Watching with a blank expression as Rayder picked up the paper and handed him another note, Yaguro read it, and let out a sigh of annoyance. “Alright, relax ‘mom’.” Instinctively he crumpled up the paper that instructed him to not throw the papers, and proceeded to throw it too. “Ah, sorry, force of habit. I’ll get it later.” Taking the next note, Yaguro started to read it over too; Seemed like his whole marking deal was personal.
“Alright, fine, I won’t fuss when you do it.” Crumpling the next paper into a ball, he almost made the same mistake and threw it as well, before remembering he’d probably be forced to pick it up, and stuffed it into his pocket instead. The next paper was a much longer set of rules. Reading it over, it seemed fairly standard. No killing unless they had to, which is about how he operated anyway, so no problem there. The Cartographer apparently had a family, one that was understandably off limits. The vigilante was thankful he had a note to remember all this information, and figured that it could be worth it later to investigate into the giant’s life. Since he had a husband and child, an unusual combination for a man to have in Japan, spotting them amongst a crowd probably wouldn’t prove too difficult, especially considering his new partner’s stature. Folding the remaining papers and neatly sticking them in his pocket, Yaguro took his turn to talk.
“Yeah, I do a lot of leg work to find the scum I need to hunt down. Got a few underworld contacts here, some spying there, and I got a guy back at home base that knows how to look into things. But I’ve been hunting gangs for a while; At this point its all a matter of knowing the moment to pounce. With you around…I think those moments will come a lot more frequently. So…We got a partnership then?” The punk extended a welcoming hand, eager to have this huge asset along for the ride.

Taking in the man’s decently handsome rugged face, Yaguro noticed that this guy wasn’t Japanese, even partially, which begged the question of why he was here. He seemed pretty experienced, so maybe he was cleaning up on someone else’s payroll? His name, The Silent Cartographer, fit him and his calling card well. The more he thought about it, the less sense it would make for him to be hired by someone else, with the way he carved up the victim’s chest. Seemed like a personal mission, making his presence in Japan all the more mysterious; Maybe he was hunting someone in particular, who knew.
“I guess it fits you.” Yaguro stated, tossing the first paper away and getting his helmet back on. “Though if you keep putting those markings on people, they’re bound to come after you for revenge at some point, and it’ll be easy for them to tell who also has a vendetta against you.” He advised, clicking his headgear back into place. Taking the next paper, it seemed like the Cartographer was interested in a partnership, but wanted to set up rules, like some kind of overbearing parent. If he had to guess, one of them would be no killing, since the giant probably wanted his victims to live with their shame.
“Alright, tell me your rules; But I’m not gonna mark people like you do, and to be honest I’d prefer if you didn’t do it with me around, I don’t want the target on your back making its way to mine.”

Yaguro smirked; Watching through his now smoke hindered visor, Rayder took a cigarette and lit it. The vigilante liked to think of sharing in the admittedly unhealthy activity as a form of bonding, like a congratulatory handshake, but more flavorful. “There ya go. Helps take the edge off, don’t it?” Though, before he could even get another puff in, Rayder grabbed him, and started to sprint at the wall.
Great, was this maniac going to kill him now? “Hey, hey, slow the hell down!” Instinctively, Yaguro started to fumble around for his handgun, dropping his bat in the process. Thankfully, the duo reached their destination before the vigilante could reach his weapon. Watching as his impromptu partner helped the young woman up and got a tearful thankful, Yaguro couldn’t help but yell out a “You’re welcome!” as she ran down the fire escape. Turning his attention back to Rayder, he watched as the giant made a bunch of hand symbols; Being as bright as he was, Yaguro took a minute to figure out what he was trying to say, reviewing each gesture and trying his best to recreate them. Luckily Rayder made another motion, trying to yell but with nothing but dry air leaving his lips. “Ohhhh, you are a mute. Yeah I sorta figured that.” The entire time the vigilante had figured the guy was just being stealthy, but he didn’t have to know that. When Rayder motioned for Yaguro to remove his helmet, he hesitated. Reveal himself to someone he’d just met?
Well..As much as he hated to admit it, this big guy was a bit of a pro. Better to have him as an ally than an enemy. “Alright, fine…” Yaguro started, moving to remove his helmet. “But you better not tell anyone…No pun intended.” Removing his helmet, the young man brushed some of his nearly overgrown hair out of his face, and put his headgear at his hip. “I used to go by Searchlight…But I don’t really have a handle for myself anymore. What do they call you?” As soon as he asked the question, he realized he’d likely not get a response. “Um…I mean, like write it down or something I guess.”

Yaguro grinned under his mask as Occham agreed to follow him; If this shadow investor really was interested in him, they may be obliged to give him an even bigger salary than they previously thought after he showed how to take care of business. “Good, good. Urchin Lair’s not too far from here, so just follow me.” So long as Occham did follow the vigilante, they would arrive at their destination within just a few minutes. A hole in the wall bar, windows lit up with flashing lights, and the stench of spilt alcohol polluting the air. Figuring it was best to go in light as to not arouse suspicion, Yaguro tossed his metal bat into the adjacent alley, intent on picking it up later. “After you.” Opening the door to let Occham in, the pair’s ears was suddenly blasted by loud rock music.
Various gang members crowded around the bar, many of them clearly members of the Eight-Os. One group of them played a game of pool, another dancing like lunatics close to the jukebox.
Following the masked figure inside, assuming they went in, Yaguro would spot a pair of unoccupied bar stools, and direct his accomplice to them. “I’ve been here before, their policy on masks is pretty relaxed; And the last time I ran into the Eights I had a different helmet.” Whistling to the barkeep, Yaguro looked around and quickly spotted the backroom door, guarded by a taller man wearing a tattered jean jacket, and enough piercings on his face to open his own jewelry store. “Anyway, my plan is to go kick the guards ass through the door, then go in and get what I want out of Cue Ball.” Thankfully, the music was blaring far too loud for anyone other than Occham to hear what he was saying. “Though, I am open to suggestions.” Seeing as the bartender hadn’t noticed them yet, Yaguro yelled over, wanting to get a quick booze in before everything went down. “Hey! Barkeep! Two rum and cokes!”

And yet this giant still didn’t bother talking to him. What was his deal? Did he just thing he was better than him? Was he a mute? Watching as Rayder kicked over the first of the gang members, he watched as he pulled out a knife, and started carving into them. It was too dark to see what the other vigilante was actually doing, and Yaguro just assumed he was finishing the job; Not like the Hunters and Creature Rejection Clan didn’t deserve it, but he was really ineffectual. “Hey, big guy.” Yaguro gave a quick pat on Rayder’s back to get his attention. “You do realize they’ll be able to get up after that, right? Let me help you out.”
Reaching into his hoodie, Yaguro pulled out his handgun, and pointed it at the downed Hunter’s face. “If you want to kill them, you can’t just carve haphazardly into their chest, you have to…” Just as he got ready to pull the trigger, he noticed what was written on the man’s chest;
All his sins, now proudly on display on his chest in blood and scars. “Ahh, I get it.” Yaguro shelved his weapon, and flicked the safety back on. “Not enough for you to just kick their asses, huh? Gotta do this whole carving thing? Just lettin you know, that’s stylish but it wastes a lot of time, and links crimes back to you.” Leaning against the wall, Yaguro pulled out a cigarette and lighter, and lifted his helmet up a bit. “You might be an ass, but I kinda like the flair you put into your work anyway. What do you say we do this again some time?” Lighting his cigarette and chomping down on it, he offered one to Rayder.

If nothing else, this new vigilante had skill; Yaguro could hardly follow as Rayder grabbed the knife right out of his hand, leaped off the ground and plunged the knife into another of the gang members. He couldn’t help but be impressed at the way the guy dispatched the Creature Rejection Clan member; As soon as the robed racist was in flames on the ground, Yaguro’s positive impression’s flew out of the window as he was tossed to the ground.
“Hey jackass, same team!” He protested, picking himself up and dusting off. Watching as the previously enflamed gang member stopped, dropped and rolled, Yaguro waltzed over, just as the flames went out. “By the way, you missed a spot.” His voice was full of malice as he stomped down on the robed individual’s face, with the audible cracking of a nose bone. “Seriously, you fight good but you’re a real fucking jackass. You haven’t even said a word since you got here!” Yaguro rested his bat on his shoulder, frustrated. He was at ease but still ready to strike in case this masked jerk decided to try something. “And you just jumped in out of lord knows where; I actually researched this place and set up an ambush; You might’ve taken them out, but what if they had reinforcements? You’d have gotten your ass kicked; You really ought to leave this to people who know what to do in these situations.” Yaguro usually didn’t brag out loud, especially since he too went in unprepared, but he felt like sticking it to this silent punk.

And who was this now? Someone else clearly having come to help, and doing a good job of it too…Yaguro could barely follow this stranger’s movements as he took out the cultist holding the woman hostage and escorted her to safety. The rest of the gang members were taken aback, simply stunned watching the rescue unfold at blinding speed; Something that the vigilante took full advantage of. Targeting another of the Creature Rejection Clan members, he crashed his bat into the man’s skull mask, cracking both it and a few teeth; Following up, he grabbed the guy by his hood, pulling him in and cracked him over the skull again, sending him to the ground.
Looking back, he watched as the newcomer ushered for him to leave…Or retreat? Regroup? “Use your words, moron!” He called back. During his distraction, one of the hunters grabbed his bat, and a tug of war for the weapon ensued. Yaguro thought quickly and let go, and as the man tumbled back, he punched him once in the gut, and another time in the face; One of the remaining hunters tried to counter this, stabbing Yaguro in the shoulder with a knife; If it weren’t for his thick clothing and light body armor, it would’ve went deep, but the custom hunting knife still drew blood. Grunting in pain, Yaguro kneed the man in his stomach, and backed away, pulling the knife from his body and sending a stream of blood over his outfit. Wielding the blade, he backed up from the group and towards his unlikely ally. “You wanna work together on this one?”

(CW: Racism, torture)
Another night, another round of beatings to be given out.
Tonight was no different for the young vigilante; Donning his helmet, he clicked his handgun into the hidden holster in his hoodie, and grabbed his bat.
Today’s hunt was two groups; The Hunters, and a small sector of the Creature Rejection Clan. His tip had come from his friend Armon, a man with an armadillo human quirk, who understandably had personal grudge against the animal-quirk hating groups. Armon frequently lurked on the various forums of the hate groups. Thankfully The Hunters weren’t exactly careful about what they posted, and had revealed someone they planned to corner tonight; Yaguro’s goal was to find them and bust some heads.
Oh, and rescue their unfortunate victim.
Judging from posts by the Creature Rejection Clan, they’d be targeting this exact person for weeks, and a feud between the two groups seemed likely. Two birds, one stone.
Though he didn’t have an exact location of where the ‘hunt’ was taking place, it didn’t take much time of wandering around before he started to hear commotion; Arguing, and loud arguing at that.
Creeping through the alleyways, the noises grew louder and louder, and it didn’t take long for the scene to come into view.
About seven of them; Three in robed attire complete with skull masks and wielding long, spear like lit candelabras, the Creature Rejection Clan seemed to have secured the furred civilian first; A young woman resembling a light blonde dog like creature, with a long snout and fuzzed ears; Tears were welling up in her eyes and staining her fur as a boot weighed her to the ground.
The other four looked far more diverse; Mostly leather and loose jackets, one wearing a boonie cap; The Hunters. Their calling card was the various ‘trinkets’ from their victims; A necklace made of ears, a jacket fashioned from living fur, a knife made out of a claw; Unlike the Creature Rejection Clan who just wanted mutation quirk users gone, The Hunters wanted to make a game out of them.
“I hit her, so she’s MY kill!” One of the Hunters protested, getting in the masked face of his opposition.
“But we found her, and we will dispose of her. All that’s needed is cleansing.”
The atmosphere was getting tense, but more importantly both groups were preoccupied. Gripping his bat hard in both hands, Yaguro looked over each of the men, deciding which one would get a concussion first.
His sights settled on one of the Hunters, a muscular man clutching a spear.
Bolting out from the shadows of the alley, the vigilante crashed his bat into the tall man’s side, cracking the spear in half on the way.
The argument between the two groups ceased immediately as they gazed at the new threat; It was instantly apparent that Yaguro was a part of neither group.
“Alright assholes…Any volunteers to go next?” As the two forces realized their common enemy, they all started to surround Yaguro, minus the now unconscious Hunter and the Creature Rejector still pinning the young woman.
“Come on…I’m ready. You asshats ready?” The Hunters weren't exactly slouches, so this would be a challenge; But nothing ventured, nothing gained.

If this guy wasn’t working for the mob, that didn’t leave a whole lot of options. If he was from the government, he’d be attacking by now, right? Yaguro was an unlicensed vigilante after all, it would only stand to reason that a dog working for the officials would be at his throat by now…
“In case you didn’t know, the Eight-O’s are practically nothing BUT goons; Each one I take out with this bat is one less piece of trash on the street.” Twirling his bat around, he used one hand to knock the brick wall next to him, leaving a sizeable dent. “Maybe I like conking heads in. Its therapeutic, cheap, and I’m damn good at it.” Lifting his bat back up over his shoulder, he turned and started heading out of the alley and towards the bar. “Tell you what; How about you help me out with the two-bit gangsters at the Urchin Lair, and I’ll listen to your business proposal; I’m intrigued for nothing else than finding who you are at this point.” The hideout was only a couple minutes walk from where he was, and though from the way he strolled it seemed he didn’t care if Occham followed him, in reality this masked individual was far more interesting than shaking down more gang members. But playing hard to get was fun; Or at least he figured it would be. This was about the first time someone was looking for him. In any case, if Occham tried to leave or didn’t follow him, he planned to chase him down; This rabbit hole was too appealing to ignore entirely.

This was certainly unexpected; Not the bricks closing in, the workings of a quirk, that was par for the course these days; But someone moving in to stop him? Hearing a voice, Yaguro drew his handgun, twirling around and pointing it in the direction of this interloper. Judging from their clothes, this clearly wasn’t an Eight-O; From the clothes they were wearing to the rifle they were packing, this clearly wasn’t some small timer.
Listening to the guy lecture him, the vigilante kept his gun trained right at the forehead, training it on him the entire time. It was only when Occham drew closer and revealed his name that Yaguro lowered his gun a bit. “You’d be surprised at what a bit of steel and iron can accomplish.” He argued back, keeping his gun in one hand and bat lowered in the other. “I’ve been around the block more than a bit, so I know what I’m doing.” Narrowing his eyes behind his helmet, Yaguro tried to analyze the suited stranger. “Though I get the feeling you do too.” Whoever this person was, the punk got the feeling that if Occham wanted him dead, he’d be on the ground already. Best to just hear them out.
“A bit rude of you to presume you know what my plan is; I’m no fool, you really think I’d kick open the door, open fire and draw in every cop within a mile radius?” Opening his hoodie back up, Yaguro slipped his gun back into its holster; More of a sign of good faith than anything else; The bat would be more effective at this range anyway. “Just who exactly are you, huh? You work for the mob?”

First rule of Yaguro’s school of interrogation; Beat the hell out of them first, so they’ll be more inclined to spill information as to avoid further beatings. Second rule, don’t let the guy get away. …In the vigilante’s defense, he had been out of the game for a while. The Eight-O’s were usually just hopped up punks, the helmeted man hadn’t expected one to be so slippery; Especially after how carelessly they’d shaken down the businessman. For a minute, he debated reached into his hoodie and pulling out his piece, taking a shot at the guys legs to take him out; But that would mean noise, and noise would mean attention. If he had his quirk, a quick blinding would be in order, a favorite interrogation tactic of his; But now, it was time to improvise. Just before Mud could get out of sight, Yaguro grabbed a metal trash can lid, and chucked it like a frisbee, hitting the punk in the back of the head and bringing him down.
“Bingo.”
Sprinting over, Yaguro spotted the Eight-O scrambling to his feet, and downed him with a swing of his bat. Grabbing the goon by his collar, the helmeted vigilante pressed him against the wall; Not hard enough to hard, but pinned enough to prevent escape. “Relax, I just want to ask a couple questions.” Yaguro growled, annoyance in his voice. “Like what rock Razerback is hiding under?”
Mud whimpered in response. “I-I dunno! We don’t get much contact with the big guy! When things go down someone just lets us know where to be!”
The vigilante gritted his teeth behind his mask, unsatisfied with the answer. Slamming Mud into the wall hard, he kept trying to probe the gangster. “Who? Who tells you?”
“Big bald guy! He goes by Cue Ball! That’s all I know!” The punk was talking louder, loud enough for anyone in the area to hear, and, he hoped, come get this crazed vigilante off his ass. In response, Yaguro grabbed his 1911 out of his jacket at pressed it right up against the guys neck. “Bad answer. I want a place.” “The Urchin Lair!” Mud shrieked out, prompting Yaguro to press the cold metal of his gun harder against his victim. “Quieter.” He hissed, sending a clear message.
“The Urchin Lair…” The gang member was now whispering to avoid getting a bullet. “It’s a couple blocks from here, I can take ya…” A better answer. Yaguro slipped his handgun back into its holster, and dusted himself off. Setting up to calmly walk away, he suddenly gripped his bat and swung it into Mud’s face, knocking him out cold. “Thanks for the information.” The vigilante stated, the informant no longer conscious. Thankfully, he knew where the Urchin Lair was, and since Mud was too low on the totem pole to be of any further help, there was no need to drag him along just so he could squeal for help as soon as the doors opened.
“Great, the Urchin Lair…They must hang out in one of the back rooms…” Making sure he was locked and loaded, Yaguro started to head towards the lowlife bar, intent on shaking down more gang members for information…

The streets of Shinjuku were dark at night; Dark, and quiet, with only the occasional blare of loud music from a passing car.
This was not ideal location for Taiyo Korazan, bigwig businessman. Walking through dirty sidewalks, he clearly did not fit in to this environment; His clothes consisted of a sharp, pressed grey suit with light black lines, matching pants, and gold cufflinks. His glasses were square and prim, and the red tie and matching red handkerchief in his shirt pocket completed his look.
His hair contrasted the rest of his appearance, being quite curly and puffy, making it look far more American than Japanese.
“I swear, the company doesn’t appreciate me enough for taking these out-calls…” He grumbled to himself, lamenting the terrible situation he was in.
“Ever since my idea pitch overshadowed the boss’s, he’s giving me all dud assignments…Like he’s trying to…” Hefting his suitcase, Taiyo paused as he felt gazes creep onto his back.
A young man, no older than twenty, had set his sights on the fish out of water, and grinned. The teen wore a studded leather jacket, jeans help up with a chain belt, and had piercings on his nose and lips. Though across the street, as soon as Taiyo crossed his path, the punk got up from his relaxed position and started to walk towards the businessman, who quickened his pace in turn.
As he walked, Taiyo watched as two more matching punks crept out of the shadows. The first wore a midriff cut jean jacket and a tank top that read “Fuck It” in Kanji, and a tall neon green mohawk that stood out from his darker clothes. The other was a short guy, had a black studded jacket, and multiple necklaces on, most completed by small metal skulls.
The trio formed up behind their prey, and the leader of the group walked in front of him, turning around and continuing to walk backwards, but slowing his pace. Taiyo quickly glanced around for some way to get away from the group, but with the second punk on his side, the only place left to turn was a dark alleyway, with nothing but a dumpster and busted up door. Walking into it, Taiyo backed up nervously until he reached the wall, and was ultimately trapped.
Pleased with their tactic, the three punks exchanged grinning glances to one another.
“Hey…Mud…I think we met someone.” The necklace wearer spoke up, keeping eye contact with the nervous man they’d cornered.
“Yeah…Either of you know him?” The leader, seemingly named Mud asked.
“Oh, yeah, I think I do…” The mohawk punk replied, taking a few steps forward. “Yeah, this is John Banana…John Banana!” The other two cronies snickered.
“Seriously man, what the fuck is up with that hair?” He asked insincerely, reaching out and ruffling Taiyo’s hair. “You a half n half or somethin? Hey, how bout you show us your documents, then we’ll know for sure…Bet its in that briefcase!” Reaching out, the punk grabbed at the briefcase; Taiyo struggled back as panic started to set in, and he yelled out.
“H-Help! Help!”
Just as the mohawked thug was about to wrestle the briefcase free, he stopped and suddenly jolted as he heard a loud banging sound behind him.
The other two gangsters turned around as well in response, with the shorter one pulling out a switch blade.
“Who’s there?! Ain’t nobody tryin to be a hero a hope…” Mud taunted, glancing around.
Another banging sound; Closer this time, and followed by a scraping sound, as if someone was dragging something through the pavement. When the sound finally stopped, a figure appeared at the end of the alleyway; As he drew closer, his features became clearer; A black hoodie, jeans, and a helmet-like mask. The stranger had a baseball bat in one hand, and as he walked closer, he drug it behind him, making the same sound as before.
He kept drawing near, until he was only a couple feet from the small mob. Stopping, the two groups stared each other down; The thug holding Taiyo dropped him, and turned around as well. Turning his hand into a metal ball, he asked, “Who the hells this?” Breaking the brief silence.
“Eight-O’s…I thought you were still active." The helmeted figure spoke, voice muffled by his headwear.
“But this is new jurisdiction for you…Did the Army Mob and Hunters run you out of your old shithole?”
The trio of gang members just stared back, trying to assess the threat this vigilante posed; Mud winced a bit at the mention of the Army Mob.
“Why dont’ca just get lost…” The knife-wielder spoke up, taking a step towards the unwelcome newcomer. “We’re tryin to have fun here…”
“Well, what do you know…” Clenching his bat tightly, the vigilante swung it hard against the punk’s head, making impact with a loud CLUNK.
“So am I!”
One Eight-O already on the ground bleeding from a single swing, a good start to the evening, Yaguro thought. It had been a while since he’d been out patrolling, and ever since his arrest, he had been actin more carefully. Three members of a gang that was hardly more than a group of bullies? Easy practice.
“You’re dead!” The next gangster, one with a quirk that turned his fists into iron, swung on him, but the vigilante sidestepped him and hit him hard in the back with his bat, sending him crashing into the brick wall. The thug started trying to get up; Only to be swiftly put down by a kick from Yaguro delivered to the head, followed by a bat to the ear.
Turning back to the now lone assailant, Yaguro cockily twirled his bat in his hands. Though unseen through the helmet, he had the biggest smile of his life.
“You want some? You want some?!” The final Eight-O yelled angrily before charging at the vigilante. Yaguro stood his ground, and swung his bat right into the guy’s leg, who yelped in pain and fell to the ground.
“O-ok! I give! I give!” The punk begged, grabbing his leg.
“You give? What were you gonna give that douchebag in the suit?” Yaguro asked in a deadpan voice, crashing his bat into Mud’s ribcage, who grabbed it in pain.
“In a better society, you’d be too piss scared to even try something like this…But until then…” Another kick to the guy’s already wounded stomach. “I’m here!”
And he kept on kicking the gangster in the chest…It was only when Mud activated his quirk, giving his body a spring like quality, did he manage to get to his feet and start trying to flee.
“Where you goin? You’re not done yet…” Yaguro stated angrily, chasing Mud out into the street, and into a maze of alleys.
“…” Taiyo picked himself, still breathing heavily from the encounter. Dusting himself off, he gripped his suitcase, and watched as his savior chased after the last standing gang member.
“…I’m need a fucking raise…”

As a kid, Yaguro kept to himself a lot, mostly because he didn’t know how to make friends. Even when he found common ground bonding over heroes, he kept to himself a lot. Still, he aspired to be a hero to help people around him, secretly hoping that it would get him noticed more and become more popular. Now, Yaguro is very self centered, and only thinks of himself most of the time. He is rude, crass, and manipulative; Everything you don’t want in a friend. Everything he does is to selfishly further his own goals, and work towards what he wants. Yaguro finds it hard to make any ‘real’ friends still due to how unpopular he is. He is brutally honest with people, and doesn’t care whose feelings he hurts. If you are annoying him, he will let you know. He’s very apathetic at his minimum wage job, not giving much care or thought to how he deals with customers. The only time he even attempts to be nice is if he has something to gain from someone, in which case he tries his best to seem like a half decent person, although to some it may be obvious that it's a fake performance. Still, its a performance that he tries his best to dedicate himself to. He still has a desire to be noticed and appreciated deep down. [attr="class","body"] [attr="class","header2"]HISTORY Yaguro was born to a lower class family in Kyoto, and grew up without a whole lot to his name. His parents were always working, and he didn’t have very many friends at school due to his complete lack of social awareness, making him a very lonely child. The first thing he was truly able to bond with other kids over was, as with many children, heroes. He was fascinated by just how much society revolved around them; They were celebrities that could also beat anyone in a fight! Naturally, Yaguro aspired to become a hero one day, and eagerly waited for his quirk to manifest. When his quirk did manifest, he couldn’t have been more disappointed; All he could do was produce small light beams from his hands, which couldn’t do much other than annoy enemies. Still, Yaguro decided to try and be a hero anyway…And failed miserably. When he came of age and took the exam to get into a school for heroes, he failed to score even one point. He tried to apply for detective work as well, but discovered that he had no aptitude for it. Even then, though, his desire to be a hero wasn’t destroyed; He wanted to be a hero, he wanted to help people in any way he could. With this in mind, he decided to turn to quirk enhancing drugs to make himself more powerful. With these drugs, his light quirk became much more powerful, the bursts becoming bright enough to blind anyone he aimed them at. Sure, using a drug was cheating, but, Yaguro figured, wasn’t it ok if he was cheating for the greater good? He became a vigilante, taking justice into his own hands thinking he was helping his city. This went on for a while, with Yaguro seeing some small successes in taking down minor crooks and pickpockets. Going for small fry wasn’t enough for Yaguro after a while. He felt like he wasn’t making any difference at all, and decided to start tracking a small gang, working out a plan to take them down. In the dead of night, he tracked them down to their warehouse and did a self-performed bust of their gang. Unfortunately for Yaguro, that night was also when a small hero group had decided to make their move on the gang as well. They mistook Yaguro for a member of the gang, and he was taken into custody along with them. Things only got worse when the drugs he had taken were discovered in his system. Yaguro was put in jail for months for his acts of vigilantism and drug use, his reasoning of only trying to help the heroes being ignored. During these months, his frustration with his arrest grew. He was trying to help, why had he been thrown in with the criminals? He saw the news broadcasts praising the hero group that had brought down the gang, the only difference between him and them being that they had a license and he didn’t. Yaguro was furious that the only thing that decided you were a hero was a lousy piece of paper; Over time, his resentment of that small group of heroes evolved into a hatred of the hero society as a whole. The people he once saw as protectors of the innocent were now, in his eyes, shams; Heroes that were only in the game for the money, that couldn’t care less about if anyone was actually helped. Things only went further downhill for Yaguro. After being examined by the doctors in prison, they discovered that through his constant use of quirk enhancing drugs, he had lost his quirk. In his despaired state of mind, Yaguro blamed the heroes for this too. After being released from prison, Yaguro managed to find a small job at a local convenience store, quirkless and living alone in a run-down apartment complex. Now, he only has one true goal; Take down the fake hero society and expose them for the frauds they are. [attr="class","body"] [attr="class","header2"]ITEMS
When actually in combat, Yaguro usually carries a metal bat which he personally modified to be more resilient and hold together better. Aside from that he also uses a standard 1911 handgun, as well as a sawed off double barrel shotgun.
