Rui is a mischievous prankster. She can often be seen goofing around and even has a hard time taking dangerous situations seriously. Whether she is donning her villain mask or roaming about Tokyo as a civilian, Rui acts the exact same way and unless you are one of her close friends or family, there is only one thing on her mind when she has a conversation with you. Money, and whatever else she might be able to gain from you. As someone who has grown up poor, she is always looking to advance in the ranks of society, always looking to make money, even if it is at the detriment to other people's well-being.
At the end of the day, Rui is a fun-loving prankster, but also a very dangerous individual. She is unhinged and very malicious, attacking anyone she wants to regardless of their allegiance, strength or age. She is known to sometimes heal her victims after injuring them, either to play with them or spare them from death, but there is no rhyme or reason behind her actions. She is malevolent and seemingly chooses who should live or die by her hands on a whim.

While those might make her look menacing at a first glance, they are actually a completely harmless mutation that has nothing to do with her quirk. Rui's fashion style can be described in one word. So like, my childhood was pretty boring or whatever. I grew up in this super boring mountain village with no parents and like zero fast food joints, like oh my gosh!!! Doesn't that just sound awful to you? The adults at the orphanage always treated me nicely, but the other kids like, hated me because they were so jealous of my horns and kept comparing me to a baby eating Oni from mythology. Like I don't even know if I like eating babies, but like I'm totes more of a ramen girl if you ask me! Anyways! ~ So like the other kids hated me, so I figured I'll hate them back because like, how dare they I'm a queen. At some point this mysterious guy showed up and adopted me, took me to Tokyo- Oh my gosh! Literal savior in the flesh??
Tokyo is like, the coolest and most trendiest place on planet Earth, I'm not sorry that's just like the facts boo! I remained angry and skeptical of everything around me until I met Lili and Umai!! Something about them just like- we totes clicked immediately! I think it's the fact that we all have horns and like horns are the coolest- but that's just me! If you want the full story you'll like have to ask them not me!
At some point I met this guy called Daiki, he was into like, doing super illegal stuff and I'm like oh my gosh is he so hot or what?? Turns out his dad like, owns a gang and is like a super big deal among villains or whatever. Their family name is Kaneko and apparently there are a lot of Kaneko children and like, a lot of them have horns? Anyway so like, Daiki helped get me in touch with some super cool villains and they recognized that my quirk is like, super cool and awesome and like they praised me because I'm also very pretty and everyone loved me! I guess I just sort of started doing villainy and like committing crimes for the fun of it. Along the way I had to break up with Daiki because he got boring and weird or whatever, but like afterwards I'm like... Isn't it crazy useful to pretend to be like, a Kaneko if I can like, scare people from attacking me by doing that? So like I totally started pretending to be related to the Kaneko family, lowkey amazing plan by me. I'm pretty sure I'm the smartest girl in Tokyo.
Anyways so like, remember Lili and Umai? Yeah so we like, just kind of murdered our adoptive father along the way. Like whoopsie! How did that happen? I honestly can't be bothered to remember the details because like, he used to ground me when I stayed out for too long and that's just a major buzzkill, like why are old people always so boring.

QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Her quirk makes her skin and bones, which is why she doesn't weigh much. Rui has no blood or organs in her body. Her skin acts like bandages would and passively heals her, if she unwraps it and touches someone else with it however, she is able to transfer its healing properties to others. This passive healing boosts her Vitality attribute when her quirk is active equal to her quirk rank.
QUIRK DRAWBACKS: While Rui only heals others when her skin is wrapped around them, she is completely incapable of hurting anyone herself. A kick from Rui will never hurt or do damage, so she has to rely on weapons, such as a knife to do the job for her. When Rui's quirk deactivates, either from quirk overuse, or if someone forces it to, she becomes a completely lifeless doll, unable to move, think or feel anything for the duration. Additionally, her skin will slowly start to unravel if she uses her quirk too much, complicating her recovery process as she only passively heals when all of her skin is covering her skeleton. For this reason, she also cannot heal herself while she is healing someone else.
