The things that he does is for his own benefit, even if it means the heartbreak or broken state of those around him. The end result after he is gone has little consequence to him, as at that point he's already gotten what he wants. If he is unable to, he'd rather just stop trying in hopes that others pity him and given in eventually. It's a twisted way to act, and isn't the way he has always been. Deep down, there is compassion, care and a real wanting to connect to people, but there is a multitude of things that make that reality for himself close to impossible.
There are times that he is just having fun and being a young adult. He loves joking around and trying new things if given the chance, especially if it sounds a bit dangerous! With him having more opportunities for things due to his age, he wants to make the most of it.
Aiko wouldn't say that he is in full control of how he acts, or who he is. Though he may never admit to such a thing, many of the things that Aiko does is due to his quirk, rather than a true wanting to. Usually with a baited breath or hesitation, Aiko likes to take a moment to distinguish his own actions and those that are being suggested to him; sadly, the average person would not be able to see this internal struggle or his willingness to perhaps not do it.

Aiko is a handsome man, and he knows it. With a big smile, he likes to showcase his appearance to those that would like to look at it. He doesn't always boast about his body, but he is built well with well defined muscles. His eyes are a striking red that seem to follow you as you move, with pupils that seem to be an odd diamond shape. His hair is long and white that seems to shine in the moonlight; he keeps it long and sometimes places it in a ponytail or bun. The ends of his hair seem to naturally go into a darker red. Aiko's eyebrows are black and rather thick, but he feels that they add to his face. Piercings are done to his ears, though he usually keeps in his black hoops. He has markings that look similar to tattoos all across his body. If you ask them about it, he will say that they just "appeared" slowly. His horns are sturdy and red, but they are more dull than sharp, unlike his teeth. His fashion is for comfort, and usually wears things that are loose fitting to leave things to the imagination, or purpose for a surprise.

Aiko's past is pretty simplistic. Being an orphan due to being born with small, red horns, he went around from are to area and survived off what he could offer. Most of the time it was physical labor for free, or someone to do the work around the various villages that was just unsavory. From a young age, he grew a tolerance for this distain that people gave him. A demon, a devil, an oni; they were labels that entitled him to nothing, but defined how he carried himself.
Hatred was never the right word, but perhaps a dislike, a wishing for better, or wanting to know what it felt like to be like them. Did the wind feel different when you weren't covered in dirt? Did water taste better when it wasn't salted with sweat? It was little things that make Aiko curious, to the point that this curiosity bubbled.
Okia, that's what Aiko calls whatever he talked to. At first it was a voice in his head, a friendly one. It gave him comfort and companionship when he had none; it was someone to lean on when there was no one else. Years would go with just the two of them. Any interaction Aiko had with others felt not as real, even though he had no way of knowing that whoever or whatever he was talking to was even real. It didn't matter in his mind at least, as he felt happy.
There was another, a boy around his age, that he fond of. Though he never stayed in his village long, he'd make it a highlight to go and visit the shorter baker's boy, knowing that his cheeks got red every time they even said hi to one another. Was it awkwardness of not knowing how to truly talk to anyone else, or was it more? To this day, Aiko would probably not share the true sentiments of those moments. Sadly, this little infatuation was not something that Okia appreciated as the conversations between the two of them were dwindling in comparison.
One day, the boy was not at the store. With the father looking down to Aiko is disgust, Okia swam into his ear, telling him to search the house for the boy, to see what was wrong- to make something wrong. Staying around the store and picking up on gossip, he found out that due to Aiko, the boy had been sent away to another country as to not give his father a disgraceful view in the village.

After all these years, the voice manifested into a mask, clear as day, and presented itself to him. "Wear me, and you will gain strength and power like you've never had. You can take revenge on this man, on any man, with my help." Aiko didn't hesitate. With his conflicted emotions, he grabbed onto the mask and wore it, ending the lives of the boy's parents that night like it was nothing.

[i]Simply put, Aiko's quirk has manifested into a mask that is permanently holds him back from his true potential. This mask gives him a boon in both strength and durability (quirk) all while being a physical manifestation of a person's darkest emotions (flavor). Aiko also has horns and red tattoos that seemed to have manifested from excessive use of his quirk (flavor).[/i]
Placing a hand over his face will make this mask appear physically for himself and others to see; at a close inspection, it resembles an oni mask with red and gold accents. It will float in view of Aiko and others after activation, usually to the right of his face unless otherwise held or moved. While the mask is out, it will actively talk to Aiko in his head, commenting on situations, helping him make decisions, but more so mainly trying to influence his choices. Though it isn't know if this mask is another entity or simply the true manifestations of Aiko's deepest, darkest emotions, its intentions seem to be malicious.
- Aiko can only get the boons to his strength and durability while he is wearing the mask, not while it is out. While he is wearing the mask, both stats are lifted to the quirk's level, as well as the mask's influencing voice becoming much more prevalent in his mind, and more demanding. Unknowingly to Aiko, he is actually naturally strong and durable; the mask is just tricking him into believing he needs to wear it to have any power, in turn suppressing his strengths and making him reliant and become even more corrupted.
- The mask usually gives out suggestions that are violent, crime based, or otherwise mischievous to make Aiko's life harder, and to make him a more spiteful person. This doesn't always happen, as sometimes the mask "likes" people or situations and will instead convinces Aiko to instead get closer or continue to do it. Sadly, this usually leads to a much more vicious ending with heartbreak or betrayal.

- No one else can hear the mask's voice, which can make Aiko seem a bit delusional as even though he can talk to the mask mentally, he prefers to reply verbally as it was a way to cope with his loneliness.
- Long term usage of the mask will cause Aiko's muscles to ache with tingling to the point that he cannot move properly. Alternatively, his muscles can become stiff instead.

Aiko's fighting style is messy, hand to hand fighting. You get hit, and he gets hit, most likely. He isn't afraid to get roughed up if it means that he got a few good hits in as well. Crys grew up in a tiny mining town in Colorado, USA. At the age of 6, Crys' family home collapsed, taking the life of her father who protected her by keeping her safe inside a metal box until help arrived. From that day on Crys became a stoic, barely socializing with others and practically devoid of emotions. She was socially stunted from then on making interactions with other people difficult for her to comprehend. All of her focus went towards her own pursuit of becoming a Hero. She believed that if there were better heroes in the world that her father wouldn't have died that night, so she seeks to become a Top Hero in order to set the standard for what Heroes should be. Moving to Japan, after an incident involving Crys defending her mother from her then step-father, Crys went to UA and eventually met Akira and became a professional hero. Akira helped Crys come out of her shell and begin to understand social interactions and express emotions (at least better than she did). They started dating, fell in love and got married. After a leave of absence from the field for her pregnancy, Crys gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Amira. Being made from Crys’ DNA the covers are able to shift to whatever element, compound or state of matter that Crys does. The boot is armored, able to encapsulate the wearers foot or up to their knee when fully extended. The boots use a strong compression spring on each foot that when enough weight is bore down on the spring they can compress and launch the user with a shift of their weight forward. Strong insulation is in the sole of the boots to dampen impact and decrease the tension in the shock absorbing heels to compensate for small and frequent impacts or strong and hard landings.
There are also powerful air compressors in the flat of the boot able to jettison the wearer with a strong burst of air as well as twin air jets on he back of the boot to stabilize movement while in the air. Jets are not strong enough to hover or stay active for longer than 1 second burst intervals.

i don't want to talk about this.
(emie was born of a difficult labor that her mother would not survive. this event bore a rift between her and her father that would never close. as emie grew, so did her father's resentment of her. by the time emie was in school, she and her father lived mostly separate lives.
in school, emie was unremarkable. she had few friends and her test scores were middling. few peers resolved to talk to her, so emie lived a lonely life. given the many hours she had alone, given her father's general absence, emie often spent them transfixed by old movies and television shows, where she gained a passion for the performing arts.
she never was popular by any means, but acting gave her a reason to keep coming to school by the time she was in high school. it allowed her to put on a new face, a new identity that was not emie ankage, the lonely girl with no friends, no family, and no joy. she often played comic relief characters, as she found herself gifted in physical comedy. her local shows ignited a new passion in her—being able to make people laugh!
as soon as she was able, emie ran from home and joined a local troupe of actors and improv artists, who themselves had a small group of modern day clowns. from here, she had a new identity—puddles the clown!
as a clown with a gifted talent to make people laugh, especially with the use of her quirk, emie found herself at a local children's hospital often, where she was hired out by the hospital to provide entertainment to dying and sick children. before this moment, emie had been sheltered from the tragedies of daily life, living blissfully unaware of the unfairness of existence. it was in this hospital that she finally reckoned with the reality of life.
emie met a little girl named misa. she had cancer, but her outlook looked good. emie and misa got along so well, that emie slowly began to favor misa more than the other children she entertained. to emie, misa was the first—and last—friend she ever had. they just understood eachother in a way nobody else could.
and then misa died. the cancer metastisized and spread to her blood, and she died within a month of emie starting to work at the hospital.
emie lost it. she had been religious before, often praying to god to rescue her from her dad's abusive household, but not anymore. how could there be kindness or happiness in a world that allows children to die at 8 years old? how could there be real joy if it was so fleeting, there one moment and gone in the next?
emie's worldview shattered and shifted in an instant. she had once been so optimistic, and now she turned to extreme nihilism and paranoia. her life had sucked. everybody else's life sucked too, it appeared. not even her old passion, acting, made her happy anymore. though emie kept returning to the hospital, children kept dying. what the hell was the point of life given so much tragedy?
there was no point, emie concluded. none at all. so what did any of her actions on earth matter?
she was still hopeful though. maybe there's something after life that is good. maybe there is a place where there is no more suffering, where all dads are good and all moms live and all children with cancer get better. emie wanted to reach that place. in all of her endless compassion, she wanted all of her peers to reach it too so that everyone could go party in the afterlife.
so she killed someone. and then another person. and then another. and when everybody is gone, she'll be the last to go to the afterlife. finally, she'll be free.
finally, something that makes her happy.)
