Well, that was an interesting way to putting it. Rhea shouldn't have used her quirk that night, but it was a nice way to learn Meliora's name. How much that mattered in the long run was yet to be seen.

She pulled out a water bottle, taking a small sip as she considered the question, and how much she was willing to give away. "It depends," she says, glancing over at Rhys before focusing her gaze on Meliora again. "There is a great deal I still don't know about it. I would take steps to learn, but in order to do so I would have to expose what it does exactly. I worry that if I do, especially here, my crimes will be much more readily exposed. Based on my own observations, it follows the same rules of hypnosis." She took another sip, the liquid soothing the mild irritation she was currently experiencing with the barbs. The general rule of thumb with hypnosis was if a person said that they couldn't be hypnotized, then the procedure wouldn't work. It all boiled down to a person's susceptibility to suggestion.

"If the person is drunk, it is possible that it doesn't work as well, but mainly whenever the person in question becomes much more obstinate in said state. Conversely, if the person in question thinks they can get laid, then they may become more pliable. It is something that I will admit I've used in the past."

Rhea was full of herself, but hearing that little bit of validation from someone else that something she did was wonderful was...well, it gave her weird fuzzy feelings inside. It was a weird feeling, but she chalked it up to not hearing anything constructive since-

She moved over, looking over the list available to her and she began to think. Corporate types were a good target to start out. They were slow, unable to process their surroundings well enough to act. They always had expensive items on them that could either be used or hocked for easy cash, and there were always a few types that carried wads on them. Something that she was familiar with though was that they were also rich and powerful; this was the type of establishment she would want to scope out for a few visits before making a move. "Corporate types are also vindictive. A little known fact about the Oasis Lounge, many high-class villains attend on the regular. And while it isn't common, there have been a few assassins hired in our back rooms. Almost always by the same corporate types. I'd suggest we scope it out on another night to get a feel for the people there before we make a move."

She took a finger and moved the page, looking over the list. She raised an eyebrow as she stopped at a venue near the docks, pressing her lips together. "What about this one? Rave establishment that also doubles up as a drug operation." She leaned in, reading the print more closely. "Looks like the authorities are scoping it out. We could cause a scene, maybe drive the crowd into the back. While the muscle is distracted we could locate where they're keeping some of their equipment, or their safes. Attempt to make off with as much as possible." It was riskier, but the embarrassment on the cops and capes, not to mention the amount of trouble they could cause with that, would be a grand debut.

The response was not something Rhea was expecting, and one of her earlier conclusions, not to mention fears, struck true. Whoever this man's employer was knew what Rhea was ultimately after, and that vulnerability was awful. With the color drained from her face she inclined her head a little. "Give me a moment to collect my things, and I'll be right with you."

It was an awful feeling, but she obviously couldn't pass up this opportunity. Would she lose money? Probably. Could she lose more? Absolutely. But someone knew her goals, which meant she had to investigate who they were and how they knew. Turning back to the crowd she explained that something had to leave, but that she'd be back later in the week. She had learned a few tricks from Lilith, so there was that. And even better was she travelled light; throat mic that doubled up as a choker, which she could just turn off, a pair of nice speakers, and she just had to collect the jars she laid out for people. With everything packed up she'd approached the man again, clearing her throat. "So, lead on."

Rhea tilted her head, thinking for a moment in order to come up with something convincing enough. Which, based on how flustered Yvel was, that didn't seem to be too hard. "Well, I was, but...she can always join me later. You, though..." Rhea made it obvious that she was checking Yvel out, a smirk on her lips before making eye contact with the girl. "Why don't you join me today?" It was risky using her quirk without prep, but she didn't need it to do much. Just a light nudge, something small to plant the seed.

"See, I don't like going alone, especially after that whole monster debacle. It makes me feel safer." She took a step forward, placing a hand on Yvel's hip as she decided to offer something in exchange. "Please? I can make it worth your while..." She let her tongue flick out, trying to lay it on thick. She had one chance to hook this girl in, and the plan she was making hinged on her cooperation.

Rhea tilted her head to the side before a smile crossed her face, a giggle escaping her as she took a step forward as a bit of mischief played through her eyes. "You don't have to be so modest, I know a good look when I see one. The top is really cute, too.~" She fired a wink at Yvel, the smile turning into a smirk as she held it up. "But yes, I do intend to go to the beach after I finish here. I tried to get my girlfriend to come, but she'd unfortunately busy. Was trying to find a way to kill some time, hoping to get a phonecall..."

She let out a wistful sigh, hoping to solidify the lie. This would be further backed up with a sudden look of realization. "Goodness, how rude of me! I haven't introduced myself, I was just distracted with how gorgeous you are! My name's Rose, it's nice to meet you!" It was another lie, but one to try and mask her identity to some extent. She hating taking part of her mother's stage name for it, but a girl had to do what she had to do.

This was awkward.

Rhea was good at shoplifting. It was how she survived half her childhood and her teen years. Pickpocketing was an art she was good at, but her skills there paled in comparison to her ability to shoplift. A little swipe here, the subtle removal of a tag there, and look at that, this nice summer skirt was in this beach bag that she brought in because that's where she'd actually heading! It was a really good excuse, too; her "top" was a white T-shirt with the midriff cut out, lacking a large portion of the collar to expose her chest and shoulders, with the sleeves ripped off to show off her arms. Her pink bikini would be easily identifiable, one of the few times she wore anything like this, but she also really was going to the beach after this. She wore jean short shorts, showing off her legs and had a white pair of sunglasses on her head, hair done up in a bun. It all felt great.

Unfortunately, something that she didn't account for was that her outfit caught too many eyes. She was blessed with a fantastic body and had used it to her advantage multiple times, but this particular day multiple people had approached her, trying to get her attention. All of them guys, of course, but it made it really hard to do her job. To make matters worse, she suspected that she got picked up on cameras because now there was a guard standing by the exit to this particular store. She needed an out, and wasn't provided one...at least, until she saw an inconspicuous girl along some of the racks. A plan was forming, and really it might have been better to get a guy to do this, but maybe if she played her cards right this would work. She'd approach the same rack, pulling a piece up that would be a little too revealing, and say, ""Oh, this is cute!" She glanced at the girl, holding the piece up to her before saying, "Hm...As nice as this is, I think this might suit you better more than me, though.~"

Rhea ran her fingers over her arm, letting out a hum as Lilith explained that she had another piece coming, and as she disrobed and began to put the new suit on it held some remarkable similarities. Already Rhea was suspecting that there was going to be some kind of catch, but she just had to wait a bit. "Makes me curious what this other piece is. And what other redesigns you went through to land on a new suit." That wasn't to say that Rhea was ungrateful, and even if the first iteration wasn't as good as the second it was more than enough that Rhea needed; she wasn't one to find herself on the active front and preferred to work in shadows. This suit just meant she could be a little more bold, which...maybe that was what she needed. Some way to be a little more proactive in order to find the men she wanted to kill.

As Lilith teased her, Rhea couldn't help but let hungry eyes wander over her. They might only have had a handful of encounters, but out of all the partners Rhea had up to this point Lilith was definitely the most fun. The offer to zip Lilith up was something she wasn't going to pass up, either. Just because Rhea had seen it all before didn't mean there wasn't a thrill to have a hand in teasing Lilith firsthand, and so she stood as close as possible to the villainess as her fingers took hold of the zipper and slowly brought it up. She leaned in partway to give Lilith a kiss, only to pull back at the last possible second. "I think I'll call out of work tonight. I get the impression you're up to no good, and I'll have to...peel you out of it.~" A smirk crossed Rhea's face as she finished zipping, but made no move to step back. "Besides, I get the impression I have to pay you back for the hand-me-down. Name your price." It was a poor choice of words, and Rhea knew it, but she also couldn't help that Lilith wanted to do something dangerous or foolish, and it'd be up to her to keep her out of the deep end.
