Akira Yumano was born during the winter to Aiko and Kaiza Yumano. He grew up admiring heroes along with all of his peers and as he got older he learned more about quirks and how they work. At the age of 4, his quirk Burst activated but with no knowledge or prior training on controlling it, he nearly destroyed his room. Luckily for him, his quirk was a fusion of his father's explosion quirk and his mother's frost lightning quirk. They helped him be in control and safely learn how to manage the quirk he had. Even at times where he was afraid due to his cold energy seeping out and freezing the things around him, they were there to help him and that was something that made him motivated to master this, if not for himself then for them.
Over the years, Akira trained really hard with his goal to become a hero. He eventually went to UA and enjoyed most of his first year there until he got some bad news. On the day before his birthday that year, his father was murdered. All Akira was told was his father died saving a woman while he was out buying things for the birthday. That event shaped Akira and he blamed himself for the death since he was actually supposed to head home but wanted to finish up on training before leaving.
In the next two years, he met Crys and while they had a rocky start, they both formed a relationship and became pro-heroes together. During their early Pro-Hero days, they were able to accomplish many things together and one evening they got the call that Akira had been waiting years for. The two of them managed to bring his father's killer, Asai Madoka, to justice. After that, they got married and started a life together. Now as a Pro-Hero and a father, Akira is working on becoming a great hero that all could rely on.

The suit has a helmet that provides Akira with a HUD which has night vision, X-ray, Thermal and infrared capabilities. The suit is deployable from a high tech bracelet and can be worn with or without the helmet. The suit also has an AI interface which allows him to access all of his devices including his phone and other smart tech as long as they are connected in the AI network grid.
The AI interface known as the Intelligent Robotic Interface System or IRIS, is used primarily with the suit as an assistant but is able to be accessed in the other devices connected to her grid in a much lesser capacity.

EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: A retractable energy sword powered by Burst Energy. The hilt was a rectangular metal casing. The Burst Saber has a crystal which serves as a conduit for Burst Energy. The blade can be used as a melee weapon to cut through items, pierce objects and parry other weapons or it could be used to release an energy wave slash.
Whilst in areas of low light, the glowing blade could function as a convenient light source.
By activating his quirk while holding the hilt, he can activate the blade and deactivate it at any time. It can only be used by someone with the Burst quirk. It has a belt ring that allows it to attach to a belt by attachable clip.

QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Plasmatic Burst is a quirk created from the fusion of Explosion and Frost Lightning which grants the user the ability to create Plasmatic energy. The difference with Plasmatic Burst is that instead of producing heat, the energy produced is cold. This element courses through the user's veins and bloodstream, granting them the ability to summon and control this versatile energy at will. The energy, when produced, is shot out as beams or orbs which is capable of freezing the target or pushing it back through sheer force. Unlike other quirks that might cause harm to the user, PB ensures that the individual is not adversely affected by the use of this energy. By pushing the energy to their feet, the user can propel themselves into the air and slow their descent.
