HIDE ALL YOUR PRECIOUS THINGS don’t let anyone INTO YOUR MIND mhm, the things we hide Japanese steel. Once revered across the country as the warrior’s weapon of choice. Among the modern era, there existed a certain romance concerning the history of katana style swords, a mysticism that stretched to foreign lands. The Tokyo National Museum held quite a few of these relics from the past, with some pieces even having some connections to the fabled swordsmith Masamune. Kin was never really big on swords, but artifacts like these pulled in big numbers with particular clientele. How fortunate for her that the museum even had a general map of its three floors on their website; the rooms labeled ‘Swords’ and ‘National Treasure Gallery’ looked promising. No doubt there were other things to grab as well, but the Japanese blades were her sole concern tonight. ‘1am. She should be here soon,’ thought the woman as she checked her watch. The garden park behind the museum offered plenty of cover to hide. The mutant herself casually leaned back against a tree, keeping the tree between herself and the museum. Her golden eyes, dulled from the lack of light, scanned the darkened greenery of her surroundings. ‘She might already be here for all I know…’

It wasn’t really difficult for her to sneak out of her house, security knew better than to say anything she decided to do in the dead of night to her dad right then and there. They knew what sort of job she had and what sort of nonsense she wanted to handle. It took her a few minutes of struggling over the fencing and hopping down to the pavement. She stumbled at the landing and huffed softly.
At this rate I’m going to be bloody late.
She had opted to forgo any actual clothing and let her mutation do its job in hiding her against the background. It took her maybe about a ten minute jog to the museum itself. Though she was on the otherside of the museum that they had agreed on meeting at. She had to constantly remind herself that she had a job today.
For some reason it had been sliding out of her memory which was a new one. She usually had a good memory but would shrug; it had been a busy few days so what else could she expect? The black cat blinked a little bit and noted that the other was already here. Something about her was very interesting but she couldn’t place it.
With them leaning up against a tree that meant that they were already on the defensive but crow didn’t even really think about that. She instead just approached from one side; the bushes rustled and her head would pop out of one that she decided to approach from for- She’d huff a bit as though she had just seen the other for the first time.
”Hiya~”
Her voice was playful, young, full of energy and vigor. She didn’t seem to really seem bothered about forgetting their initial conversations or why she was here. There had been an online interaction and that at least wouldn’t vanish right? Right?... Right?
”You hire me for a security consultant gig yeah?”
