When it came to killing, Olivia wasn't one to hesitate unless the direction result of that affected her in a negative way. As she took in the place, she was thankful that Arsenal had not come and even more thankful that Bakuretsu hadn't brought her crazy friend. With the cramped spaces and oxygen containers, her usual approach wouldn't do. [break][break]

After she beheaded the closest person she changed up her weapons. She needed something more precise and close ranged, no better option than her 'Torch of Sin'. Wielding one of the cleavers, she would close the gap to the furthest group a few quick slices to bring them down to their knees and then execute them. She was trading off power for precision which made her a bit slower, but luckily she wasn't alone. After this they'd likely have to divide and conqueror since the people onboard would definitely know someone was here. Maybe they could use the ignorance of these people to their advantage.

"Of course you can; I know that already." She did have experience with that exact fact when they had a stakeout a month prior. Arsenal was the sniper in that situation and she sat in that form for over 6 hours. Frankly it was impressive how she intuitively knew how to operate as so many different weapons but that was just it. She was good at her job but her arsenal truly was a mile wide but an inch deep. That was what this practice was for. [break][break]

With Olivia having to fight this battle for both of them, she dropped any pretense of aggression and would focus on dodging the duo. Tuning out the boos of the crowd, she'd speak quietly to Arsenal, "Listen, focus on my Armor-Piercer." she'd gesture to it on her back as she wasn't using it for the time being, and Amber knew better than anyone how much she relied on it. "What can you do if you have something to focus on? Merge with it, improve it." An upgrade for her weapon would make not only her more effective as a killer but also make Amber a bit more threatening, and she wouldn't make mistakes like...turning into a bat just now. Great. Still, she had to focus on the explosive movement. As the snake went for another strike, she would drop from the wall and dash forward again with the same explosive movement. It was a bit slower and she could feel her legs cramping up but wasn't that the saying? Do or die. She wasn't a reckless person, but perhaps she could afford to do so with Arsenal as insurance.[break][break]

The pain in her legs wasn't easing up any time soon as she likely had maybe one or two of those at max before she would- wait. She looked back at the weapon in her hands as she saw the octopus person get back up. He would gesture to the snake person to stay back as his arms elongated and produced more arms on themselves. If he was an octopus then surely losing a couple of those wouldn't kill him and she might been rusty in her biology but the extra hearts octopus had provided extra oxygen-[break][break]

She smirked.[break][break]

Her legs were cramping because of a lack of oxygen to her muscles. Everyone who graduated High School probably heard about that and while Olivia wasn't exactly studious, she DID remember not just that but Amber mentioning something at the coffee shop about how they were effective because they had extra hearts pumping blood then wouldn't logic dictate she could do the same. "Hang tight, dude." She'd put the nunchucks on her back next to her Armor Piercer and then it was time to use her newest weapon - Torch of Sin. She would slide the cleavers from her holsters and as the octopus closed in she would take a deliberate, slow but sharp breather, and when she couldn't take in anymore, she rushed forward at a speed she had never achieved before and with a flurry of strikes she quite literally disarmed the man in the blink of an eye.[break][break]

Then the cramps came and she leaned away the far wall as the octopus man screamed in pain with his partner turning towards Olivia with anger. "I can't move my legs. Chain-Brain, I'm counting on you." Maybe something had changed in Olivia or maybe she'd lost the last bit of her sanity. Either way there wasn't really much she could do.

No honor among thieves. If there was a truer philosophy then Olivia sure hadn't heard of it. The very prospect of treasure hunting was right in her wheelhouse, but she was surprised when she was contacted to provide support to their operation it was only aa shock until she realized what they were up to. Snuffing out the competition before they even got started? That checked out and was exactly what she would do if she were in the same circumstance. [break][break]

Olivia ultimately agreed as long as they agreed to her terms which one of them was to bring Bakiri Retsu along. She didn't particularly get along with Retsu or even trust her, but she was a good demolitions expert, and Olivia had something she needed to commission so two birds, one stone. She didn't care if Retsu took some for herself as long as Olivia got a good supply; that was all that mattered and besides, Retsu definitely wasn't the type to think things like that through. She would use Retsu and Retsu would use her, mutually beneficial partnerships. "Yup." Readying her newest signature Armor-Piercer and stepping inside, it was just about time.[break][break]

For a bloodbath.

"Chain Brain, then." As always Amber was pretty literal in how she handled things. She wasn't entirely amused by Amber's antics either but she didn't seem as unamused as the person registering them who gave Amber the stink eye before writing the name down next to Olivia's. [break][break]

Olivia would step out of line and gesture for Amber to follow her, choosing a corner away from the others so they could talk freely AND have their backs covered in case things went south. A bunch of masked criminals gathered in one place was never good, and while she didn't recognize any big names, that didn't mean there weren't any.[break][break]

"The same as probably everyone else here." Olivia would give her neck a slight crack as she finished stretching. "The rewards means each team can get one thing from the prize pool." From what Olivia understood, it was a room where basically prizes were allocated by value and while most people were there for money she was there to see what kind of weapons they had. Regardless of whether they were sabotaged she would just take them either to Djinn or Bakuretsu to get them modified. "I know you're used to killing, but this is a rare opportunity for us to improve our skills in a live fire exercise." She'd nudge Amber with her elbow. "You're getting a little too comfortable with the level of your technique." She'd pause before adding "So am I. So we'll play with our opponents until we learn something new." The speaker said, "Next up, Jade and Chain Brain vs. Winding Wonder and Tako!" Their opponents were someone with snake-like features and another who had multiple arms. "Quirks are freely allowed and any weapons aside from firearms, START!"
