''Yeah.'' She was more than happy to rely on her, and know that Sumi could rely on her too. It wasn't an exaggeration that part of why she was working so hard at training was because she wanted to protect the people close to her. Her friends, her family, and especially someone like her best friend Sumi. ''Great breakfast choice.'' She approved with a thumbs up. ''I'd be right there with you, but I think I'm too nervous. I'll just have to go all out for lunch.''She waved her hand dismissively. ''No no, it's okay. I doubt anyone would know besides Danes, it's like an in joke of sorts? Except it's not really a joke, just a place with a lot of prestige and historical importance.'' Now that she thought about it, that grumpy girl she had awkward encounters with before. Ylva Riis, did she know about Hotel D'Angleterre? She wasn't about to ask her, not until she figured out a way to not completely bomb their conversations, but the thought crossed her mind for a moment. ''It'll be the most impressive tour you've ever been on.'' She giggled. Those days were she was desperate to prove herself, desperate to be someone others could count on, they were all starting to seem so distant. She clung to Sumi for dear life, shocked by herself, that her reaction was so strong. Not that she could help it. ''S-'' She stopped herself from apologizing as Sumi wrapped her arms around her. Instead she just kept holding on, letting the panic and adrenaline fade from her body as her breaths became deeper and more relaxed. ''Yeah, let's wait.'' Her eyes were sad and stressed out, but she also looked back at Sumi with a deep appreciation. Before Dream World she would have freaked out about being this physically close with someone, especially Sumi, but she wasn't now. She still did feel a bit awkward though. ''Looks like our food is here.'' It was her cue to slowly break away from Sumi and sit upright again. Good thing that she did because it didn't really dawn on her how close they had been until the moment they broke away. Sumi's presence, her embrace... It was so warm and comforting. Not to mention her eyes, had her eyes always looked that beautiful? Freja pretended to rummage for something in her carry-on to hide her blushing once more. ''Okay, yeah.. Thanks.''When the lights in the plane were turned off to allow for passengers to sleep all she could do was stare at the wall, her head spinning with memories from the past and worst case scenario thoughts about the near future. Pulling out her phone she turned onto her back and looked at some old pictures, pictures from before. There was one of her and David. No, Elias and David taking a picture together. They both looked so happy. Out of curiosity, she turned to look over at Sumi. Was she asleep? Sumi Okita

''Eh? Food? There's a menu?'' She looked over as instructed and sure enough. ''Usually I just eat whatever they serve me flying on the cheaper tickets.'' She could hardly hide her disbelief and excitement. ''Is this a plane or a restaurant? There's so many options!'' She had always known there was a difference between how her and Sumi had been raised just purely based on their parents' income, but she didn't think about it that often. Sure, Sumi's place in Tokyo was fancy and she had that yacht party, but she didn't usually think about money with Sumi, or rather, maybe she was so approachable and amiable despite having all that money? She would expect some people to maybe be a little out of touch with reality if they were born rich, but Sumi disproved had disproved that many times over. ''France, huh? I heard it's really nice in the summer.'' She was already eyeing what drinks to get, but didn't want to seem rude either and made sure to look Sumi's way as well. Her eyes lit up when Sumi handed her the pillow and she happily accepted it. ''So soft! ~'' She exclaimed, testing the pillow with her hands. ''You're so thoughtful, you always think of stuff like this.'' She smiled over at Sumi, blurting out the next sentence in her excitement. ''I like that about you...'' Only realizing her mistake in coming on a little strong after the fact, though she tried her best to hide the regret she felt inside. ''..Best friends?'' Now it was really impossible to hide her red face, but thankfully she could hide some of it behind the pillow under the guise of feeling the softness. ''Yeah.'' She smiled, feeling her heart beat a little faster. She had memories of Elias and Freja making friends and calling them best friends, but she wasn't sure if she had ever made one herself until today. ''Once we get to Denmark I'll be your best friend tour guide.'' She did a mock salute with her hand before giggling. She looked down at Sumi's hand as she put it over her own. Her presence here really did make all the difference. She used to think she was something of a loner, and was better for it. No need to make friends when she enjoyed her own company, no need to open herself up and be vulnerable to the world when she wasn't even the owner of her own body. She was a loner when she first arrived in UAU, but... Hadn't she become a bit reliant on Sumi? She thought it was something she would feel guilty over, but it felt nice didn't it? ''R-Right..'' All they did was chat and then she fell asleep, right. ''..Hey that's what best friends are for, right?'' In a way, Sumi had saved her life too, so she tried to brush it off with a brave smile. ''I'll be okay.'' Her shoulders slouched a bit. ''But if it gets really scary I might bother you.'' She conceded. ''Yeah?'' She grinned, ''Sure, I could go for something too. Something small in case we get a lot of turbulence.'' She still wasn't a frequent flyer and she would rather not take her chances getting sick when she was sitting next to her crush. She looked back down at the menu, only looking up when Sumi brought up accommodations. If physics permitted it, Freja's eyes would have popped out of her head then and there. ''Hotel d'Angleterre?! That's like the fanciest place in Copenhagen!'' It shouldn't surprise her since it was Sumi, but she still couldn't believe it. ''You'd be hard pressed to find a Dane that doesn't know about that place. It's super famous.''When it came time to order breakfast she would get herself some snacks, a nice warm tea and some water on the side. The flight was going to be a long one after all and she didn't like running out of water. Speaking of which, despite her newly acquired fear of the ocean she didn't shy away from looking outside the window to savor the view from speeding through the skies. At least until the plane tilted just a little bit to the side, making their window point more sharply down towards the ocean. Maybe it was just shock, but she immediately felt a fear response, her legs and arms shaking as she turned to Sumi and leaned on her shoulder with her eyes closed. Sumi Okita

''This is where we'll be sitting?'' She blurted out in disbelief as she took her seat. ''There's so much room!'' Even someone as tall as her could stretch out her legs with no problems. Was this how Sumi usually flew around? She still couldn't believe her luck. That she wanted to ask Sumi to come with her, but then Sumi coincidentally also needed to go to Denmark for some business things. ''Hey, do you go to Scandinavia or Europe often?'' She smiled, trying to suppress her nerves. Not only was she still terrified of going back to Denmark, but she still wasn't sure if Sumi had heard all of her confession at the Dream World festival before she passed out. That was still so recent too. She had been worried sick about Sumi the whole time she was stuck in the dream. Part of her wasn't even sure she would have made it out if she didn't have her safety to stick to as her goal. ''I haven't been back in a while.'' She fidgeted, looking down at her hands as their plane took off. ''Uh- thank you again by the way. For these tickets and everything. I bet sleeping in these seats won't be a problem at all.'' She punctuated her sentence by leaning back into her soft seat as a little test of its comfiness. Turning on the TV screen provided in her seat she almost felt choice paralysis looking at everything that was available, and finally settled on a map that showed the route they were flying. ''...We're going over the ocean?'' She felt a cold shiver run down her spine. She still heard that leviathan roar in the back of her head. ''I guess Japan is surrounded by water.'' She sighed in defeat. After staring out the window for a bit she turned to look over at her friend. ''Sumi? Can I ask you something?''Sumi Okita

Unfortunately for her, she was already looking away from the creeping light, and perhaps too preoccupied with her own feelings to really process anything else. ''Y-Yeah!'' She agreed with Sumi, her face beet red and her shaking hands in her lap as she started to muster up the courage to confess. Finally after saying her piece she looked up at Sumi and... ''Sumi?'' She felt a pit in her stomach seeing Sumi pass out. ''S-Sumi, are you okay?!'' She hastily stood up to go check on her, but suddenly felt a sharp pain in her chest that made her collapse onto the floor, screaming as if something was forcibly growing inside of her. A fire raged and the pain brought tears to her eyes. Then, a memory. -------- She couldn't be much older than 8 years old, but she was playing in the yard while Elias was reading a book under a tree. No wait, was she seeing things from old Freja's perspective? She thrust her fist out and fire emerged from it, flames licking a stone in front of her for a moment, before fizzling out. ''That's it!'' She held her fist above her head triumphantly and shouted to the skies. ''Sacred Flame! I'll name my quirk Sacred Flame!''-------- A pain, hacking cough brought her back to reality. She fully expected to cough up blood with how terrible she was feeling, but was surprised to find that smoke particles were escaping her lips, building in intensity with each cough. What's more, there was embers mixed into the smoke. Was she burning up from the inside? She pushed through the tears and the pain and dragged her way over to Sumi. ''Sumi!'' She called out, still no answer. There was no doubt in her mind that this was a quirk attack, but how could it happen here? Wasn't the festival being guarded by pro heroes? ''Sumi!'' She put a hand on her shoulder and tried to shake her awake. Was she burning up too? ''W-We need to get out of here..'' She moved over to sit next to her and was in the process of picking her up when the mysterious light above finally caught her attention. One look up was all it took to be whisked away by the dream. ''Really? Um, Mako-kero, I don't want to sound rude, but could you let us out, then? This dream is wonderful and all I just- I have places to be.'' She had a hard time believing Mako, mostly because she didn't seem malicious at all. Was this even an attack to begin with? She had so many questions and it felt like their circumstances just got more confusing with every passing second. ''Right, yeah. Do we have anything in common?'' She followed up on the idea Elias posed. ''Any commonalities at all? Have you two made any enemies that might want to like, hurt you?'' If it came down to it, given their situation she might let it leak that a group of assassins was after her, but only if it seemed like they could be behind it. She blinked her eyes at Mako when she mentioned how she thought going to the festival was stupid, and that she could be a manifestation of the thought. ''Okay, ouch.'' She said, not really offended just surprised. In the abyss she was eagerly chasing the fish. After all, scary as this place was she didn't need to worry so long as she had her bat by her side. It wasn't until Mako mentioned an anglerfish that she started getting nervous. Elias of course was just as impressive as she expected every quirk user to be, using his threads to do what she couldn't in a fraction of the time. ''Maybe we-''A deafening roar shook her to her very core, immediately looking towards the source of the sound, eyes widening with fear as a giant eel monster appeared to swallow Elias in one fell swoop. ''Elias!'' She reached for her bat, but hesitated. Smacking that thing with a bat, what good would that do? She reached into her pockets to get the lighter and cigarettes, but found herself paralyzed with fear as the monster turned towards her. Thankfully, in their moment of desperation she noticed that Elias was alive and barely hanging on. ''M-Mako make it go away!'' If this was her dream, surely she could make it disappear, right? What was it Sumi did back when Kei's robot had escaped and gone haywire? She helped box it in by making smoke walls, could she do something like that too? Would lighting a cigarette under the ocean even work? Considering the physics and logic they had been dealing with so far there was no reason to think it wouldn't work, this was a dream after all, right? Her hands were shaky as she put the cigarette in her mouth and lit it, trying to replicate what she had seen Sumi do in the past. She was hoping to create a wall of dense smoke to slam the leviathan eel with, aiding Elias in the process. Whether a woman who had been quirkless her whole life could pull something like that dramatic off she wasn't entirely sure of. EliasHojirozame MakoMatsuTL;DR: Freja asks the others if they have any enemies, trying to identify why the three of them ended up together. When the leviathan appears she is scared at first, but remembers seeing Sumi use her quirk in the past. She then attempts to replicate one of Sumi's techniques, using the smoke quirk to attempt to make a dense smoke wall she can slam into the giant monster to help Elias escape and stop herself from being swallowed too.

''Really? I never thought that much about colors...'' What she had wanted to say in that moment was insist that Sumi would look beautiful wearing flowers, but she was too flustered processing the compliment she had just received to think ahead. ''Eh?'' She looked down at Sumi's hand as she took hers and began leading her. At first she was startled, but was soon giggling at the situation. Maybe her friend was just a lot more hungry than she had realized. By the time that the evening was beginning to draw in she was exhausted. Tired in the best way possible from easily the best day of her life, but tired nonetheless. She was going to sleep so well when she got back home! Then come back out here again tomorrow. ''Right? We saw so much today!'' She grinned. ''My favorite thing?'' She was about to take a bite, but set her chopsticks down and looked out at the slow setting sun. There it was again, her heartbeat telling her how she really felt. It was a shame she couldn't show Sumi, or tell her but... Or maybe... Their day together had been amazing, at least it seemed like Sumi had the time of her life too. So why not just come clean? If she didn't confess after a day like this, then when would she ever get around to it? She wasn't being true to herself, but it also wasn't fair to Sumi, who had this friend walking around with all these thoughts in her head. Wait, she had to respond to Sumi's question first. ''If I had to choose... I'd say getting to spend my day here with you.'' It just came out of her and it took her a couple of seconds to realize. ''Um... I mean, like, if I came here alone or-or with someone else it wouldn't be the same! Right?'' She was blushing, eyes darting this way and that as she tried to gather her thoughts. ''You're a great friend. No... Sumi, I...'' She started quietly, then took a deep breath. ''I-I like you.'' She could feel her face turn bright red. ''L-Like more than a friend, I really, really like you! I never thought I could like a person, or be allowed to living like this, b-but I have to get it out! I have to tell you!'' She just blurted it out. ''Maybe we could...'' She finally turned to look at Sumi. Was she mad? Surprised? Happy? Sad? She couldn't predict what she was going to see next. Sumi Okita

''Elias?'' She blinked, experiencing a bit of an internal whiplash from meeting a person with that name in a weird place like this. ''..And Mako. You said we're in your dream? I mean, it would explain a lot of what's happening right now, but how is that possible? Is this some kind of quirk attack?'' No it couldn't be, not if Elias was working at his club. ''I was at the Dream World Festival. I'm guessing you weren't anywhere near it.'' She had so many questions, but above all of it all she wanted was to confirm that Sumi was safe. ''Couldn't hurt, I don't see us having any other options.'' She could try to use Sumi's quirk to escape, but she couldn't exactly do that without a pack of cigarettes and the knowledge. Reaching into her jacket pocket as they walked she felt a pack of cigarettes. Odd. Wait, wasn't she wearing an entirely different set of clothes from what she was wearing back at the festival? Reaching into her other pocket she could feel a lighter. ''This is insane.'' She said out loud to no one in particular. ''Is it just me or?'' She put a hand up to her cheek, poking it. ''It feels like something is prickling my skin.'' She didn't like the idea of diving deeper, but being a hero was all about being brave in the face of fear, right? ''Before we go any further I just want to give a heads-up. If we have to work together I'm quirkless... Probably.'' She gave a confused shrug. Diving deeper she kept her eyes peeled and did her best to take deep breaths, as to not freak out and start flailing like when she first arrived here. ''So, dream about the ocean often? N-No judgment from me I just... Well, I'd rather not be here.'' She kept an eye on the multicolored lights, hoping that one of them would be the jewel they needed to retrieve. ''I see it! I got the jewel!'' She exclaimed, reaching out for an orange glow, only to have it swim away. ''Wait- I don't got it, I don't got it.'' In her bid to focus on the lights and find the key to freedom, she didn't at all notice, or even think to consider that they were being watched. EliasHojirozame MakoMatsuTL;DR: Freja agrees with Mako to follow the hints they were given and decides to dive deeper, but not before admitting that she's 'probably' quirkless. In the deep she tries to keep a lookout for the orange jewel and ends up chasing fish instead.

''Control cement? That'd do it. With quirks like that do you even need regular workers?'' She mused, thinking about her career would look like if she had a quirk of her own. Then again, her own case wasn't exactly normal either. Her and Sumi were different, but Freja had been transported into someone's body and was now inhabiting it. If that merger had never happened, would she, Freja as she knew herself, even be alive right now? She shuddered at the thought, but thankfully it was easy to put negative feelings aside when she was in such good company. ''A cold?'' Was her face that red?? The gears turned in her head, then internal panic set in. She didn't want Sumi to worry just because she was getting flustered. ''N-No I'm fine, all fine. I'm just not used to the climate here that's all!'' She smiled, trying to save face with an obvious lie. She froze up when Sumi touched her forehead. Somehow it felt different, ever since she got a crush on her it was like something in her heart started up every time they got a little close to each other. Her hand was soft and comforting, even if it was just for a brief moment. She breathed out an internal sigh of relief when Sumi let it go and they continued on their way. She couldn't lie about having a cold. No chance was she ever going to lie to Sumi. As they passed a under an archway of trees she suddenly realized something. Wasn't she lying already? Wasn't she hiding her feelings and lying to Sumi? Ouch. ''I've got a good eye for flowers!'' She smiled proudly as she crowned Sumi. ''A kikyo?!'' Stars were practically sparkling out of her eyes. ''How do I look?'' She asked, giddy to see how the flower looked in her braid. ''You too! Maybe we should wear flowers more often?'' She was starting to feel a little hungry herself, at least for something small. ''Sure, wanna grab a bite of something? I saw there was a bunch of food stands over that way.'' She pointed ahead through the passage they hadn't come into the flower garden from. Sumi Okita

Her day together with Sumi at the festival had been nothing short of magical so far. Was it a date, or just two friends hanging out? She wanted it to be something more, but she didn't know what Sumi wanted. She had to know, she had to tell her how she felt. She remembered asking Farrin for advice, maybe since today had been so good now was the time to confess? They both stood there enjoying the view of the park, her eyes wandering for a moment as she looked at a tree off in the distance, building up the courage. ''Sumi, I...'' She started quietly, then took a deep breath. ''I-I like you.'' She could feel her face turn bright red. ''L-Like more than a friend, I really, really like you! I never thought I could like a person, or be allowed to living like this, b-but I have to get it out! I have to tell you!'' She just blurted it out. ''Maybe we could...'' She finally turned to look at Sumi, only to see that she had fainted. ''Sumi?'' She blinked her eyes, hoping she was just hallucinating. Then others around them started fainting too. ''Sumi!'' She tried to wake her up by shaking her. An enemy quirk attack? Of course now of all times when she didn't have her bat with her. Wasn't the security at this place top notch? In case someone was watching them she dragged Sumi and herself behind a cover and kept an eye out. Then she felt a strong burning in her chest, an unnatural pain that almost made her throw up as she grew an extra lung. She might as well have with how she was heaving, tears in her eyes as she saw puffs of smoke leave her lips with each cough. Then everything went dark. Being plunged into water was a rude awakening and Freja was immediately flailing like her life depended on it, fighting to get to the surface and only flinching once her back hit the ocean floor. For a moment she just lied there, unmoving, eyes wide open as she took in her surroundings. Remembering the smoke she hastily checked her throat and chest for any signs of burning. What was that pain she had felt and more importantly, what was this weird sensation? She had felt it before, or perhaps it would be more accurate to say Freja, the old Freja, had felt it. Smoke coming out of her mouth when it shouldn't... Maybe she was going crazy, but didn't it look like Sumi's smoke? She stood up suddenly and turned every which way, looking for and trying to shout for her friend. Wait, there was other people here. ''What's going on? Where are we?'' She jumped when the translucent woman spoke, and turned to look towards the voice. ''Our travels?'' Was this some kind of messed up game? Why did she have such a bad feeling about all this, like she had walked right into a trap. ''Are you two in on this? This isn't some kind of messed up prank, is it?'' She secretly hoped she would spot a hidden camera. ''I'm Freja.'' She looked at Elias and Mako. ''H-Hey have you seen another girl my age here? About this tall, short hair?'' She had to ask. If Sumi was here she couldn't just leave her all alone in a place this unsettling. Hojirozame MakoEliasMatsuTL;DR: Freja's last moments in the real world was spent with Sumi at the festival. Just when she is about to confess her feelings for Sumi the attack begins and Freja's quirkless state gets swapped with Sumi's smoke quirk. She was pleasantly surprised when Sumi mentioned that she could show her tomorrow. She was happy that she was getting another day like this with Sumi, that meant she was having fun, right? ''Yeah tomorrow, the park's so big don't you think?'' She exhaled softly, trying to mask her blushing with a big smile. ''I can see why they made it a multi-day event.''She giggled when Sumi did her little twirl. ''On sale? What a steal, you have a great eye for that sort of thing.'' She put her hands on her hips and nodded back at the queue to the ride, motioning for Sumi to follow her. ''Let's get on before the line gets longer.'' Even though it was her idea she could feel herself actively regretting getting on once they had reached the top and were about to fall into water. In that moment she didn't shout in excitement as they plunged. She watched with wide eyes, slightly trembling as she awaited the rush of adrenaline that would take her to the bottom. When they moved forward she braced, closing her eyes as she waited for the cold shower of water to drench them both. Then she felt something warm, Sumi pulling her into a hug. She wasn't sure if it was just instinctive, but in that moment she held onto Sumi too, feeling safe from her perceived fear of the ride even as she got splashed by water too. Although in hindsight she was lucky that more water hadn't gone on her. Especially since she hadn't been as forward thinking as Sumi and hadn't brought an extra set of clothes. ''Y-Yeah! What a rush!'' She smiled back, wringing the ends of her wet hair with her hands. ''Flower garden sounds perfect right about now. I heard the view there is amazing.'' Not that she wanted to go there for the view. The most beautiful view around was already accompanying her through Dream World. ''Sumi, I-...'' She paused, freezing up again. How many times had she practiced in front of the mirror, fearing that her roommates might have overheard her? ''I want to tell you something.. After lunch.''The flower garden was every bit as pretty as one could imagine. There was even an offer to make customized flower crowns for a fee and she was all about it. ''Look!'' She beamed, holding up a multi-colored flower crown. ''I made you a crown.'' She almost cracked up as she continued with a terrible posh accent. ''Your highness.''Sumi Okita

She blinked her eyes at Sumi as she gave her a new perspective on her fusion situation. ''I had never thought about it like that before.'' She admitted with a soft smile, rubbing at the back of her neck with her hand. Had it been anyone else saying it she might have been upset, but she respected Sumi more than anyone else. Her attention trailed back to the sights, eyes lingering on the concert stage for a moment until she attention snapped back to Sumi when she leaned in a little closer than she had expected. ''H-Huh? Mine? I-It's a new one.'' She blushed, her heart pounding as she put her hands together. ''The brand name is Japanese so I can't remember it right now, but I can take a picture for you when I get home?'' Although she was flustered, she was also silently celebrating that she had ended up picking out this particular perfume. Did Sumi like it that much? If so, maybe she should start wearing this one more? She thanked Sumi as she helped her off the lift, still getting accustomed to wearing a dress. ''Oh, sure.'' It was smart and Sumi going off to change while she queued up made her think she should have brought a spare set of clothes too. She was so set on wanting to wear a dress today that she hadn't been able to think of anything else all morning. She took out her phone as she got a text. A message from Eiji with a picture attached, apparently he was at the park too, enjoying a drink with someone she didn't recognize. How cute. It was nice that vigilantes could come to this park and have fun as well. She looked up at the people around her. Weren't criminals permitted to Dream World? She couldn't tell who around her was a criminal, or a villain, but nothing was going to happen even if the place was full of villains, right? Japan's best heroes were overseeing this whole thing, nothing could go wrong as long as they were standing guard. ''Just in time! We're about to board.'' She quickly put her phone away and got on the water ride with Sumi as she returned. ''You look great.'' She smiled over at Sumi as the cart began to climb. There was something she wanted to say to her. Something that was much harder than just complimenting her fashion sense. She had been building up the courage all this time, but the longer their day went on the more she started to doubt she would ever get the chance to bring it up- The ride suddenly dove as they had reached the top and was now headed straight for the bottom, their ride obscured by water as it kicked up around and over them. Hopefully she wasn't going to get too drenched. Sumi Okita

The gladiator was so confident in his lie that he didn't protect himself against Farrin as he took his hand in a forearm shake. After all, why would he? Farrin might be a strong and capable student but at the end of the day he was just that. A hero student. Any hero student who got caught in a situation where certain death was sure to pursue them until they fell would eagerly take an offer like his. Even if he was lying all along. However, when Farrin lifted him off the ground his confident smirk swiftly disappeared. Managing to close the gap between herself and the other villain, Freja wasted no time aiming a bat swing for her face. Just because she was a hero student didn't mean she had to play fair in a street fight. Unexpectedly, the villain absorbed the blow by defending with one of her arms and stepping towards Freja, rather than away from her. Freja assumed she was trying to grapple her, so she took a couple of quick steps back, only being touched briefly rather than grappled. Breathing out she raised her bat again, pointing it at her opponent. Her arm wasn't exactly broken, but the villain had clearly suffered more damage than Freja had in their little exchange. ''I wouldn't do that if I were you.'' She smiled, looking as calm and collected as ever despite how their fight was turning out. ''Do what? If we don't fight you're going to kill both of us.'' Was Farrin in trouble? She didn't dare take her eyes off the villain. ''Oh honey, it's too late for that.'' She took out a pocket knife and started inspecting it as if Freja wasn't there. Freja watched her for a moment and then her blood ran ice cold as she realized what was happening. Growing on her body, phasing through her clothes, it was all Freja's face, guns emerging from the mouths and pointed towards Farrin. ''Fa-rrin.'' They murmured. ''Farrin, that's not me! Run!'' She turned quickly, but not fast enough to throw all the bullets off course. Another hail of gunfire was coming for him, interrupting his duel with the gladiator. This made the gladiator's comeback all too easy. ''Then die!'' He roared as he charged forward. All he had to do was keep attacking Farrin from one side while the bullets raced towards him. Blade or bullets, which did the time student prefer? Farrin

She was all too ready to engage in a shouting match with Retsu, but that was implying they had a lot less to worry about and unfortunately that didn't seem to be the case. Still, she wished that somehow the grenade had maybe caused so much damage that the monster would back off and magically tell all the smaller but still big monsters to go away with it. She immediately fell to her knees and covered her ears, holding on for dear life as the ear-piercing sound compelled her to scream with more fear and pain than she ever had. How could it be? She wasn't being battered, she wasn't being eaten alive. It was sound... Just sound... She couldn't hear it, but one glance over at Retsu was all it took to know she had experienced the same thing. Was it even worth running anymore? She was in so much pain that for a split second she considered not getting up and instead just succumbing to what fate had in store for her. ''What was that?'' She asked out loud, but she couldn't hear her own voice. She did breathe a sigh of relief when she noticed that the other monsters had suffered too. She winced as she felt something trickle from her ears. Blood. When Retsu ran she scrambled to grab her bat and run after her. She didn't know what their plan was, but she didn't want to die here today. How pathetic would it be to get to live a second life, but only live for five years? She had to live. To survive. They both did. ''We need to get out of here!'' She shouted at Retsu, or at least she thought she did, her mouth was moving but she still couldn't hear herself. Hopefully Retsu was faster to recover considering she had a quirk. Quirked people always had it easier, more durable, faster, stronger, super healing, flying. It was bullshit being stuck with no powers. Bakiri Retsu

While her plan to launch herself was successful, she hadn't at all accounted for her own safety. First she slammed into the villain, then the floor alongside him, landing on one of her arms. Broken? Probably. She expected as much, not that she had any time to worry about that considering she was still nauseous and she felt like the smallest tremor would be enough to make her hurl. In the chaos it didn't escape her that the berries hadn't burned her once again. Was Sumi secretly looking out for her? Maybe she- LOUD, LOUD, CHEERS AND WHISTLES.''What is going on?!'' She exclaimed, unable to hear her own voice as she covered her ears and immediately ate a sucker punch from the villain that only made her more dazed. It took her a moment to realize she had been trapped in the barrier with him, but once she did she kicked weakly against his shins, too exhausted to put up much more of a fight, but she would still try to shout over the claptraps. ''IF I HAD MY BAT, IF I HAD A BAT YOU WOULD'VE BEEN F--KED!!'' No longer able to hold back her anger and frustrations, she was content to make this guy's last couple minutes in this barrier a living hell as her teammates handled the dancing spider bot. ''What's with the colored tiles you sadist we could've died!'' She wasn't going to stop kicking or slapping at him until someone announced the test was over. ''Is this fun to you? Here!'' She took off her Rollback watch and waved it at him angrily. ''Put this on and see how fun it is!!''Arataki NoaEmilia HallAimoto MomoSol

She was happy for Sumi, that she was proud of her family. Even if she couldn't really relate with her own family, the fact that Sumi was happy with hers and it wasn't a source of headaches was all the better. Weirdly, despite her own upbringing and the general attitude the internet has towards rich people Freja didn't find herself thinking about Sumi's money or privileged background either. Sumi had all the style of a wealthy person and none of the downsides. She seemed impervious to it all somehow. She was just that amazing. ''Yeah that's quite a while. I missed having short hair at first but I've gotten used to it. Now I couldn't imagine going back.'' She took another look at Sumi's hair. ''Maybe if it was the same length as yours or a little longer, but I like my hair how it is.'' She subconsciously fiddled with the braid before noticing it. ''Like now I can do stuff like this! Six years ago I couldn't have pulled off braids.'' She joked, thinking about how Elias's hair was even shorter than Sumi's current cut. ''I wasn't, but my sister was. Since we fused, well, I guess now I'm scared, but I want to go on one? It's like they're both telling me what they want.'' She wasn't even that scared of the idea of going on a ride. She wasn't sure if it was because she had gotten braver, or if it was because she was more preoccupied with making a good impression with Sumi. It's not like it's a date or anything, but she still wanted to put her best foot forward and make sure Sumi is having a great time, even if they just stayed friends forever like this. ''Wait, really?'' She pressed up against the window too. It took her moment but she spotted Masao red hair and quickly noticed Ylva and Misaki. She still felt bad about how her first meeting with Ylva had gone, and their second meeting too... It was impossible to get a read on her. ''A goat?'' She squinted, failing to spot the exciting goat chase before looking back at Sumi. ''Your eyes are crazy good.'' She quietly took a seat next to Sumi, feeling a little rush of happiness in her chest. Wait... Weren't they a bit close. Was Sumi okay with that? Hopefully she didn't smell. She had put on a new fruity perfume, but what if it had worn off by now or something? She took a deep breath, but as quietly as possible hoping Sumi wouldn't notice. She was overthinking again, she needed to quit that habit and just enjoy the moment. Still, Sumi was so close that she could feel her. Normally they weren't this close. ''Bet you've seen all sorts of things.'' What a relief, so Sumi did like traveling. ''To Europe, huh? That's pretty far.'' She turned to look out the window again and noticed one of the big rollercoasters zoom by in the distance. ''That's the rollercoaster?!'' They were definitely not that big back home. Her eyes wandered as she spotted another place. Once the lift came to an end she smiled back at Sumi. ''I know where we need to go next!''Only the most exciting of rides. This type of ride was common back in Denmark too, if not one of the most popular kinds of rides. If Sumi allowed her she would lead her to the line of the water ride. ''How about it? These are usually really refreshing.''Sumi Okita
