Yoko is an intense person. She usually keeps everyone at an arm's length and will use snark to keep them from getting to know her. In some cases, she may outright bully her peers, but it's all a defense mechanism. Having been a victim of bullying herself, Yoko is deeply critical of herself and is sure that if anyone gets to really know her they will turn on her and bully her like she experienced in the past. However, under her layers of sarcasm and glares she can be expected to do the right thing. Her bad temper really stems from feelings of not knowing who she is supposed to be, self-loathing and fear.

Yoko can often be found begrudgingly wearing school uniforms around campus. However, whenever she dresses herself up she usually goes for something warm like a sweater or a hoodie and sometimes even wears gloves regardless of the season. She also always carries an umbrella with her wherever she goes no matter what the weather forecast for the day is. In terms of her expressions, Yoko looks like she's ready to strangle the first person that stops her on the street, and tends to keep her head down while scowling with her red eyes. She keeps her long, blonde hair braided in one braid each on either side of her head because it's convenient, and less annoying than having her hair down.

My life sucks, end of story.

I'm Yoko Yanai. Yes, my sister is Hebiru. No I will not get her autograph on your behalf.

It's more accurate to say we're half siblings. I mean it's obvious, our quirks are nothing alike. We're still freaks the both of us, but I'm my own unique brand of freak, I don't need her ick mutation in my general vicinity. Still... If you ask me she lucked out. Out of the two of us she has the better quirk.

Me and Hebiru share the same dad, but not the same mom. If you want to know more about Hebiru go watch some interviews with her, okay? She's already pro she probably has Wikipedia articles about her. Anyway, ever since I was a kid our dad wanted me to work in heroics, doesn't matter what his daughter thinks, right? It's only about what he wants. That's despite the fact that I'm a hideous monster. Did I mention that? If I get worked up, or use my quirk I turn into a disgusting monster. Kids bully other kids for less, so as you can imagine school sucked big time.

When I became old enough to take the UAU entrance exam the old man pretty much forced me to do it. In other words if I didn't tryout for UAU he wouldn't give me my phone back. Of course I had the last laugh when I intentionally sabotaged my chances of getting in by doing absolutely nothing. I liked the way I made him mad that day. I don't give a shit about unheroic behavior, what really matters is just being true to yourself. I often go to the ocean to relax and get away from this shitty world we live in. Last time I went there was a couple of people far out at sea. Further from the shore than any amateur swimmer should be, I know this from working as a lifeguard. I dove in after them, activated my quirk without a second thought and got them to safety. Then I got out of there as fast as I could. You won't see me standing around, lapping up praise like some egomaniac hero. I just did what was right.

Nevertheless, I'm a prisoner to the fate that is being a Yanai, and so I can only assume he pulled some strings and got me accepted into the school through nepotism or something. Very heroic don't you think? I'm the next generation of heroism you can trust shitheads like me.

So what's next for me? If I try to get expelled my dad will just have me placed in another hero school like Shiketsu, so I might as well try to learn something while I'm here.

NEW DESCRIPTION: SUPERMOVE DESCRIPTION: Out of the Blue allows Yoko to channel all her anger into the rain cloud that manifests over her head, turning it from a dull gray to a vibrant black with static coming out of it. If Yoko then partially activates her quirk by only transforming her hands and eyes, she is shielded momentarily from the static build-up in the cloud, and can grab it with her hands to aim it and unleash an unwieldy lightning bolt at wherever she aims it.
SUPERMOVE DRAWBACKS: The lightning bolt in question carries all of her anger with it and once fired, all her anger will be drained from her body, leaving her not only unable to sustain her quirk, but unable to reactivate it due to anger being her quirk's trigger. This means that she experiences all her quirk drawbacks at once starting from the moment she used her supermove, and cannot reactivate her quirk again for the rest of the thread. The lightning bolt is also difficult to aim, meaning it is impossible to use accurately at a long range.

Yoko is an intense person. She usually keeps everyone at an arm's length and will use snark to keep them from getting to know her. In some cases, she may outright bully her peers, but it's all a defense mechanism. Having been a victim of bullying herself, Yoko is deeply critical of herself and is sure that if anyone gets to really know her they will turn on her and bully her like she experienced in the past. Yoko can often be found begrudgingly wearing school uniforms around campus. However, whenever she dresses herself up she usually goes for something warm like a sweater or a hoodie and sometimes even wears gloves regardless of the season. She also always carries an umbrella with her wherever she goes no matter what the weather forecast for the day is. In terms of her expressions, Yoko looks like she's ready to strangle the first person that stops her on the street, and tends to keep her head down while scowling with her red eyes. She keeps her long, blonde hair braided in one braid each on either side of her head because it's convenient, and less annoying than having her hair down.

I'm Yoko Yanai. Yes, my sister is Hebiru. No I will not get her autograph on your behalf.

It's more accurate to say we're half siblings. I mean it's obvious, our quirks are nothing alike. We're still freaks the both of us, but I'm my own unique brand of freak, I don't need her ick mutation in my general vicinity. Still... If you ask me she lucked out. Out of the two of us she has the better quirk.

Me and Hebiru share the same dad, but not the same mom. If you want to know more about Hebiru go watch some interviews with her, okay? She's already pro she probably has Wikipedia articles about her. Anyway, ever since I was a kid our dad wanted me to work in heroics, doesn't matter what his daughter thinks, right? It's only about what he wants. That's despite the fact that I'm a hideous monster. Did I mention that? If I get worked up, or use my quirk I turn into a disgusting monster. Kids bully other kids for less, so as you can imagine school sucked big time.

When I became old enough to take the UAU entrance exam the old man pretty much forced me to do it. In other words if I didn't tryout for UAU he wouldn't give me my phone back. Of course I had the last laugh when I intentionally sabotaged my chances of getting in by doing absolutely nothing. I liked the way I made him mad that day. I don't give a shit about unheroic behavior, what really matters is just being true to yourself. I often go to the ocean to relax and get away from this shitty world we live in. Last time I went there was a couple of people far out at sea. Further from the shore than any amateur swimmer should be, I know this from working as a lifeguard. I dove in after them, activated my quirk without a second thought and got them to safety. Then I got out of there as fast as I could. You won't see me standing around, lapping up praise like some egomaniac hero. I just did what was right.

Nevertheless, I'm a prisoner to the fate that is being a Yanai, and so I can only assume he pulled some strings and got me accepted into the school through nepotism or something. Very heroic don't you think? I'm the next generation of heroism you can trust shitheads like me.

So what's next for me? If I try to get expelled my dad will just have me placed in another hero school like Shiketsu, so I might as well try to learn something while I'm here.

Yoko can often be found begrudgingly wearing school uniforms around campus. However, whenever she dresses herself up she usually goes for something warm like a sweater or a hoodie and sometimes even wears gloves regardless of the season. She also always carries an umbrella with her wherever she goes no matter what the weather forecast for the day is. In terms of her expressions, Yoko looks like she's ready to strangle the first person that stops her on the street, and tends to keep her head down while scowling with her red eyes. She keeps her long, blonde hair braided in one braid each on either side of her head because it's convenient, and less annoying than having her hair down.

My life sucks, end of story.

I'm Yoko Yanai. Yes, my sister is Hebiru. No I will not get her autograph on your behalf.

It's more accurate to say we're half siblings. I mean it's obvious, our quirks are nothing alike. We're still freaks the both of us, but I'm my own unique brand of freak, I don't need her ick mutation in my general vicinity. Still... If you ask me she lucked out. Out of the two of us she has the better quirk.

Me and Hebiru share the same dad, but not the same mom. If you want to know more about Hebiru go watch some interviews with her, okay? She's already pro she probably has Wikipedia articles about her. Anyway, ever since I was a kid our dad wanted me to work in heroics, doesn't matter what his daughter thinks, right? It's only about what he wants. That's despite the fact that I'm a hideous monster. Did I mention that? If I get worked up, or use my quirk I turn into a disgusting monster. Kids bully other kids for less, so as you can imagine school sucked big time.

When I became old enough to take the UAU entrance exam the old man pretty much forced me to do it. In other words if I didn't tryout for UAU he wouldn't give me my phone back. Of course I had the last laugh when I intentionally sabotaged my chances of getting in by doing absolutely nothing. I liked the way I made him mad that day. I don't give a shit about unheroic behavior, what really matters is just being true to yourself. I often go to the ocean to relax and get away from this shitty world we live in. Last time I went there was a couple of people far out at sea. Further from the shore than any amateur swimmer should be, I know this from working as a lifeguard. I dove in after them, activated my quirk without a second thought and got them to safety. Then I got out of there as fast as I could. You won't see me standing around, lapping up praise like some egomaniac hero. I just did what was right.

Nevertheless, I'm a prisoner to the fate that is being a Yanai, and so I can only assume he pulled some strings and got me accepted into the school through nepotism or something. Very heroic don't you think? I'm the next generation of heroism you can trust shitheads like me.

So what's next for me? If I try to get expelled my dad will just have me placed in another hero school like Shiketsu, so I might as well try to learn something while I'm here.

[b]QUIRK DESCRIPTION:[/b] Planet Blue is a quirk that allows the user to transform into a river troll. What this means is that when the user activates their quirk, they turn into a blue troll increasing their muscle mass significantly, as well as taking on the grotesque traits of a troll. While transformed, the quirk's rank replaces the user's strength attribute. While untransformed, the user has a mutation that makes their lungs bigger, allowing them to hold their breath for longer than the average person. The quirk is fueled by emotions. For instance, the user has to tap into their anger to even transform in the first place. Additionally, if the user gets upset their skin will slowly start to turn blue, and if they get too emotional a small, dark cloud will appear over their head and start raining down on them. This is purely for flavor.
[b]QUIRK DRAWBACKS:[/b] The user is susceptible to a variety of elements, being weak to fire, electricity and especially cold which they have a strong aversion to. Once the quirk is activated the user also can't ride cars, or go up stairs due to their weight and density increasing significantly. Quirk overuse will lead to muscles cramping and hypothermia, leaving the user unable to fend for themself.

If Yoko then partially activates her quirk by only transforming her hands and eyes, she is shielded momentarily from the static build-up in the cloud, and can grab it with her hands to aim it and unleash an unwieldy lightning bolt at wherever she aims it.
[b]SUPERMOVE DRAWBACKS:[/b] The lightning bolt in question carries all of her anger with it and once fired, all her anger will be drained from her body, leaving her not only unable to sustain her quirk, but unable to reactivate it due to anger being her quirk's trigger. This means that she experiences all her quirk drawbacks at once starting from the moment she used her supermove, and cannot reactivate her quirk again for the rest of the thread. The lightning bolt is also difficult to aim, meaning it is impossible to use accurately at a long range.
