I’m ugly as ■■■■.

I ain’t mean that in a soft boy deprecating way I mean that like, I’m ■■■■ing U G L Y. asf!! Hella objectively, to the T! First of all I’m short, which has dictated 80% of a man’s beauty since the asscrack of time; and then I’m all molted up, thick skeins of scars sliding across my skin everywhere you can imagine. Some are from my quirk’s regeneration, some are from fights. I’ve lost track of which is which, picked up a few tattoos in these past couple years. I’m made of muscle, picked up some heft since the last time you saw me, too. My skin’s blue wherever it’s not scarred, choked out by liver mortis, moonwhite eyes unliving.

I ain’t walk like a lil guy, tho. Respect, the way you carry yourself, is everything. I march confidently under my black getups, black Converses, black nail polish. Casual date night, or low key killing, calls for jeans and a dress shirt. Recently I’ve picked up a suit again. My parents were Chilean. Good people, whose only mistake was living in a country that ain’t give a rat’s ass about healthcare. I ain’t know ‘em, but growing up I hella knew why they wanted to abort me. My organs weren’t developing right. I was pinned as a stillborn at best, plagued by a billion dollars’ worth of medical emergencies off the jump. Anyway, they couldn’t afford all that, cause who could? Besides this bigshot celebrity ■■■■ who came outta nowhere to “adopt” me as his own personal promotional stunt. When I was barely old enough to walk, he’d made me his punching bag, an emotional and physical bodybag for all his shit. I grew up angry, ditching class, crashing cars and doing other things to kill myself. We just didn’t call it that back then.

Anyway, all my BS landed me in Japan. A homie of a homie had me on some whack shit, trying to steal a whale. I was eighteen years old and even stupider than I am now. Got arrested, right quick, and bailed out by a yakuza-type gang, the Covenini, who granted me “freedom” in exchange for servitude. I was doing dumb stuff, but this time it was different. Real. I was hurting people, ordered to kill people. I never wanted to hurt nobody. But it was me holding the gun, [i]me[/i] who almost blew up a mountain if it weren’t for the Heroic interventions of my cousin and someone who was too good for this world.

It wasn’t all bad. For a while, I was under the tutelage of someone hella cool, Revision. I made friends, Mo, then my brother in everything but blood, Brie. Other names, but I ain’t gonna blow up their spot. I fell in love with the most amazing, most beautiful girl in all the world. She hella changed my whole life. Made my life revolve around hers, got serious about paying off my insurmountable debt so I could give her the life she deserved. By some miracle and more than a handful of near-death experiences, we did it. She graduated from UAU and I paid off my debt. Proposed, made her mine.

Now we’re chillin. I was lost for a bit. All I knew was my Villain skillset, ain’t got any real proficiencies to show the working world. What was the worth of my life? Things hella changed again when I met this adorable lil punk, Umeko. She gotta bad deck of cards dealt to her starting life, just like me, and actually saw someone like me as someone who could help her. So I did. Fully, freely. I lost contact with her, but that time with her shifted my whole perspective. It ain’t about what I owe anyone anymore; life’s ‘bout what we owe each other, what I can do for you cause I want to, cause that’s how life should be.

With that in mind, I got to work doing what I could for others. Killing demons in human skinsuits, shooting down loose ends, propping up the defenseless with weapons I made. There’s been more than what I deserve in good moments in the past few years, like spending time with the love of my life or going on a world-wide vacation with Mo and more. Loyalty takes me where I need to go; Kazashi McCoy’s the calibration of my whole moral compass, center of my whole world. What’s next for us, y’ask? I’m hella ready to see.

His regenerative properties will kick in without volition to help him recover internally and externally; he recovers quickly from toxins, illusions, etc. Chuck can also willingly regenerate beyond homeostasis, briefly adding more mass to his person or generating aesthetic instabilities on himself (extra arms, mouths, etc). His quirk is confined to the immediate physicality of his body, meaning that he cannot regenerate from severed pieces of himself or generate long-reaching masses like tendrils.

[b]QUIRK DRAWBACKS:[/b] The DNA mutation that confers Chuck his quirk is weak to both time and metal quirks. Both can reverse his dying-regenerating factor or outright pause it all together. Chuck’s hyper regeneration is also a limited resource; meaning, hellacious damage in one part of him will require almost all of its energy and, when overtaxed, will send him out of stasis and into enhanced dying until he recuperates. Narratively, Chuck’s quirk thrusts his everyday experience into a low, incessant drone of agony as his cells continuously shift under his skin. Finally, quite sadly, he’s somehow still stuck with one brain cell.

I ain’t mean that in a soft boy deprecating way I mean that like, I’m ■■■■ing U G L Y. asf!! Hella objectively, to the T! First of all I’m short, which has dictated 80% of a man’s beauty since the asscrack of time; and then I’m all molted up, thick skeins of scars sliding across my skin everywhere you can imagine. Some are from my quirk’s regeneration, some are from fights. I’ve lost track of which is which, picked up a few tattoos in these past couple years. I’m made of muscle, picked up some heft since the last time you saw me, too. My skin’s blue wherever it’s not scarred, choked out by liver mortis, moonwhite eyes unliving.

I ain’t walk like a lil guy, tho. Respect, the way you carry yourself, is everything. I march confidently under my black getups, black Converses, black nail polish. Casual date night, or low key killing, calls for jeans and a dress shirt. Recently I’ve picked up a suit again. Then the love of my life told me she liked me how I was and that was that.

My parents were Chilean. Good people, whose only mistake was living in a country that ain’t give a rat’s ass about healthcare. I ain’t know ‘em, but growing up I hella knew why they wanted to abort me. My organs weren’t developing right. I was pinned as a stillborn at best, plagued by a billion dollars’ worth of medical emergencies off the jump. Anyway, they couldn’t afford all that, cause who could? Besides this bigshot celebrity ■■■■ who came outta nowhere to “adopt” me as his own personal promotional stunt. When I was barely old enough to walk, he’d made me his punching bag, an emotional and physical bodybag for all his shit. I grew up angry, ditching class, crashing cars and doing other things to kill myself. We just didn’t call it that back then.

Anyway, all my BS landed me in Japan. A homie of a homie had me on some whack shit, trying to steal a whale. I was eighteen years old and even stupider than I am now. Got arrested, right quick, and bailed out by a yakuza-type gang, the Covenini, who granted me “freedom” in exchange for servitude. I was doing dumb stuff, but this time it was different. Real. I was hurting people, ordered to kill people. I never wanted to hurt nobody. But it was me holding the gun, [i]me[/i] who almost blew up a mountain if it weren’t for the Heroic interventions of my cousin and someone who was too good for this world.

It wasn’t all bad. For a while, I was under the tutelage of someone hella cool, Revision. I made friends, Mo, then my brother in everything but blood, Brie. Other names, but I ain’t gonna blow up their spot. I fell in love with the most amazing, most beautiful girl in all the world. She hella changed my whole life. Made my life revolve around hers, got serious about paying off my insurmountable debt so I could give her the life she deserved. By some miracle and more than a handful of near-death experiences, we did it. She graduated from UAU and I paid off my debt. Proposed, made her mine.

Now we’re chillin. I was lost for a bit. All I knew was my Villain skillset, ain’t got any real proficiencies to show the working world. What was the worth of my life? Things hella changed again when I met this adorable lil punk, Umeko. She gotta bad deck of cards dealt to her starting life, just like me, and actually saw someone like me as someone who could help her. So I did. Fully, freely. I lost contact with her, but that time with her shifted my whole perspective. It ain’t about what I owe anyone anymore; life’s ‘bout what we owe each other, what I can do for you cause I want to, cause that’s how life should be.

With that in mind, I got to work doing what I could for others. Killing demons in human skinsuits, shooting down loose ends, propping up the defenseless with weapons I made. There’s been more than what I deserve in good moments in the past few years, like spending time with the love of my life or going on a world-wide vacation with Mo and more. Loyalty takes me where I need to go; Kazashi McCoy’s the calibration of my whole moral compass, center of my whole world. What’s next for us, y’ask? I’m hella ready to see.

[b]QUIRK DESCRIPTION:[/b] Chuck’s a regen monster. His quirk always passively heals him, and to keep him in stasis, kills him the same. His regenerative properties will kick in without volition to help him recover internally and externally; he recovers quickly from toxins, illusions, etc. Chuck can also willingly regenerate beyond homeostasis, briefly adding more mass to his person or generating aesthetic instabilities on himself (extra arms, mouths, etc). His quirk is confined to the immediate physicality of his body, meaning that he cannot regenerate from severed pieces of himself or generate long-reaching masses like tendrils.

[b]QUIRK DRAWBACKS:[/b] The DNA mutation that confers Chuck his quirk is weak to both time and metal quirks. Both can reverse his dying-regenerating factor or outright pause it all together. Chuck’s hyper regeneration is also a limited resource; meaning, hellacious damage in one part of him will require almost all of its energy and, when overtaxed, will send him out of stasis and into enhanced dying until he recuperates. Narratively, Chuck’s quirk thrusts his everyday experience into a low, incessant drone of agony as his cells continuously shift under his skin. Finally, quite sadly, he’s somehow still stuck with one brain cell.
