✧ THE RUMBLING ✧

Despite all the odds, the giant golem had been tipped over. Although expressionless, it was clear as day that whatever was controlling this golem did not prepare for this outcome. It was already scrambling to get back to its feet, pushing itself off the ground when Shion’s bombs rained down on it, shelling it back into the ground with another loud rumble. More cracks form along the behemoth’s armor, hot steam seeping out from the cracks like a kettle about to boil over.

Then, the boss laid motionless.

Observing, calculating…

Then, as if the steam itself was propelling it to move faster, it tried to get up again, urgency much more prevalent in its arms. It was not only being beaten back, there was an intruder under its armor. The monstrosity staggered when Claudio threw its pawns at its head once more, the smaller golems shattering effortlessly upon impact, but it wasn’t enough to stop it from trying to get up, not until the cloud himself came roaring down, punch after punch making visible cracks in its helmet as it struggled to get back up. The steam kept rushing out of its face, faster and faster to match the pace of Claudio’s punches, coming to a crescendo when a multitude of bombs planted by Elijah burst inside of it.

Powerful steam and explosive fire rushed out of it, anyone who dared stay near the thing was sure to catch some nasty burns. One after one, Elijah’s parting gifts went off, ensuring as much damage as possible against the golem. Silence filled the air surrounding the giant, its first layer of armor crumbling and blowing away like dust in the wind, leaving Elijah somewhat vulnerable as Emi sent the final two small golems flying towards its leg. The minions were going to be destroyed on impact, but could Elijah escape unscathed? The small golems would be the least of his worries.

Now exposed to the sun, the golem’s second layer of armor just like Elijah had seen it. Its build was much more elegant and slim than the chunky armor it wore previously. It was also covered in holes, hundreds of them pointed in every single direction. However, cracks from the bombs it had sustained were already forming along its new exterior, right arm even came off completely, strangely absent of steam as it crumbled and slammed to the ground in pieces.

Still, that didn’t stop the boss from deploying its next attack. From finishing the job and killing those that had miraculously held out for this long.



Whirring roared from under its armor as spikes, spirals, began to rise from within and fill up the holes that covered its body. Locked and loaded as it stood there for a second. Ideally, the boss would have been able to cover every angle, but its right arm had fallen off, leaving a blindspot. The question was, were they all fast enough to make it there, or take cover on their own? Sure, some of them might survive, but if they were selfish, how many of their comrades would die? They had seconds to make their choice.

Like a gatling gun, the golem released the spikes all at once, aiming to kill everyone that opposed it. The projectiles were soaring out at frightening speeds as they tore through cars, buildings, pavement, everything they came into contact with like a hot knife through butter. Glass and other loose debris and rubble rained from the sky in the aftermath. The behemoth scanned the area silently, were there any survivors?

Then, more whirring came as it loaded another set of spikes.

TL;DR: The boss is about to get back up, but Shion’s bombs and Claudio’s attacks stall it. With their combined effort and Elijah’s bombing under its armor, the first layer of armor breaks away, revealing a second, slimmer layer of armor covered from head to toe in hundreds of holes. As the first layer of armor falls away, Elijah is incidentally exposed to one of Emi’s attacks, as she sends the last two small golems flying at its leg.

Getting back onto its feet, the giant golem begins loading its holes full of spikes from deep within its body. It then fires a deadly attack in all directions to try and kill everyone at once. However, critically, Elijah’s act of sliding bombs into the holes made its right arm come off completely, exposing a blind spot in its secret attack.

✧ THE STORM ✧

These runts were turning out to be a bigger problem than he had first anticipated. What kinda first year students knew how to avoid lightning or just took a bolt to the chest head-on? The arrogance these students were displaying was obnoxious and he was hellbent on crushing it. First he was going to crush their spirit and only then, when they were begging at his feet would he give them the slow death they had earned for themselves. When the wall of temporal deceleration suddenly appeared, his eyes went wide as he turned his head to look at Farrin. ‘‘So that’s how you did it.’’ He grinned menacingly, blood continuing to seep out from between his teeth as his eyes went manic. He had just found his first target. A violent force of wind suddenly rose up around the villain, manifested from pure anger just so he could shred the adhesive round Farrin fired at him.

Before he could dispatch Farrin, that grating voice hit his ears once more. The laughing one, the one that took down his bro!! ‘‘Shut up! Shut up!! You don’t know anything you’re just a- a stupid frat boy!’’ His face was growing redder by the minute, veins on his head popping as his anger rose. ‘‘I’ll kill all your friends and then-’’ A fistful of goo flung from Kenta flew straight into the boss’s face, muffling his angry rant before it could really take off and blinding him temporarily. Not only did he not get to fire back his totally amazing comeback at Zenkai, but this further exposed him to the last combatant, unable to defend himself as she formally made her entrance.

Just at the last second, the Storm tore away the goo with more concentrated, violent wind swirling around his face, but it was already too late as he felt something grab him, and promptly took a Mei punch to the face, before being thrown up high into the air, his scream fading as he flew further and further up. Still disoriented, the villain just barely started getting his bearings as he fell back down, catching a glance of Tamaki up close for the first time.

‘‘IS THAT A FUCKING DRAGON-’’

Slamming into the ground head first with all the dignity of a heavy ragdoll, the Meguro square went silent for a beat. The villain motionless in the dust cloud before he finally came back to.

‘‘You’ve done it now.’’ He wheezed, soaked in slow healing pain from head to toe as he stood back up. ‘‘I’ll kill you off…’’ He held up the fingers on his mangled hand, each finger snapping into place as he looked between all of them. ‘‘...One by one.’’ Opening his mouth, he unleashed his next weapon as he allowed a purple mist to exit his body.



The most accurate visual descriptor would be to call it purple mist or smoke, but it was more akin to the same wind he manipulated using his quirk, only it wasn’t pushing anyone around. In fact, it seemed harmless until its victims were unfortunate enough to inhale it. ‘‘You’re brave enough to fight me.’’ He cackled low, his voice still hoarse from the beating he took. ‘‘But are they?’’

His purple attack spread rapidly, covering the entire district of Meguro in seconds. Those unfortunate enough to inhale it would be met with a wall of sound, screams, cries. Civilians crying out for help in the darkness, people bleeding out, pleading for their loved ones, children screaming for their parents. The combatants were in there too, voices both illusory and real joining the cacophony of tortured souls as Mei, Farrin, Tamaki, Zenkai and Kenta all heard each other’s voices except for their own. Despite the fact that they could see each other, the purple smoke barely obscured their vision, it still sounded like their friends and temporary allies were getting tortured to death. Some of them, if they had loved ones, family, close friends, guardians, even if they had been dead for years, their voices too, joined the chorus of anguish.

Taking advantage of the confusion, the villain quickly summoned an updraft under Mei, sending her flying into the air, three rotating cars stalking close behind her. ‘‘Let’s see you dodge this one!’’ He grinned manically as he tore another series of lightning bolts out of the sky, aiming them straight at that nuisance Farrin.

Turning his attention to Tamaki, he scoffed. ‘‘A dragon.’’ With another thrust of his arm, he sent a huge, forceful gust of wind at Tamaki’s legs, trying to knock her off balance, before summoning a volley of lightning bolts from the heavens down on her as well, hoping to take her out in one go. ‘‘Now you!!’’ The anger rose in his voice once more as he pointed at Zenkai. ‘‘You sit and WATCH as I kill your friends.’’ With a wave of his hand, he pulled a gust of wind down from above to attempt to press Zenkai into the ground while he turned to Kenta. ‘‘Hello goo boy.’’ He spat out some blood as he lunged forward, trying to grab Kenta by the throat.

TL;DR: Storm boss sees Farrin use his quirk, uses his wind to negate Farrin’s adhesive launcher attack. He gets pissed off at Zenkai and takes a goo smack from Kenta and a punch from Mei before getting tossed and slammed back down into the ground by Tamaki. His regeneration helps him recover, but he seems to be slowing down. Once he gets back up, the boss releases another attack that assaults his enemies’ minds. It’s a purple wind-like smoke that causes auditory illusions, forcing everyone to listen to the sounds of civilians and loved ones crying out for help as they’re slowly being tortured to death. Using this chaos to his advantage, he sends Mei flying up, accompanied by three cars and sends another volley of lightning bolts towards Farrin and Tamaki respectively. Finally, he tries to force Zenkai into the ground with a strong gust of wind blowing from above, while he lunges at Kenta and tries to grab him by the throat.
