Marlene would stay relatively put. So that when that plan comes around, she is not too deep into the engagement.
