She was fully expecting him to take a raisin. After all, who wouldn't accept a free raisin when offered one? When he said that whole thing about lightning and gavel and enemy of the people she just blinked her eyes at him. ''A what now?'' He was starting to sound all hero-like, but he didn't fight like a hero. Usually they held back when fighting weak people and stuff like that. ''So you're not a villain?'' She had no time to react when he said he would execute her, as moments later she was engulfed in the bolt he fired forward, letting out a pained scream as the shock traveled through her and the loud sound assaulted her eardrums.

Once his attack had settled she flopped onto her back, smoke rising from her body as it started regenerating the damage she had taken
right away. An attack like this couldn't kill her, not one attack, but the feeling of being shocked took her back to that time when her quirk was gone. That time she really, truly actually died, that time when all she could feel was electric shock and pain. The result was an intense fear response as she sat back up, immediately looking up at Raiden with fear. ''Wh-What are you doing?'' She exclaimed, reaching out for her knife in desperation and throwing it at him, only for it to clink! unceremoniously off his armor. ''H-Hey that's cheating! I thought we were besties!'' She started backing up, getting back to her feet with some effort. ''I'll be your bestie! H-Hey do you want to like, make bombs with me and throw them at a shopping mall?'' She offered with a panicked smile, clearly not understanding why he was targeting her.

Nobu

Taking every strike and getting back up again, despite her small size she moved at a slow and methodical pace, like a monster from a slasher movie. Or at least she would have had a robot not suddenly joined her descending from the skies. She watched in awe as cherry-red light lit up the night in a flash, a deafening roar filling the air as all the gang members either froze in place, backed off entirely or lost their footing in a display of shock and panic.

When the robot started talking to her she started to question her own eyes. Was this a robot or a person? Maybe if she cut him she could find out. ''The boy?'' She shrugged and raised her eyebrows, looking around her for a moment as if she was expecting this all to be a hidden camera prank. The other thugs were still stunned from the sound, but Rui was already slowly recovering. Enough to have this conversation, anyway. ''I don't know no boy, I'm here because of the money.'' While they had this conversation she let her arms swing from side to side impatiently, playing with her knife while staring at him. ''Are you a person in there? Are you like a robot from the future that shoots lasers?'' She asked with a sort of innocent curiosity.

One of the gang members charged forward, screaming at the top of his lungs despite his inability to hear he was hellbent on trying to take out Nobu with a crowbar. However, before he could get to the vigilante and feel completely powerless against his armor, Rui intercepted and stabbed him, tackling him to the street. Pulling the knife out she stood back up and looked at Nobu. ''You can't kill these guys, I think the people that hired me will get really angry if you do.'' And she didn't really want to make them angry if it could affect how much they were going to pay her. ''I'm Mummy, maybe you've heard of me I kill people all the time, it's sort of my thing.'' In a desperate attempt to get him to back off she mentioned her villain name. She wasn't as notorious as someone like Bakiriretsu, just due to the scale of the stunts the explosion villain was able to pull off, but she was at the very least just as psychotic and killed more people with reckless abandon, making her one of Tokyo's most wanted villains.

Nobu

There was nothing quite like going on a blind rampage. She didn't often do contract work like this, getting hired by people to kill other people just to get paid. It was stable, but like, so predictable too. Do it too much and it would swiftly become the most boring job on the planet.

She had been tasked with cleaning up some small-time gang that had upset the wrong people. She didn't know the exact details, but it was something about money not being paid because the small gang thought they could fight back and take control of their own turf. She was too impatient to listen to the reason why bleeders fought each other. As long as someone was willing to pay she would side with the highest bidder.

''Didn't you hear me, girl? I said get lost!'' One of the thugs stationed at the end of the street was trying to get her to back off, but she just kept approaching with her cup of coffee. ''I warned you!'' He swung a crowbar at her head, breaking her neck in one strike. Only for her neck to spring back into place moments later, as if she had never been struck. ''Are you done?'' She asked matter-of-factly before throwing the cup of hot coffee in his face, giving her ample time to take the knife from his belt while he screamed. She stabbed him several times until he went down, then a couple more times before turning to the rest of the gang with his blood on her face. ''Yeah hi, so I have to kill you all now. Do any of you have quirks? That guy was pretty boring.'' She pointed back at the guy she had just stabbed, grinning maliciously as a few of the other gang members charged at her.

Nobu

''You should show me sometime! I'll show you all the things my quirk can do too! It's really impressive, and like a lot of things and I learned them all myself!'' In fact, her quirk was the most versatile in all of Japan. She could heal, heal, heal some more and in a pinch she might even heal! Her and Frost had oodles in common. Weird mutation quirk powers, check. They both liked to have fun and they could both walk and breathe air, triple check!! ''I believe it, bestie!'' She grinned, nodding her head aggressively. ''Yeah! Amy! She's waiting for me down below!'' She pointed down at the streets once more before holding her hand out again, still waiting for Frost's answer.

''Woah!'' She exclaimed as Frost just casually ate the glass door with her hand. Could she eat them with her feet too, or her mouth? Rui had so many questions, but no time to ask them. ''That's a good choice, bestie!'' She took Frost's hand and held on as she took a couple of steps back. ''I trust me too!'' She laughed before screaming with excitement as she took the plunge, making sure to hold onto her bestie so that they didn't get separated.

Meanwhile, down below, the red-haired woman Amy was enjoying a cup of instant coffee leaning against the getaway vehicle. Watching people leave their offices to go home for the day she couldn't help but wonder where she would be if she hadn't gotten into all this criminal business. Looking up her eyes widened with horror. ''R-Rui-sama?!'' She tossed her coffee aside and immediately pressed a fist up against her palm to use her quirk. ''Stage 5, UNDEFINED!'' Calling out her quirk's name, a giant tortoise popped into existence from out of thin air, letting out a lazy growl. ''Johnson, catch them!'' Amy ordered, pointing a finger at Rui and Faith. The tortoise looked at the two villains and unless Faith objected, both her and Rui would be snatched up by the tortoise's mouth. It wasn't exactly pleasant inside of Johnson's mouth, but their landing was soft. Rui didn't appear too bothered by it, and was laughing the entire way down. ''Okay, release.'' Amy commanded, the tortoise putting its head down and opening its mouth to let the two villains out. ''See, what did I tell you? We're fine! You did a great job trusting me, bestie!'' Rui beamed, covered in tortoise saliva. Turning around to address her other friend, Rui immediately held her hands out. ''Ooh! Amy!'' Before she could finish her request the woman sighed. ''I know... Stage 1, Undefined.'' And with a small twist of her fist Johnson shrunk into a regular sized tortoise Rui could nestle in her arms.

''You didn't say anything about meeting up with friends.'' Amy looked at Faith a little skeptically.

''That's because I just met them! Frost Bestie this is Amy, Amy, Frost Bestie!'' Rui giggled while caressing the tortoise.

''Hey, sorry. I'm Rui's...''

''Bodyguard!''

''...I was gonna say nanny.''

''What's the difference?''

Amy rolled her eyes and stepped a little closer to Faith, offering a friendly handshake. ''Sorry she's... A lot. We're gonna get out of here before the police surround us.'' She pointed back to the car where Rui was already failing to open the door to the backseat. ''Are you coming with?''

Faith Glazier

''Very!'' She chimed in after her quirk brought her back. ''With blades you can cut stuff, because sharp things are sharp!'' She giggled, hopping back onto her chair. ''That's right, bestie! You get it!'' She cheered, kicking her feet as they dangled over the side of the chair, not even touching the floor. She watched Frost with big, admiring eyes. Stars would practically be sparkling out of them if she was a cartoon character. Not only had she come across a really funny bestie with a power sort of similar to her own, but she was so wise too! She felt like she had climbed the mountain to find the wise monk and now they were just passing out free advice, only she had skipped the mountain climbing part! ''Is that what makes you happy, what you're doing?'' She asked it bluntly, but with a sort of blissful innocence. ''What makes me happy changes from day to day.''

She grinned widely as Frost absorbed the glass in their hand and she quickly got out of her seat to grab a glass herself. Maybe with enough willpower she could absorb glass too? She stared at it really hard, like she was some kind of Esper, before smashing the glass into the floor with her hands, laughing to herself. ''Brave?'' She felt a bit embarrassed getting called by such a fancy word. ''Well yeah, it was just an explosion.'' She smiled shyly. ''I can't get hurt, I only really got hurt one time.'' She walked closer to Frost and shrugged. ''But I'm still here.'' New things? She was immediately onboard! ''What new things? Did you feel inspired by seeing my head come off? I can do it again!'' Despite being a stone cold murderer she asked her questions like an excitable puppy. She could hardly contain her excitement. Fun? What fun? She needed to know! No one liked fun more than her! Well, and maybe her new Frost bestie!

She audibly gasped when Frost cut into the drywall, jumping and clapping her hands together. ''Yes yes!! My quirk isn't destructive, but I don't just kill people, I can kill things too!'' She grabbed the nearby TV remote and tossed it at the flatscreen, causing it to crack. ''Die TV!'' She looked around the room, getting a devious idea as she picked up a nearby vase. Looked expensive, perfect for breaking! ''Frost bestie!'' She called out, waiting for them to turn around and see what she was doing. ''Incoming!'' She tossed the vase at them, expecting them to destroy it before it hit the ground.
