That was bad news; if she went all out, this place would no doubt ban her once they got things operational again. Jun didn't want that, she liked McDonalds too much. Where was she gonna get her fries if she got banned from here? And that was before Rui threatened that kid. She didn't see his parents anywhere, were they nearby? It didn't matter, they weren't close enough. So Jun had to act. And she wasn't going to enjoy it. Her body moved, getting low and tackling Rui to the ground. She needed to move this elsewhere, and quickly; this was going to get ugly and she couldn't afford to continue the fight here with the civilians nearby. She had to get outside, and fast. Her body shook as the physical contact made her sick, vision beginning to go black, pain erupting in her abdomen- wait, that last one wasn't standard with her attacks. It didn't matter, picking Rui up she charged towards the door, forcing it open and flinging the villain out. As she assumed her fighting stance she felt a weakness in her core, and looking down saw the entirety of her shirt red, multiple gnashes along her midsection. "-oh." She fell to her knees, her breathing becoming ragged. I've got to do something. This girl is insane, and if I don't do something there's no telling what she'll do to them. Rui let out a grunt as she was tackled to the ground effortlessly. Due to her quirk she barely ever made any effort to dodge attacks. Heck, due to her quirk she barely worked out either, making her a rather trivial opponent for Jun, if not for the way she was messing with her mind and trying to get close to her. Even if she clearly wasn't winning against Jun, Rui still grinned as she was tossed out of the establishment like an unruly raccoon. ''What's that bestie?'' She pointed at the student's abdomen as she got her bearings, sitting up, ready to pounce.

''You don't look so good, don't you think I should take a look at that? I can fix you. I can make aaaall your problems go away if you let me!'' She unwrapped the bandages around both of her forearms, throwing them forward as she tried to wrap them around Jun's midsection. ''It'll only take a few seconds! If you let me I might not kill you!'' She didn't want to make any promises she couldn't keep. Jun was so much fun, but she was constantly weighing what to do. Kill Jun and fight a hero, or keep Jun alive and stalk her as she also becomes a hero. It was so tough to make a decision! If only she would let her heal her and show Rui what her quirk was all about. Was she going to blast her with more chains?? She needed answers!

She had taken nasty hits in the past, including catching a bolt of lightning, but this was possibly one of the scarier moments in her life. She forced herself to her feet, first with one leg and then the other. Jun was the only thing standing between Rui and other victims and she was not going to let there be other victims. Despite her size Jun had a lot of advantages going for her, and if she got one knockout blow then it was possible to achieve a pyrrhic victory. Keeping one hand pressed to the worst of her injuries she'd do what she can to stem the bleeding, formulating the next plan. Only Rui beat her to the punch. This was the worst case scenario as the bandages wrapped around her midsection, staggering back to try and put tension in place so she could at the very least look at breaking free. Something odd was happening, though. The pain was subsiding, and as she looked down the bleeding was beginning to lessen. "You have a healing quirk." Her good arm was trapped underneath the bandages, but with strength returning to her core she started to stratergize. "It doesn't change the fact that you're unhinged, but I'm beginning to see how you operate. Makes me wonder what put you down this path." With her free hand she took hold of both strips, wrapping them around her hand. "Maybe...you can be fixed. But for now, I've got to stop you." As much as Jun wanted to spring her attack, patience was key. A pair of floating shields would come to life half a meter from her, preparing for a potential follow up once Rui realized she couldn't reel her bandages back in. Jun didn't like this situation, but if Rui was healing her then she wasn't going to turn down the opportunity for her insides be be repaired before going on the offensive. Rui Matsui

For her healing powers, a knife wound like the one Jun had sustained was nothing. She was capable of reattaching limbs with her quirk, a little stab wound took her mere seconds to patch up when she really focused on it. Her healing was warm, but not overwhelmingly so, more like if Jun had a heated pillow pressed to her stomach. Once she was done channelling her healing energy, there wouldn’t even be a scar left where Jun had once been hit. “Right? Don’t you feel better now? Aren’t you impressed? We’re besties now, right??” She lit up, finally getting her way as her quirk was revealed to Jun. Even if it took exposing her identity as a villain.

“What are you doing bestie?” She smiled, blinking her eyes as Jun grabbed the bandages. Her strength was no match for the hero student’s, so there was no way she could tug herself out of Jun’s grip this time. “I did! I make my own choices!” She shouted back, blinking her eyes when the shields materialized. “That’s cheating! Those aren’t chains!” She looked down at the ground as she realized she had dropped her knife, not that she could pick it up when Jun was holding her in place. “You like my healing, don’t you bestie?” She feigned a smile.

Jun only had one arm to use, but grounding herself she had enough leverage to yank Rui forward, and once she was in range she'd fire a kick into her midsection. "I can't believe you have the audacity to say that after you stabbed me!" Assuming she got enough slack to get her other arm free, she would take hold of the bandages to maintain control over the villain, mentally controlling one of the shields to slam down onto Rui, breaking apart as it did. "'Besties' don't threaten each other with knives, or the lives of others, all to demonstrate a gift!" The other shield began to melt and morph into something else, drawing more material from Jun's rings as Jun kept her in place. "You rolled high on the quirk chart, and instead of using your quirk for good you're...you're...you've debased yourself into a life that can not only ruin lives, but also take them!" She kept tension on the bandages as an eighteen pound cannon formed, the front of it pointing at the villain. "If you do make your own choices, and you're serious about us being friends, then please. Surrender. There's so much good you can do in this world that doesn't involve stabbing other people. Especially if they didn't deserve it." Rui Matsui

Given that she weighed so little and had no muscles, yanking Rui forward into a kick would be child's play for Jun. She felt the air leave her lungs as the kick connected, letting out a silent cough. Things weren't looking great for her anymore. Had she overstayed her welcome? She glared back at the hero student, only to fail to avoid the shield that came slamming into her next, ringing her bell and then some! ''Th-That's right! I do what I want, when I want! You hero types like to preach about right and wrong, but you're all goody-two-shoe losers!'' She continued to yank and pull, trying to free her bandages from Jun's grasp, then her eyes widened when she saw the weapon Jun summoned next. What the hell was this cheater quirk she had?! Wasn't it just chains and shields a moment ago?

Rui continued trying to back up and pull herself away, throwing a tantrum as she shouted back at Jun. ''Never! I do what I want bestie! You can't tell me what to do!'' She was actually sweating now. Rui was used to not being afraid of incurring damage because of the healing properties of her quirk, but with her bandages caught like this, she wasn't actually regenerating at all. It was the same reason she still felt the sting from Jun's kick earlier, and appeared much less confident now than she had been inside the McDonalds. ''Don't shoot me with that thing! If you do, my family will come after you! My brother will kill you in your sleep, he's an assassin!'' She laughed, trying to regain a little bit of ground with her empty threats. ''You'll never be safe again, not even at school! He'll kill you and he'll make it real slow, he'll totes torture you for hurting me, bestie!!''

[attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... A fire burned in Jun's eyes as Rui made the 'threat', sending the cannon straight at her. She held onto as much slack as possible of the bandages as possible, seeing as Rui was nervous now that things weren't going her way. The giant glowing tube of destruction slammed right into the young villainess to send her out into the street, though Jun was stretching the amount of control she was holding on her. The brother comment rattled in her head, though. Something about it triggered something, a thought or an image...and then realization came to her. "You're a Kaneko, aren't you? You and this brother of yours...That's a sad thing to hear. Tell me all you know about your brother, or I'll start blowing pieces off of you." Jun wasn't really going to do that to Rui, but based on how the fight was going (and the fact that Rui held no qualms about stabbing her) she felt it prudent to get on her level. "It's not a bad deal, 'bestie'. Information for staying intact. I'd hate to turn you over missing your legs, or an arm. The more you cooperate the more you get to keep." Despite all that Jun was saying, her words reflected something strange. Almost like they were friends. That wasn't the case, but Jun wanted to at least make that effort, if not for Rui's sake then Kaz's. Rui Matsui

''Let go!'' She hissed, continuing to struggle and try to free herself. ''You're cheating!! You have chains and shields and cannons and you're holding onto me, that's cheating!'' Her desperation grew with every second and it was becoming increasingly harder to hide. She was silenced when the tube slammed into her, coughing out in pain as she took the blow in full force and tumbled into the street, struggling to get back onto her feet without her regeneration powers backing her up. ''Kaneko?'' Like that guy she used to date? How the hell did this random hero student know about the Kanekos? Sure, they weren't an obscure family name or anything, but anyone who referred to the Blood Devil and his children were usually in criminal circles, or looking to track the Devil himself down. ''So you know about my family.''

It couldn't be the latter, not since the Blood Devil and father of the Kaneko children had been in prison for years by now. Still, she could use this to her advantage! Low level criminals were usually scared of the name. She had actually posed as a Kaneko several times before and intimidated her way out of a fight because of it! If she claimed to be a Kaneko, then Jun would be even more afraid of her and her family! ''I'll tell you.'' She scoffed, ''just because you're my bestie.'' She wasn't actually afraid of losing any limbs, mostly because Rui was used to sustaining inhuman levels of damage when her healing was active. Getting hit by Jun today, it was probably the first time she had sustained real damage in a long time, without her quirk immediately healing it back. Rather than stand and continue pulling against Jun's grip, Rui instead sat on the ground with her legs crossed. ''Have you ever heard about the Many Heads case?'' The case she was referencing was actually still an ongoing one. ''Disembodied heads of the same man have been showing up all over Tokyo, over fifty of 'em! All the heads in great condition, but severed nonetheless! How can that be?'' She continued past her hypothetical question. ''The answer is my brother, Daiki Kaneko.'' She lied, Daiki was her ex, but she wasn't going to pass up on an opportunity to lie about his head obsession to save her own skin. That Daiki was behind the case had been known for a while, but what wasn't known was why, why was disembodied heads of the same guy appearing all over the city? Why was he collecting them like lost toys? ''That's how he kills his victims too. He takes their heads.'' She grinned, definitely implying that was how Jun was going to end up if she continued holding Rui here.

''If you know too much, he'll want your head too.'' This part was true, seeing as Rui knew more or less exactly what his quirk did. What she was never able to parse, and why she broke up with him was why? Why was he so obsessed with information. ''Knowing this, do you still want to know more, bestie? Or do you want to let me go so you can go back to your school?''

Was it the control that Jun was exerting over her? She couldn't tell exactly, but if there was one thing she could nail down it was the fact that she was no real threat to her. Rui didn't have to be. Everything that she told Jun began to put her on edge. The more Rui talked the more she started to scan her surroundings, trying to open up her awareness. There was no fear on her face, but her body language did speak to the wariness she was beginning to adopt. The Many Heads case was something she was faintly following, mostly keeping track with the number of victims. The way she talked, though...she had heard stories of children acting like brats, and Rui seemed to fit into that niche nicely. "I won't lie, 'bestie', I'm intrigued. I'd love to know more, but unfortunately there's not much I can do with that information. But I know someone that might be, and I bet she'd be overjoyed to make your acquaintance." She wanted to make a call to the police, but she'd have to hope that the manager on duty took care of that. For now she had to keep all her focus on Rui and her surroundings. "For now, we're just gonna sit tight and wait for the men in blue to show up. Alright?" Rui Matsui

Her eyes lit up when Jun called her bestie. She was her bestie after all! Soon Rui was going to be free and on her way out of here. Then she could brag to all her criminal and villain friends about how she made a UAU student cry and only chose to spare her because it was funnier than killing her! Embellish and lie, the name of the game! Soon, everyone would fear the villain Mummy, and this was her big break! Sorry Jun bestie!! Just a shame you have to serve as the sacrifice!

''Who?'' She frowned, then started panicking after what she said next. ''Oi!!'' She immediately stood and tried to pull her bandages back again, but it was futile. ''That wasn't our deal! You said I could go if I talked! I talked, so now bestie lets me go!'' Not the police, anyone but the police! She didn't want to go to jail again! ''I-I-I owe you a favor! I can heal anyone you want! Anyone! Sick friend? Old family pet- uh, dying parents? My powers are totes magic, bestie! I'm your own personal genie! If you let me go I can do anything for you!'' She was clearly getting more and more desperate with each passing second. Sure enough, the cops had been called on them as the sound of familiar sirens were fast approaching. Not only was she in trouble because well, getting caught by the police was never a good thing, but the were almost certainly going to be able to see that she wasn't a Kaneko, but rather one of the infamous Matsui siblings. If they shared that information with Jun, there was no telling how her bestie would react and she didn't fancy another torturing session.

The moment Rui began to pull on Jun again she'd double her efforts, pulling the bandages taut to show her that she was going to do everything she could to keep her in place. There was determination in her gaze, and then anger, and then pity as Rui began to bargain her way out of this mess. To Jun Rui was sad. Sure, she was a brat and probably did deserve to get slapped nine ways to Sunday. The crux of the situation, though, was she probably had no one to depend on. She lied, cheated, threatened to make it in this world. What she was putting on was a show, a mask more than likely, to hide her real self. At least, that was the musing that Jun had in this moment. "I'll make you a deal," she says, her voice low. She didn't like what she was about to propose, but maybe Rui really did need a friend. "You do the time, you cooperate with the police and heroes investigating this case, and I promise I'll do something really nice for you." A pause as she looked down, her mind racing as the sirens got closer and closer. "Um. I-I don't know what other girls like, uh...movie marathon? Or something like that?" The first few cars managed to pull up, officers approached. And depending on what Rui decided, Jun would be there on the other side ready for what the future might have in store. Rui Matsui
