Some people at times did tend to mistake his skill in astronomy as astrology. Those were two vastly, different things. Very, very different. Alexandrei thinks he feels some mirth when Auden says that they have reconciled, but he can't deny that it seems like there's still a bit of leftover bitterness in the phoenix's tone, like drinking your coffee and accidentally consuming all the dregs at the bottom. But, it wasn't any of his business— the astronomer thought he had done enough by listening, at most. "Who do you like now?" He asks, letting his curiousity get the better of him, stopping and setting his azure-blue gaze on him. This got more and more confusing the more they talked about it, and it showed by the pout on the astronomer's face, a clear sign that he was having a hard time figuring everything Auden was talking about out. Him trying to understand anything relationship-related was like him taking the final exam for a PhD without having any prior experience in the subject- impossible to comprehend. "I fail to understand any of this," Alexandrei deduces after a moment of hard thinking. "a relationship built on frivolity would eventually lead to one of you leaving the other, correct?" He perches a hand thoughtfully on his chin. "Either way, if you do not commit to the wellbeing of your relationship, you will both get 'hurt.' A hurt relationship is not a healthy one. If you stay as you are, then Chloe will continue to get 'hurt.'" He pauses. "At least, to my understanding, that's a bad thing for both of you."[break][break] He could say he understood it in the bare minimum of ways. Alexandrei had been in a couple of relationships as well, but he was a wandering soul, and those relationships never lasted long- only long enough to feel what it was like to be in the company of someone else further than friendship. He could see there being issues with naivety and gullibility, but that's why she was here- here she was, and here to learn. A blank stare, lax demeanor as he put down his ink pen that he was using to update profiles of the new recent student body with, and a one palette clothing style with a black turtleneck, jeans and heeled boots. Alexandrei was the exact definition of deadpan as his gaze bored into Miroru's, motioning for her to take a seat with out so much of a word to add on with. If he wanted to keep the youth on the tip of her toes, being so mysterious like, he made no indication of such- as in fact, that was how he always intended to act.[break][break] "Based on recent events since your enrolment," Alexandrei starts, lapsing his fingers together as he draws himself closer to his desk. [attr="class","fg-post"] People can try to be inconspicuous, hiding their hands behind their mouths and with lightning quick glances, but to him, a man who's seen the true nature of people down to the barebones of their anger and the sunniness of their laughs, he's no stranger to how people seem more intent on looking at him these days.[break][break] Initially, he based it off how he tended to stand out in the crowds with his golden-blonde hair and the mask on half of his face, but the more he listened to their gossip the second the stark second he came to the doors of Auden's agency, Rising Phoenix, he realised that it was about him. Or rather, them. The media, the magazines who profited off of celebrities' lives and other people's suffrage, had been speculating rather... inappropriately, to say the least. The kindest words he could think them mention was that they looked like "a cute couple", whilst the others commented on Auden's private life. Quite literally.[break][break] But as per usual, he didn't care, and he never would. So he kept walking, and he entered the building.[break][break] He didn't dress that extravagantly as Auden, the long dark overcoat he usually wore was replaced by a light grey jacket and with duller other clothes, completely contrasting the phoenix's colours so much that he reminded Alexandrei moreso of a peacock rather than his other namesake, but he didn't mind. His gaze was less sharp when he surveyed everyone around him that looked at him like he had grown another head and it landed on Auden, who honestly, he was still unsure about.[break][break] It took more than words and a little bit of fire to make him be friends with anyone. Alexandrei was the astronomer who preferred actions over dialogue. [break][break] And dialogue... he was a little concerned that the other person he didn't know the name of who had viscerally glared at him for being around Auden at the cafe. Or more, wondering what would happen if he was here. Nonetheless, he approached Auden, gaze flicking between him and the little pigeon perched on his shoulder.
