Nights like these were so slow. Rui was all about making things happen. Whether that was inviting friends out to places, or holding up a store with her plastic revolver to try and earn some quick money. Heck, she even roamed Tokyo at night and healed people only to extort them out of all their money, but even that she had no energy for tonight. Sitting in a lonely, neon lit bus stop on one of Shinjuku's less popular streets, Rui was waiting for her bestie dealer to arrive so that she could procure some more poisons. She was wearing a black oversized hoodie for maximum comfort and a facemask to hide her identity, although right now it was pulled down to her chin so she could enjoy smoking her cigarette. Did she even have to hide her identity from her? She had known Tamaki for what felt likes ages and she couldn't rule out the possibility that she had showed up drunk to one of their deals at least once and forgotten to hide her face.

Still, maybe it was like a courtesy thing, and Rui didn't exactly have nothing to lose considering she was an active villain. Even if she wasn't one of those bigshots who went after heroes or vigilantes, she was still capable of terrorizing the general populace! She watched the embers burn out as she smoked her last cigarette. Hopefully with some more poisons on hand she could instigate something exciting.

The quiet night sky makes way for wings woven of stars and moonlight, a draconic figure descending upon these empty streets like predator upon prey. Swift, decisive, her talons click against cracked concrete as bloodshot eyes sweep over the lone smoker.[break][break]

"A bus stop?" Her voice rumbles. Quiet, resonant, cold as the endless cosmos. "Going somewhere after this?"[break][break]

There are no need for disguises here, at least on Rui Matsui's side. After all, she had seen her face far too many times before whilst the girl had been under the influence of... less savoury things. And she'll watch as the glowering ashes of the cigarette crumble and scatter, clouds of smoke waltzing through the winds until they too vanish without a trace.

''Bestie! You came!'' She smiled up at Tamaki. ''The city center, like all the partygoers totes needs my help! But like, I also just really wanted to like sit down and this bench is like, so soft???'' She pressed one hand into the bench, as if to showcase its softness. There was none. It was just a regular hard bus stop bench. ''Like how do they do it? I think it's a new kind of technology.'' Her hand went into her hoodie pocket as she took out her pack of cigarettes and a lighter. ''You want one? They're totes fresh, straight from the convenience store shelf!''

It took her a moment to finally remember why they were even meeting in the first place. ''Oh! Did you bring the poisons? Don't worry, mama here went to the bank so like, I can totes pay for them all on my own!'' She said that last part as if it was something she was proud of. Like asking to borrow money from people was something she had put behind her now, and she had probably asked to borrow money from Tamaki at least twice in the past. The problem with meeting your dealer when you were drunk was that it became very hard to remember all the little details.

Like always, Rui Matsui's terms of affection are met with silence, her story listened to as she rambles on. As a dragon, it's rather hard to cock a brow, and yet she somehow manages to create something of equal meaning, a slight tilt of her head begets a soft snort.[break][break]

"I'm sure a few engineers could help you crack the case on this one. That, or your ass has simply grown numb from all the sitting." They're at least close enough for her to jest, the draconid gradually shrinking in size until she's the mere size of a house cat. And she moves on over, leaping onto the bench and taking a seat of her own.[break][break]

"I don't smoke. Working with poisons is already enough toxicity for me." Her claws tap light against metal as she tries oh so hard not to leave a scratch. Topics that change quick as the seasons make sure that she's constantly involved in the conversation, her tail curls around her only to rest upon a dark satchel.[break][break]

"I do wonder if you'll still be able to pay for it if I raise the price?"

She giggled loudly at Tamaki's response right. ''Right?? Oh my gosh! Maybe if I sit here for too long I become one with the bench! The Bench Demon from Shinjuku!'' She held her arms out as if to imitate an airplane. ''That's okaaay more for me!'' She smiled as she got a cigarette out, resisting the urge to pet Tamaki like she was a little cat dragon. She damn near dropped her cigarette right away when bestie threatened to raise the price on her tho!!!

''Whaaaat? Bestie you wouldn't do that right? Like, the inflation can't be that bad that it affects the price of poison?'' How unfair! It was all those heroes' fault! If they weren't running society the way they were, things would totes be so much cooler! Like, imagine if villains were running the show, how much less stuff like laws and justice would matter! Wouldn't that just be the ideal dream world? Still, that wasn't their reality. The reality was that heroes ran the show and she was about to not be able to pay for poisons. Could Tamaki sense how desperate she was?

Even if it was said in jest, Rui looked down at Tamaki, more desperate than before. ''I'll owe you a favor too! Remember my quirk? I can totes heal you or anyone you know up, whether they're dying or have sore joints or a migraine!'' She finally lit her cigarette and took a huff. ''If it hurts in your tummy, feel free to call Mummy! Do you like it? It's my slogan!''

She offers a mere snort for consolation. Then finds she has to resist an actual snort when Rui Matsui simply reeks of panic. Where she had once been ready to rescind that question as a joke, she now finds reason to continue holding true to it.[break][break]

Though not exactly the most trustworthy of people, being able to access such healing capabilities would prove a blessing in the underground. With a gentle flick of her tail, she nudges the satchel towards Rui and lets her take a peek within. Various poisons flow and shift within their vials - Some viscous, others fluid, some pale and others colourless; Each hold different properties which she trusts the villain to eventually find purpose for.[break][break]

But before Rui's allowed to touch it, she'll pull the satchel back, raising an arm up with open claws.[break][break]

Didn't really matter who Tamaki would have her heal in the future, even if she told her to heal an injured hero she would do it. She would do anything for that precious poison, not that she was strong or anything. Best she could do was offer up her quirk as a healing service. Her eyes lit up as the satchel was nudged towards her. Just what kind of goodies had her bestie brought her? Poisons, sure, but they weren't just your DIY poisons or anything like that. Tamaki only brought the best of the best and Rui knew that. It was the reason she had stopped dealing with others and pretty much exclusive relied on Tamaki for these transactions. To Rui, Tamaki was like the Einstein of poison connoisseurs or something fancy like that!

''This is it! That's the stuff-'' She reached out to touch them, she wanted to see the vials up close, but before she could Tamaki pulled the satchel back. Rui pouted for a split second before she remembered. ''Payment, payment! You're right bestie!'' She reached into the front pocket of her hoodie and fished out some physical cash. There was probably a little more there than the actual price for the vials was, but Rui wasn't about to sit here and do math like some kinda nerd! ''Here, here!'' She put the money in the open claw. ''You're the best, bestie! The bestie bestie!'' She smiled.

Her eyes lit up when the pouch was once again back in her lap. She wasn’t even sure what she wanted to use the poisons for, but she was excited to have them nonetheless. Top of the line poisons from the finest poison maker, mixer? As far as Rui was aware Tamaki was a genius, and it was always handy to have poisons ready to solve your problems, especially if they were sold by a genius. Like, if you thought about it geniuses build airplanes, so in a way Rui was buying her own plane.

“Pleasure doing business yeah, yeah!!” She waved enthusiastically. Grinning with excitement when Tamaki called her bestie!! “Hmm.. Beer! Could you bring some beer next time too, bestie? I-I’ll totes be able to afford it! I just got a new job so I’ll have even more money now! Lots and lots of Bestie Dollars!” She should probably get going too. She had places to be and people to terrorize in the Tokyo nightlife. “I’ll see you in a full moon, bestie! If you need my quirk for something you just gimme a call or a text!” She was already starting to walk away, her small frame soon disappearing into the concrete jungle. “Bye bye, bestie!”
