''That guy?'' Rui pointed at Araki as she looked at Retsu before waving her hand dismissively. ''Don't think so, I don't recognize him and his walking around all free and stuff. No projects under Koi are allowed to walk around.''Araki looked nervous, clearly realizing how outnumbered they were. One of the key characteristics with Project Eir was that she was unstable. Not because of her quirk, but because of her psyche. The event that Rui Matsui teamed up with someone to attack this place, well, it was regarded as so unlikely that they wouldn't need to worry about it. Araki flinched as he took in bullets from Olivia's gun, but otherwise didn't bleed or go down. ''Stop her!'' He ordered his men right before two of them were cut down. ''Agh!'' The hallucogenic needles stung him as they flew into his neck, but he would soon come to realize the sharp pain wasn't their main function. As if things couldn't get worse, Retsu was dishing out a ton of damage with her grenades too. Realizing he had to do everything himself, Araki intercepted Rui with a knee strike when she tried to attack him sending her flying backwards. Blinking his eyes, as his vision began to fade he realized what Olivia had done to him. However, before he could defend himself Rui was upon him again, slicing his ankles making it impossible for him to dodge Retsu's foam attack. ''Where... The hell are those stunners...'' He collapsed, unable to fight the rubbery substance. ''You two are pretty tough.'' She smiled up at Olivia and Retsu before following her Bomb Bestie further into the facility. ''Oh man!'' She exclaimed, running ahead into the playground as they entered the room. ''This takes me back! Sometimes they would take me here if I did well on tests!'' She eagerly climbed up a slide, only stopping at the top to look back at Retsu. ''That's me and the others!'' Or at least as many as she knew of. Some of the faces were familiar to her, but not all of them. ''It's just like a painting, bestie, nothing to worry about!'' She put her arms up over her head as she slid down the slide. She reached the bottom just in time to see some Koi guards dressed in some kind of mercenary armor show up with odd-looking guns. Standing up, Rui drew her knife and got ready to fight them, but before she knew it one of the guards fired some kind of electrical pulse at her, knocking her unconscious on the spot. ''Get the others too!'' Lined up like a firing squad, more electrical pulses flew at Olivia and Retsu as they tried to hit them with the 'stunners' as well. The stunners were weapons that temporarily turned off someone's quirk. A weapon designed specifically for combating Rui. Rui was completely unfazed by the chaos that erupted around her after firing the first gunshot. All she did was stare back at Vanessa with a smile and her piercing eyes. ''Queensland?'' That didn't sound like anywhere she knew, maybe this homeless woman wasn't from here? She was going to offer Vanessa the gun so she could take a shot at the man, but before she could the stranger seemed to get ahead of her. Was that her quirk? She watched with morbid curiosity as the ball of trash lit up and she even thought she heard a faint tune coming from it, like something out of a song. ''Pretty. ~'' She mused at the neon-violet red trash, resisting the urge to reach out and touch it. Then, as Starbomb shoved the man and he fell over, Rui erupted in delighted laughter as she inspected the damage Starbomb had inflicted more closely. ''Boom!'' She cackled, sitting down next to the dead man's face to poke at it. ''I didn't see that coming!'' She grinned mischievously up at Starbomb. Friends? ''Besties!'' She exclaimed, grabbing Starbomb's hand and shaking it as aggressively as she could, which with Rui's negative strength probably didn't feel that rough at all. ''Hey, Star Bestie, what do you do for fun?'' She watched her with big eyes, eagerly awaiting her answer. Hopefully she liked violence. Hopefully she liked fighting armored idiots and wasn't afraid of lightning. ''Do you like killing people?'' She put her gun away and shrugged. ''I guess you don't have to like it, but you've done it before right? I do it all the time it's kind of my thing.'' She blinked her eyes and squatted down as she began looting the civilian's pockets, taking out his wallet. Pausing, she looked back up at Starbomb again. ''I'm a villain, by the way.'' Her motives might seem sinister and Rose had every reason to mistrust her, but what Rui really, truly wanted was just to be entertained. Killing Malachite was a means to that end, but killing Rose wouldn't give the same response. It just wasn't the same. Besides, Rose was a gifted music bestie, and Rui didn't exactly have a lot of music besties in her life. ''That sounds so exhausting.'' She smiled up at Rose looking clueless. ''I just live the same life, I'm Rui and Mummy and I kill people whenever I feel like it.''Her smile became wider as Rose clarified the whole getup for her. A call from her Silver Bestie? How could she refuse? She wasn't really up to anything interesting anyway. Amy was still trying to convince her that she needed to train more, but every time she tried to train her skills she always ended up getting distracted messing with other people or doing everything but what she was supposed to. A car suddenly entered the scene, coming to a halt before turning off. It was a good thing Rui had a chauffeur like Amy who could drive her around, otherwise she would have surely entered the scene by crashing the car herself. ''Woah!'' There was a bounce to Rui's step as she stepped out, running up to Church and Yusuke. ''You both look like shit!'' She giggled. ''What happened? Did you get in a fight? Did you record it so that I can watch it later?'' She blinked her eyes and laid down next to Yusuke, stuffing her face all the way up against his helmet. ''Wow, you messed him up! He doesn't even have a face anymore.'' She put her hand on the helmet visor before finally making the connection. ''Wait, that's a helmet.'' She looked over at Church. Should she reveal to Rose that she was actually capable of bringing Malachite back to life right now, or should she keep that trick tucked away. On one hand, she would love being praised for doing so, but on the other she was fresh out of bullets and wouldn't be able to catch him by surprise like she had. She looked down at Malachite's body and gave a casual shrug. ''Oops.'' She grinned, ''my bad, I had been waiting to kill him ever since we first met.'' Rui proceeded to systematically playing both sides, letting her allies help take out the rival gang only to turn around and kill them too before they suspected a thing. The result was that the rival gang suffered brutal losses, but of all the people that went on this mission, only Rose and Rui were making it out. ''Shut up about money for a second!'' Malachite shouted back at Rose, having clearly lost his cool. ''I've got it right here.'' He stepped aside to show a couple of briefcases that were most likely stacked full of money. ''What the hell is going on... How could things have gone so wrong.'' Malachite turned to face Rui as she carelessly skipped into view. ''Mummy! What the hell happened up there?!''''What do you meaaan, Mally? We killed a bunch of guys but they were tough and killed a bunch of us too.'' She was wiping blood that wasn't her own from her face with her sleeve. ''You're a healer! You were supposed to minimize our casualties!'' Whatever bullshit excuse she had planned he clearly wasn't going to buy. ''Ohhh, that was my job wasn't it?'' She said cluelessly, smiling up at him before pulling the revolver she had been playing with earlier and firing a bullet straight through his head, killing Malachite on the spot. Rui landed with a thud, the ice that had kept her feet trapped shattering on the branches on the way down. As she finally came to she rubbed the top of her head and pouted. ''She touched my horns, that bitch.'' She quickly got up to her feet and shouted up to the top of the hole where Ylva presumably still was. ''Hah! That didn't even hurt! Now I'll kill your friend with my knife!'' There was a pause in Rui's shouting as she patted herself down only to realize she was missing something. ''-Where's my knife?!'' She exclaimed angrily, and as she finally stopped to take in her surroundings she realized how dark it was down here. Was someone watching her too? It certainly felt that way. Jeez, if she had just bumped into Retsu right away, or if she could ask the Elementalist for a meeting directly, but that coward wasn't going to invite her in. ''Oop-'' She looked down at her body as she got caught in the webbing of the metal spiders immediately. Great, armored enemies. They looked too strong for those hero students, so maybe she should just run away? Well, assuming she made it out of this trap. All in all, she was taking it pretty chill considering her quirk made her near immortal. ''Hey! I heard that! I heard someone moving, you're not a spider! Bomb Bestie is that you?!'' Having witnessed the whole ordeal Rui grinned as she realized what she needed to do. The person who had been so rude to call Vanessa stinky was soon going to regret it. ''Hey there!'' She walked up to the person, waving and smiling like they knew each other as she pointed a gun at them. ''Come with me.'' She ordered, making the person walk in front of her as she guided them at gunpoint to face Vanessa. Rui was much smaller than the person in question, but stepped out from behind them while still keeping the gun pointed at the civilian. ''Now say you're sorry.'' Rui gave Vanessa a quick smile and a wink, as if to reassure her that everything was going to be okay and more importantly, this was going to be great. ''I-I'm sorry...'' The person stuttered. Pulling the trigger, Rui shot them in the leg, causing them to scream and lose balance. The civilian looked up in horror as Rui pressed her gun to their forehead. She was totally acting superior, and like she wasn't stuck to the ground right now thanks to Ylva's ice. When she spotted Farrin she was about to shout at him, asking if he had seen Retsu, but before she could raise her voice she watched him and the rook he was fighting fall into the new abyss that had formed. Welp, he probably didn't know where she was anyway. She looked back at Kikurage as she fell right in front of her. She wasn't going to attack her since she was outnumbered right now and as much as she wanted to kill hero students she still had a Bakuretsu to locate. Dying quickly would be a mercy on Mira anyway, she deserved much worse for having called her names and trying to make her feel small. Flamemane just sighed as the two continued to duke it out, not at all worried about her own wellbeing or which boss she would end up working for. She had a gut feeling that however unlikely, these two little goblins would get along somehow. In any case, Mira and Rui made short work of these unprofessional kidnappers. It couldn't be helped, they were completely outmatched the moment they ran into several villains. ''I know, I'll introduce you to my besties, they'll know what to do with you.'' Rui stepped up on the body of the kidnapper they had just cut down in unison to try and appear taller than Mira. ''I don't wanna kill you right now, that would be too good for you.'' She stuck her tongue out at Mira. ''I don't mean to speak out of turn...'' Flamemane dusted herself off and adjusted her tie again. ''But if you're gonna argue, can you at least argue in the car? We made a lot of noise and I don't want to be here when the cops arrive.''''Just what I was about to say! What about it? You're coming, right?''
