Man, Farrin and Speed Demon were at each other's throats, or she had to assume as much since she was locked in her own fight and could barely make out what they were doing at the speed they were zooming around at. As much as she would love to sit back, watch and learn from their match, she had a feeling Terminus wasn't going to let her.

What bothered her about his power was that he clapped to seemingly make himself intangible when she swung her bat at him. However, the blow she took just now felt hard, much harder than your average person, almost like he was made of stone or something. Then... If he really was that durable, why even bother to avoid her attack? Was he scared of her bat? Maybe that was the key to beating him. Unfortunately for her, she wasn't exactly some quirked-up fighter who could throw punches that folded cars or whatever quirkers were up to. This meant that while her bat could most likely harm Terminus, it was also going to make all her attacks predictable unless she could out speed or outsmart him. So then why was she using her surprise grappling hook attack so blatantly and so obviously throwing away her element of surprise?

To put it simply, it was bait.

''W-Wait!!'' When he tugged on the cable she knew she was doing something right. If she couldn't overwhelm him with speed, she simply needed him to think he was winning until the very last second, make him confident that he didn't need to clap and use his power, but could instead strike her at full force. It was a stupid risky gamble, but it wasn't the first time she had fought alongside Farrin and taken big risks.

Pretending to be surprised by his sudden show of strength, she struggled for the first couple of seconds or so before he pulled her towards him at high speeds. This was the moment of truth. He hadn't clapped to make himself intangible yet, so there was a good chance she could hurt him. Once she was about halfway towards Terminus, Freja engaged the grappling hook mechanic on her bat and began reeling in the cable, it would give his hand the equivalent of a mild rope burn, nothing too drastic, but it would also speed up her advance towards him significantly. Then, skidding along the floor, she lowered her body to slip under his clothesline, having fully retracted the grappling hook by the time she slid up behind him and leapt forward to try and strike a blow against his back. If she was lucky, she could out speed the clap.

Farrin

After her journey back to Denmark, everything she had been through, from confronting her past to growing closer with Sumi... Suddenly, standing in this Sports Festival arena which she had been so anxious about earlier in the year felt almost nostalgic. ''You can say that again! How have you been, Farrin?'' She waved back with her free hand while the other clutched her bat. She wished they had more time to sit down and talk and really just catch up on what they had been up to, but unfortunately that wasn't why they were here. ''That suits me just fine.'' She smiled, looking over at Farrin. ''Are you sure you're fine teaming with me? I might hold you back.'' She teased, knowing full well that unlike other students, he didn't subscribe to the whole 'your quirk is everything' sort of mindset.

She didn't recognize their opponents, but chances were they didn't know who she was either. Farrin? Well, he was kind of too talented for his own good. At this rate she was heading into the match expecting them to know who he was, or at least to have heard rumors about the time turner. ''I'm a woman so that'd make it fair, right? In here we can choose our opponents after all.'' The armor immediately caught her eye. Would it feel like sparring with Masao-senpai? If so, she might know of a couple ways to attempt to bypass the armor.

As soon as the bell rang Freja watched her desired opponent pivot and immediately head for Farrin. ''H-Hey wait a minute!'' She exclaimed, caught fully unprepared by such a simple bait and switch. Now that she was seeing her move, Freja was kind of relieved she wasn't squaring up against the armored one. Who would have thought she could move that fast?

''Guess that leaves us to fight.'' She spoke up, looking to the guy in the tailcoat. ''I'm Freja Helt. Let's do our best!'' She smiled confidently. Not because she expected Farrin to carry them to victory, but because this was one of the first times in a long time where she was fighting for fun and not for survival. She readied her bat and once the guy didn't come at her she simply started her charge. Only one way to find out what kind of a power he had, and that was by getting him to use it.

Assuming she even got within range, Freja would try to hit the guy with her bat once she got within striking distance.

''Likewise.'' She couldn't stand seeing Sumi like this, but the moment she woke up a sense of relief flushed over her. ''I hope it was a good nap.'' She said jokingly, trying to lighten the mood. When Sumi gave her response she blushed a little bit too. ''Then... There's one last place we need to visit.'' One that meant a lot to her, or rather, had meant a lot to Elias and old Freja.

A short bus ride and a little walk later and the girls would find themselves in Kongelundsskoven. In a place like Tokyo it would be hard to fathom how a forest like this could be so close to the middle of the city, but with Copenhagen's seamless blend of urban city life and nature it was almost a given. ''It's close.'' She reassured Sumi, holding her hand as they walked so long as Sumi was comfortable with it. ''Are you okay, by the way? You're not cold or... or in pain or...'' She trailed off. The sound of leaves rustling under their feet and birds singing in the trees was all that surrounded them. ''This is it.'' She said when they came to a small lake deep within the forest, nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

''They used to come here all the time. Elias and Freja, that is.'' She smiled, rubbing the back of her own neck. ''It's my first time seeing it outside of those old memories, but I can see why. It's so peaceful and quiet out here.'' She walked to the edge of the lake and took a deep breath. ''Sumi, can you help me look for some sticks?'' It was an odd request, but it would all make sense as Freja began making two small mounds of dirt by the lakeside. ''All this time, I thought I was Elias, but I realized that's not the case. I'm not Freja either even though I have her name. I'm 'Freja'. Like, a whole new person Freja.'' Her hands were getting dirty, but she didn't mind. This was her one last elegy to her old selves.

''I always thought that it was unfair that Elias was the only one that got a funeral.'' Once the sticks were put into the ground, it was clear to see that they had marked two makeshift graves. ''At first I thought it must be lonely, but then I realized they both live on inside me. In a way, Elias and Freja will always have each other.'' She smiled up at Sumi, before looking back at the graves, giving them a respectful bow. ''Sorry, you two. This is the best I can do. One day I'll make you better graves, but I wanted to pick a scenery I know you used to love.'' She stood there for a moment, her heart feeling heavy as she felt a weight lift from her shoulders. Tears silently fell onto the grass below her as she wept for the unfortunate Helt twins. From now on, she was going to live as herself, live proudly and live a life they could both be proud of. Live a life of her own. She sniffled and looked back up at Sumi, giving a weak smile as she wiped her tears away. ''Thank you for giving me that. Let's go home... Back home to Tokyo?'' She opened her arms, offering Sumi a hug.

Sumi Okita

With how quirks were firing off left and right she felt like she had been plunged into an active war zone. Why exactly had someone like her, without powers, decided to want to become a hero again? She was still looking for the answer as she learned to understand herself and why she had been revived the way that she was. In the meantime she might as well try to do some good along the way. Make her second shot at life a little more positive and hopeful.

''Don't listen to her, Jun!'' She called out as she ran into the street, stopping a safe distance from Stronghold to point her bat at her. ''You didn't come this far to give up, did you? If giving up was an option you could have done so years ago!'' Her arms were trembling looking at Stronghold. She knew her life wasn't in danger and yet she couldn't help but feel extremely intimidated. Not that she could let Jun or any of the others see that. ''Villains don't play fair? Th-That's fine! Heroes don't have to play fair either!'' With a press of the trigger on her bat she fired the hidden grappling hook at Anya, attempting to both try to hit her, but also buy time for Jun to get back into the fight or run away. The thing they don't tell you, what Freja was slowly beginning to realize in her previous encounters with villains, vigilantes and even in these training exercises or during class, was that you didn't ever really go to the battlefield. The entire world was already a battlefield.

''H-Huh?'' She glanced down at herself. ''Wait, that's not what I meant!'' She stopped herself as she realized explaining everything to him would probably take up an entire afternoon and that was time they simply didn't have. She would have to live with her embarrassing mistake. Her embarrassing televised mistake as he reminded her. ''B-But that's not what happened at all! It was strategy! I did it to avoid getting hurt!'' She desperately tried to save face, did she really make him look like a common pervert?

''I-It wasn't awkward until you made it awkward!'' She felt her face turn beet red as she shouted back at him, putting her bat down for a moment to slip her shirt back on. He could easily have attacked her while she was doing it, but given his character and their current shouting match she assumed he wouldn't be satisfied with a cheap win like that. ''What you're capable of?'' She had cooled her head a bit after she picked her bat back up. ''Do you have something to prove?'' She hoped her questions weren't annoying to him, but his response genuinely made her think. She was here, becoming a hero originally because it was someone else's dream, but now she did it to try and find herself. Could she prove herself too? Not in manliness, but as her, as the consciousness that called itself Freja?

''Or is it for fame.'' She held up a hand. ''I don't judge either way, we all do this for different reasons- I was just curious..''
