Career fairs are a pretty common thing for companies to take part in. It was a easy recruitment tool for many companies in Japan and Hojo was no different. The company was so large that they were always looking for new talent. From tea clerks to engineers, Hojo always needed new employees. Often, once people would be pulled into the Hojo system, the company could figure out how useful they would be in the future. These people would often be first in line for promotions. The usual career fair visitors would not always do, however. Not everyone was suited for the jobs that Hojo considered of great importance. Delicate jobs like Quirk or Cybernetics Engineer weren't jobs they would had out to everyone. That's were Date's division comes in.
While Date wasn't exactly a recruiter or even in that division. She was counterintelligence and she never had to deal with recruiting new employees unless it was someone who already worked in the company. No, this was different. Kei Hada was a different though. He came to Hojo's attention when certain parameters were pinged why Hojo systems. Date was assigned Kei Hada and poked around a little. Not enough that it was distracting from other duties, but it was intriguing enough that she used it as a distraction.
Today she just happened to represent Hojo Manufacturing & Outfitters as a recruiter because her systems pinged Mr.Hada signing up for a career fair. Dressed in a simple black suite, she was hanging out with other Hojo employees. She patiently waited, scanning the surroundings with her eyes, looking for the specific face match from her database.

Career fair! Kei wasn't a stranger to them. It came with the major he chose; he was learning to become an engineer for hero gear, so naturally he had to look for companies that created said gear so he could work with them. Much as he wanted to start one himself, he just wasn't ready for that kind of responsibility yet. He needed to learn more; make sure he knew everything before he struck out on his own. His last internship ended so he was ready for another. Thank god he knew how to prepare for these things. The junior was dressed professionally, with a long-sleeved navy button up and slacks. He was close to donning a tie as well but he just couldn't do it. It felt too constricting around his neck. But beyond that, he had his folder full of resumes, pen and paper, and a bag at his side to collect business cards. He even had a mental map of the room as well so he wouldn't get lost. He was feeling good. He was feeling ready. Kei stepped through the doors and greeted the first recruiter with a smile. Date Oshiro

Subject identified. Transmitting location. A little notification pinged across her vision. It meant that the target had entered her waters. Expertly moving around the booth of Hojo, which happened to be near the main traffic area, mostly due to how large of a employer the company is. Waving hello to some faces she sees around the office, she had her eye track for movements and faces for the listed parameters. It ended up being a lot easier than she expected though and Kei Hada simply had walked up to her. Usually, she had to deal with more elusive targets but recruitment fairs weren't the same as assassination targets. Hopefully Kei would not become one of those.
"Hello there! Welcome to the Tokyo Job Fair. I'm Date Oshiro from Hojo Manufacturing! Could I interest you in learning more about our industry leading company? Date put on her public mask, the one she usually uses in day to day life. She has gotten quite good at it.

Kei liked to think he was doing well so far. Not once had he forgotten to begin with an introduction, even telling recruiters of his current enrolment in UAU. He couldn't deny how just mentioning its name upped his chances of getting hired; his being in the institute a true testament to his intellect. It allowed him to be picky with who to speak to. Once he finished a snack he'd gotten from one of the tables and washed it down with some water, the support student eventually made his way to a booth where a woman with short silver hair stood. His smile was practiced but enthusiastic. "Hi there, it's a pleasure to meet you Oshiro-san! I'm Kei Hada, third year support major in UAU. I would love to learn more about Hojo." In truth he'd heard of the name already; it was a massive corporation that touched several different industries. It was a good thing Date was part of the branch he was most interested in. So who better to hear more about it than a representative herself? Date Oshiro

Date gave Kei a small smile, gesturing at the panel at the booth behind her. Pinching her thumb and index finger together, the screen behind her came to life. A bold Hojo Logo came up stating the company's moto "A Brighter Future, Together." Crossing her middle finger over her index finger, the screen pulled up a slide relating to Hojo Manufacturing and its sub division. "I specifically work with the Cybernetics and Quirk Research branch but if you have questions about the third branch, I'll try my best to answer those." Date did know that most weren't interested in the Consumer Goods branch. Who is interested in washing machines?
"Hojo is at the forefront when it comes to cybernetics and quirk research. We specifically design technologies to better the lives of our customers. For example." Data touched her temple with her left hand, having her eye colour change from silver to red. Instantly, her vision switched to infrared, outlining any sort of heat source around her. Tapping her temple again, her eyes returned to normal. "My quirk gives me thermal vision. Naturally that made it almost impossible for my eyes to function. With my cybernetic implants, it lets me switch between normal vision and thermal vision." Date nodded before flicking over to another slide. "We usually manufacture quirk related cybernetics with consultation of medical professionals to seek peoples needs." Data flicked her fingers again and moved on to a general job opportunities slide.
"We offer a variety of engineering and research positions. We are very flexible when it comes to what sector you want to work in. Want to work on medical devices that help people who suffer from adverse medical conditions because of their quirk? Go ahead. Want to work on equipment for today's hero's? Go ahead. Skies the limit. Any questions? I know I mentioned a lot there." Data nodded before grabbing the bottle of water on the table behind her. She didn't like talking for a long period of time without taking a drink.

This was the other thing about being picky with one's choice of employment. Overviews, specialties, descriptions of each department- each company had their own versions of the same items they iterate to every prospect, and the applicant was supposed to retain it all somehow. At least long enough to ask questions about it, as questions show interest and interest is good raised your chances of getting employed. Kei's memory wasn't the best. He knew this. It's why his journals are completely filled with his ideas, projects, anything he deemed important- because he knew he'd forget otherwise. Not to mention the fact he would just get overwhelmed in general when a lot of information was relayed to him at once. He's itching for that pen now, knowing he'd remember Date's words better if he wrote them down, but he knew he shouldn't pull his focus away from her with his scribbling. So he had to hope he'd retain enough so the notes he took after the meeting were respectable. Her spacing out her words with demonstrations helped with that. There was awe on his face as he watched her switch between her two forms of vision. But right. Questions. Luckily he was able to formulate some in his head during the conversation. "It's cool that you guys work to better the lives of those with complicated quirks! What would you say was the most complex that the department crafted a solution for so far?" Date Oshiro

Data had to think about that question as Hojo tended to deal with people who were abandoned by the medical system in the country. Most of their cases were last ditch efforts. Expensive last ditch efforts but groundbreaking research isn't cheap. "So obviously we usually provide support to hospitals for the more basic ailments that come with quirks. People often forget that not everyone gets the quirks we see heroes have on TV." Data smiled a bit. Her opinion on hero society were less than savory but that's what made Hojo such a wonderful company. They never had to rely on heroes for their problems. Heroes have issues with Hojo because Hojo wants to make them irrelevant. "We recently made news as we helped mitigate a individuals radiation based quirk so their quirk wasn't actively giving them or everyone around them cancer. It took several years to find a permanent solution but we did find one!" Data remembers that case pretty well because said person works in the same division as her. It was always funny talking to them, remembering how they used to be just a patient. "We honestly have too many examples to count. We also offer simpler technologies for simpler quirk related issues. We also make gear that allows to people to use their quirk to their full potential. We are a large company that does a lot for the people of the world!" Data nodded before drinking some more water. They really need to run the AC in this building. Kei Hada,
