She gave Yoko a cheer with her drink, which was a little shaky as she had put down a few pretty quickly, and after not eating properly for a few days, she was feeling slightly buzzed. Perhaps it was that that made her come up with her next genius idea. "Oh! I heard that for students, you can get guest passes for people to stay over on campus. We should have a sleepover! You can show me everything you do on campus, and I can meet your other friends!" She polished off the last of her drinks and put the empty ones in the drawers with the others. [break][break]

"Okay, yes, but actually, no. My middle name is Konotori (Stork)" It was unusual for people to have middle names in Japan but Kawahara's parents were a bit...odd to say the least. They liked Stork because Kawahara was adopted, and somehow that made sense to them. Her phone rang as Kawahara nearly jumped out of her seat. "Aww, crud!" She looked at the contact, and it was clearly her sister, likely asking her about work. "I probably have to run Yo-chan, but hang out as long as you want! It'll take me, hmm, an hour? Probably." It would take her at least 4 hours, but she probably knew by now not to trust Kawahara's sense of time. [break][break]

Although she was much less enthusiastic in how she expressed herself, she returned the cheers with her own drink. If she didn't have a best friend like Kawahara to come to she would probably have been miserable by now. Just the thought of having nowhere to go off campus to unwind, to vent, to get away from it all. It made her shudder. ''No way, for real?'' At first she was surprised she hadn't heard about guest passes being a thing, but then she remembered how tired she always was after class, and coupled with homework and working part-time on the weekends she really didn't want to waste time looking into that sort of stuff. Not like she had a wealth of friends outside campus either way. However, the prospect of bringing her one best friend over sounded fun. ''That sounds like a great idea. You'll like them. I'll figure out a day.'' Hopefully Khepri wasn't going to be too weird, or Luna with her chronic sleeping, or Wendy- well at least Michael was going to make a good first impression so long as Kawahara could see past his balloon head.

''You actually have a middle name? You're not just saying that for the bit?'' She sat up a bit in her chair as she looked over at Kawahara, actually shocked by this revelation. What kind of best friend was she for not knowing that? Probably the kind that was okay letting Kawahara have her own private life or something. Silver lining and all that. She looked towards the sound of the phone as it rang. She didn't see who it was, not that it really mattered anyway. With Kawahara it could be one of three things. Debt collectors hounding her, the Prime Minister somehow, or other friends, but calling at this hour, on a weekend? ''Oh, uh...'' She just gave her a puzzled thumbs up. ''You got it.'' She didn't mind holding down the fort, going through a little more of her drink as she watched cat videos on her phone, went outside for a smoke and then came back inside only to curl up on Kawahara's couch and fall asleep wrapped up in a blanket.
