[nospaces] [attr="class","sidebar"] [attr="class","icon"] [attr="class","text-area"]"I can do far more than just my hands, friend." Faith replied with a grin to her face, even as her hands swiftly shifted back to normal with a flick of the wrists as the mass shifted internally. It was time to get going, no doubt the police had already been called. [break][break]
It wouldn't be too out there to presume that perhaps even a hero would be on the way. It seemed like there were always a few on the prowl everywhere she went, at least one active in each major district. It would be foolish to presume there wasn't. [break][break]
And yet, the idea of being chased got her heart beating heard inside her chest. [break][break]
"Better than most! What, you already got someone?" Who was this mysterious woman? She was caught off guard for a moment, and the idea of just leaping straight down 4 stories to the ground seemed almost too foolish, even for her. Maybe she wasn't thinking clearly, maybe it didn't really matter. [break][break]
She was doing a lot of stupid things today. [break][break]
"One second!" She swiftly reached towards the rest of the glass door on the balcony, her fingers placing atop the glass. It swiftly seemed to stick to her fingers, only to fuse to her glass skin. Like a sponge soaking up water, the door's mechanics fell apart as she absorbed every ounce of the mass. Shifting it down to her legs, they visibly bulked up as she finally grabbed Rui's hand. [break][break]
"Alright, I-" She stumbled with her words for a second, but found herself meaning what she said next. That trust seemed almost more terrifying than the drop. [break][break]
"I trust you!" [break][break]

[nospaces] [attr="class","sidebar"] [attr="class","icon"] [attr="class","text-area"]While Rui felt like she had found a wiseman, Faith was beginning to feel like she had found a bit of a kindred spirit. Perhaps not someone who completely understood, but someone who was more than willing to listen, to understand, and to follow along and simply engage with her. Were they eccentric? Sure, absolutely. But it was almost because of their extreme sides that made Faith trust them more. [break][break]
It was nice to have someone she could bond with again. Even if it was only for this one night. She would make do. [break][break]
When the vase was tossed her way, Faith swiftly twisted, her claw-like glass fingers slashing straight through the vase as it shattered around her. A laugh immediately slipped from her lips as her other hand shifted into similar claws, moving to slice straight down the wood of the cabinets to leave horrific claw marks. [break][break]
"You know what makes me happy?" Faith began, that same mad smile on her face. "New experiences. New friends to-" [break][break]
She paused, hearing movement elsewhere on the floor. It was likely that there were apartments on either side of this one, and the shattering of glass and the breaking of the TV was drawing attention. Normally, this was the time where she would have leaped away, her body tensing up. And yet, she relaxed after a few seconds, just letting out a laugh. [break][break]
"I suppose that's our queue to get to work then, don't you think?" [break][break]
With yet another excited laugh, her heart pounding away furiously inside her chest, she swiftly joined Rui in the living room, her finger blades slicing straight through the couch. Fabric ripped and teared as fluff spilled out the pillows, but it only made her eyes damn near sparkle even more. [break][break]
"As soon as we hear footsteps, it's time to bolt. But until then?" Her right hand slowly shifted again, twisting into that of a giant spiked ball, shifting the extra mass within her body into the weapon. "Destroy everything, just this once. I don't need to come back here, I have better heist spots." With a spin, she'd slam the improvised weapon straight into the nearest wall, leaving a massive gaping hole. [break][break]
However, with the intense impact puncturing the wall, a few spikes cracked, some of the tips even breaking off. She tensed immediately, feeling the pain like getting bits of your flesh being sliced. It was the closest comparison she had to what the average individual might be able to compare with. With a soft hiss that escaped her lips from the slight pain, she pulled her spiked hand back and slowly restored it, patching up the damaged spikes. [break][break]
She didn't say anything about the pain, only immediately slamming the wall again, almost out of revenge this time. [break][break]

[nospaces] [attr="class","sidebar"] [attr="class","icon"] [attr="class","text-area"]"Blades are quite useful, wouldn't you agree?" She'd smile with that same sparkle in her eyes, watching Rui as they spoke in turn. They seemed to understand somewhat, and that was more than enough for her. And yet, before she could respond, Rui stabbed a knife straight into their neck and cut it right off. [break][break]
Faith took a few steps back to avoid the rolling head, stunned for a few seconds. "... Uh-" Before she could comment on the very out of place and unpredicted suicide, it seemed that her body was swiftly reconnecting itself, healing and becoming normal again. This time, it was Faith's turn to be intrigued by their quirk, leaning in and slowly looking over her new friend. It really made her start to to think herself. [break][break]
Could she do that? What would happen if she lost her own head? Would she be able to regrow it? She well and truly didn't know, and hopefully never needed to find out. [break][break]
Once she had finally collected herself again, metaphorically screwing her head back on right, she began to move back over towards the kitchen cabinets. "You understand more than enough. Nobody can control me, I am my own person, doing whatever the hell I please, whenever I want." [break][break]
She'd continue to grin ear to ear as she opened the kitchen cabinets, looking at all the glass cups. "Both, you could say. If you're not having fun being alive, then what the hell are you doing? Something wrong, clearly. I say, do what makes you happy."[break][break]
She reached up to casually grab a glass, holding it in the palm of her hand. Suddenly, it was as if the cup was melting, slowly merging into her bare palm. Faith smirked all over again, chuckling quietly. "And where is the fun in doing the same thing every time, huh? Experimentation is the spice of life. after all. Although, I admit, you're braver than I to explode yourself so casually. I don't quite heal that fast, not yet. But you know what? You are inspiring me to do something new."[break][break]
Faith pauses, humming to herself. She didn't really need much more to steal, right? Just one video game console could carry her for a week or so easily enough. "We can have this chat anywhere, somewhere more comfortable. But right now? I am far more eager to have some kind of different fun tonight. Something you can probably help me with, it feels up your alley." [break][break]
The fingers on her right hand slowly shift into long blades, dragging further and further towards the ground as she uses the absorbed mass to extend them. Her heart pounding away in her chest, she reached up to the nearest wall and just began to puncture straight through the drywall, slicing long slashes downwards. "Let's see how long it takes before the cops are called, and we have to skedaddle, shall we? Just, have some destructive fun?" [break][break]
Faith had never quite done anything like this before, her glass heart pounding faster and faster, but it brought such a smile to her face. [break][break]

[nospaces] [attr="class","sidebar"] [attr="class","icon"] [attr="class","text-area"]Hang out? With a self-admitted casual murderer? She should have been appalled by the idea, turned tail as casually as she could and ran as fast as her legs could have carried her. Anyone reasonable would have probably already, after they first mentioned murder. [break][break]
And yet as these thoughts passed through her mind, she just continued to stand there and swallow another slice of apple without a single worry in the world. She mentally acknowledged how far she was willing to accept, just to have a single friend. [break][break]
But they seemed nice.[break][break]
The praise, the compliments, it was absolutely working for her. It was hard not to smile when they called her pretty, or a genius mastermind thief. Besides, was murder really that bad? Many people probably deserved it anyways. [break][break]
Finally bringing her attention back away from her thoughts, she held her hand back out to allow her new friend to watch as she shifted her whole hand into one large spike, and then back to her normal palm. Fingers slowly waving, the soft creaking of glass on glass filling the air. "It's my quirk, dear. You could slice my hand clean off, and I would regrow it eventually. Not a drop of blood." She paused, only to give a soft smirk. "That is not permission, however, heh."[break][break]
She'd finally step back, glancing about the apartment with a thoughtful expression replacing the smirk. "That said, I wouldn't say I am the best thief, my dear. But I enjoy what I do. It's all about the challenge, you understand?" [break][break]
Faith leaned against the far wall, slowly twirling her fingers as she casually tossed the half-eaten apple into the sink. "I could walk right in the front door of a place, rob it completely blind and leave. I'd be rich, but bored. So, bored. Now, climbing up 12 stories to sneak into the office of some business to steal their computers? Watching them from a distance scramble to figure who did it and how? Swabbing for DNA, searching for fingerprints, only to find absolutely nothing? And then, when they replace the window, do it all over again to mock them?" [break][break]
She visibly shuddered with joy at the thought, an intensely wide smirk spread across her lips as she locked eyes with Rui. "Being chased down the street by some fancy goody two-shoes, only to vanish around the corner, leaping from building to building? Oh, nothing gets my heart beating nearly as fast. It makes me feel-" [break][break]
They'd take a deep breath in, an almost mad look in their eyes that damn-near sparkled with excitement. "Alive." [break][break]

[nospaces] [attr="class","sidebar"] [attr="class","icon"] [attr="class","text-area"]This was a very strange person indeed, but she was hardly one to be a judge of character. She supposed they'd be leaving a bigger scene at the crime than she typically did, but where was the fun in being flawless and perfect every single time? Wasn't it fun to let loose, slip a little, and just make a mess for the sake of making a mess.[break][break]
It was then she revealed she was a murderer, so casually, and Faith couldn't help but pause right where they were standing. They didn't seem the brightest bulb in the box, but then again, looks and acts could be quite deceiving. [break][break]
And yet, it was odd. She didn't feel threatened. Perhaps she should have coming face to face with a murderer who apparently can't die, but she didn't even slightly. They actually seemed kind of nice, funny even. [break][break]
"Well, Rui." Faith would begin, slowly kneeling down by the television as she unceremoniously began to unplug the game console that had caught her attention. "I regret to inform you, but I am not here for murder, otherwise I would have absolutely invited you." She shoved the console into the backpack, and once again hoisted it up to their shoulders. [break][break]
"You can call me Frost, dear. It's what I go by, at least." She paused for a seconds, torn between continuing to just search the place and communicating with this intriguing stranger. In the end, they won out. She'd shift along into the kitchen as well, casually grabbing an apple as well. "I'm just here for the valuables, dear. Sweet and simple. As much as I can carry, and then off I go."[break][break]
She held up one of her hands, the glass-like skin only growing more obvious as one of her fingers seemed to slowly shift into that of a knife that she began to just carve slices out of the apple with. "If I murder all my targets, then they won't go back out and get new stuff, for me to take when they don't learn their lesson. Besides, the homeowners left for the evening. They won't be back for hours, it would be boring, lying in wait for that long I imagine."[break][break]
Pulling the scarf down, Faith revealed her face for a moment as she just smirked, taking a bite of an apple slice. Completely smooth skin and even slightly transparent. One could even watch them chew and swallow the apple down if they desired. "Dare I ask, are you a paid killer? Or is it something that just naturally comes up?" [break][break]

[nospaces] [attr="class","sidebar"] [attr="class","icon"] [attr="class","text-area"]Her bare hand had just reached out to touch the sliding glass door, watching it practically merge with her flesh as she absorbed the mass into her arm and swiftly shifted it down into her core. She was just grinning to herself, delighted by finally having an oppurtunity to utilize her quirk when she was rather unceremoniously surprised by an falling guest. [break][break]
With a panicked jump, she quickly rolled in through the small hole she had made, not having nearly enough time to absorb the whole door before she was caught off guard. She just turned back and stared, looking at the poor thin corpse with a frown on her face. [break][break]
What a terrible way to go, but what kind of coincidence was this- Huh? [break][break]
Faith blinked in surprise as the person's body seemed to repair itself swiftly. What kind of quirk was that? Intrigued, she remained still to hear them speak. Not gonna kill? Were people scared of their looks often? She supposed she could understand, anyone with a very visible quirk was always treated differently. [break][break]
It was just human nature to treat those different to themselves with fear. [break][break]
It was the question of snacks that truly broke her, however. She downright giggled, standing up to her feet as she looked around the room. It seemed a fairly boring Living Room, all things considered. But there was a fairly noticeable video game console, tucked right next to the TV. Jackpot. [break][break]
"I don't got snacks," She'd reply with a soft voice, sounding like it was echoing through a wine glass, vibrating ever so slightly. "But I am pretty sure they do here, if you're so inclined. Come in, I certainly don't mind." [break][break]

[nospaces] [attr="class","sidebar"] [attr="class","icon"] [attr="class","text-area"]The city was alive with the active nightlife, club music spilling out into the streets, neon lights blocking out the stars. The hustle and the bustle of the city had almost completely eclipsed nature in this part of the city. [break][break]
And yet, it was just perfect for her. [break][break]
A long sigh would slip from their lips as they dangled their legs across the rooftop, looking down at the street a few stories below. Everyone else would keep going about their days, they all had places to be, sights to see. And hand slowly stretched out, looking at the way the lights of the city reflected and refracted through their glass skin. Sometimes it was a little mesmerizing, just watching it all. But tonight, they had one single goal. [break][break]
To feel alive. They didn't need anything else. [break][break]
Standing up to their feet, they'd adjust their dark clothing for a moment, pulling their hood up above their head. Hoisting their mostly empty backpack up onto their shoulders and tightening the straps, it was time to go. [break][break]
She had just watched the owners of a specific, fourth floor apartment walk out the front doors of the building. It seemed by the way they were dressed, they were going to some fancy night out. A good time as any to make her move. They had a large window that led to a small balcony, breaking in would be painfully easy. [break][break]
Unaware if she had any watching eyes, she'd quickly jump across the rooftop to the building next to it, and then leaped straight over towards the apartment building. Grabbing at the edge of the balconies, she'd lift herself up over and over until she'd made it to her target. She was usually in and out pretty quickly that being seen never mattered, but some part of her was always secretly hoping for a bit of a chase.[break][break]
A wide grin formed on their lips, behind the scarf pulled up overtop their face. Faith then whispered to herself, heart pounding away. "Alright, it's showtime." [break][break]

Quiet and reserved, Faith tries not to attract attention to themselves in public. An introvert desperate for real friends, real genuine bonds, they have long bouts of loneliness that cripple their heart. All their life, they've been either coddled for being too fragile, or abused because it was easy to do so, and yet despite all this they still hold onto hope that there are yet some people who are genuine. That somewhere out there is a lifelong friend just waiting to be made, someone who agrees with them, someone who they can just open up to. Despite all this, Faith finds her joy within dangerous situations. Coddled and protected for so long, adrenaline has become their drug. They adore parkour and urban exploration, breaking into places that the city has long forgotten and making a home for themself. Even horrific accidents leave them smiling and desperate for more, more of life no matter the pain. And if they just so happen to break into a few homes and steal some valuables and technology every now and then to keep themself afloat, what's the harm? Despite this, they do have a soft spot. Anyone who suffers because of their quirk, whether they are bullied, abused, or simply suffer because society refuses to help them, they will always step out of their comfort zone to do something about it. They'd be a hypocrite if they did anything less. They might be identified as a villain, but even villains have standards. Budding ideals of Quirk Supremacy have already begun, society is the one that has yet to catch up. [attr="class","body"] [attr="class","header2"]APPEARANCE » HEIGHT: 5′0″ » WEIGHT: 260lbs » EYE COLOR: Blue » HAIR COLOR: Translucent White » SKIN COLOR: Slightly Translucent White » FACE CLAIM NAME: Antarcticite » FACE CLAIM SERIES: Land of the Lustrous Faith is a fairly short woman, but the first thing most people notice about her is how the light shines through her glass body. The sun refracts in multiple directions like looking through a vase on a windowsill, but quite frankly this trait only annoys her, sometimes making it hard to see. Her glass-like skin and hair is incredibly smooth, but often filled with a few visible cracks that have recently begun to heal. Her legs are full of them, never going easy on them no matter how often she should. Her facial features give her an almost boyish or androgynous appearance and with makeup never sticking to their skin, they never bother. During their casual moments, they like to dress up fairly formally. Even when they're not interacting with anyone, and especially when they're alone, they'll put on a suit. It gives them that air of confidence and energy to get things done, always carrying themselves so prim and proper and looking rather elegant. However, as soon as night falls, Faith switches attire drastically. Full athletic gear with a hoodie, random clothing almost every time. Half of it stolen, so it never matches. They wear it out and about when they're jumping from building to building, embracing their love of parkour, or committing some casual thievery. As of yet, they have no "Villain" outfit, as they view themselves mostly as a casual, opportunistic thief. [attr="class","body"] [attr="class","header2"]HISTORY Faith grew up a very sheltered life, her parents never allowing her to ever go anywhere on her own. And who could blame them? They had to raise a glass toddler that seemed to constantly shatter anytime it fell, a danger even to themself. Perhaps as a child she demanded such intense focus and care, but her parents never grew out of it. All her life, she's dreamed of escaping, running away. They didn't allow her to go out of the house on her own, not without both parents supervision. All it took was one accident at school where bullies broke off both of her legs that she was stuck at home for practically the rest of her life. She hated every second of it. Treated lesser because of who she was, instead of praised for what she could do that others couldn't. So terrified that she was going to suffer that she was never allowed to actually live. She started slipping out of home at the young age of 12 in the middle of the night, just running. Eventually, running became her escape. She began running, leaping, and soaring between buildings, climbing up walls, it became routine. The energy, adrenaline, excercise, it was everything to her. It was the few moments that she actually felt free to be who she wanted to be, to do whatever she wanted to do. As long as she was home before her parents woke, everything would be fine. Their routine continued on for years, studying during the day, pretending to be the spineless good child who never argued, only because it meant they suspected her less for her true rebellions. She even began exploring her quirk, embracing her true nature. Faith quickly realized that it didn't matter how fragile she was, she would always bounce back eventually with enough effort. A shattered leg forced her to learn that practically overnight, hiding the injured and shattered limb from her parents was tough, but she managed it. It didn't take long for her rebellious acts to attract the attention of other local neer-do-wells. They saw someone who could get things done for them, climbing up buildings to unlock them from the inside, but all she had seen was an attempt to make a few friends. So desperate for companionship, that she did so many things she shouldn't have. Got into so much trouble, and even hurt people, all because she thought they were her friends. All it took was one single accident, a shattered leg, and she was abandoned at the scene of their latest crime rather than helped free. She was broken, both literally and metaphorically. Faith didn't get caught, but she almost wished she had with the heartbreak she went through. Her desperation for real, true friendship has still never been satisfied, and at this rate she doubts it ever will, but she still struggles to hold out hope. Her parents had noticed a change in their daughter, but before they could really even debate on the cause of any of her problems, she turned 18 years old. Immediately, Faith moved out without a single word to her control-freak parents, seeking to try and live just a normal life. A normal job, a normal everyday routine, just... normal. She couldn't stand it. Eventually, after a night of lots of debating and internal turmoil, she finally returned back to the streets. Her heart had filled with such joy once again, and she's been the same ever since. This time, she steals for herself, and only enough to get buy every week. Her true love has always been the open night sky, the empty city streets, and the rooftops that called her name. Perhaps one day, she'd learn to stop damaging her legs in the process, but it was precisely that pain, the shortness of breath, the beating of her glass heart, that made her feel well and truly alive. Limit Breakers: 2 Available | 3/45 Used [attr="class","body"] [attr="class","header2"]QUIRK QUIRK NAME: Glass Body QUIRK RANK: C QUIRK TYPE: Mutation QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Glass Body has mutated Faith's body and is composed entirely of glass-like compounds, that has fundamentally reshaped her biology. Their organs function differently, but overall have the same, if not a very similar function. Their glass heart still beats inside their chest, despite a lack of obvious blood, but it keeps them alive. From this unique mutation, they're able to absorb glass from other sources to patch up their wounds and repair shattered and missing limbs entirely. Excess mass can be even stored to be healed with later, if situations demand. Paired with this unique healing ability Faith is able to manipulate the shape of their glass body, shifting their mass and any excess around in unique ways. From reshaping their arms to be like twin giant spikes, adding blades to their feet so they can ice skate, or simply shifting it to adjust their balance, it's fairly versatile. QUIRK DRAWBACKS: Despite Glass Body's Incredible healing potential, it takes time and material to function properly. Without excess mass, they're unable to restore any part of their body. While they can recover from many injuries, they are still glass. Precise strikes like a chisel smacked with a hammer, or a powerful blunt strikes like a baseball bat to her knees will spread cracks through her body relatively easily and severely damage her. While the mass-shifting properties are very versatile, only crude shapes are able to be made with any decent speed. Attempting to form something small and precise, like a key with their finger would take an incredible amount of time to perfect, but also would be so thin and weak. It would be easy to accidentally snap off in the lock if they were not careful. Regardless, they are still a human, and their body shape can't drift too far from it. On top of all this, glass gets heavy quick. Attempting to store a lot of mass at once slows them down intensely, and they can only safely absorb as much weight as they can carry. Overuse of their abilities can swiftly make them dizzy, losing control of their own mass.
